Jeju Matcha Latte / 말차 라떼 with Banana Milk
    Briseida N.

Came here a while ago with a friend and we got the matcha with banana milk and it was good! Today I went in after I saw someone on Instagram highly recommended the banana milk latte and I was not disappointed! It's so so good, one of the best lattes I've ever had! Definitely coming back to try more drinks plus their bakery items! The service was great and I love the ambience, it's super calm and plenty of tables!

This is the bag my items were in...does not look new to me?! TF is this?

I picked up a Too Good to go order from this place and I'm not at all impressed which is strange because on here and the app they have high reviews??? For one the bag that they put my items in was already used because it was crumbled and folded like it had been used already and I don't think I got what I paid for?! Why are you charging $6.99 for some damn pastries that look old and not fresh, this shyt should've been $2-3 dollars at most not $7.72 what I paid, don't worry cause I most certainly will never be returning, the vibes were there and customer service was definitely lacking!!

I love this cafe. Their coffee and matcha drinks are very good. I also really like their matcha scone to accompany my drink. My husband is a huge fan of their Tiger Latte that has brown sugar. I try something different each time I go.

Garlic cream cheese AFTER coming out of their microwave. It was still cold.

I ordered the Banana Latte and my wife ordered the Corn Latte. The foam of her Corn Latte was delicious. The coffee itself wasn't a great combination. It was at most a solid 4/10. The coffee took away from the Corn Latte and my Banana Latte was a solid 6.5/10. We bought their highly advertised garlic cream cheese bread. We had to ask if they could heat it up. They put it in the microwave, but when they brought it over to our table it was still cold. Service was friendly. Interior was clean. Coffee and baked good experience was not what I expected it to be.

I've already been here three times but Im just barely writing my review. Every time I come here I'm greeted very warmly and asked if I have any questions. They have a great selection of coffee and pastries. I have tried their banana coffee iced, which is SO delicious. I've also tried their Smoking spaniard latte and most recently I went and I had their seasonal apple crisp latte. I have never. I love that it has lots of space inside and then a little area on the outside. Plus there's lots of parking which I truly appreciate I would be there more often if it wasn't a little bit out of my way

Ambiance: this coffee chain place is located in a packed plaza, the seating area inside is crowded, without enough charging stations, and the restroom is gross Service: staff here is friendly although not skillful to make decent coffee drinks Drink: I wanted to try their food, but all the pastries ones on the shelf look so stale, so the review is based on drink only HOUSE DRIP COFFEE - * watery, lukewarm, probably the worst drip coffee I've ever had TIGER LATTE - ** their Signature Brown Sugar Latte with Caramel and frothed Oat Milk over their Signature Espresso, sugary but lack of coffee taste, it's a shame to be their signature Price: poor quality and not worth $6~$7 cost per drink

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE their garlic cheese bread. I haven't tried anything but the two variations of the cream cheese garlic bread. It's so delicious. It smells so good inside. Price is about $5 each I'll try their coffees one of these days. Very clean inside and staff is clean. Quick service. Large parking lot but it is always filled.

This was a nice place to get some weekend work done. It was a mix of people getting work done and groups of friends catching up, so it had a nice atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and attentive as well. I tried the iced coffee and tiger milk coffee. The drinks were okay but the coffee was a little too light for me. They had a little baked foods section at the front but I went later in the day so it was nearly sold out - hope I make it earlier next time to try out some pastries!

Banana milk latte was pretty damn good. I was fairly impressed by this place. They have several stores it seems and a central kitchen that pumps out their pastries? Usually coffee shops bring their pastries in from some local bakery but it seems like they legitimately make their own. Not only that but they are unique enough that I believe it. Not your typical almond croissant, blah, blah, blah that every other place has. Their unique takes on pastries genuinely makes me want to try them all. Kudos! Can't wait to go back.

One of my favorite coffee spots--Smoking Tiger Coffee Lab always delivers! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is chill, modern, and welcoming. The cups and sleeves are adorable with their minimalist tiger design--such a cute touch that makes every order feel a little extra special. The customer service is always kind and quick. Even when it's busy, the team moves fast without sacrificing friendliness, which I really appreciate when I'm on the go. As for the coffee? SOO good. I always go for the Tiger Latte--smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. If you want to switch it up, the Smoking Spaniard is another solid pick with a unique flavor twist that never disappoints. If you're a coffee lover who also appreciates great service and aesthetic details, you'll love it here. Definitely a go-to in my rotation!

