This place is always packed to the gills. I figured it had to be good. We came at a good time, when it wasn't too busy. It was a Tuesday, so it was Taco Tuesday, of course. They have a good selection of beers. The seating is packed, but it's fun and festive. We got the 15 minute wings. I have to say, they were just okay. For the price, I'm not sure they are worth it. The sauce is a little sweet, and no one at my table thought it was as amazing as they claim. Don't get me wrong, they have good crunch and all that, but they end up being almost $3.00 a wing. I got the simmzys burger that's kinda like a smash burger. I didn't love the texture of the meat. I don't know what grind they are using, but it felt like a cheaper grind. It had some bits that were chewy. My husband had the other burger and he thought the same. Didn't love the meat. The fries are thin and you can mix with sweet potato fries which is fun. The tostada was a great deal for the price. I liked the place. I just wasn't blown away. They do a good job. But I've had better wings and burgers. Worth a try. I'd come again and order differently.

The service was great and was impressed by the food will be going back soon. The wings were recommended and was definitely worth the wait.

Came here for drinks with my brothers. I had wine, and they tried the Moscow mule, which was a bit disappointing--there wasn't much flavor, and they were expecting more. We only had one drink before leaving. The service was fast, and the ambiance was nice. This place is always busy, but it's still a good spot for a quick bite or a casual stop.

Stopped in to get out happy hour pizza and to our surprise they do not service it. Very small compared to Long Beach and the happy hour menu had items I didn't fancy. I also noticed this location does not offer full bar. Large open view and surround by many other restaurants. If you're seeking low foot traffic with chill vibes.. this is the place: if you'd like full serviced bar, expanded HR menu and view of 2nd street go to LB!

TLDR: Great atmosphere, ocean views and fresh air. Friendly service, mediocre food. Lorraine was a friendly face that greeted us when we walked up to the restaurant when I was busy Wednesday evening. Kids were still running around in Halloween costumes, the Dodgers vs. Blue Jays World Series game was on and there was a really good vibe. The we ordered some wings to get started which were piping hot (temperature-wise) but the flavor was sort of bland. Neither sweet nor spicy. Texture was good, nice crispy outside and moist inside. But there were only six. I ordered the Bacon Blue burger with mixed sweet potato and regular fries. The burger was decent. Good flavor. But I ordered it medium and it came out Medium Well. Not too big of a deal but just a little drier than I preferred. The best part was seeing the beautiful Manhattan Beach sunset in the distance, feeling the crisp (for the area) fall air and enjoying the vibe. Service 8/10 Location 9/10 Food 6.5/10 Would I come back?... absolutely!

Simmzy's is a fun place. It's also in a fun place that I happened to really enjoy during our trip to California; Manhattan Beach. We happened by and had actually started out with plans on having dinner somewhere different, but we ended up here and it was a nice experience. The edge here is that it has a beachfront brewery vibe to it but in a nice compact space tucked along the side of the main drag headed down towards the water. I also enjoyed the selection of beers that they had available, although it was IPA heavy, although that seems to be everywhere anymore, being nearly impossible to find a nice clean lagered brew of almost any type anywhere. The menu was everything you would expect from a place with a fresh and interesting offering and the staff was fun and upbeat. As you may know by now if you have read any of my other reviews, when the menu has many choices that all sound good, I have a bit of a hard time making a final decision. But the gentleman behind the bar that was helping our table was fully engaged in making our meal a success. The sandwich I had was pretty good although I was jealous of Hayley's poke bowl as it looked really great. Everyone else had nachos as usual and fries. Where Simmzy's really seemed to excel was that they really didn't shine in any one particular way, but they didn't flounder in any way at all either. It's one of those places that just feels good to go to, I feel this would be especially true if you live nearby. Being able to stop in for a lunch or dinner or any small meal in between and have all the common favorites with interesting things thrown in every once in a while. If we happen to have the opportunity to take another trip back to Manhattan Beach in the future, I am positive that we will likely stop at Simmzy's again and I will be looking forward to it.

The food was delicious. We ordered the garlic seasoned fries, goat cheese salad, 15 minute wings. My favorite was the wings. I could eat two orders by myself! But we shared our wings, salad, and fries. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The ambiance was loud and lively. The seating was a bit tight but the service staff and guests navigated the aisles with some close calls with derrières and field of views. But no one seemed to mind. Overall I would definitely return. There are burgers that looked fantastic on nearby tables.

Really nice spot in Manhattan Beach. We street parked which wasn't too hard to get a couple blocks away on a holiday Tuesday. It was taco Tuesday so we got Baja fish tacos which were my favorite thing there. Ahi tostada was also flavorful and crispy. We got the salmon sandwich which they graciously split for us into two plates and the mixed bag fries (sweet lotto and thin crispy potato) were delicious. Nice and attentive service. Pretty small spot but had a nice outdoor patio. Definitely would recommend this place for a good spot in downtown Manhattan Beach!

I picked up my large order, few simmzy's burger well done, but it was all pink inside. Very disappointing, this happened to me before. The tacos, salad, and kids food was OK. I don't think I will go back.

Stopped in here for the first time and really enjoyed it! Came in around dinner time, and it was packed. Definitely recommend making a reservation if possible. The inside is very small but a great beach bar vibe! Good music playing and plenty of TVs throughout to catch the game. Our food was delicious! Ordered the California Chicken Sandwich w/ the half garlic fries and half sweet potato fries. So good! We also got an order of the 15 Minute Wings and those were very good and big. Would recommend those for sure! Drink wise, the Beach Cruiser Blonde is fantastic. A very good beer! The only negative of our experience was the space/seating. You're right on top of the other tables, almost uncomfortably. Other than that, very happy we stopped in and would definitely come back again!

