The regular size is actually pretty big, which I liked. It honestly felt more like a large, so I think you get a good amount for what you pay. I really enjoyed the green tea because it has a strong jasmine flavor, which I personally love. The taro milk tea, though, definitely needs some adjustments. The taste itself wasn't bad, but the texture was way too thick--it honestly felt like I was drinking yogurt. On top of that, I could still feel and taste bits of taro powder in my mouth. I know taro powder doesn't always dissolve completely, but this was enough that I couldn't finish my drink after just a few sips. I had to throw it away. Wasted $7-$8. I really couldn't get past the thick texture. I'd recommend the green tea, but I'd skip the taro milk tea. Please don't order the taro milk tea from here... lol. read more

Glad they reopened after shutting down their location in the Tokyo Central plaza. This location is pretty barebones in terms of decor but don't let that stop you from coming here. Their milk teas are solid here and service is quick. We've had their milk tea, roasted oolong milk tea and osmanthus oolong mill tea; they are all solid and would get again. Their quality reminds me of what I used to love at Tea Stations before...making quality tea-forward drinks. Beware it is easy to miss as they're in the far corner of the plaza but there is plenty of parking. read more

We wanted to try a new boba place and picked this place because of the good reviews, however they weren't consistent with our personal experience unfortunately. We got 3 drinks: matcha ice cream milk tea with boba, strawberry yogurt drink, and almond tea with boba. Taste wise we weren't very satisfied because the boba was very chewy/firm and the tea was very watered down with hardly any flavor to it. Both the service and the ambiance didn't seem very warm/welcoming... the vibes just felt kinda off. We went on a Saturday afternoon and no one else was there so added a star for no wait at least? I am grasping at straws a bit (pun intended lol). Anyway likely won't go back. Also this place popped up when I searched for cheese foam so note that there is NO cheese foam available here as of now. Tea station moved here from Gardena. This location is hiding in the back of the shopping center behind Pizza Hut on Anza and Del Amo. My mother is the queen of Boba black milk tea so we stopped in once and one try and got hooked! The milk tea reminds me of the ones in Taiwan. Pretty authentic and flavorful. Our go to is the black milk tea with Boba and red bean. Too bad they don't do half and half so we have to pay for another topping and it's just too much toppings in a drink. Their drinks run pretty sweet so we get our drink with 0 sugar or 30% is perfect. I heard their Taiwanese food is delicious, I will have to try it one day! So happy Tea Station is available. They closed many of them and recently closed the one in Gardena. This location is a bit out of the way but I come here fairly often. My favorite drink has always been the jasmine green milk tea with fresh milk. I'm happy to report this location has the Tea Station quality that I love. It tastes exactly like the way I used to remember it years ago. They still do the stamp cards and even have the OG pens! Ordering it through pickup is super fast even though there's hardly any line. So glad the husband and I decided to grab Tea Station after our Chiro appointment. I got the medium Wintermelon green milk tea with boba, regular sweetness and it tasted amazing! This place is the closest tea station to long beach. We make the drive out here whenever we are near torrance. Love tea station. The large size is a whopping 32oz of diabetes. I always order it. Tea station is a pretty old chain tea and Taiwanese snack/food store in the US. I've had their tea since I was a kid. Back in the day, they were considered rather expensive compared to other tea chains. Nowadays, their prices are in the same ballpark. The tea is strong flavored, which I love. I regularly crave Taiwanese food, so this is one of the few places in the area I can get a stewed pork rice (lu rou fan). Theirs has an authentic taste. It comes with a salad as a side dish. That's a bit unusual for Taiwanese bentos--they usually include a cooked cabbage, tomato&egg, and/or corn side dish. It's understandable given how small the kitchen is at this location though. Their service is great too. The staff is kind and understanding. I ordered one of my drinks at 25% sweet which wasnt enough for me. They gladly added sugar, re-shook my drink for me, then asked if it was enough. I'll definitely be back when I crave Taiwanese comfort food. read more

