Great vibe to hangout and grab a beer. I tried the cherry hard kombucha bc I'm not a big beer person and it was good. My husband really liked his beer. They have a game area with a couple arcade games and a basketball game, live music on the weekends. Overall a fun environment to hang out. There was an empanada truck the night we came and the burger empanada was the favorite. It had a spicy dipping mayo, juicy beef and creamy cheese filling. They were lightly fried and super crispy. I we tried the chicken pot pie and another beef one but the burger one is the best/most flavorful. read more

This place has some really fun games. The overall feeling is kinda of upscale and relaxed at the same time. If you're here for an event it can get really fun. Try the Street Fighter arcade stand! Had a pretty crappy experience with the PintLife beer passports here (program where you get a penny pint at 30 local breweries). We were told only the saison qualified for the passport, so we both ordered that. Bummer because neither of us particularly love saisons and there were more interesting options on the menu. It was such a meh beer and left a bitter taste that we couldnt even have a selection of a few qualifying beers (like literally every other place on the passport). Decided it wasnt worth staying for a second beer and left. Parking was super easy - basically in an empty strip mall. They had a little taco stand outside too which would have been nice! read more

One of the best stout beer I ever had! This brewery has an offering of healthy beers. The pill dinner was delicious. The stout was very tasty. So was the Amber and the blonde ale. This business is somewhat tucked away just west of Hawthorne Boulevard on 182nd Street. You might not see it easily because it doesn't "Trusted Gut" on the signage. It's a fairly small brew pub, with the tanks and high tables. We sampled the flight of five beers. I most enjoyed the West Coast IPA--very delicious. I believe we were served by one of the owners, based on viewing the website. We didn't order food. Trusted Gut has a neighborhood feel, like there are regulars who visit there. I plan to return for the IPA. That was the winner. read more

I stumbled across this place on Instagram and they truly SOLD me on their Kombucha honestly. My husband and I love hanging out at brewery's but they don't always have something I like and with my husband everyone we leave he is so bloated and not feeling the best. Absolutely loved this place where we can both enjoy something honestly. The ambiance is great, I love the look to it very simple and minimalistic and the Stools they had with high tables and the little light in the middle added a bit of elegance to the spot honestly. I love that they have different seating areas. For those who wish to see sports they have a projector with the games that's on for the day and it's perfect. They have another lounge area that's kind closed off for other events that they host so it's pretty neat. Their bathrooms are pretty clean as well. They allow you to bring your own food which I love but they tend to have some Vendors pop up just check their instagram to see events and what there will be for food. We went on a Sunday afternoon and Los Dos Mayorales were there and I cannot express how much we loved their pizza better than some other places for sure. They were so chill and had our pizza out within 8-9 min and it was delicious and went well with our Drinks. Love that they have some of their beer's to go if you wish to take some home which is a great touch as always. My husband bought a T shirt and the quality is great! Their service was great don't have many people just the girl up front taking our order but she was nice and if you wish to try some they allow that. Can't wait to be back with our friends we totally loved this spot and it's close to home as well. Can't wait to catch some playoff games here and enjoy a beer without the aftermath of being bloated. West coast ipa is my favorite, all the beers are delicious though. They have some seltzers and meads to if that's your thing. They got a big projector and tvs and a pinball machine area. A true micro brewery. It's a building with a couple of walls separating the guest area and the rest. There is no decoration. Just blank white walls. There's a bar counter and few high tables. They have a projector to project a game. They have a couple of TV's. They only serve beer. No food. You can bring in your own apparently. As far as beer goes, they have mostly IPA's. The darkest is a stout. I'm not a fan of IPA's so it wasn't a place for me. The staff was nice. Not talkative unless you ask them questions. I'm giving them 3 stars as they are okay. As a local who's lives right across the street from this brewery, I was so excited when they officially opened. It's been a nice little escape when I don't feel like drinking at home, and it's also a great place to meet other locals. That said, it's a bit of a hit and miss experience for me. The good parts are that there's plenty of parking, there are always different food vendors, the employees are super friendly, and there is usually something fun going on like stand-up, yoga, pilates with goats, or live music. Where it falls short is the consistency. Sometimes it's packed on a random weekday and sometimes it's completely quiet. I also think it would be nice if they offered a few alternative drink options. I get that it's a brewery, but every now and then I would love to just have a glass of wine while enjoying the space and the food vendors. The food itself is probably my biggest disappointment. I love when breweries bring in up-and-coming food trucks because it usually feels authentic and exciting, but here it's been more misses than hits. It's rare that I leave feeling impressed. Their social media could also be better. Posting schedules only in Stories makes them easy to miss, and tagging vendors or performers would go a long way in helping people connect with them directly. Overall, it's a great spot with great people and a fun vibe. I just feel like it has the potential to be more, but it sometimes falls a little short. read more

