Always a great choice for brunch, lunch or dinner and cocktails. We have been to many different locations and this Manhattan Beach restaurant is small but nice enough. The dinning room has some comfortable seating. There are a few tables outside on the sidewalk. The bar is very tiny, and there is only one restroom available for customers. There is adequate street parking and public parking close by. The menu is extensive. The wait staff is friendly and the food choices, quality and presentation are first rate. Those of us who wanted brunch enjoyed the Chilaquiles, Sancho Breakfast Burrito, and Two Eggs Any Style with bacon. The Chilaquiles was good but nothing special. The Sancho breakfast burrito is filled with braised short rib, over-easy eggs, applewood bacon, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, sriracha, and hashbrowns. It is a nice change of pace for a breakfast burrito. We also had the consistently yummy sweet potato bombs which have a unique curry flavor and a fan favorite Rocke salad which is highlighted with strawberries, gorgonzola and toasted almonds. They do offer bottomless mimosas, and have a full cocktail and espresso bar.

I'll keep this review short and sweet, the food and service here was amazing! My wife and I enjoyed the food and appreciated the service we received here. Good thing we don't live too far away from here as we'll definitely stop by more often.

We had a nice meal here last night - stopped in after the beautiful sunset and were looking for a place that had good food and an open air seating arrangement. They had some yummy cocktails - particularly enjoyed "The Obvious Choice". Bartenders/manager was on point. We also got some burgers and tacos...really well made and super tasty. My only gripe was the server - he was a little aloof - he seemed like he was trying to be "cool"...it took him around while to come check on us and it just didn't seem like he knew what was going on. As an example, the burgers don't come with fries...he didn't really check to see if that might be something we might like. Regardless, food was good and I'd go again to see if it was just a bad night...

Stopped by this place on a Tuesday to try their 2$ burger special. Burger was good but you have to buy a beverage in order to get the deal. Beverage was 6$. The service was attentive and I was able to sit outside to enjoy my food.

Ended up here because the pancake place had an 1+ hour wait. What a happy accident. I wanted Eggs Benedict (which the other spot didn't have) and was shocked at how good this was. Wifey got her pancakes and kiddo ate her whole plate. Win all the way across. Gotta come back to try their $2 Tuesday Burgers next!

First time going to The Rockerfeller in Manhattan Beach. Cool little spot, it's cozy and has a beach vibe to it. I loved how the floos to ceiling windows slid open, creating an I doors vibe but with a patio feel to it. Food: The food was good. Nothing really stood out, and we didn't get one of those wow factors. It was pretty avaerage, but none the less it was good. We tried a few options to see what they had to offer. We ordered off the happy hour menu and main menu. We chose to try the happy hour menu first. Truffle Mac 'n cheese - which was good, but you only got a couple of bites' worth. It's not really worth it for happy hour prices. Rockerfeller Mess - it was pretty good it's french fries with guacamole, house sauce, and fresh toppings. It was good, and you get a good portion. Easily feeds 2 people. Zucchini Fries - you get 5 spears, which are good and lightly fried, but they lacked flavor. We added a slight dash of salt, and it made all the difference. Comes with ranch dip. Salas & Chips - this was also good. The Salas had a smokey flavor, which I loved. And you get a good size portion safe choice. Main Menu: Santa Fe Egg Rolls - you get 3 egg rolls cut in half. These were good with plenty of flavor, and the size of each one was large. The fried wrap was light and crispy, and the tated fresh. It comes with ranch dip, which I felt like a spicy ranch or Chipotle sauce would compliment it better. Ahi Womton Nachos - these were my favorite. You got a large plate of these, and the flavor and toppings were on point. The wonton chips are so good and lightly fried. The ahi was fresh and covered almost every wonton. Great choice for groups and personal. So good. Cabo Shrimp Tacos - this comes with 3 tacos and black beans. This was a great choice as well, super fresh and good size tacos. The flavor was great. They also have a great beer and wine selection. Service: Staff was amazing and friendly. Only had on server the he was killing it with all tables. He checked on us throughout our time there and provided good feedback on the menu. Thanks, Atmosphere: It's a beach vibe restaurant, and it's a really cool spot to chill and have a good time with friends and family. It's small but decorated nicely, and it makes you want to hang out, so I love it. They have 2 televisions, and they are more than happy to change the tv to your liking. Great place to go and enjoy some free time. Price: The prices are good overall. They did have some items on the happy hour that seemed a little high for what you got. However, the prices are still fair and reasonable. Nothing too expensive. Location: It's located in Manhattan Beach off Highland Avenue and 12th Pl. Right in the corner. Parking is tight, so make sure you're okay with walking a couple of blocks. But it's a short walk from any direction, and the street parking is paid meters. Just a heads up.

