It was my first time here, came in after a walk on the beach. They have late night happy hour 8pm-close Monday-Friday. I went with the Tropical Mule, I loved it. The service was great and fast. The ambience is really nice, I look forward to coming back to try more food and drinks.

Their menu has so much variety: from pastas, to sandwiches and burgers, salads, sushi and even chicken pot pie. And honestly everything was delicious. Service was a little slow but that may have been because we were a larger group. The rigatoni alla vodka was also spicy which I wasn't expecting but was still really good.

Casual spot close to the beach with eclectic food offerings. Came here for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday on a weeknight and made a reservation online in advance. The booth they sat us in for 6 was more on the cozy side, but it was a chill vibe and a nice ocean breeze coming in. I had the rotisserie chicken while my boyfriend had the Fuchs office burger. Both came with fries and were decently portioned. I was hungry but still had some leftovers. We ended the meal with a hit fudge sundae, and that is something that's easily shareable (it was so big!). Metered street parking on a steep incline was available.

I came here for Dine LA but because I was early, I couldnt get the dinner so I ordered other things from the menu. I got the spinach dip, lamb tacos, fries and a rose spritzer. First off, the appetizers and mains were a bit overpriced. The spinach dip was $18 and the (2) lamb tacos with mixed greens dressed only in a vinaigrette was $28. The rose spritzer was $8 and fries were $8. I spent $67 for these items. The lamb tacos had mostly fat pieces and was half full. The salad did not have any toppings just light dressing. The fries were a bit salty. All in all, a very pretty place and the ambiance was nice , staff were pleasant l, the bartender was friendly but the overpriced food was a downer.

Since they renovated, Brewco has been one of my favorite spots in downtown. The shishito peppers, French fries, and cocktails are all delicious ! The affogato martini is fantastic as well. The ambiance is quite nice; and not too formal or casual. The service is also very attentive.

Good for happy hour ! $10 apps The artichoke dip was very spicy but it wasn't described as so on the menu. Spicy tuna roll was refreshing but not very spicy! Service was a little slow but still friendly. Cute inside!

What a fun, upscale bar in Manhattan Beach! We had the Chicken Chipotle Pasta, which was hearty, filling and quite loaded up. We also had the Japanese BBQ Burger with fries and a side salad. I was quite into the BBQ sauce and we wolfed it all down pretty quickly. The bartender was efficient and jovial, which we appreciated. We came in for a quick bite while exploring the city, so we can't speak to the drinks. Seems this place attracts locals as regulars, which says a lot to me. Restrooms are clean and tidy, but they are unisex so there may be a wait. Parking is available in nearby lots or on the street - don't forget to pay the meter.

Service was great! Our table's waitress was very polite and made sure our food got out to us in a timely manner! Cleanliness on point!! And the bathroom?! GORGEOUS! The setting is literally something out of a sitcom show or movie. Me and my friends decided to go here and enjoy this amazing happy hour after having a lovely day out on the beach and I can say this was a WONDERFUL choice! And I will actually be back very soon because those chicken wings?! Simply delicious to the point that I ate them in silence LOL **that's how you know the food is CHEF'S KISS**

Came back here this past Sunday since Manhattan Beach was having their snow festival with ice slides and snow play and fireworks for the kids. Everywhere was busy and we were lucky enough to get a seat. We were served quickly and our server was very attentive. There was a lot of people at the bar and standing around tables, the restaurant was very accommodating to large parties, even those that didn't have a place to sit. We ordered onion rings, which is always good. It was nice and crispy. Kids had a cheeseburger, which they ate it all. Hubby ordered Fuchs office burger again, which he really liked. I tried a Mary's Chinese chicken salad., they give you quite a bit of salad, my only problem was that they don't give you that much chicken. You are literally poking around for chicken so you can have it in a bite. Dressing tasted good and veggies were fresh. If they added more chicken, it would be a much better salad. Server came to check us out quickly so we wouldn't miss the fireworks.

Very cute restaurant and a perfect dining experience when the weather is nice. We sat by the window which was open with a nice breeze and a perfect view of the ocean. The establishment was nice and clean and the service was good (I love the decor in the bathrooms). Everyone was friendly and I want to give a shoutout to Dylan... he was amazing and very accommodating (I changed my order 3 times sorry Dylan! :) I ordered the green goddess salad, it was very tasty and refreshing on this nice summer day. It was loaded with jicama, grilled corn, avocado and cherry tomatoes. They do have an option to add protein as well. Everyone I dined with enjoyed their food, although they did say the French fries were super crispy and over cooked. Not sure if this is how they normally cook their fries, but If you want it less crispy I would recommend stating that at the time of placing your order. Overall, great place to dine. I look forward to dining here again in the future!

$10 Happy Hour cocktails, small bites, and a breathtaking sunset view! Brewco Social is minutes from the pier. If you go during happy hour, you can get a glimpse of a gorgeous sunset and enjoy delicious, cocktails, and light bites. We got their: Housemade Pão de Queijo Fuch's Office Burger Hamachi roll Steak Frites Churro Bites Spritz Social Mango Aperol Sour Their pão de queijo came out warm and fresh, and it was so cheesy. I loved their hamachi roll that was light and refreshing, which paired great with their fruity cocktails. Their steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, and the skinny fries were so crisp. The burger we got came with Gruyère and blue cheese, arugula, bacon, and caramelized onions with a garlic aïoli, and every single bite was so good. Their happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM and Saturdays 9 PM to close. They have a lot of great deals all for $10 including their sushi rolls and chicken wings, along with some cocktails and wines. Street parking can definitely be a struggle here so I do recommend coming early to do a bit of shopping before you eat. highly recommend stopping.

