Poke Nachos
Kaylani K.

I've been booking my company sales dinner here as it is always requested! I've never been able to visit myself but finally had the opportunity. Both times I've gone, staff is friendly, around lunchtime it's a bit empty but I love that for a quick lunch. Food has always been amazing. First time I tried their poke nachos and omg it did not disappoint! With a side of 805 just yum! 2nd time I tried the French dip sandwich which was yum but I'm not a huge fan of horseradish sauce. I accidentally dipped my fry thinking it was ranch LOL! Boy was it strong lol Only thing was first time my waiter was quick and attentive but second time around, different waiter.. wasn't as quick as the first one. But nothing to not keep me coming back for more. Oh and lastly... great for large groups, plenty of space and the music and tvs are the best!

I stopped in with some friends at Rock & Brews on Main Street. I can rock but I can't brew unless it's coffee since I am gluten intolerant. Loved the decorated ceiling and walls with all the rock artist art everywhere. We had a bunch of sides and my friends had the smash burgers. Server was friendly so a good time was had by all despite my limitations here. This review is shorter than my normally absurdly long reviews as I can only review half of this joint.

Wednesday night Burger specials, Playoff Hickey & Dodger game on the Giant screen, what could go wrong! Food looked great, was prepared quickly and everything tasted great. Our server was friendly and did a great job! They have a wide spectrum of good... pizza, tacos, salad, BBQ, wings and tons of Beers on Tap. Also the giant Sourdough pretzel was great too! I loved my spicy, sweet and crunchy wings. So good they did not need the ranch dressing. The smash was super thin double with grilled onions, pickle and secret sauce. Mikey & Hayden devoured them with barely a word. Ron loved his ultimate Burger. Thick patty, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions & pickle with doubled up cheese and dressed with thousand island dressing. He ate the whole thing and said, "Perfect!" A fun place to check out and each day a differ t special. Also killer happy our pricing 3-6pm! We'll add to our family rotation.

Not too crowded but the right chill vibe. Everybody that worked there was nice. The food was good. The smoke house burger was very juicy and overall very good. The fish and chips were battered perfectly. The fries were also good. We got the 805 beer which was great. This is a great place to catch a game because they have so many TVs. They also have a small kids playground which was cool to see. My only disappointment was that I was hoping there were more local craft beer options with the huge list that had. If I'm back in the area I would definitely swing by.

I mean it's your usual loud sport bar environment. Big space and open air spaces. Food was just ok. I got the chicken salad, nothing exciting, and I don't think $18 is worth the price of iceberg lettuce, dry chicken, and ok dressing. I appreciate the waiter's kind service that's why it got 3 stars.

I had dined at Rock & Brews years ago when I worked in the area. Today while on business near LAX, my wife and I along with our small dog decided to have lunch there. I knew that the restaurant is basically a large patio so I assumed that we could take our dog inside. I knew dogs were welcome when I saw the jar of dog treats on the check in counter. We were seated promptly and greeted by the manager at our table where we ordered their Tuesday $5 margaritas and a couple of their smash burgers. Shortly thereafter, the manager came back and explained that she neglected to offer our dog something from their dog menu. Wow!!! Dogs really are welcome here. Apparently, because we ordered meals, our dog was entitled to a free meal from the doggie menu. We picked the hamburger patty on rice. Our burgers were excellent and the margaritas perfect. Lore, our waitress was extremely pleasant. She helped my wife post a photo to instagram to commemorate our visit. She also recommended the dessert which was very good. We had a great time there and our dog, Izzy, did as well. She especially enjoyed her own meal. It's a great place for food and drinks and to bring your dog.

Great location, corner spot so parking is easy! It's big and lots of space, the bar is long with plenty of seating. 14 tvs while I was here it was the Dodgers, the Chargers, and music vids. It's a got a great vibe, the people working here are polite and attentive. The music is not loud which is perfect if you are carrying on a conversation. Ordered some beers and Nachos. Beers are cold and in frosted glasses, nice! The nachos are really flavorful. Had I not eaten someplace earlier I would've had a burger. The decor is RocknRoll (xcept Madonna) which is very cool. This place is better than Rocco's and has hints of the old Hard Rock . I do understand that Mr. Simmons does stop by every once in awhile. Recommended

Kids meal - pizza
Jenn J.