Honeydew slush was the perfect flavor I was looking for, I don't like sweet things so I got the 25% sweet and it was good, next time I will try no sweet. It was made with honeydew powder, ice, and vanilla ice cream which was a perfect flavor combo. My boyfriend got the royal milk tea 75% sweet and the tea flavor is strong and distinct of royal tea. The boba pearl flavor itself is very delicate, keep that in mind if you have a strong tapioca pearl craving. Their teas and slushes are on point if that is what you're craving. Don't know what to order so I asked the cashier, she was incredibly friendly patient and helpful, and recommended the Honey Lemon Passionfruit Green Tea. The tastes hit you in the same order as the name, very good! I was also intrigued by the 913 King tea, turns out it was a Ginseng Base tea and one of my new favorites. Had a great underlying roasted taste with lots of richness without being too sweet or too creamy. Cost $16 for both which is a bit high, but definitely quality. First time checking out tea station and I really like it. It was quick and they let you choose the sugar level like all boba shops. This is what was different about tea station if you pay $1 they have a trenta size (Starbucks equivalent) cup you can get which was really nice. I've never seen this size cup before at any other boba tea shop and only $1 more to get the larger size very nice. All other shops have the standard size and after they put in the ice you really don't get much tea. Here was also another plus they didn't put that much ice in the cup. Absolutely love the tea station. I will make the 20+ minute drive to see the couple who own/run this location. They are so kind and always know and start my order before I walk in. Blink and you'll miss another boba shop opening in the South Bay. I had no idea Tea Station was having a soft opening until my friend told me. It's BOGO free until April 30, 2022. The menu is limited but I think the selection is decent. There was NO line when I went. I was greeted immediately when I walked in. The space is clean and very roomy. No tables but there two large benches you can sit while waiting for your order. I know this is "tea" station but i actually didn't feel like ordering tea today. I ordered the mango and honeydew snow ices at the recommended 50% sweet. Service was really quick but when I got it I realized they made passion fruit snow ice instead of mango. It wasn't a big deal to me and i didn't say anything because I had been debating getting that instead. The honeydew was the fav in my family but I did enjoy the tartness of the passion fruit. If you just want a no-frills but traditional boba shop this is the place. They've had two different locations in Gardena over the years. Tea is the specialty here though there are some fruity frappes and a small bites menu. Being an ardent fan of Boba teas, couldnt believe that I havent tried this place even though it is relatively close to my house. The location is good, lots of parking around, the shop itself is wide and open and well lit. The number of items on the menu are limited and I guess its a good thing. I ordered the Kings Milk Tea that seemed to be a flagship item of the shop. I ordered with 50% sugar and less ice. I was disappointed with the taste, it lacked flavor and it was almost tasting like water with very less taste of tea. All drinks here are quite expensive compared to other places. I would expect more flavor and uniqueness from a $7 regular size ($8 for large size) drink. So when it comes to value for money, I would say it is not worth it atleast the drink I tried. It is probably the most expensive boba team place in the area. I might not visit this place again. read more

A classic! This SoCal staple has been brewing tea since 1996, and even earlier if you count their (former?) parent company Ten Ren. Initially, it looked like the pandemic was the final nail in the coffin for this franchise. But they're back. You can find them in the southeast corner of Del Amo and Anza, slightly diagonal from another boba place Amai Tea & Cafe. It's close to West High and Bert Lynn, so it's best to avoid going after school ends. The strip mall has an adequate amount of parking, but the spots are narrow. Indoor decor is sparse and seating was limited to a couple of benches. They didn't have any tables set up when I came, so we just grabbed-and-go. For me the drink was good and the topping was so-so. Nice balance of creaminess from the milk and flavor from the tea. 75% sweetness was fine with me, 50% sweetness on the Thai Tea was still a little too sweet for my mom. Boba was too soft and clumpy. The food menu is limited compared to the menu at their former Pacific Square location. But it looks like they added a couple more options since they opened, so I hope that continues! read more
