I do understand mistakes happen but to take my birthday dinner and spit on it for the last 30 minutes is not the way to handle their mistakes. They needed more seating so they thought they would ask me and my friend to move to a new table as we had finished the mediocre food and was simply waiting on the birthday cake. The manager said they made a mistake, so I agreed to take the birthday cake to go. But it took another 30 minutes to get the one piece of cake. Then the host comes to ask us to move as if we didn't already say we'll take birthday cake to go then this host leaves out slamming the door. The management sucks. They don't pass the stress test. And to think I chose this place to bring my friends and celebrate me. I learned a lot. They read the email and asked me to send it to GM directly. I attached his response. #WorldCup2026 #theynotready

Had a great time at Eureka's on Friday!!! The smash burger was tender and seasoned well! The lavender tea with a shot of sweetness was delicious! The staff were nice and what made the experience even better was the live dee Jay music from 3-6pm!. You have to pay for parking and there is no validation but it was worth the good time and fun ambiance.

20.5 stars for the service! 3.5 stars for the food. I tried the Mac n cheese balls, fried pickles, and the double smash burger (which was more like two small sliders on a large bun.) The food was okay. Nothing that I tried was awful, but nothing would make me rush to return. If I'm in the area, I'd probably stop by for happy hour to try something else. Btw the mimosa flight and variety of juice flavors was perfect. Casual bar vibes, nice playlist and again, the service was fantastic. Our server Mateo in particular was outstanding! Free parking lot is very small and has the potential to fill up quick. There has to be more parking around, I just didn't see it.

Blink and you'll drive past! Tucked in next to a small airport and next to the big Space X building. This is a great spot to come for happy hour with friends. It is by the airport so expect some loud engine noises and it can get a little loud with everyone talking at once but not the worst. Food is traditional American fare, burgers, sandwiches and salads. I will say I wasn't a fan of the sweet potato fries when I ordered; they were mostly soggy and not salted. They have a lot more variety with their drink menu, which all tasted amazing and deliciously strong. Service was good. Waitress was pretty attentive in making sure we ordered in time for happy hour and friendly enough. Will come back again to enjoy happy hour.

2nd time trying this place. Much better I must say. Food was yummy and light. Service was very slow though. We ordered a salad , appetizer and kids chicken bites. A beer alone took over 10 minutes. Place was not too busy. I did enjoy the view of the planes. Just note that this restaurant is very small.

I've been to this Eureka location several times. It's near my office, so it's usually my go-to spot for lunch meetings or team retreats. It's a tasting menu restaurant, so some items rotate, which is pretty cool. Some of my favorite items to order: Salmon kale salad: I didn't see this on the menu during my recent visit, but I really enjoyed it before. It was tasty and I just wish the salmon portion was a bit bigger. Jalapeño bacon jam burger: I ordered this on my last visit. It was my first time trying a burger here, and I'm glad I did. Super tasty and loved the sweet and salty combo. Sweet potato fries: Crispy, sweet, and delicious. I'm not a fan of the dipping sauce they come with, so I just use ketchup. Mac & cheese balls: Really good. Crispy on the outside with creamy mac and cheese inside. If you're going to order an appetizer, I would suggest this. Truffle fries w/ cheese sauce: Very tasty, and the cheese sauce is great. Last time, I even used it to dip my jalapeño jam burger--so good! I'm not really a fan of their drinks. On my last visit, I ordered the sweet peach iced tea, but it lacked peach flavor. Customer service is hit or miss. During my last visit, it was a miss. Our waitress was friendly, but she only checked on us once.

Eureka! has become my go‑to spot in the Hawthorne/North South Bay area. They've got everything you want in a neighborhood hangout--daily happy hours, a full bar, solid burgers, and a really good beer menu. The crowd is always diverse and the vibe stays easygoing no matter when you go. I've been here numerous times, and it's consistently reliable. Whether you're grabbing a drink after work, meeting friends, watching the game, or just want a laid‑back place with good food and better energy, Eureka! always delivers.

This place has a really unique vibe. At first, it almost feels like it's only for people using the Hawthorne Municipal Airport, not like your typical restaurant open to the general public--even though it is. Once you're seated, you get a great view of the runway, with small planes and helicopters right behind you, which makes the whole experience feel different in a good way. The crowd was also interesting--despite the menu being more casual (burgers, wings, salads, fish & chips, etc.), the clientele felt very upscale. It's the kind of place where you see well-dressed people, pilots, or folks who look like they fly private. Meanwhile, I showed up in shorts and sandals after a Target run, which made the contrast kind of funny. Now, the food--honestly excellent. I had a burger, truffle fries, and Brussels sprouts, and everything was a solid 9/10. Really flavorful and well done. The service was also great--attentive, friendly, and nothing to complain about. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. It feels like you're dining at an airport without the chaos--more relaxed, with a cool atmosphere and surprisingly really good food at reasonable prices. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Parking can be hard to find so prepare accordingly. The food is very good but very expensive. Portions are small due to inflation. The service is very good and the waitress actually smiles. The ambiance or atmosphere is pretty cool since you're next to an airport. Most of the people that dine there are from Space X across the street. Enjoy.

