I usually get the beef option and it's perfect with the coconut curry broth, crunchy fried noodles, and fresh veggies all working together so well. I also love dining in because they offer a variety of spice options. There's even a little setup with jars of different chilies and spices so you can adjust the heat to your liking. One of my favorite Thai places in the Southbay and in LA in general. They earned their bib gourmand recognition. Their palo pork stew, Khao soi, roasted duck noodles and curries the star of the show. Each dish had its unique flavors that are balanced and flavorful. All of it has soft meats of your choice. The Thai omelette is surprisingly very good also. Their mango stich rice when in season is divine. The staff is super nice and always very helpful with utensils, condiments and other amenities. We got seated right away and the waitress recommended the koi soi noodle soup so my wife ordered the chicken and I ordered the beef. It's all pre-prepped so everything came out quick. It comes with egg noodles and the flavor tasted like creamy yellow curry w a medium level spice. My wife said it tasted better after she added more chili. I thought it was spicy enough. Everything was really good but I thought they could give more beef. It was just a spoonful and I didn't get full off this. Overall: service was really good. The place was clean. However, theirs didn't stand out; unfortunately, it was actually kind of lackluster. And it wasn't that much of a portion for being $18. The dish didn't even come out that fresh/hot. They didn't give much noodles and seemed to just throw on a bunch of toppings to fill the dish, which even then, the toppings were just okay. For this visit, we ordered the following dishes: Wontons Soup with Wide Rice Noodles: At the first sip of the broth, I was surprised by the flavor. It was clear, light but super savory, and hit your palate like a train and it kept coming. The wide rice noodles were perfectly cooked and slightly al dente. There were generous quantities of tasty and nicely springy texture wontons. And the party kept going with delicious fish cakes, lobster and fish balls in the soup. Khao Soi: This was an opposite dish from clear broth Wonton Soup. The creamy coconut curry sauce was rich and tasty, not too spicy nor sweet. The thin egg noodles were nicely al dente. The chicken pieces were quite tender. The slightly sour pickled veggies and a tad sweet fried onions gave a balancing taste to the sauce. Lastly, the wonton wrap strips provided satisfying crunch to the dish. The prices were reasonable and portions generous. The restaurant is definitely worth repeat visits. read more

Nice Thai food spot tucked into a plaza in Gardena. I feel like there's not too many Thai food restaurants out there, so it was nice to have a cuisine I haven't had in a while. For my drink I had the Thai Iced Tea which was great, perfectly balanced. Someone in my party shared their noodles with me, I'm not sure what the name of the dish was unfortunately. It was a chicken noodle and delicious! I wasn't too hungry today, but I would love to come back and have a bowl all to myself. I also had the mango sticky rice, which had a wonderfully sweet mango. Plus the service was great. When the worker came to take away some bowls, she picked up trash like a water bottle that we brought in and cleaned up any spills on the table. We first started coming here during the pandemic over five years ago even then the food was out of this world as you might be able to tell by my previous reviews. Since then, in 2025 this small, unassuming noodle house has earned a well deserved Michelin rating and opened up a sister store across the breezeway in the quad ( excellent drunken noodles,by the way.) We were here again over the weekend and again, home run in terms of food (outstanding) and service (AAAAA). I cannot stress enough how important supporting these small businesses are... they were on the front lines during the COVID scare and kept us not just fed, but sustained ... think about that. Loved Sweet Rice! I had an order of the Tom Yum Ba Mee and Green Curry Chicken. Both were equally delicious in their own way. Service was friendly. They don't check up on you to see if you need anything else. They have a self serving water and ice station and cups for you to grab. The only minute issue I had was the lack of napkins. This place is right next to my house and I think maybe my expectations were a bit too high cuz I was slightly disappointed. I came w my mom and she got the Thai beef noodle soup. It barely had any noodles and too much meat (according to her) and not enough broth. We contemplated asking for more broth but just decided not to because we were eating inside Bowl Thai and not Sweet Rice. I tried some of the broth and it had a sweet taste which I'm not a fan of. I got tom yum noodle soup. It was okay but it barely had any noodles and it was mostly bean sprouts and like 2 tiny little pieces of meat and the rest fishballs. I expected a little more tbh :/ Broth was yummy though. I also ordered the grilled beef salad from bowl Thai but it took so long I had to take it to-go and even to-go is self serve!!! My favorite thai restaurant for Tom Yum Noodle soup! You order at the front and go have a seat. They have self service water and chilli sauce racks you can take to your table. Your food is served rather quickly. I always get their tom yum noodle, its sooo tangy,sweet,and savory. Whenever they have many sticky mango available,I will order it! My friend and I have dinner at a different Gardena eatery every Friday and today we finally made it here after eating at Thai Hot Pot and Bowl Thai Grill. Food was just amazing! Incredibly flavorful and filling. I ordered the Khao Soi, my friend had the Thai Omelette w/chicken and we shared the Mango Sticky Rice. Oh, and I enjoyed the Dirty Thai Tea. The space is so open, inviting, and colorful. When you walk in you order at the counter and the food will be brought to your table. Staff is friendly and will check on you just to make sure things are okay but you won't ever feel pressured to hurry up. Came here for lunch on a Saturday. The place was pretty busy, with some people dining in and other getting takeout. I ordered the Kao Soi with chicken and also got Khao Kha Moo for takeout. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but the portions were decent and both dishes were full of flavor. The food came out quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. They are most well known for the Khao Soi, which is a thick, creamy coconut curry broth with egg noodles, fresh onions, and pickled mustard greens. There are also crispy noodles on top that give the dish great texture. A squeeze of lime halfway through the bowl awakens the dish for a second wonderful experience. Every component of the dish is harmoniously combined for a perfect balance of savory, sweet, rich, and punchy.  I also got their thai boat noodle soup, which is thickened with blood in the broth.  It was wonderfully spiced, but definitely missed some kick.
