A new late night sweets spot! Who doesn't love late night cookies, cookies are made to order, and have tons of options! Love their Peanut Butter options and their Banana Nut cookie! Staff is super friendly and there's tons of parking considering it shares a small plaza with other restaurants. More so meant as a grab and go place, but has some outdoor seating. You might get lucky and meet the owners dogs! read more

Cookie Zombie - Half Dozen Custom Mix - Desserts Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

Make the trip to Redondo Beach; your taste buds will thank you! Warm, fresh cookies from people (I.e. Joe and Tasha) who are passionate about really tasty baked goods - and are open late to accommodate all your late-night cravings! The sweet aroma of sugar and dough wafts through the moment you step through the door. My personal faves are the apple oatmeal caramel and award-winning OMFG. Also, try the Cinna-crunch and tell me that's not the best thing (next to actual Cinnamon Toast Crunch). Never go back to store-bought cookies when you can get Cookie Zombie! read more

I live near Cookie Zombie and take evening walks past it all the time. After countless walks by, I finally decided to give it a try on a Saturday evening. It's tucked away in an out-of-the-way spot in North Redondo, but the good news is there's plenty of parking. It's also close to the bike path if you want to ride over. Just be careful in the evening because the zombies driving around in cars don't always seem to see cyclists very well. I was impressed by the selection. There were probably a dozen different cookies to choose from. I asked the friendly guy at the counter for recommendations, and he pointed me toward a few customer favorites. Next came the wait. It seems they actually bake the cookies fresh rather than pulling them from a display case and tossing them into a box. The wait was probably about 10 minutes. If you're in a hurry, I'd recommend ordering ahead. We took our cookies home and sampled them while watching TV. We cut them in half and put a few pieces in a bowl so we could try several flavors. Yum. These cookies are delicious. And no, these are not the kind of cookies I could easily make at home or replicate with a store-bought log of cookie dough. Cookie Zombie is clearly using quality ingredients and tried-and-true recipes. The result is a seriously good cookie. I'm glad I finally stopped by. And who doesn't love a locally owned and operated small business in the neighborhood? I'm a fan. 5 stars for Cookie Zombie read more

I don't know what I love about this place more; That the cookies are delicious or That they're open till Midnight LOL Seriously these cookies are great. They have over a dozen different cookies to choose from and best of all they bake them fresh!! Thats right they bake them fresh for you when you order. Come on what is better then a fresh baked cookie :) Cookie Zombie also has ice cream and very tasty drinks. I think I would consider them milk shakes. The staff and the owner are all super friendly and tend to toss in extra cookies :) They even deliver to most of the SouthBay. The shop is small but everything is clean & neat and there is plenty of parking in the clean, well lit lot. Again I need to say just how good these fresh baked cookies are. They taste like homemade cookies from when you were a kid. AND you can get them until midnight :) read more

I heard about Cookie Zombie through Yelp. I was invited last year to try them out and my family and I love their cookies. I was recently in town and excited that they were open, because they are usually open in the evenings, late evening evenings. They're located in a residential area, but have business parking and plenty. There are benches and chairs and tables outside to sit and wait for your order. These cookies are baked fresh on the spot. The worker tonight was super friendly and open to answering questions, and I love that she recommended the Apple caramel cookie, I loved it! We also got a bonus cookie with our dozen and she recommended the chocolate raspberry, it was so good! I ordered a dozen and tried their OMFG, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Chip and Apple Oatmeal Caramel. Anytime I am in the area, this will definitely be the spot to stop and grab a dozen before I head home. I highly recommend grabbing some sweet treats if you're nearby. read more

Amazing bake-to-order cookies! Went for an after dinner dessert. Was in a quiet neighborhood in a plaza that was pretty dimly lit. Sort of fits the name of the store. Went in - there's about 15ish types of cookies available. Most sounded pretty good so we ordered a dozen cookies to try a few - they are small, but not bite sized. After about 15 min the cookies were ready and we picked them up. They were piping hot - which makes for an amazing cookie. The worker also threw in a few extra cookies and a milk as well since it was our first time. My favs were the OMFG (basically a little bit of cookie dough with a bunch of chocolate inside), the fig cookie (kind of like a fig newton), the peanut butter cookie (forgot the name of it - but it has like Reese's pieces in it I think), and the chocolate cookie with white chocolate. Would def recommend and will be back soon! read more

C is for Cookie Zombie! It was 10pm and we had serious dessert cravings after dinner, so thank you, Yelpers, for helping us find such an amazing treat. We were pleasantly surprised that the cookies are made fresh to order, they text you when it's ready, usually in about 10-12 minutes. Good thing we live close by, because it was still warm by the time we got home. We all dug in, cookie by cookie. You'll definitely want a glass of milk or coffee alongside, but it's so worth it. The five of us shared a dozen and still couldn't finish them all. I can't pick a favorite, but the peanut M&M, cookies and cream, and funfetti were all excellent. read more

