Still love the vibe, it is very cute. The drinks are on the sweeter side. The workers are super nice and polite. There was basically no wait, which was a huge plus.

Cute lil spot. Cute interior decor. Bubble tea was good. Nothing special but it's also been a minute since I've had one. Honeydew is a classic and can't ever go wrong. Service was avg.

This was an interesting concept for the interior of a boba place. There is a lot happening within a short amount of time of just stepping into this place. I was confused to begin with. Service was great for it being a one woman show. She was getting through making the drinks as fast as she could. She was very responsive and patient. Drinks: I ordered the mango milk ice with boba and a strawberry milk ice with egg pudding. Both drinks were SUPER SWEET. Almost unbearably sweet. I'll come back here again, but look into their boba milk teas instead. Food: I bought the fresh strawberry sando.

All the employees are nice:) Cute theme inside. Just the drink I got (banana strawberry smoothie) wasn't that good

Oko Cafe is located in the same plaza as Tokyo Central & Main, specifically next door to 88 Pocha. This tea house is dog friendly (inside and out are leashed dogs allowed). My husband, our little girl dog and I came here on a Sunday afternoon, around 3:45 pm. After looking over the menu, I ended up purchasing: Large Almond Milk Tea, (made with black tea and 25% sweetener), $5.75 prior to tax- I thought my drink was still on the sweet side, even with 25% sweetener. I would probably consider ordering at 0% sweetener then. But I did like the drink though. My husband also ended up purchasing a large drink, that I do not recall what he got, but it was $5.75 prior to tax. ------------------------------ (Total= $12.68 after tax) Service was friendly. The employee who took our order at the register (whom I suspect is the owner) actually took a dog biscuit from the dog treat jar from the counter and offered it to our little girl. The cafe itself inside is decorated like a comic book, 2D and makes for some great photos. Overall, we had a positive experience and would consider coming back the next time I am shopping at Tokyo Central.

Cute interior. Love the fake 2D look and they really got the feel of the trains in Japan down. Layout is kind of weird and there's a lot of noise in the surroundings. They also seem to be in collaboration with various pop up shops in their space so it's kind of confusing especially having another tea shop in your tea shop but you make their teas for them also? We've popped in from time to time over the last 10 years. It's typically one of the last places open. Staff is always nice and helpful so no complaints there. I've always felt the drinks aren't great but decent and just over sugared. This last time I did a peach lychee oolong tea which is my staple at some other tea places but here it came out really bad... maybe the tea flavor was not my usual oolong or I needed a lot more sugar to bridge the gap (I did 50%). Tried to finish it but had to give up. Next time I'll just go for something safer like a peach green tea.

We like this cute spot! They have cute 2-D decor and they play good music! I enjoyed writing a note on their well wishes tree! Also, their piano works but there's a note that roughly says if you don't know how to play the piano then don't! Haha! Luckily while we were waiting for our drinks a guy knew how to play and he was pretty good! We ordered Strawberry Matcha Latte and Iced Kumquat Oolong Tea.