My husband and I go to place every time we carve burger and steak and we don't want to drive da. It's very convenient! A literally 2 min drive from our house. Food is great! We love it

Ambiance: it's a bar restaurant located in the corner sport, close to freeway and near space x, spacious dining room inside, comfortable sofa seats, they have outdoor patio seating as well, the establishment is partially under construction, and you have to go outside to use the mobile restrooms Service: friendly but so slow, they're understaffed, it took a long wait to place the order, waiter forgot to serve plates, food was served fairly fast after ordering, but unfortunately another long wait to get the bill in the end Food & Drink: their menu has plenty of bar food options Ahi Poke Stack - **** black rice, soy sauce, guacamole, firecracker aioli, furikake, green onion, Fresno chiles, sesame ginger vinaigrette, served with wonton chips, undercooked rice, overall taste was good, still recommend 28 Day Dry-Aged Bone Marrow - **** bone marrow shiitake butter, grilled onion, horseradish mustard aioli, roasted tomato, patty cooked medium, charcoal flavors, recommend Signature Fries - ** taste old and too soggy Orange Wheat Beer - **** citrus taste, recommend Palmera Pilsner - *** average One For Good Measure - *** strong Pfeiffer's Famous Lager - *** light Price: moderate portions and decent quality, expect $30~$35 per person for food and drink

Happy hour was a good deal! Staff was friendly. I liked the atmosphere, hoping to see more planes take off and land but i probably needed to come at a different time for that.

Been there many times over the years. Their menu has expanded and changed. Today I got the Fresno Fig burger. It was delicious. I had the lavender ice tea, also good. I guess I will have to make that my new drink since their charcoal lemonade is no longer on the menu. Their onion rings were fried perfectly. Please bring back the following items on the menu: Charcoal lemonade Poke salad Our server,Mia, was nice and friendly. Good place to chill and watch planes flying overhead

Americana with Mac and cheese balls. Bison cheeseburger with fries.

Upon walking in, you'll find a relatively open space with tons of seating. Jade did his thing with his customer service. Other than myself, he had 2 additional tables with other solo diners, and a large party occupying a long table in to watch the World Cup. After being seated, he gave a quick and thorough run through of the menu. He also put me onto the lunch special. For $12.99 you can get 5 juicy wings with a flavor of your choice, a roll, coleslaw, your choice of regular or waffle fries, and a soda. At face value, it doesn't sound like a lot of food - but the wings are a good size and the serving size for fries is mad generous. The chicken had a crunchy exterior and was super juicy & tender on the inside. I got the waffle fries cause Jade mentioned they crisp'd up better, which ended up being a spot on recommendation. I''m looking forward to my future visits so I can try the spicier flavors.

Waiters kept checking on us. Got the mild Buffalo Wings for $14 and Parmesan Fries for $6. The wings were good. The Parmesan Fries were really good, they didn't skimped on the Parmesan. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

Would I say they have the best prime rib around? No. But it is pretty damn satisfying. When here, I always order the Franciscan cut Prime Rib cooked to medium (it's 3/4 pounds), house salad with ranch dressing, and steak fries. They throw in a loaf of sourdough bread with whipped butter. The prime rib is very tender and has plenty of fat. We all know fat equals flavor. The only thing I would change about it, and I keep forgetting to ask the server each time I'm here, is to have it served without the au jus already in the plate. Don't get me wrong. The au jus is fantastic, but when the prime rib is served in a pool of it, the meat becomes soggy. Served separately, I think the prime rib would be even better. In addition to the prime rib, the salad and steak fries are incredibly delicious. The salad is nothing fancy, but very tasty due to the ranch dressing it comes with. Wish I knew the recipe of the dressing. The steak fries pair perfectly with the prime rib. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The only thing I would say is pretty average is the sourdough bread. Although it comes out warm, I don't get the sense that they're freshly baked. The service here is phenomenal. The servers are attentive, polite, and efficient. Can't ask for anything more from them. If you're looking for a trendy spot with contemporary decor and pretentious vibes, this place is not for you. This is an old school steakhouse with red upholstered booths and soft music playing in the background. If you live in the South Bay, and you're looking for a classic prime rib experience, this is a place you should check out.
