I've been here quite a few times after work but today just seemed off. Service was attentive and on point for drinks and acknowledged that I was here, but when I asked for spicy wings or the chicken habanero sandwich they said "it is what it is". Not really what I expected. The Nashville chicken wings were ok, a bit oily/greasy for my taste and they forgot blue cheese instead of ranch (just a knit of mine). The pretzel with beer cheese and "spicy mustard" were okay! Cheese is a bit liquids for my stats and mustard is just slightly brown mustard. Beers here are always great! Can't complain there. They always play the games though, super awesome after a long Friday! NHL, NBA, MLB ;) nice and sporty vibes. Will be back... I work walking distance
We tried their cold brew! New to their menu. The lobster roll on squid bread was decent. The fish tacos were also good... however, IF you are allergic to shellfish please know that the fish is fried in the same oil as the shellfish therefore probably bot a good idea to eat fish tacos. The wins were good. The Nashville wins a very spicy. We tried their non-alcoholic margaritas, they were ok, but honestly I probably wouldn't order those again. The ambiance is nice. We had a lovely time. Free street parking was convenient. The restaurant is clean. The wait-staff was friendly... however, I am sorry to say that it was super slow and one of us didn't get our food until the rest of us were done.
True story. I was talking my wife and son to LAX so we had lunch in downtown El Segundo. We had pizza and a salad. No biggie. Then, what am I gonna do? Drive home in three hours of traffic?!?! No way. I looked for a cool place to hang out, watch some sports, and get some work done. I needed free wifi, a power plug, and an environment that is conducive to focused work. Okay, okay... I also had self-serve beers. Everyone's a hypocrite. I didn't realize I'd find this gem. They have a board and card game wall that would entertain my nine year old. They have a plethora of salads that will maker my wife happy. They had a self-serve beer wall that would satisfy me. The nachos were awesome. It's the Goldilocks of gastro pubs. Don't sweat the two hour parking signs. But if you're a worrier, go to the free public parking on Grand. I was hooked up by Seth, Zane, and Katie who will make you feel like family.
My sister and I decided to dine at Brewport on our way to LAX before our flight. The abundance of self tap beers and wine along with a nice food menu interested us. The waitress did not provide the best experience. She was very curt and very standoffish, especially when we saw her interacting with others compared to us. Mind you, there was a couple, two guys and then us. So she was not "busy" as it was 1pm. Not one time did she inquire if we needed anything or how was our food. It seem like a cool place to grab some beverages and nibbles but hopefully next time better hospitality. I will say the salmon dip and habanero chicken sandwich was delicious. The macaroni salad needed more mayo and flavor. The fries were pretty good too.
Great spot to go for game nights! Came here on a Friday night and the beers were spot on. So many options and so fun pouring our own drinks! They have a great selection of beers and wines to self pour!! Although it was crowded, the servers were attentive and served us at a decent time. It's a casual brewery and great for work events! Wings were big but tasted okay. Overall, Great for drinks but okay for food!
Definitely an ideal spot to hang with friends! Entering, you're automatically greeted and informed of the wristband-use (pretty cool!). In my case, i was informed that there are other options besides beer! They have a full bar at this spot. If you like having options, this is the ideal spot to try out. I had the pineapple cucumber ghost margarita which was yummy. It did have a bit of spice, as inferred in the name. Most of the seating is geared for groups of 4 but you are able to move stools around, like we did, for our group of 6. And there are a couple of long tables. My friends were bummed with how many taps became empty all at once, pretty early, around 8pm. Going to where the outdoor back patio is, you'll find two restroom stalls. They are both gender neutral. Not the messiest but could be cleaner.
Exec summary: a "novelty " sports bar where you get a wristband , sample all sorts of beers and have pub snacks 1- food We got a burger (hard to screw up) and a chicken sandwich. Had to get the tots, of course The food was average. This is not a gastro pub. So expect sports bar quality. That being said, it was fine 2 - Service No complaints at all. We came in after the lunch rush so we got helped right away. No complaints 3- ambiance They have games you can borrow and play, lots of TVs with sports channels, a carpet that looks like it's absorbed it's fair share of spilled beer .... Summary: for what it is, totally fine
This place was so interesting when I first came in. You pour however much beer or wine you want & they will charge you for just that! Which is really convenient, if you want to try something. My boyfriend and I decided to get the flight glasses & tried all the beers & wines they had haha, it was a really fun experience. The lady at the front just checks your ID and gives you a bracelet so you could pour your drinks. They have TV's around the place in case there's games going on & a wall full of events that they do which I find pretty fun and entertaining.
Brew up some burgers and sandwiches, tap into the array of beers on the wall, and open the doors to the house of fun, this is Brewport Tap House in El Segundo. Cool concept Brewary with above average food, so many options for beers. You can get a wristband and pour all the options and amount of beer you want, pay as you go. Plenty of space for small and large groups. Lots of TVs for sports games and a small outdoor area for lawn games. The service is quick and often, which I appreciated. Parking around the area is tough so. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the downtown El Segundo area.