Finally got to try this location! Went for a work day to break up the monotony of WFH for a hour or two and I was so happy to work at their cafe. They have plenty of seating for any size groups really. A lot of seating is in twos which definitely caters to those studying/working, etc. Quite a peaceful cafe in the late morning/early afternoon too. The baristas and bakers were kind and welcoming too. Very easy to order and my drink was made quickly. Wouldn't ask for anything more! I did get to order their strawberry matcha latte and I picked up a few on their baked goods to bring home with me. I really enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte, but it was very very sweet. So if you don't like your matcha too sweet, I would suggest a different matcha choice. I absolutely loved their pistachio croissant! Honestly it made me want multiple with how flaky and sweet it was. My second favorite was definitely the Ube scone. Pretty moist for a scone and just with a hint of sweetness while also being crumbly as a normal scone. Great combo! I enjoyed the purple sweet potato bread too as it was not as sweet so it was a delightful snack. Honestly I don't think you could go wrong ordering anything here as it is all delicious in its own way!

I discovered Smoking Tiger while visiting a friend, and brief parking (30 mins) is easily available. Need more time ? Underground is nice and easy! I ordered their Jeju matcha. It did come with some agave syrup, and even at light / half sweet, it tasted a bit too sweet for me. There are a great variety of tasty drinks on their menu as well as some temptingly tasty pastries on the side. The staff were friendly in order and in even in recommending drinks since I prefer no syrup / low sugar. Wi-Fi and seating was pretty easy to access on a weekend afternoon, making it a perfect study / meetup / work spot. Music? The perfect volume, not too distracting and just at the right volume - good, chill beats. The Wi-Fi isn't the fastest, but it definitely gets he job done. It was a tad slow when I first sat down and even crashed, but it was fixed within 5 minutes.

Tried the Banana Milk Latte, the ratio of milk to espresso was perfff, I wanted to try the Sweet corn Latte as well but i'll be back next time! Pretty spacious inside with plenty of room to study, they had some pastries that looked so delicious like the matcha and chocolate croissant! Only down side was the parking area.

I have gone with a few people many times and our favorites are: the Spanish latte, Mexican Chai, Chai Latte, and Mocha Latte. The Spanish latte is especially good, and the Chai latte is the best I have had in my life it's so well made. The Mexican Chai I can only describe as a cinnamon heaven with the best Chai base flavor ever. The Mocha latte is heavy in the best way possible, it's super strong and I love it. The best part I think for all the drinks is the baristas do not hold back on the coffee, and you always get your moneys worth. None of it is water down, and it's such a great pick me up. I can't really speak on the Matcha cause no one in my group has tried it since we aren't really big Matcha enjoyers. But I have been told that the strawberry Matcha is transcendent and absolutely fantastic. They have a bunch of Matcha flavor options as well, which would be amazing if I was a Matcha connoisseur, but unfortunately, I'm not . So I can't really speak well on that yet, but have only told fantastic things about it. The workers are all kind and work really fast so you get your drinks really quickly even though the line is pretty long. I will say the best time to go and get drinks is around in the morning when they open around 7:30 on the weekends. Again I have to restate wait is always 100% worth it for the amazing quality drinks you will get. I also forgot to mention the fact, you can customize your drinks to have different types of milk and they also have a bunch of other vegan food options as well. I think this is amazing even though my group doesn't really get those options, because I've been told even when people change out the milk, it taste the exact same, which I think is absolutely incredible. (Side note I may update this when I take a photo next time I go because I always forget to before I put on the top on and start drinking ) The experience is great. The drinks are absolutely incredible and the workers are very nice and very helpful.5/5 stars

I usually go to Oakobing in Ktown, but I'm so happy to have a place this good much closer to home. My husband and I recently stopped by for the injeolmi bingsoo, and it absolutely blew my mind. It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture. It was so good that I'm craving another bowl just thinking about it. *Drools* I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day since we've only visited after dinner, but we've always found plenty of parking. It's the perfect dessert spot to cool off on a hot summer evening, and definitely one I'd recommend if you're in the area.