Came for a Dodgers game and, while it was on the largest screen, there was no audio. Despite sitting next to other patrons in jerseys who were clearly fans watching the same game, the vibe was off. Not quite what we were hoping for. Kids play area is for very very young kids. As is the kids menu. Kids in later years of elementary school wouldn't dig the play or the serving sizes. Most kids menus go to age 12 - this felt more like up to age 5? My boys poo-pooed the pizza as crackers pretending to be more. I tried it and know what they meant. It's visible in the picture too. The dough was dense and seemed pre-baked where sparse cheese was later melted atop. How hard is a pizza to bake from fresh? My burger was charred (also visible in picture) and overcooked. I ordered medium rare. I hate char. Messed up the each bite. Food was far from good. Overall, not worth the visit.

it has been FOREVER since my last visit to this location! we decided to grab lunch as we were in the area and also bc they are super dog friendly! service was wonderful, food was tasty and ambiance was chill .. we ordered: gastropub burger smokehouse burger pups got burger patty with rice (complimentary, as we ordered entrées) food presentation was good, the fries tho, those were delicious!! and their ranch..bomb!!! parking: street or lots available

Scenery/environment

The food and the service while sitting up at the bar were nothing less than spectacular. Wasn't sure what to get so the bartender (lady) helped me navigate the menu and I ended up getting a burger , they came out relatively fast and I wasn't waiting too long . I wasn't bugged while eating my food the bartender (lady) casually came and checked on me once or twice throughout my meal . The environment is very different than what I'm used to but it's a good kind of change I wish more places were like this . If I'm ever back in El Segundo I will definitely be going back !

Chicken Hand-Breaded Tenderstenders

Stopped by after a soccer game, the place is nice and spacious. The server was nice and told us the specials. The food was good i had the chicken tenders and nachos. We did get the pizza but it is really small for what they charge for it but other than that everything was good and we will definitely stop by again

I had never walked into this establishment prior to last night because I do not drink alcohol and I thought there would be no reason. I stand corrected. Their menu is quite extensive with all sorts of comfort food all of whom beckoned you to order them. I ordered the fig and apple panini with a side of roasted veggies......perfect. We ordered a side of fries......perfect. My friend ordered the black garlic honey habanero chicken sandwich with green salad.....perfect. Really ample portions as well. Service was really stellar and totally in tune with the setting. Zane and Katie handled all of the diners with ease and a very pleasant helpfulness and kind spirit. Kudos to them. The ambience is definitely upbeat with your choice of sports on multiple big screens and so is a bit boisterous but not rowdy and there are retreats within the establishment which are a bit separate from the sports energy in the main dining area.. Well I got a "yeah" umm well it be nice if she could communicate this. Well I asked for menus and didn't get a very welcoming vibe. The gentleman that assisted us with our orders was kind and polite. Food was ok, not a huge fan. Beer selection was ok. We chose to do the wrist band where they charge for how much you pour but when we poured it was a lot of foam and we had to re pour which we get charged for that too. So wasn't a fan of that. Probably wouldn't visit again. Was really disappointed.

Came through for happy hour with me, the Mrs., and two friends and we basically made it our mission…read moreto run the entire happy hour menu top to bottom... and I'm telling you right now: it didn't miss once. Every round that hit the table was a "pass it around, everybody try this" moment. The kind of happy hour where you're not just snacking -- you're accidentally having a full-on dinner because you can't stop ordering "one more thing." Food: Legit. Everything we tried was solid, but the wings were the standout for me -- the kind you keep reaching for even when you tell yourself you're good. Great flavor, cooked right, and they held their own against any wing spot that claims they're "known for wings." Whatever they're doing back there, keep doing that. Service / experience: This is where they really won. Trent was our guy tonight and I can't say enough about him. Manager supreme is the right title -- he wasn't just checking boxes, he was running the whole experience. He served, suggested, kept the pacing perfect, and made it feel effortless while still being locked in the entire time. You can tell when someone actually cares that your night is going well, and Trent is that dude. Major asset to this business and the kind of manager that turns first-time visits into "we're coming back next week." Atmosphere was exactly what you want for Manhattan Beach happy hour: lively, comfortable, easy to settle in, and perfect for a group. We came to try the menu and ended up staying for the vibe. Only complaint -- and it's not even on them, it's on the "beach cities trying to save the world one soggy sip at a time" vibe -- the paper straws. I swear those things last 11 minutes before they turn into a wet napkin. Let me live, Rockerfellas Bottom line: If you want a happy hour that actually delivers, Rockerfellas is it. Bring friends, come hungry, and if you get Trent taking care of you? You're in elite hands. We'll be back.

If I can tack on a 1/2 star or 1/2 point above, I would. And the only reason WHY I am not giving a…read morefull 5-star rating is because of The Rockefeller's cockamamie rule of "yes, we're dog friendly" but "you can't have your dog or your party block the sidewalk" and "we're not allowed to have the chairs out to here (indicating a particular distance on the sidewalk)", etcetera, etcetera. GIve me a break. JUST SAY that The Rockefeller isn't dog-friendly and be done with it, ok? By the way, this incident WAS on Mother's Day 2026, so the staff was particularly overwhelmed. . . so there's that timing. On a previous time my husband and I had brunch here about 4-5 months ago, we DID take our little doggie without any issue. So the staff either has to get their stories straight for next time or just say that The Rockefeller IS dog-friendly, BUT ONLY for a two- or one-person party. Other than that, The Rockefeller's Chilaquiles are phenomenal. It was flavorful and filling. Also, the Bacon & Eggs (two eggs, any style) -- which I had my eggs over-easy -- were outstanding. Bottom-line: Don't bring your dog. It's just too complicated for The Rockefeller to handle. Leave your dog at home.