(4/5) I came here with some friends to watch a World Cup game, and we had a great time. There are TVs everywhere, so it's an awesome spot to catch a game without missing any of the action. The self-pour drink system is a really unique experience. You use a wristband to scan the taps and pay by the ounce, so you can pour as much or as little as you want. It takes a minute to get the hang of it, but once you do, it's a lot of fun. I loved being able to sample a wide variety of beers, wines, and seltzers without committing to a full glass. They also have a few non-alcoholic options, which is a nice touch. The food was just okay, but the atmosphere and drink selection are what make this place worth visiting. I'd definitely come back to watch another game or hang out with friends. read more

Unique take on a sports bar. If you've never been, you get a wristband and tap the wristband on the self serve beer and wine taps and pay when you're ready to close your tab. Seems reasonably priced as well -- all of the beers I tried were priced at around 60 cents/ounce. I love all of the sour options, and the chocolate raspberry cider is absolutely amazing! I also like that they provide smaller glasses with a tray if you want to make your own beer flight tasting. Will definitely be back! read more

I came here on a Friday night around 6:45 with a group of about 6-7 people - this place is PERFECT for a group! This brewery was so cool since it was a "pour your own" system where you just tap with a bracelet to keep track of how much you're drinking. I'm not even a beer fan but they also had hard kombucha, wine, and some really tasty ciders. Since I wasn't drinking, I HAD to partake in their dinner - their menu was surprisingly large for a brewery, I was pleasantly surprised! I got the Black Garlic Honey Habanero chicken sandwich at our waiter's suggestion and I'm glad I trusted them - it was GREAT! I love the coleslaw toppings, the tater tots had that extra crispiness that I love for my fried potatoes and the portion size was perfect. It wasn't that spicy, which I was perfectly fine with because all the other flavors were sooo good. My only note would be I wish the chicken was a little thicker but that's the big back in me talking For 3 meals, I spent ~$58 including tip. My boyfriend got 2 flights and a couple solos and spent a bit over $30 for that. Parking was FREE! I will definitely be back here read more

Stopped in here before a flight at LAX. Food was typical bar food and good. There is a wall of beers and wine that you can sample with a wristband. TV's all over showing different sporting events. Our waiter was new but did a great job! read more
This place is sweet! Right off of the Main Street that's got a bunch happening, it's got indoor and outdoor seating options and several rooms each offering a different ambience so you can find what works best for you. Sports on several TVs also adds the sports bar feel which is nice. The coolest thing has to be that you can just get a wristband that allows you to pour your own glass from any of the 20+ taps giving you a chance to try anything you want! And finally, the food was delicious - all I got a picture of was the tacos, but hands down I have no stopped thinking about the hot garlic blackened chicken sandwich! Only regret is not getting two! read more

We stopped here for the beer and ended up having a great afternoon at Brewport! If you've never been, you get a bracelet that allows you to scan and pour your own, perfect for those who typically order flights or can't make up their minds! While it comes out to be more than your typical pint, getting to try so many options is worth it to me! Outside of the beer, there's a menu with gastropub items and tons of TVs to watch your favorite game. read more

I guess your review and experience will depend on when you go and what you order. My wife and I have been here a few times over the years and have had some 4-star visits and some lesser ones. Our last visit was one of the lesser. We went in on a weekend, when we discovered they have an added BBQ menu. Now, I lived in Oklahoma for almost 10 years so I've had some very good BBQ over the years (yeah, I know, it's not Kansas City, or Memphis, or parts of Texas but they do make some great BBQ there as well) so I was excited. Decided on the tri-tip as it is easy to eat and usually very flavorful. The weekend lunch special comes with two sides which is a plus. I ordered the beans and mac & cheese. They had a private party going on in one of their private rooms so the kitchen was busy. I'm using this as the reason it took so long to get our order (I really don't know why it took so long). But, unfortunately, when it arrived, the tri-tip was literally cold. The beans and mac & cheese were warm but the meat was cold. The waitress quickly picked up the plate to fix the issue. When she returned, the tri-tip had been tossed on the grille, browning the edges. Definitely warmer but...now the sides were cold. Not wanting to send a plate back for a second time, I just ate what was in front of me. The flavor of the beans and the meat was good, the mac & cheese needed a little more, well, cheese flavor. My wife had the street tacos and they are more of a snack than a meal. We'll most likely be back but will try something different. We like to patronize local establishments and this one is within walking distance. Hopefully everything will be warmer and delivered quickly next time. This was a super fun weekend activity. We enjoyed our time outside. The patio was a great place to hang out and have a few drinks. The only qualm we had was that the service was not attentive. We asked for hot sauce and they never brought it, they only checked in on us once, and they didn't make sure our waters were full. The hostess was super sweet and explained the whole process to us, but I think the servers should be more attentive. read more

My husband and I came here one afternoon on weekday. They have so many beer selections and pour yourself beers, seltzers, ciders, kombuchas , and red and white wines. We love the selections of porters and stouts they have and happy hour from 11am to 5pm on Monday through Friday. Big sports/gastro pub with many TVs to watch your favorite sport team games. Friendly and attentive service. read more

