I love how there's valet parking ($10) so there's no fuss on trying to find a spot. This was my first time experiencing having a live band at a lounge and I really enjoyed listening to the songs they played. The drinks were really good, the catfish was great with or without hot sauce in my opinion. The green beans tasted like home as usual lol. The rice and gravy tasted good but I was a little disappointed because it got cold pretty fast. Besides the dish getting cold the rice was nice and fluffy. The chops and mac and cheese which my friend let me sample tasted really good. The Mac and cheese was great in my opinion and the chops weren't dry at all. Overall the service was great, the atmosphere was lovely and I would definitely come again to try other items on the menu. For anyone wanting to try this place out definitely give it a try despite anyone else's opinion online. I did learn that on Sunday the menu is different so if there's certain items you want to try just kindly ask questions.

I have years experience working as a Waitress so i would never micro-critique & give a business 2 stars cuz the food took forever etc. W/ that being said, i am reviewing this business based off the reports that this lounge & adjacent bingo hall was developed w/ stolen tax paying funds & monies ASSIGNED TO HOMELESS FOLKS LIVING IN SHELTERS. The co-founder of the non profit named Home at Last (HAL) was arrested recently by the FBI for reports of $7 million stolen. (If anyone knows anything about anything, when the Feds come for you, its a solid case. So the person who recently left a review saying "Innocent till proven guilty", umm tell that to the 25+ employees who may lose their jobs & the 99 clients who face an uncertain future). W/ that being said, one of the last 2 standing Shelters that disgraced co-founder, aka Thief's Non profit (HAL) runs, got an email this Friday from the other co-founder saying services will cease & HAL will no longer be the provider as of Oct 23. The County entities who held the contract w/ thief's non profit do not want HAL to be the provider probably cuz the name is now tarnished. In addition to the millions of mismanaged funds (aka stolen). Everything i just wrote is a FACT TRUST ME 100% I would never risk my Elite Yelp status by coming on here w/ lies. Again, if you choose to give this establishment your time & money, just remember 25+ employees may lose their jobs & 99 clients may have to be transferred to a completely different Shelter, which can be extremely traumatizing. Yes i understand the employees of this "Lounge" shouldn't have to suffer & be w/o their income, but neither should the Staff at HAL Shelter.

They played an array of popular tracks, including songs from Duke Ellington & Frank Sinatra. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select_video=1cJcQVrI4JGjHPve4t5fDw&userid=xsT4KZTu_KnOVavtuXn4RA Service was great. The staff replenished the buffet in a timely manner, and quickly carried away empty plates & glasses. Parking was free in the upper levels of the Hollywood Park Casino parking structure. However, I have heard on SoFi Stadium event days (and the soon to be open Intuit Dome), parking prices at the structure are the same as SoFi, which is an arm & a leg. I had an enjoyable evening attending the Hollywood & Wine night at The Raise Lounge in Hollywood Park Casino. While the buffet left me wanting more, and the sound didn't provide the highest quality for the featured musical act, I had fun. Hopefully, the staff reads this & takes to heart my suggestions.

We came here to celebrate my cousin's graduation after she became a doctor, and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. The food was delicious, rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The drinks were great too! I enjoyed the wine and champagne, which were smooth and not overly strong. A special shoutout to our server, Daniel, who did an amazing job taking care of our group. He was attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: it can get pretty windy up there since you're close to the airport, so bring a light jacket or dress accordingly. Thankfully, they have fire pits and heat lamps that help keep everyone warm and comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu. Thank you for a great experience!

Ambiance is nicely decorated, it's part of the hotel, so just walk right in, pass the lobby, take the elevator to the 6th floor and you are there. Parking is free and plenty of it outside, do not feel the need to pay. Service: Horrible, I would give her a zero if I could. We had the woman server, reddish hair, one who I thought would be seasoned. Oder took her about 8 minutes, she then walk away and not said why. It was apparent that there was an issue with the table. Drinks took about another 12 mins to arrive and when they did it would have been great if she had spilled them. Drinks were horrible. My rum and coke was served flat and warm. Ice was dirty, seemed like no preventative maintenance takes place. No napkins were served, and at no time did she stop by to check in on us. Bartenders... not presentable at all. I didn't know what I was looking at. There was no way for me to tell if he was a bartender, or anyone else making the drinks. He seemed hot and sweaty, completely off, and wearing some sort of white T-Shirt., again, you couldn't event tell that it was a bartender making that drink, the entire experience was horrible. The drinks were so bad that we took 2 sips and said it's time to go. Waitress came by, we checked out and she just stood there waiting for a tip. We felt forced to tip her, when in reality I wanted to say, please quit your job. Folks, if you are looking for a nice classy drink, or something made right, do your self a favor and go elsewhere. if you are staying there, either go to the lobby bar, or better yet, skip out and head to Manhattan beach. No one should pay over $50.00 for poorly made drinks, served on a dirty glass, warm and with less than mediocre service.

Came on a saturday night at 6:30 reservation and it was very quiet with us being the only table most of the evening. The outside restaurant has live bands which can be a little loud. Service: 100/10 - Markley was the bartender and the only one who operates the speakeasy, she's not only the best bartender Ive had custom drinks from, but she also makes each individual product herself. She explained every part of the drinks and ingredients, and even offered to make any kind of drink we'd want if there was nothing on her menu. Deviled eggs: 7.5/10 interesting they were fried, but had great flavor all over Mongolian Beef: 8/10 very good flavor, and rice was tasty, but the sauce was a little salty. Cajun chicken pasta: 9.5/10 chicken was tender, pasta was cooked perfectly, sauce was delicious, and the sausage was a great addition. I'd easily drive an hour from LA again to come here!
