Came here to get some coffee and croissant before brunch nearby. They're closing soon so not much left to get. The coffee is great, the baked goods are yummy and delish. Great service with smile. Will come back whenever in the area in the morning to checkout their other goodies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place smell delish and great friendly vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Vegan here. Their vegan options vary by day so I always ask ! My personal favorite is the almond croissant and I always get it when available!! Nonetheless all the vegan options are yummy . The cinnamon roll is very good as well. Not like the soft plush cinnamon roll you're probably used to . It's more of a flaky pastry with so many soft layers and a nice drizzled glaze on top. Service is always quick and easy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store itself is small but it's nice to be able to see all the selection displayed in the front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The vegan options I don't usually see , which is why I always ask!

I love visiting my local Torrance Farmers Market. Exploring the variety of fruit and vegetable stands, along with the various food stalls, is always one of my favorite activities. One standout vendor is Frogs Organic Bakery, known for its fresh-baked goods. One Saturday, I noticed a super long line at Frogs Organic Bakery. Curious about the buzz, I decided to see what all the hype was about. That's when I spotted their enormous croissants, which instantly caught my attention. I made a mental note to come back and try them. Fast forward to the first weekend of 2025! I made my first trip to the Torrance Farmers Market for the year and stopped by the Frogs Organic Bakery stall. The giant croissants were hard to miss, so I decided to try an almond croissant for $6. The large Pistachio Morning Bun also looked tempting, so I picked one up as well, also for $6. Of the two, the Almond Croissant was my favorite. From the first bite, the sweet almond paste inside stole the show. The paste was smooth, sweet, and perfectly balanced. This almond croissant is a winner! The Pistachio Morning Bun, on the other hand, didn't quite meet my expectations. While the generous coating of pistachios on the outside initially drew me in, the flavor was just okay. The bread itself was very airy and light, but it lacked the richness I had hoped for. Overall, I enjoyed trying out Frogs Organic Bakery. If I visit again, I'd definitely grab another Almond Croissant or perhaps try their Strawberry Croissant, which also looked delicious.

    I'm in love with Frogs!

First time today for me at Frogs Organic Bakery at the Certified Farmers Market in Tustin. The 3 beignets were absolutely delicious and the dough is truly amazing. I also picked up a nice baguette and looking forward to eating with dinner tonight.

Both my parents love this place, even telling me that their chocolate croissants are better than the ones in Paris (and they visit France often). I tried it and it was good and paired well with coffee. The regular croissants here definitely look refined and elegant. I'm partial to ham and cheese and theirs was great! Service was friendly.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This cute little bakery is tucked away in the most unseemingly location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But once you find it, you can find a wide selection of pastries. They offer unique flavors like almond, pistachio, ham and cheese, and more. You can also opt to get your croissant filled with flavored cream filling. Service was great and it's a small shop but runs efficiently. I do with the ham and cheese croissants were stuffed a bit more as it seemed to have only a small slice of ham. The almond croissant was flavorful and would get again.

First time visit. I stop by to get my team some pastries. I got there around 7:45am and there were so many options they all looked delicious! I was greeted by a lovely soul named Lisa. She was very positive and friendly (love this early morning). I explained what I was looking for and she made it happened! I didn't realize that this is a location where you can just pick up and order through like a small window/port. Upon arrival there was one person being helped. I had a large order and I saw 2 more people line up after me who started chatting as I turned and informed them I was getting a large order. The folks in line were also friendly saying it's always good to come early because they sell out quickly and the patrons are delicious. My team and I loved the pastries! I will definitely return! The amazing part is the bread doesn't make you feel heavy in fact it's light even when you had a whole croissant! The taste was delicious for the ones I tried. Great service and Food! Definitely worth stopping by! Go early so you can have options.

It's a small shop but there are tons of options and delicious pastries! The cinnamon roll was huge. It had a nice crispiness and sweetness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No indoor seating but there's a couple of outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking can be limited.

A delicious basket of rolls from Frogs that was a huge hit at Thanksgiving.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Frogs has an unassuming location but inside you will find croissant paradise.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My personal favorites are the chocolate and almond croissants but even the plain croissants are an experience. Their breads and rolls are also amazing and we have picked them up to bring to Thanksgiving or other group dinners. They're always a hit. Great service from the helpful cashiers who are always up for answering questions or making recommendations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a few small tables outside but you may want to take your items to go and eat elsewhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The Pastries are delicious, so fresh and tasty. I have tried many of their pastries and never left a review. They need 10 Stars. I got them at the Alhambra Farmers Market the ladies are always so sweet and welcoming. I recommend so much to go get some Pastries. Will visit the actual bakery soon..

Have been wanting to try Frogs bakery for quite some time now and finally made it in this week. It was about 12 minutes before closing time yet they still had a good variety of breads. Lady who took my order was very friendly and helpful which is always appreciated I ended up taking home some almond and chocolate croissants which were delicious, blueberry muffin, some beignets, guava pastry, chocolate cookie, chocolate croissant and of course a loaf of sourdough bread. Family and I enjoyed the pastries and look forward to next time.