It can get pretty pricey depending on what you order, but everything we had was delicious. We ordered the crab cake that our server highly recommended, a 1/2 dozen fresh oysters, and the Tomahawk steak -- all were excellent. Our reservation wasn't until 8:30, so we hung out downstairs for about an hour first. Met a lot of people who were clearly locals and regulars, which always says a lot about a spot. Once we sat down for dinner, we ordered a few things. The bluefin tostadas are a must if you're into seafood. We also had the scallops delicious doesn't even do them justice, just wish there was more than one . My hubby ordered the lamb, which was probably our least favorite since it was a bit dry. The rigatoni though? Unbelievably good. Honestly, I'd come back and order the exact same items minus the lamb lol. Shoutout to Griffin for keeping us going all night . And the buttermilk bread? So good I almost cried. Parking is pretty easy, but definitely come early on a nice day. There are a couple of metered lots nearby with up to 5-hour parking. Server Álvaro is an actual SAINT at Saint & Second!…read more I want to start by clarifying that I went to S&S yesterday afternoon ready to cry major boo-hoo tears to my two besties, without much of an appetite. Instead, I ended up with a full belly and side cramps from laughing along with our awesome server, Alvaro. The Man. The Myth. The Legend that he is! Small Backstory: Last Friday I lost my job of almost 25 years in public education due to a complicated work accident (my back was broken & I now have screws in my spine) and I planned to whine to my best friends into a cocktail or two, and get out plenty of Kim Kardashian ugly-cry faces until it would be time to go home. Enter ALVARO! This kind man had the nerve to be polite to us! The nerve! LOL. He greeted us with a warm smile while my cold heart was practically making it snow. He explained all portions of the breathtaking menu when I had planed to eat my sadness. He even had the GALL to say if we wanted something not on the menu that he would see what he could do to make it happen! Here I was, ready to drink Unicorn Tears, and he was cheering me up! WHAT THE??! LOL The three is us started with the MEZZE PLATE. And OH LORD! I think we ate the print off of the plates while trying to get to the last crumb. We polished off a whole extra serving of cucumber slices in the process, by the way, and I'm not embarrassed to say that. The Turkish honey-sweetened labne was such a party in our mouths! Make of that what you will. Each of us got a dinner entre, with mine being the S&S Fish and Chips. I loved that the fillet was not overly battered and the chips had an almost double-Belgium fried taste going on. I couldn't help but swipe several spoons worth of aged-cheddar grits off a friend's seared pork chop plate. Now THOSE were some butter-heaven sent grits! My drink, that kept shooting partially through my nostrils from laughter, was a classic margarita on the rocks. No margaritas were injured/harmed in the process of my belly laughter. At some point towards the end of our night, a patron of the mall next door pulled the site-wide fire alarm, ringing through the whole location for everyone to use caution and head to the closest exit. If you grew up like my friends and I, you don't follow that suggestion unless you're trying to run out on the bill like a jerk. Bless be to Alvaro, he stopped by our table several times to apologize about the noise and flashing lights and explained the fire department was working on it. I explained that the Hood Cricket sound didn't bother us and we were happy to wait out the alarm. So not only did Alvaro provide us with excellent service, an outstanding meal, and generous smiles, but he also made sure that we felt SEEN. And THAT is what made the whole evening worth it. No sadness or cringey tears about a lost job were needed. It ends up all we needed was a server named Alvaro at Saint & Second to make my spirits feel high again. Pricing is a bit high but was totally worth it! Patrons were dressed business casual. Sound level, not counting the hood cricket, was mid and conversation was easy to have. Several televisions were playing different stations but no captions were provided. There is handicap parking available in the parking garage located just outside the front door of the establishment and no stairs or elevators are needed to enter. There are several entrances/exits to the available outdoor seating area and outdoor heaters are available. Glances around showed me that every patron I saw was tucking into their plates with smiles and were enjoying themselves. I have already made plans to return to S&S in another two weeks because it was indeed THAT GOOD! And for those fine diners that are wondering, "But what is a Hood Cricket?" An HC is a chirping fire-alarm that some of us are able to tune out with ease. You're welcome!

The Caesar isn't an afterthought either. It's got a subtle spicy kick that wakes everything up, and if you add chicken, it's done right--well-seasoned, nicely grilled, juicy with a bit of char. It turns a classic into something you actually remember. Dinner is where things go a little heartier, and the pork chop delivers. Fall-off-the-bone tender, but still full of flavor--not just soft for the sake of it. Jame just gets the fundamentals right, then pushes a little further. Thoughtful, textured, and the kind of place where even the chew of the pasta becomes part of the experience.

I visited this restaurant yesterday with family during lunch. The food here was very good…read more The meatballs I had as an appetizer were light, not dense. The sauce was well balanced and wispy. I usually don't like olives, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the olives here. I think it had to do with the fact that these olives were marinated, not brined. I don't like briny stuff. The Tonnarelli was the highlight of the meal. The sauce was thick and creamy, and coated the pasta nicely. The pasta was cooked al dente, making it perfectly firm and chewy. For my drink, I had the Light and Stormy mocktail which had lemon, ginger, lime, and mint in it. It was slightly carbonated and tasted like a really good virgin mojito. I would say the service here was good, not great. It took like 10 minutes for a server to come to us after we were seated to take our order. However, our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu items. Parking here was tricky. There were lots of reserved parking spaces on the lot for specific businesses. You may get lucky finding an open parking spot on site, but we had to drive around to find one. This place is a nice spot for family gatherings. I think we will be back soon to try out more items from the menu.