So the wife and I were craving a new spot last weekend and came across this place on yelp. It was pretty busy but we were able to find a table. It was pretty loud and crowded on a Sunday afternoon but the menu looked good. Our waiter was nice enough to help with beer suggestions. For starters we got the 15 min wings (but worth the wait) for an appetizer and those were nice and crunchy. We also got the sweet and spicy crispy cauliflower appetizer which was delicious. For our entrees we spilt the little gem salad with a piece of salmon. They were nice enough to let us split the plate since we had a big amount of appetizers. We hope to go back and try the burgers and cocktails next time. Salad and salmon were so good I forgot to take a picture.

It's Simmzy's! They make a great burger. Took a friend to downtown Manhattan Beach to watch the sunset and then we grabbed some sandwiches at Simmzy's. Our server was good and gave great recommendations. The location is great for people watching in MB. Relaxing and fun time.

Simmzy's in Manhattan Beach delivered an excellent dining experience. Perfectly located in downtown near the pier, the restaurant has a lively yet comfortable beachside atmosphere that works well for families and casual dining. The service was fast and efficient, and the entire staff from the manager to our server who was friendly, attentive, and professional. Everything we ordered was well prepared: the kids' grilled cheese with fries was simple and satisfying, the Simmzy's nachos were flavorful and great for sharing, the crispy crunchy vegan salad bowl was fresh and well balanced, and the Lil' Simmzy's burger was juicy and delicious. Overall, great food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment. Highly recommend if you're in Manhattan Beach. we'll definitely be back.

GIve me a break. JUST SAY that The Rockefeller isn't dog-friendly and be done with it, ok? By the way, this incident WAS on Mother's Day 2026, so the staff was particularly overwhelmed. . . so there's that timing. On a previous time my husband and I had brunch here about 4-5 months ago, we DID take our little doggie without any issue. So the staff either has to get their stories straight for next time or just say that The Rockefeller IS dog-friendly, BUT ONLY for a two- or one-person party. Other than that, The Rockefeller's Chilaquiles are phenomenal. It was flavorful and filling. Also, the Bacon & Eggs (two eggs, any style) -- which I had my eggs over-easy -- were outstanding. Bottom-line: Don't bring your dog. It's just too complicated for The Rockefeller to handle. Leave your dog at home.

We started with cocktails, and of course prepared by our favorite bartender / cocktail specialist extraordinaire, Clark. Off Your Head (Bloody Mary) and Ophella's White Sangria. Both were very tasty! Tin Roof has an excellent cocktail program as does their Simmzy's locations. We started out with Brussel Sprouts. Definitely a hit with the whole table. Tin Roof definitely has the best around, flavorful with a nice crunch, never soggy! We all ordered a variery of starters for our first course. Several had Ceasar Salads. Several had the Watermelon and Feta Salad. One had the Bloddy Mary Deviled Eggs, and another had the Fig; Pistashio, and Cottage Cheese Toast. Everyone loved what they ordered. We were full before our next courses arrived! Our server was Malcolm. He was very attentive even though it was an extremely busy afternoon since it was Father's Day. He was very helpful explaining some of the options only offered on today's menu. They offered a Bistro Burger (five out of six of us ordered!) and I wanted to know how different this burger was from their Simmzy's Burger (my personal favorite). He was spot on, explained it was smokey in flavor and quite different with the pretzel bun. It was so.good, served with fries (best shoestring fries!), onion rings, and piled so high you had to use a fork and knife to eat it! We left beyond full! Definitely we will be back soon!

The food is solid. It's as tasty and well put together as I remember it to be. We started with the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits. I think these have been here since day one. They're FULL of lovely smoky bacon pieces and are at least 4" round! It's a pretty hearty appetizer. We quickly moved on to dinner, here's what the table ordered: Lobster & Sweet Corn Risotto - the risotto was cooked perfectly. Be sure to mix that poblano pepper butter in the middle up, it adds a great smoky chili flavor to each bite. My oinly complaint about this dish is that they used claw meat. I'm just not a fan of lobster claw, it's too gelatinously rubbery for me. Skirt Steak - Oooo, this was medium rare to perfection. The smoked paprika chimichurri gave a burst of flavor and a mild heat at the back of my throat. Chilean Sea Bass - Chilean sea bass always cuts like buttah! 2 people ordered this at our table and I'm pretty sure they loved it, that side of the table was pretty silent for 15 - 20 mins. Pork Porterhouse - This dish had the most flavor. The spaetzle was cooked and browned on the griddle, it had a fantastic crispy crust. It was a little on the salty side BUT I think 's because it needed more carbs to tame the salt. For me, it would have been PERFECT with a little rice or mashed potatoes or creamed sunchokes. Parking still sucks in MB but right behind the restaurant is a parking garage that's free after 6 pm.

My wife ordered one of the cocktails from the regular menu, but instead of the vodka it normally comes with, she asked if it could be made with tequila. The bartender said that was possible and began listing different tequilas. My wife chose one, but at no point were we told that the tequila she selected carried a significant additional cost. When we received the bill, it was around $85, which completely caught us off guard. After asking about it, the bartender explained that the tequila she chose was a $50 pour. Had we known that beforehand, we absolutely would have chosen something else. We honestly expected our bill to be somewhere around $50 for the evening. We paid the bill in full and still left a $15 tip because the issue wasn't about refusing to pay. My concern is simply that there was no mention of the price before the drink was made. I feel that when a substitution changes the cost of a drink so dramatically, customers should be informed so they can make an informed decision. I'm not writing this to complain for the sake of complaining. I just wanted to share my experience because I think a simple heads-up from the bartender would have prevented an awkward surprise at the end of an otherwise enjoyable evening.