I came here again last night for another sweet tooth fix. This place reminds me on insomnia cookies but of course local, and I love it! They're always so kind when you walk in. I know it's late night and I never feel like I'm being rushed to order. The baker there in an extra cookie in there which thank you so much! I got the apple oatmeal caramel cookie and a funfetti. I loved both of them. Last time I got the red velvet and these new flavors I tried were the best!! read more

A few of my friends and I drove to Cookie Zombie to tryout their cookies. We were told that the cookies were were really good. The business is located in the cut, in a small business strip located in a residential area and a small park. We came on a late Saturday afternoon and it was not busy yet. There was only one person working so it took a bit to place our orders, since the guy went to the back after each order to put the cookies for that order into the oven. There are a few tables and chairs and benches in front of the business to wait for your order. (Inside is only for walking in to order. No seating.) The wait wasn't long and we were rewarded with some freshly baked, hot and delicious cookies! Definitely worth the wait. As you can see from the pictures, the presentation looks good. We sat outside and enjoyed our treats. They also offer drinks, including milk, cold brew coffee and water, Thrifty brand ice cream, and a selection of "merch". They are open late on the weekend. (And a couple of additional employees arrived to likely assist with the evening rush.) Give them a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

Cookie Zombie - They actually drew my initials on the box in scary letters, nice touch! - Desserts Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

For those of you craving something sweet, this is the spot. We received a warm welcome upon entering, and the young lady at the counter was more than happy to answer any questions we had. There's a display showcasing all the cookie flavors so you can see what they look like, and the walls are decorated with menus and a fun lineup of their branded apparel. There are over a dozen flavors to choose from, and the best part -- they're baked fresh to order (literally baked the moment you order). We went with the half-dozen box and tried the Oatmeal Craisin, Pumpkin Harvest, and Abracadabra. The cookies were moist and absolutely decadent. If we had one suggestion, it would be to make the oatmeal cookies a bit crispier and less chewy. The standout for us was definitely the Abracadabra -- rich, moist, and bursting with flavor. The butterscotch just explodes across your taste buds. Almost forgot the extra one I grabbed -- the Uncle Buck, a chewy chocolate chip and walnut combo that was downright delicious. We're already planning a return trip to try more flavors! read more

Cookie Zombie - (from top to bottom) PB x Darth Squish, Cookies & Cream, OMFG, chocolate Raspberry - Desserts Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

I always say there aren't enough good cookie places, so glad to find and enjoy this spot in the south bay. Their cookies are delicious and taste homemade. You can get a half dozen for $15 or a full dozen for $26. My family and I got a half dozen (ordered online through website) where we could select up to 3 flavors. We tried their original chocolate chip, pb x darth squish, and chocolate blueberry. I really enjoyed the chocolate chip and pb cookies. My wife liked the blueberry the most because it wasn't chocolaty at all. It's like a gooey blueberry muffin. I think they also threw in a couple extra because I thought a half dozen would have 6 but there were 7 or 8 in the box. They also write your name in cool lettering on the side of the box which is a nice personalized touch. I would definitely order again and try more flavors or more of the same. Hope you check it out and enjoy! read more

grabbed some quick cookies and it was pretty good. they were nice and fresh, very hot. i didn't really enjoy the chocolate raspberry. i felt the chocolate drizzle on top didn't quite pair well with the chocolate cookie. however, the omfg was pretty cook. simple and classic. they ended up giving us four cookies although our order was 2 cookies which was very kind. service was great. the cookies were a bit too sweet overall for personal preference and could only eat about one bite from each to try them but had to take the rest home. read more

(Edit: I just learned you can order them 12 minutes in advance at cookiezombie.com). They're open until 11pm! I tried two cookies for five dollars, which is not bad, but they were so flavorful that I really only needed a bite to know I'd picked a winner. Crunchy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside. No offense, but the size of the cookies are nothing different than buying a pack of cookies from the store and baking it yourself. Exact same quality but the size is the same however, this business is charging over $2 per cookie. Stop by and see the display on the counter and see the actual size of the cookies, it genuinely feels like a rip off ($26 for a dozen). I'm all for supporting small businesses but when you're going to purchase something that you can do for yourself, you're expecting something better and/or different that you can't do yourself. Buy at your own risk - but there's certainly better options (honestly any option is better) UPDATE: In response to the owner, yes, definitely tried the cookies, how else is one to review in earnest? Math was wrong? Hmm, yes, you gave 13 cookies instead of 12, so $26/13cookies comes to $2 a cookie, if you'd like to debate the value of 17¢ I'm happy to as I do think you're missing the point of the comment. Your prices are egregious for the size and quality you deliver. If you're encouraging your customer base to just bake themselves instead of supporting small business, like yours, then ok buddy, sure, happy to do so and I'd encourage you to reflect on your service and goods - looks like I'm not the only person who feels this way judging by other comments on here and google. Best of luck. read more