BBQ chicken flatbread

A nice chill place for casual American fare. Been here as well as their other locations in RB and HB and they're all pretty similar, in terms of vibe, food and service. Having to say they're always consistently decent. A good menu of drink options and the usual starters you'd find on a menu...brussels sprouts, wings, flatbread/pizzas, fries, guac and chips. Usually busy on the weekends if you're looking for a lively place but pretty bare on the weekday evenings if you're looking for some quiet chill dining.

Tacos Braised Short Rib

Came here on a weekday dinner and it was a short time to be seated. It took a while to get service throughout the dinner and grab the check. The staff was really nice though. The tables were kind of close together and one of the people at the table could not move much. We got the roast veggie flatbread, the seared ahi tacos, and the braised short rib tacos. The veggie flatbread was not evenly spread. The middle sections were the pieces with enough toppings and cheese. The braised tacos and seared ahi were the opposite. The seared ahi had a lot of toppings that I could not even taste the tuna that much. While the braised short rib tacos was so much meat and not enough toppings. The flavoring was on-point though!

Once you're done stressing over where to park, come on in and unwind in this super laid back restaurant where everything just feels easy. We grabbed a table for 4 by the window, adjacent to their outdoor sidewalk seating. Because it's Manhattan Beach, there are ocean breezes galore, even on the hottest of days. The whole operation breathes. They don't serve hard liquor but they make up for it with a beefy selection of wines and beers. My frosty IPA paired well with the ROCKEFELLER MESS - a sinister take on nachos that sports radishes, red onions and a smidge of some seriously spicy peppers and features french fries and a groovy sauce. The four of us smashed this. Couple of our tablemates ordered THE GRILLED FISH TACOS. They dug them. Wifey had the CABO SHRIMP TACOS complete with it's bowl'a BLACK BEANS. Dynamite. I threw down with the crunchy good BATTERED FISH TACOS and side salad. Loved 'em! Dessert was a no-brainer; BREAD PUDDING. It split 4 ways handily. I can however imagine being stoned and mowing an entire one myself, FWIW. bric-a-brac: it's pet-friendly they have a nice happy hour MO-FR 3-6P they have large screen tvs inside with sports action (*this does not include badminton or disc golf) So, a happy experience from beginning to end. Suffice to say, they know how to rock a feller. Wifey: "Why'd you have to ruin this decent review with a stupid dad joke?!" She's not wrong.

Lance C.

The location is nice. This was my first time here. I tried fish and chips. The egg rolls were delicious. The dip was tasty. I had a cocktail. I thought it was good. The service was good. I guess I have to try something different next time.

Inviting open air gastropub with chill vibes. Service was good and food was good but pricey but that's MB. Pork belly Benedict - this was an interesting dish. Definitely don't expect it to taste anything remotely close to a classic Benedict. They used grits instead of an English muffin or bread which was creative, and it came with asparagus and tomatoes. It was okay, would never order this again Sancho breakfast burrito - this was tasty. We got it with the wet sauce on the side but honestly my husband and I both agreed it tasted better without the wet sauce Mimosa - didn't taste fresh, tasted like it was part of a bit group batch made earlier because it was a little flat and wasn't super cold Overall solid average gastropub and I would go here again.
