    Garlic knots

Great pizza spot with El Segundo brewing taps. All the pizza chicks are very good with the soft doughy slices. We got the half cacio e pepe and surfin bird that was delicious and not too greasy. The garlic knots were great with the marinara sauce along with the Caesar salad. The staff was super nice and attentive and were quick in getting our trays and trash out of the way while we enjoy the meal and chatted. The atmosphere is very much a pizza parlor shop but with casual vibes and sports to watch.

I'm going to start with the customer service first because it was excellent! The person who took my order took the time to explain some of the more exotic pizzas to me and was so nice about it. The person who brought my pizza was equally nice! Inside there are picnic type tables and outside as well. I tried a slice of White Pizza with thinly sliced potatoes and bacon. It was good, but probably not worth repeating. The Pepperoni was the winner and I really enjoyed it. The crust is thin (the way I like it) and overall the pizza was good.

Order at the counter and everything is brought to the table. Drinks come fast and the pizza takes a minute. But get the pan pizza. It's worth the wait. All pies were delicious and had very interesting toppings. It got pretty crowded but no one had any issues getting cozy. Well worth the stop.

Had this at a family dinner the other night and came for my own the next day. I've never had a deep dish this good, I am impressed! Great crust

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The restaurant was busy, and the service was friendly and efficient. We snagged the last outside table on this beautiful October night. We started with the fancy olives and the garlic knots. The olives had a lovely citrus marinade giving them a fancy and sassy vibe. The garlic knots were so buttery that I had to go back in for another. That doesn't mean the pizza wasn't incredible. This is the kind of pizza I always hope for when I try a new place. It's crispy, it's chewy, it's tasty and no matter how full you feel, you want more. In the the, I had to decide whether to finish the garlic knots or eat another slice and the knot won. This was definitely one of my favorite pizzas of all time.

Good pizza but no Sunday Ticket. Went on a Sunday for some pizza and football. Had some wings and pizza but quickly realized only the locally televised games were available. We had our beers and food, then scooted off to the next place to watch the games. Pizza was good though - maybe on a non-football day.

Great spot for some delicious pizza! You can get a big pizza for a decent price and it may be high up there but it is well worth it! Service was great as well. The staff brings you your pizza and orders. The beer menu is solid as well. It can get busy so be ready for that but the pizza makes it all worth it! The shop has a cool vibe as well! Highly recommend!

We can never decide so a split is always a good choice!

For El Segundo, this is our favorite pizza spot! Great flavors, crust and "under carriage" is perfectly structured, and of course there is beer. This place can get busy! The only gripe I have is that the second seating area where you go down three stairs or so always has this weird funky smell. Anyhow, this is a must stop spot when we're around here!

I've been frequenting Slice and pint for almost 5 years now and they never disappoint. I have a Pizza Club gathering bi Monthly and we all enjoy their Pizza every time. They are extremely consistent which is a Big Plus for me. The manager Brittany is so accommodating and friendly. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. I Highly recommend Slice and Pint.

    Cheese Pizza.

My buddy was raving about this place, and I really wanted to try it. We stopped in on Thursday for some late lunch. He ordered a cheese pizza, and we had Cokes to drink. How was it? Cheese Pizza- Really solid slice. Great crisp on the bottom, pick up and eat without any flop. Could have used a little more cheese, honestly. Crust was good, but was too "light". It didn't really have that much chew. This pizza is really thin, too. So thin, you could probably house a whole cheese pizza in one sitting. For the $25 price per cheese pizza, a little bit steep IMO. All said and done, one of the better slices I have had in Los Angeles, and I would come back to try some other pizzas. Just bring your wallet, son!

Yummy pizza in the middle of El Segundo, The Slice and Pint nails the essentials with thin, crunchy crust and delicious toppings. The pizza took a little longer to come because the pizza came out with a hole in the middle, but we were compensated with free beer refills so it was all good.

Ask the Community - ESBC The Slice and Pint

Is there still a large patio area?

There are about 5 or 6 large tables along Grand, and a patio area out back, off Richmond Street.

Do they play the football games on sundays?

Yes. The second indoor seating section has several TVs that are usually for sports

Are they dog friendly for outdoor seating?

    Yes!

Do they offer any special discount days?

I visit occasionally from outside of the community so I don't really know. I haven't done the research. I do know that their selections of pizzas and beverages are both delicious and flavorsome.

Do they have board games and such?

They do! A few different kinds and shuffle board

I see they have rotating pizza port. Does anyone know if they ever have Mongo IPA?

    Not right now.