A group of my friends came together to celebrate one of our close friend's birthday. She booked out the private patio in the back of the brewery which allowed for a more intimate setting for our trivia night to celebrate her birthday. The beer was very tasty and we loved how easy it was to tap and pour. Our server was also very accommodating and dropped by our room often to check in on us. The loaded tots were very tasty as well as the garlic Parmesan fries they catered in our room. My friends and I also split the shrimp and chips which came with the juiciest shrimps. Overall, a great place to enjoy some beer and hang out with friends. read more

Here for an event and the selection of beer and wine on tap was amazing. The Mac and cheese and sweet potatoe fries were big hits with our crowd and the sliders were cooked to perfection. Fun atmosphere with a chill vibe. read more

Came here on Halloween for trivia night and was a fun experience. I'm obsessed with unique bars and have been wanting to try brewport for the longest time. My favorite part was the self serve taps where you scanned your bracelet and could pour up as much or as little as you want. As someone who loves trying everything on the menu, this place was heaven. They had beer, cider, hard kombucha, hard lemonade, hard seltzers and wine. I love the idea of being able to try as much as I want and not have to pour up a whole glass. They had a decent amount of options. The workers were all so kind and helpful. The only thing that we didn't love was the fact that trivia night took over 3 hours. Being only one person wins, if I remember correctly, it took way too long to get to the end. I assume they do this in hopes to make it last as long as possible but it takes away from the fun of trivia. It was so slow paced and took way too much time between each question. Would've liked more games split up with a faster pace and not having all the trivia questions about facts prior to 1990. Also the wines my friend got a flight of were really disappointing. Enough so she didn't drink what she paid for. The beers, lemonades and ciders were all great but wines were super disappointing. Overall a cool place I'll definitely be back at to try more drinks and hopefully food! read more

[Parking]: Not exactly easy parking in downtown El Segundo, but I found a 2-hour parking lot just one block away from the bar (Richmond St & Richmond St). [Events]: Weekly Pop Culture Trivia on Tuesday at 7 PM. Saturday and Sunday brunch hours from 10 AM to 2 PM. Monthly Recession Proof Comedy Night 1st Wednesday of each month. Please note that each night patio closes at 10 PM. [Service]: Service was a bit slow and slightly confusing. I was planning to order an item on the brunch menu, but our waitress said no brunch on Friday so I had to make a last minute change on my entree order. *** Wings (6 pieces with hoisin BBQ - $12): Not too shabby and I would recommend this appetizer - it had a nice sweet Asian BBQ flavor profile. Fish & Chips (cod dipped in beer infused batter and served with malt vinegar - $19): Dipping sauce was mediocre and tasted slightly sour while beer-battered cod was just meh. *** Okay service and okay food - hence okay rating. P.S. - Brewport Tap House partners with Hatchet Hound on axe throwing events (reservation with Hatchet Hound is required). read more

Can you bring your own food?
Yeah they let me bring cake for a birthday party and even provided plates!
Do you have TVs in the outside beer garden?
Yes, we do. Because taking the necessary Covid precautions reduces our capacity in back and the World Series is in full swing, we highly recommend reservations, which you can get online at our website — www.brewporttaphouse.com.
Do you allow outside food?
Sorry, but we don't. We do have a full kitchen that serves great food, though.
Is there still pour your own / self serve taps?
Not currently. Due to the current Covid situation, the self pour taps are closed, but we do have a good assortment of craft beer on tap, both on our expanded (newer) side, as well as outside in the Backyard Beer Garden during its operating hours.
Do they have WiFi?
Yes, our WiFi coverage extends both to our front patio and Backyard Beer Garden.
Do you have to pay for the wristband?
The wristbands are turned in when you check out at the front desk. There isn't a charge for it, in and of itself, unless you were to leave with it. Otherwise, you are only charged for what you pour.
Do they take reservations?
We're first come, first served, except in the case of larger parties (generally 15 or more). Should that be the case, you can email info@brewporttaphouse.com
Good for large groups?
Definitely. They have a large area in front and a small patio at the back. They can accommodate around 40-50 people.
How do the drinks work, do you pay for unlimited pours or do you pay per pour?
When you check in up front and present your ID, you receive a sensored wristband preloaded with 40 ounces of capacity. You only get charged for what you actually drink, however and the price per ounce of all of our selection is on the tap display.…
Are there televisions available to watch sport games? In one of the reviews, I saw a person watching a boxing match on her phone...
Yes, we do have several big screen televisions at Brewport to show major sporting events.
Is it ok to bring kids 5-10 years old before 5pm?
Yes. It's fine, we serve food, have a full kitchen and are all ages
What time does the kitchen close on weekends?
I believe you have to order before 945pm
What time is happy hour?
At present we really don't have a happy hour per se. We do offer half-price discounts on certain items during our Sunday brunch. We certainly appreciate your interest and hope you can make it down
Does anyone know if they are dog-friendly here?
Yes the open front patio and the covered back patio are both dog friendly. Water bowls and treats are available too!