There is a little history buried inside Noon Korean Bingsoo House. Before Noon, this same…read morestorefront was Oncle's Cafe, a Korean inspired dessert and coffee shop that opened here in 2022. Somewhere along the way Oncle became Noon, the cakes and coffee gave more ground to bingsoo and the place changed enough that I still occasionally catch myself comparing what is there now with what I remember being there before. That may be part of why I have kept coming back. I remember Oncle being one of those easy little places where the service felt unusually attentive. Young guys behind the counter who seemed genuinely engaged, checking on things, keeping the room moving, making the whole experience feel cared for. Noon still occupies the same address and the bones of a good dessert shop are obviously still there, but the experience today feels considerably more transactional. The bingsoo itself is not bad. The machine is doing what it is supposed to do. The ice has that fine, soft, almost snow like texture that separates good Korean bingsoo from somebody simply attacking a block of ice with machinery. The problem, for me, is everything they put on top of it. I have tried enough of the menu at this point that I don't think this is a matter of choosing the wrong flavor. Strawberry, mango, the more elaborate combinations they consistently lean too sweet. Syrups, sauces, creams, fruit. Eventually all that sugar begins flattening the very thing that makes bingsoo so good. The delicacy of the ice itself. Instead of tasting individual ingredients, you start tasting sweetness in several different costumes. That is where Noon loses me compared with the better versions of this dessert. A great bingsoo lets you keep eating because nothing overwhelms anything else. Here, a few spoonfuls in, I'm usually wishing someone had simply stopped adding things. Then there is the experience of going. Parking in this plaza at the wrong hour can turn dessert into a minor logistical exercise. The lot is tight, dinner traffic makes it worse and the alternative is hunting around outside. Once you make it in, seating operates with that awkward first come first served ambiguity where someone who ordered after you can apparently have a table secured while you stand there holding dessert and waiting for another group to leave. The room itself often feels oddly unattended. Tables linger before being cleared. Surfaces can feel sticky. Nobody seems particularly responsible for making the dining room feel reset between customers. When it gets crowded, all of that compounds. People hovering for seats, groups talking over one another, trays sitting around, everyone negotiating the room themselves. None of this makes Noon terrible. That is probably the important distinction. The actual shaved ice is good. Some of the combinations are enjoyable. There are plenty of people who will probably prefer the sweeter style more than I do. And clearly the place has found an audience. Noon's current social presence identifies it as a Gardena bingsoo shop at this same Western Avenue location. I just find myself wondering why I keep making the effort. Maybe some of it is nostalgia for Oncle. Maybe I keep hoping the next visit will recover whatever made the old place feel more personal. But when getting dessert requires fighting for parking, negotiating a table, sitting in a room that feels half managed and then eating bingsoo that is considerably sweeter than I want it to be, there are easier ways to spend an evening.

Review #990 2026-060…read more Drinks Order: Peach Jasmine Tea with Crystal Boba $5.60 Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher with Lychee Jelly $6.60 Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba $7 Cafe Pruvia is located on the east side of Pacific Square Shopping Center while traversing over a bunch of speed bumps to reach the cafe. With several boba/tea shops in the same plaza, I'm guessing they're trying to capitalize on the high foot traffic from Tokyo Central & Main supermarket, & their competitors ("boba clusters")? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On my first visit, I wasn't sure what to order & saw someone exit with a bright green drink; the cashier said it's one of their more popular refreshers: Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher, & ordered it with lychee jelly. It's basically a slushy with passionfruit & green apple, but the flavor isn't as sharp, though it paired well with the jelly. I love peach, & their Peach Jasmine Tea is perfect for the summer... light, refreshing, & aromatically alluring with the combo of jasmine & peach. I prefer the Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba, which I claimed for my Local By Toast (LBT) $5 birthday reward. This slush has a notable peach flavor & crystal boba tastes better in this icy drink because it maintains its soft, chewy texture whereas tapioca pearls usually hardens & becomes tough after longer icy exposure. The menu is compact, consisting of: milk & flavored teas, non-caffeinated drinks, swirls, refreshers, crema (milk smoothies), coffees & coffee lattes, & tea lattes, with moderate prices in this competitive neighborhood. It's a decent selection but nothing that I considered unique enough for dedicated loyalty with other options in this center. Not the friendliest of service, but they are fast. The cafe is quite spacious with tables & chairs lining around the perimeter... with free WiFi, there's usually a crowd hanging out, particularly during the weekend evenings. If they provided board games, would that be additional entertainment to entice customers to stay a little longer & have a few more drinks? Hmmm... Cafe Pruvia uses LBT for their loyalty rewards, & program rules allows you to earn 1 point for every $1 spent, & earning 165 points for a $5 discount (or 3%). I'm not a frequent patron so I haven't checked my rewards status in a while... I came back recently when they dropped a $5 birthday reward. That's when I checked my account & saw that I only tallied 3 points after multiple trips; their tracking system is glitchy & I don't plan to fix it since there's no way I'll spend enough to earn the next $5 reward. Opened during the pandemic lockdown for nearly 6 years, Cafe Pruvia announced that they will be permanently closing on Sunday, 05/24/26, but will maintain next door sister, Pruvia Coffee Bar. If you're a fan of their teas & smoothies, this is your last chance to say goodbye.