On my second and most recent visit, I tried their vanilla and chocolate conchas. I really liked both of these classic flavors. They weren't too sweet, and the conchas were freshly made and still warm when I got them. They pair really well with hot coffee. I haven't tried the coffee here because I usually like eating my concha with black coffee, creamer, and Splenda. I also love dipping my concha in my coffee, so I picked up a hot coffee from McDonald's next door instead. Customer service is good, and the staff have been pleasant both times I've visited. However, during my last visit, only one staff member was working. I went in the morning before work, so it was during the breakfast rush. I had to wait about 10 minutes just to place my order because he was taking orders and preparing the food, and the two people ahead of me had ordered a big box of conchas. It wasn't his fault, and I honestly felt bad that he was working by himself. I hope management makes sure there is enough staff, especially during the busy hours.

Just a teen doing her Job. :) One of my friends ordered the peach mango smoothie, good but a bit water down. Prefer a little more thickness to smoothies. I got the strawberry shake which was super delicious! Highly recommend! My other friend ordered the cookies and cream shake. Everyone seemed to like the cookies and cream the best (I'm not a fan of chocolate so my opinion wouldn't count in this situation lol). The Carmel frappe was good as well. The pan dulces were fresh and very flavorful. This location is off a main street so it's easy to find. There's plenty of free parking. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

I was in Lomita and was looking for a place to grab coffee and pastries. While browsing Yelp, I was…read moresurprised to find out there was a Cream Pan nearby. I've always wanted to try their Orange County location but just never got around to it, so I was excited to finally give them a try. I walked in expecting it to be self-serve like 85 Degrees Bakery, but it's actually set up more like a donut shop or Porto's, where most of the pastries are displayed in a case and you tell the staff what you'd like. They do have a refrigerated self-serve section with sandwiches and onigiri, as well as a table with loaves of bread and buns. The ordering process caught me off guard because I usually like taking my time looking through all the pastries at bakeries. Since everything was behind the counter, I felt a little rushed with people waiting behind me. They have so many options that it can be a bit overwhelming. I also had to stop myself from ordering too much since I'm trying to cut back on carbs. Here's what I ordered: Hot Dog Bun - 4/5: Tasty with a soft, fluffy bun. I just wish it had a little more of that cheesy crust on top. Ham and Cheese Croissant - 3/5: My boyfriend ordered this and thought it was just okay. It was a little small for the price. Strawberry Cream Croissant - 5/5: They're known for this, and now I understand why. The pastry was light and flaky, the strawberries were sweet, and the custard was rich without being overly sweet. Spam Roll Onigiri - 4/5: I loved the egg, and it was really flavorful. It was served a bit cold, though. I think it would taste even better if it were kept under a heat lamp. Raisin Bun - 5/5: So soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of raisins. It was also a great value--six buns for only $4.20. Hot Vanilla Latte - 4/5: Strong with just a light sweetness. It was really good, but I think it could have been a little creamier. The prices were reasonable. I spent about $26 for everything, which I thought was a great deal. Customer service was excellent. Even though there was a line behind me, the staff never made me feel rushed while I decided what I wanted. The barista was especially friendly and even checked in afterward to ask if I liked my latte. If I'm ever back in the area, I would definitely come again.