Oko Cafe is a sweet little cafe. To be honest, I remember coming here before, but not the drinks I got! I have pictures, so I do know. However, I will undoubtedly remember my most recent visit! We ate dinner in this plaza and I was in the mood for a drink afterwards. We wandered inside Oko and I noticed the Sakura Cherry Blossom & Moshi Moshi stuff. TIP: To order from the Momoko x Moshi Moshi menu, you must use the kiosk. You cannot order at the counter. When you step inside, you'll see that the furniture and decorations are all black & white. Like the artist drew all the lines with a black Sharpie! There's a train complete with seats & handholds for standing passengers. Too cute! Previously, there was a family of ducks that once graced that wall. There's also a guitar, telephone, computer, and a portrait of Albert Einstein! I love the functional piano named Hammond! They even provided a music book! It's neat that they change up the interior from time to time. This black & white drawn theme continues to the counter & the restroom! Parking is free at the Pacific Square Shopping Center. The two items I wanted required me to use the kiosk. I got the Sakura Cherry Black Milk Tea with Kikkoman Organic Soy Milk & Sakura Honey Boba ($7.65) - I loved this drink! The tea bag is left in the cup. The drink itself was quite ambrosial! What made this drink a notch above was the Sakura Honey Boba! They were absolutely amazing and more than worth the 90¢! I don't know if this is permanently on the (kiosk) menu or not, but I need to get some more! I was a little bit sad when I finished my drink! [ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/oko-cafe-gardena-3?select=HDhM2qA-BfKUOVKaOJZ_Mw ] Interesting fact: Momoko x Moshi Moshi offers 5 different Milk choices - Kikkoman Organic Soy Milk, Oatly Oat Milk, Stratus Organic Milk, Califia Almond Milk, and Hokkaido Non-Dairy Creamer. We also wanted to try the Fresh Tama Strawberry Sakura Cream Sando ($5.50). It took a while for this sando to come out because it is made fresh. It looked like quite a work of art! I must say that eating it was a feat in itself! I tried to cut my half into bite-sized pieces, but everything oozed out from the bread and made a mess! I ended up eating it as a deconstructed sandwich. In a way, it reminded me of a Strawberry Shortcake. [ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/oko-cafe-gardena-3?select=cirXq4KbQYoaVXiTA6FjPg ] It was worth the extra time it took to get the drink & sando because they were made fresh while we waited! Looking back at my pictures, I've been here three times with a 2 year gap between each visit. Wow! I can assure you that I will undoubtedly return this year, not two years from now!

I love this place. There Boba Teas are the best! This is a family-owned business. Their dog is their mascot. He is so calm and friendly. This place has a WIDE array of flavors. You just can't go wrong. They are located in the heart of Gardena, in the Asian shopping center. You can either sit outside and chill or sit inside and chill. I love the vibe. They play all kinds of music. Today, there were playing Disney songs. You will be greeted by a smile and people very interested in taking your order and making you smile. And, please be patient. Each order is custom made. Small businesses are hurting right now. So, PLEASE stop by the place and give them some support. You won't be sorry.

Great coffee & customer service! The shop setting is super cute, lots to see especially the wishing tree... you have to see it to understand. Can't wait to bring my kids!!

This cafe is cute! It has a unique paper doodle art style featured in the decor, such as the subway wall with real hanging handles and the paper piano. The drinks themselves are just ok to me. I got 70% sugar and it was still quite sweet. I also didn't taste much tea. The boba was a little chewy, but I would have preferred softer. I like that you can choose your own flavors to mix into the milk tea though. The workers are nice; the older gentleman let us pet his dog. I... might come back... I heard the sandos are good so maybe next time.

We knew about the original location in Gardena - but never thought about going since we were content with the location in Fountain Valley. 3 weeks ago, I was in the area of Gardena with my sister in law and decided to stop by this location for dinner on a whim with no expectations. I was very surprised to find out this Gardena location does't have the excessive lines & wait time and the servers and cooks are a lot nicer and accommodating than the Fountain Valley location. In fact, I think the food quality is slightly better qnd once again, less wait time to be served. There is a server by the name of Oswaldo at this location that's exceptional kind and helpful and is worth driving down to Gardena just to be served by him. Oswaldo is always smiling and genuinely eager to accommodate you. The servers at the Fountain Valley location are strict & militant, like soup nazis. Their rules are somewhat rigid and you couldn't even open the door to the restaurant to use the restroom without an approval from one of the workers. You were pretty much told what to do and where to sit for your meal. This Gardena location is slightly larger in space and not as tight and stuffy. And the best part, they serve Yakitori for lunch during the weekdays and weekends. Their hours seem to be more flexible. Hands down; Gardena's location is all round the best in my opinion. Maybe it because it's the original location. Trust me, I've been to the West L.A. location too and it was my least favorite location of the 3.

We also shared the jidori egg and seaweed salad. Out of everything we ordered, my favorites were definitely the sashimi, the shrimp and scallop tempura, and the jidori egg. The onion and bacon added some necessary contrast, crunch, and meatiness to the meal. The noodle texture is excellent with a nice snap.