Trusted gut is my current favorite brewery. As a long time king harbor regular, i love what this has become. I'm gluten intolerant and love beer, and have just accepted that I'm going to feel like shit after a few beers... not here. All of their beers are specially brewed to remove harsh gluten without sacrificing flavor. This Is the only beer I can drink that doesn't completely wreck me and anyone should feel the same! First drink was the Blonde Ale, which was perfect in flavor for me. I decided to give the kombucha a try. They have two flavors: passion ginger and watermelon mint. I went with the watermelon mint, you can definitely taste the mint. It was very fizzy compared to the beer, which I was expecting lol. It was a great summer drink. I really want to try the passion ginger next time as I'm a huge passion fruit fan! The location is a decent size, it's pretty big but it has a portion closed off. This was my first time visiting this brewery, and it really surprised me with the quality of brew not only in taste, but also in overall feeling after drinking. I love beer, but beer does not love me. My stomach in my older age prevents me from hitting it as hard as I wish, but I enjoyed a flight from TrustedGut without any stomach issues. I have not experienced that with any other breweries, and the variations of drinks were all similar in amazing quality! The person working behind the bar did a great job of explaining their brews and what they were known for. The brewery was easy to find and had ample parking. I was sad that the previous brewery was gone. However, I wasn't disappointed with this place. On a Sunday, it was packed. Service was very nice and the beers were solid. None of the beers really stood out to me but they have a good selection and also have hard kombucha. The space was great. They have a section of games and two sets of corn hole outside. Bathrooms were clean. This place is called TrustedGut because the owner has celiac and can't have gluten. She can drink all the beers they offer though! read more

Love this little spot! I've had a few of their beers, but the Mexican lager is my favorite. They also make great hard kombuchas. All of their beers are gluten reduced. They have a big projector and TVs for watching sports plus a ton of games for adults/kids. The old King Harbor Brewing location has been revived with TrustedGut in charge. Apparently they're serving both King Harbor and TrustedGut beers. The bartender explained it to me but I was confused a bit. Anyway, I'm just glad there's a new brewery in town. I know they just opened and the menu is still pretty small. So I got the orange hef. It was good. So I can't wait u til they expand the menu some more and do more with the taproom. It's a nice big space so let's see what they do. We have the PintLife passports and discovered a hidden gem. Alejandro was our bartender. He was absolutely wonderful. He asked if we needed high chairs (we had 4 kids under 4 in our group ). He was knowledgeable about the selection of beers, was very attentive clearing empty glasses and busing tables. It was pretty busy since the Dodgers and Lakers were on, but the place was spotless; which will always impresses me as a former server. The beer wasn't heavy and leaving you with a bloated feeling afterwards. The blonde was a standout, award winning for a reason. I was also swayed by the passionfruit ginger kombucha, not overly sweet or sour. The real hidden gem was the board games and FREE arcade games. Entertainment for everyone. Unfortunately for our group, we went on an all vegan food night and the three food options were not good. There's so much great vegan food available now, but these vendors missed the mark. But the real deal breaker was the DJ. As soon as he started, the social vibe died. What followed was hours of earsplitting drone. And the dude refused to take requests. No more socializing, talking, laughing, or games, just the DJ blasting noise in our faces. We settled our bills and went somewhere else. I noticed that the vegan/DJ combo is listed on their calendar every Saturday. Big shame. Especially since we're locals always looking to support Redondo spots. read more
