    Big TV for football outside

Banana chocolate stout good and different. Others had IPAs and said ok. Outside is small but they had a large TV with a clear screen for game. Not impressed by the food vendor. Not sure I would return as I prefer other breweries in the area.

I had been here back when it was Upshift, and I've got to say -- the beers are even better now under Sugar Monkey. I stopped by in August when a friend flew into LAX. We wanted to catch up over a couple of beers, and Sugar Monkey got the nod since parking's easy on the street and there's plenty of seating. We grabbed a table outside and had a great time. The brewery itself is spotless, and the beers are solid -- very drinkable across the board. The guy working the counter was super chill, took the time to explain the different styles, and just had an easygoing vibe that fit the place perfectly. I really liked Sugar Monkey and definitely need to come back soon to confirm it's as good as I think it is. For now, an easy 4.5 stars!

Have been here twice and each time I've loved it. watched the superbowl because we didn't feel like having a party ourselves. It was a great atmosphere and I love that it's family friendly. I don't drink much so it was nice to have non alcoholic options. I got the non alcoholic version of blood orange pomegranate seltzer and it was good. I think I've found one of my favorite place to spend a Sunday!

Excellent patio area with karaoke on Wednesday. Come sing and drink good tasting beers.

What a great spot this is. Really nice outside set up. We enjoyed the variation in beers, the chill vibe sitting outside was perfect for us. Met the owner he was really nice too. Highly recommend.

Great brewery that has a good amount of outdoor space in the back. Good for groups! They have a nice selection of beers and serve flights too. A lot of the beers that I had were perfect for the spring weather and easy to drink. They also have food trucks that rotate throughout the week. They don't have parking so you'll have to find some street parking unfortunately but it wasn't too bad when I went. Service was friendly and knowledgeable about their brews too!

We enjoyed the brewery and the bartender was really nice. There is good indoor and outdoor seating and they had a food truck/tent. The beer: A Cole Day in Helles (great) Pour Attendance New Zealand Pilsner (excellent) Intrusive Thoughts Hefeweizen (not a Hefe or dirty lines as it was new...tasted like a hazy IPA) Toxic Positivity dark lager (great)

There is a little bit for everyone here.. especially if you're a starting into beer, tasting or into seltzers

I stumbled upon this place on their last call. Last I remember this was downshift brewing Company formerly. I pulled up on a last-minute brewery, adventure, and stumbled upon this place after another. There was a taco catering service outside, which is good. The ambience is more than spacious and has heaters as well as mini bonfires. If you're in the El Segundo area, I urge you to try this place. It is a must. There's something for everyone as well as seltzers, strong, ales and IPAs. The servers were incredibly helpful and very sweet. It is a place I will definitely come back to.

Drinks, Food Trucks and Games. This place has everything to have the perfect hang out. They have billiards, ping-pong, foot soccer, mini golf stuff and more to entertain you and your friends. The have a good selection of beer so anyone can find something to thier liking. There are different food trucks at the location each day. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. I went on a Weekday so there wasn't many people but I'm sure it gets busy on the weekends. I do recommend coming here if your are looking for something that checks off a fun atmosphere and good beer.

Drive home in three hours of traffic?!?! No way. I looked for a cool place to hang out, watch some sports, and get some work done. Not really what I expected. The Nashville chicken wings were ok, a bit oily/greasy for my taste and they forgot blue cheese instead of ranch (just a knit of mine). The pretzel with beer cheese and "spicy mustard" were okay! Cheese is a bit liquids for my stats and mustard is just slightly brown mustard. Beers here are always great! Can't complain there. This was one of the best pizza-related choices I've made in Southern California. Parking is a little tough...I ended up parking a few blocks away on a main street, which was fine, but didn't notice there was a public parking structure available closer behind a building across the street. The place was crowded and lively on the early Saturday evening I was there. That's a great sign...I was just getting a slice to go, but overheard the host telling people it would only be 10-15 minutes for a table. I had a classic cheese slice. (My litmus test for NY pizza at a new location.) It was FANTASTIC. Easily among the very best crusts I've had on the west coast...super thin and crispy...exactly as it should be. The balance of sauce and cheese was also perfect. Too many pie shops seem to treat sauce as an afterthought...too thin a layer, almost not tastable. But not here...it was perfect...the right amount of everything. There are other really delectable looking pizza options, even for vegetarians like me, including a fascinating "Cacio E Pepe" and a Margherita. (I also saw one which looked all sauce like a tomato pie, which looked really good. (Plus other options like Fried Brussels Sprouts or Fried Cauliflower...cheese bread, and salads. The beer menu, as one would expect with "pint" in the name, is extensive with lots on tap and "guest" brewery selections. Lots of wines to choose from as well. Slice and Pint may be local to El Segundo (lucky El Segundonians!) But my experience with this one slice is that it would be worth the drive from anywhere in SoCal to eat here...If you love NYC-style thin slices...like real legitimate ones...charge up the car and get yourself there.

After finding a table, we went back up ready to order and the server responded pretty rudely: "Did you not hear what I said?" I completely understand restaurants get busy and mistakes happen, especially in a loud environment, but the attitude felt unnecessary over a simple misunderstanding. We ended up leaving and went to Japonica around the corner instead, where the service was much friendlier.

It used to be my favorite restaurant in the world for several reasons: casual with a LOCAL vibe, new and exciting menu every time we came in, delicious food experiences as they were making such amazing dishes. With the remodel, all ties to its past (the post office) have been removed. Now it is just a fancy Marie Calendars with no personality. For the first time ever, last night for Father's Day, I didn't see a single main dish item that interested me. We had all appetizers and salads. For some reason even the bacon biscuits underwhelmed. The flavor just wasn't as savory as I remember. The tomato salad had very sad tomatoes. The risotto lobster dish did not seem to have any risotto in it; it was all corn. The Muscles were good and the green beans were good. I also like the shrimp on toast, as strange as that sounded. I enjoyed the strawberry dessert as well. Thankfully, Justin, our waiter, took great care of us and made up for any disappointment we were experiencing. It seemed to me that this restaurant is now just an afterthought for the busy owners as they manage several venues. It is no longer the standout leader in town it once was.