The service wasn't great and only one drink was good or correct. I'm still not 100% sure one of…read morethem was the correct drink. I ordered 2 drinks through the app yesterday, the Honey Bori Latte (seasonal) and the Banana Milk Latte. The Banana Milk Latte was delicious once everything was mixed well, but the Honey Bori Latte was just bitter and then less bitter when mixed. It was already half melted, there was no salted honey cold foam or Jolly Pong which is supposed to be part of the drink. I got the order to go, so I didn't notice that my drink was wrong until I got home, so I couldn't even get it corrected. I didn't realize the drink was wrong at first. I thought it was just a flavor I didn't like even though I noted that I couldn't taste Barley at all. Then half way throught it, I decided to look at the description on the app to remember what it was supposed to taste like because it tasted like an ordinary flavorless latte. The description said there's barley milk, salted honey cold foam and Jolly Pong. That's when it hit me that I either got the wrong drink or someone didn't make it right because there was no flavor of salted honey and definitely no Jolly Pong in my drink. It didn't even look like I had cold foam topping my drink, but maybe that's because it was melting already. Overall, I was very upset and disappointed with my drink, but was happy my mom's drink was fine. Now this is only a part of why I was dissapointed with yesterday's experience. The other reason was the app and workers. Maybe the workers aren't used to working with the Smoking Tiger app yet? Or maybe the app still needs work, but the drinks I ordered through the app took forever to be marked ready even though my drinks had been ready for some time which was obvious because my Honey Bori Latte was already half mixed because the layers of ingredients were melting into each other. I arrived at the cafe about 5 minutes after ordering, but the app's estimated wait time was another 10 minutes which wasn't a problem for me, especially since I saw a person waiting for his order and some people inside the cafe, although it wasn't full like usual. I just assumed some people ordered before me, so I just have to wait a bit, which again was fine with me especially since I was waiting for my mom to arrive. At some point after the one person waiting for their drink left, I realized the 2 girls at the counter were just talking and not making any drinks. I checked the app and it still said my order was being prepared. After 2 more people ordered their drinks and received them immediately, I went up to the counter, by this point it had been the app's estimated 10 minute wait. I told the girl with glasses my name and showed her the order on my phone. Then she walked toward the fridge and got my drinks, put them in a drink carrier, passed them to me and then turned around while looking at the receipt paper that was with the drinks. That was it. She didn't tell me which drink was which and they were not labeled, so my mom and I just had taste them to figure out which was which. At most places, they let you know which drink is which, so I was just confused with the service I received, especially when the place wasn't busy. And to top it all off, my order was marked completed 10 minutes after I received my order which again just left me in confusion. I usually love this place and was saddened when they got rid of their Choco Mugwort drink, but I'm always looking forward to their seasonal drinks and baked goods. This time though, I don't think I was even able to taste one of their new seasonal drinks because it tasted like a regular latte with milk. I want to try their other current seasonal drinks, but I'm also worried about what I will receive in the future and I'm not ready for another disappointing coffee any time soon.

I continued to yell back at them, explaining that there were absolutely no hash browns in my omelette and I want a refund for the hash browns immediately. I usually go to Oakobing in Ktown, but I'm so happy to have a place this good much closer to home. My husband and I recently stopped by for the injeolmi bingsoo, and it absolutely blew my mind. It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture. It was so good that I'm craving another bowl just thinking about it. *Drools* I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day since we've only visited after dinner, but we've always found plenty of parking. It's the perfect dessert spot to cool off on a hot summer evening, and definitely one I'd recommend if you're in the area.

There is a little history buried inside Noon Korean Bingsoo House. Before Noon, this same…read morestorefront was Oncle's Cafe, a Korean inspired dessert and coffee shop that opened here in 2022. Somewhere along the way Oncle became Noon, the cakes and coffee gave more ground to bingsoo and the place changed enough that I still occasionally catch myself comparing what is there now with what I remember being there before. That may be part of why I have kept coming back. I remember Oncle being one of those easy little places where the service felt unusually attentive. Young guys behind the counter who seemed genuinely engaged, checking on things, keeping the room moving, making the whole experience feel cared for. Noon still occupies the same address and the bones of a good dessert shop are obviously still there, but the experience today feels considerably more transactional. The bingsoo itself is not bad. The machine is doing what it is supposed to do. The ice has that fine, soft, almost snow like texture that separates good Korean bingsoo from somebody simply attacking a block of ice with machinery. The problem, for me, is everything they put on top of it. I have tried enough of the menu at this point that I don't think this is a matter of choosing the wrong flavor. Strawberry, mango, the more elaborate combinations they consistently lean too sweet. Syrups, sauces, creams, fruit. Eventually all that sugar begins flattening the very thing that makes bingsoo so good. The delicacy of the ice itself. Instead of tasting individual ingredients, you start tasting sweetness in several different costumes. That is where Noon loses me compared with the better versions of this dessert. A great bingsoo lets you keep eating because nothing overwhelms anything else. Here, a few spoonfuls in, I'm usually wishing someone had simply stopped adding things. Then there is the experience of going. Parking in this plaza at the wrong hour can turn dessert into a minor logistical exercise. The lot is tight, dinner traffic makes it worse and the alternative is hunting around outside. Once you make it in, seating operates with that awkward first come first served ambiguity where someone who ordered after you can apparently have a table secured while you stand there holding dessert and waiting for another group to leave. The room itself often feels oddly unattended. Tables linger before being cleared. Surfaces can feel sticky. Nobody seems particularly responsible for making the dining room feel reset between customers. When it gets crowded, all of that compounds. People hovering for seats, groups talking over one another, trays sitting around, everyone negotiating the room themselves. None of this makes Noon terrible. That is probably the important distinction. The actual shaved ice is good. Some of the combinations are enjoyable. There are plenty of people who will probably prefer the sweeter style more than I do. And clearly the place has found an audience. Noon's current social presence identifies it as a Gardena bingsoo shop at this same Western Avenue location. I just find myself wondering why I keep making the effort. Maybe some of it is nostalgia for Oncle. Maybe I keep hoping the next visit will recover whatever made the old place feel more personal. But when getting dessert requires fighting for parking, negotiating a table, sitting in a room that feels half managed and then eating bingsoo that is considerably sweeter than I want it to be, there are easier ways to spend an evening.
