I've been coming here since 2024 and honestly can't believe I never left a review. Everything about this place just works. The crew behind the counter is always welcoming, knows their beer, and actually remembers people and what they like. It has that rare neighborhood feel where you don't just grab a drink and leave. You feel like part of something. The rotating food vendors are solid, and being able to bring your own food is a big plus. The space itself is great. It's tucked right off Rosecrans with both indoor and outdoor seating. The garage doors open things up so you still get that beach breeze even if you're inside. Only real downside is parking right in front can be tough, but if you're willing to walk a block, Hawthorne and Rosecrans usually have spots. We even hosted a party here in 2025 and the experience was smooth from start to finish. Chris made everything easy. Communication was mostly over email, super clear and responsive, and they took the time to walk us through the space in person when we had questions. The upstairs area is very nice though can run a little warm. Thankfully, they have fans! We opted for the patio since I like the open air and it gave us extra room. Very helpful and accommodating and a super reasonable minimum spending amount. We had around 30 people and it never felt cramped. A bunch of our friends have come back on their own since, which says a lot. And yeah, the beer. It's that good. There are a lot of strong breweries around here, but this one hits different. The Hazy Lil Daisy IPA is a go to, and their seasonal and themed releases are always fun and creative without sacrificing quality. They also make it easy for non drinkers to feel included with solid options like NA seltzers, sodas, and juices (which works great for my wife)! read more

LOVE LOVE Far Field. I threw my son's 1st birthday party in the upstairs private area last weekend and it was such an amazing experience. We actually found Far Field by chance when scrambling to find an indoor space due to the rain, and the manager Chris was incredibly kind and accommodating to let us move our party there on short notice. They have such a great space to throw a good sized party (and very affordable as well). Our guests loved it. And as a brewery, this place has everything I look for - seriously delicious beers, a relaxed atmosphere, and a really friendly, warm staff. We will be returning customers for sure. read more

Dropped in for a beer and while there, there was a taco food vendor. Really cool spot to hang out and enjoy the sunny outdoor patio with a good beer in one hand and a taco in the other hand. From the outside it looks like it's going to be a tiny brewery, but once we walked in, surprisingly is very roomy. Looking to grab a nice cold one we decided to check out another local brewery to see what they were all about. Within walking distance, Far afield Beer Co is a nice; welcoming establishment where everyone is enjoying a nice cold one either watching a sports game or plan some retro arcade games. The beers were fresh and very tasty. The spot doesn't offer food outside of snacks, but they do partner with vendors to provide food on site so you get the best of both worlds. We hosted my husband's 40th birthday at Far Field Beer Company this past Saturday and had such a great time! The upstairs space is available to reserve and is closed off to the public, which made it feel like a private party without the cost of renting out an entire brewery. We had about 25 guests, a mix of adults and kids, and everyone had an amazing time. Chris, the manager, is fantastic. From day one, he was helpful, responsive, and professional which made it an easy decision to book here. Communication makes all the difference when planning an event, and he answered every question and made the entire process seamless. The brewery itself has a great selection of beers, and I love that they rotate options so there's always something new to try. Fun spot! We had a few beers and tacos from the food truck that was there that weekend. After a good day of pickleball, these beers hit the spot. We liked all the beers we had. It was a chill vibe, not too crazy or loud. The guy working was super friendly and gave us a few tasters to figure out what we liked best. I absolutely love this place! This is the best brewery in my opinion in the South Bay; the reason is the beer actually taste like what the ingredients read. The attention to detail for the brewing process clearly shows on the result. The staff is always welcoming, Johnathan, Mike and Izzy are always incredible. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great little brewery and tasting room off the beaten path. Met up with a friend who lives in the area and was therefore in the know. Located on a rather dreary auto shop row, it was surprisingly roomy with a super-cute ambiance. It was empty on a rainy Saturday around noon so I was able to score parking in their tiny front lot, but I imagine on busier days you'd have to do street parking. As per my custom when at a new brewery, I got a flight: Uno mas, Great American Pilsner, fools gold coffee stout, hazy IPA. All the beers were good, and I particularly enjoyed fools gold. We were in the mood for some grub but learned that the food vendor wouldn't be getting there till 2pm. The bartender said they did have some pizzas he could heat up in their oven, so we went with that. It took a little while because their oven had to warm up, and ultimately it could have been a little more crisp, but it was ok, and overall my friend and I had a great time. Seems like a nice addition to the area--I'm definitely down to return! read more

Far Field Beer is a cool, relatively new brewery that is quite inviting for a hang. They have a number of TVs, a upstairs space (can be reserved for private parties), indoor and outdoor seating, and a little outdoor field and corn hole. Beers are great and diverse - they have typical IPAs and lagers, a good apricot wheat, a unique lavender beer, and seltzers as well as a non-alcoholic beer option. Bartenders are super friendly. Parking lot is very tight (~5 spots, 1 for handicapped) but there is decent amount of street parking outside. read more

I love this place more than any other brewery and love being invested in it's growth. The owner and management makes you feel like a part of something that captures an essence no brewery has had at least in my opinion. The balance between adult fun and family friendly is unique in that they build upon each other hand in hand to create an experience like non other. And to have that in a pocket neighborhood like Lawndale is something that never happens. The brews they come up with are consistently some of the best beers I have had and I will continue to be a patron just to try them all! I avoided Far Field for a couple years due to the parking lot always being full, I whole heartedly regret that decision. This has become my favorite brewery in the area, so do yourself a favor and hit up the spot. They have an extensive selection of beers, slushies for adults/kids, and nonalcoholic options too. What keeps me coming back is the phenomenal award winning beers and vibes. I love the staff and regulars, it feels like you're drinking with friends and family. I love this brewery!!! It's become a Friday tradition to visit every week. The beer is amazing. The selection accommodates everyone taste buds. My top three are Sound of space, No reasons necessary, and Infrared. Not to mention they have slushiesss!! One alcoholic and one non alcoholic. Chris and Jonathan are the BEST!!! They have a great selection of award winning brews on tap that changes regularly and generally have a non alcoholic option on as well ( their hibiscus tea is bomb!). Is not just a brewery but a local hangout with a variety of food vendors, depending on the day of the week. Tvs show sports or music videos. They have some retro arcade cabinets that bring back nostalgia. Is definitely a great location to come hang out with friends or by yourself. People are super friendly, as well as the servers creating such a positive atmosphere. They have corn hole outside to play with friends or strangers while enjoying a cold beverage. No worries if you don't have quarters they have a machine that converts bills into quarters. Fairfield brewery was great . Gabby did a great job recommending and being patient with my order. Being a first timer; it was hard to pick. But she made it easy and did not rush it. The food of the night was HahaNpickles, Philips had some great sauces that went well with the tacos and quesadillas , recommended the chicken more than the steak as the steak was a little tough. But the sour cream and the chicken quesadilla was nice. Back to the beer; the hoppy ipa was great. We stopped by Far Field for the first time a few weeks back not even knowing this place existed for a few years. Maybe because the location is a little deceiving since it's located in a former auto repair building. They like to experiment with different styles of beer so we did have some interesting flavors we tried. Only thing about the place though is the parking, they have a couple parking spaces and then everything else is neighborhood or street parking so it's just depends if you feel like huffing it a few blocks for a beer. read more