The food itself was decent -- the pizza was good, and the chicken-broccoli alfredo had nice flavor, though I do wish the toppings were a bit fuller, but I understand that's their set policy. The team working the floor was genuinely kind. They greeted us with smiles, kept the dining area clean, and offered great customer service. Up until the owners arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Once the owners came in, the energy shifted. They didn't acknowledge guests -- not even a simple hello or smile. Instead, there were blank stares that made the environment feel uncomfortable. I also overheard a private conversation between them and an employee right by the front counter, which really should've been handled in the back for everyone's comfort. Overall, the staff was lovely and the food was fine, but the presence and demeanor of the owners took away from the experience. I wish them well, but I don't think I'd return.

Food here over the years have evolved with some changes my wife and I wasn't too happy with after Cheesecake Factory bought them out. This last visit has reversed everything I didn't like about the changes and it literally has returned to its previous glory. Food was absolutely amazing this run! I came with my wife and mom (her first visit) and we ordered so much. Food: Braised Short Rib Marsala - The meat melts in your mouth. There's no way to describe how tender is and how easy it is to pull a piece away with your fork one handed. The polenta and mushrooms the ribs sit on have a super inviting taste. My wife doesn't like truffle sauces and that be the only thing I would switch out. Other than that the vegetables were still crispy but easy to chew. Perfect dish all around. Wild Shrimp Scampi is a must order for me. The shrimps are jumbo sized with a mix of flavors that's been improved since a few months ago. It's no longer swimming in grease and a joy to eat with the generous slices of toasted garlic bread. Burrata - Sweet vinaigrette, large chunks of fresh ripped tomatoes, crunchy toast and arugula is a 100% must order. The burrata cheese melts in your mouth. Ambiance - very lively and celebratory loud, this place is perfect for a fun date, a family gathering or even just to feel energize and enjoy an amazing atmosphere Service - Service at over the years have had hits and misses but the last 3 visits have been straight up amazing. Our latest server was with James again which was the server that first waited on us and made us feel welcome many years before pandemic years. He hasn't changed a bit and remains charismatic giving benchmark setting service. This was my mom's first visit and he really impressed her that she is now ok with us traveling 25 miles to eat here again lol. Managers and the host Friday night "Treya" not sure on spelling was awesome taking care of us. It's been a joy to see the menu improve by so much and all around service being so good again. Previous visits, Gunner and Wyatt (welcome back) are at the top of my short lists in best of the best in service. The staff here is why I spent 80% of my north Italia visits here. The other 20% at the Irvine location. Have yet to try the Torrance one. I remember many years ago a manager I believe "Lisa" turned us into regulars here forever. Looking forward to my next visit! The crust tasted really fresh and had a nice softness. I also ordered a slice of their Chicago style, and think that this is where this place really stands out. This is not just thick fluffy crust that is being called Chicago crust -- here it's real Chicago crust which is more cakey, bready, buttery than what other places usually claim is Chicago crust. They put the toppings on the bottom and then the sauce, just like you're at Lou Malnati's or another Chicago place. I love that they sell it by the slice(!) for their flavor of the day. This is unusual as you usually have to buy a whole pie for Chicago deep dish crust. Service was excellent, they really take care of you here and want you to be happy. There's a real chew here--a springy, structured bite that gives just enough resistance before yielding. It's deeply satisfying and makes every dish feel more intentional. The cappelloni shows it off best: that almost-famous sauce wraps around each piece, but the pasta holds its own, so you get that perfect balance of silky and structured. Same with the tangiello--the meat sauce tastes like it's been simmering for days, rich and layered, but the noodles never get lost because that chew carries through. The Caesar isn't an afterthought either. It's got a subtle spicy kick that wakes everything up, and if you add chicken, it's done right--well-seasoned, nicely grilled, juicy with a bit of char. Being a Brussels Sprouts fan, I really enjoyed their roasted crispy Brussels sprouts that were tossed in schiaffoni dressing and finished with sesame. Equal in deliciousness were their Meatballs. The Meatballs were tender, rich and saucy. These starters were a great way to kick off our meal here. For our mains, we got their Paccheri Lisci and Tonnarelli. The Paccheri Lisci had a bit of a spicy kick to it. It has spicy pork sausage sugo, fennel, sage and pecorino. It was meaty and flavorful. The Tonnarelli or Cacio e Pepe contrasted nicely with the Paccheri Lisci. This pasta dish was simple, sharp and peppery. This was more bold versus saucy. Last but not least we had some cookies for dessert. I loved the fresh baked snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies. It was a sweet and perfect ending to the meal here. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Jame Enoteca. I am now looking forward to trying out their sister restaurant Jame Taqueria down the street.
