Peaceful dogs enjoying the sights.

The homemade turkey sausage. So good. I get it by itself with spinach and other veggies-- marinara is too acidic for me. That sausage is delish. The garlic knots are also to die for. So much cheese, so much butter. So bad but so good. Then there's the traditional NY pizza, and other Italian food, but I always get the same things. Somehow im back to the turkey sausage. Not spicy, nice flavor. Mmmmm. Plus, this is a nice family owned business with nice people doing good work. I'm happy to have found them in my after work search for a beer, then pizza, then I found the sausage, and now it's my place. I'll see you there!

Half pepperoni half cheese. Extra marinara.

Inside reminds me of Brooklyn NY. And before this review. People do need to understand pizza in Manhattan and pizza in Brooklyn are very different. "NY PIZZA" isn't just one part of NY. Let's get into it. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately. Asked what they recommend. They said the cheese or pepperoni. I ordered a whole cheese and pepperoni pizza with extra marinara. Pizza was done in a very timely manner. I sat inside to wait and just chilled. Had not a single issue. My order was 100% correct. Price wasn't too bad either. So why the 3 and not a 4 or 5? Dough tasted a bit off. The crust just wasn't tasting 100% too me. Compared to places I've been to IN NY. The cheese and marinara on the other hand? Perfect. Tastes exactly like NY. I will definitely return here and give it another go with other menu items. And maybe upgrade my star rating. I like that it's privately owned and operated. I do love to support local owned businesses any time I get the chance. Cleanliness: very clean Staff: no issues Decor: old style Brooklyn NY Food: definitely better then dominos etc lol Bathrooms: N/A didn't use them

Cheese slice

The place looked interesting but the food was a letdown. I had eggplant pasta which turned about to be what tasted like canned spaghetti. The sauce seemed watered down and very little eggplant. My salad was also very average. I tried a cheese slice but didn't like it and there was very little sauce on it. I would rate 2 stars as the prices are higher but the guy working there was friendly and professional so I bump to 3 stars. Not a repeat visit for me.

This is a large pizza that was ordered, which was 30+ dollars with just a handful of pepperoni
Robert R.

The customer service was awful and the goods sold are not what is paid for If I pay $30+ for a LARGE pepperoni pizza I would think it would have more than a handful of pepperoni

The trash was overflowing, the toilet seat covers were smashed into the inserts, and there was paper all over the floor. Bathroom: 1/5. I sat down, and the menus were already on the table. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to order, so we started with a lemonade and a tea. We ordered the Clobster roll with fries, and I ordered the Connecticut Style lobster roll with no fries and a side salad. The side salad with ranch dressing definitely hit the spot! Unfortunately, the Cajun shrimp roll didn't do it for me. It needed more flavor and mostly tasted like mayo. After two bites, I decided not to eat it and gave it to my son. He enjoyed his meal, though! I also ordered another lobster roll to go, along with a soda and fries, for a friend of mine who works down the street at the barbershop. I was also gifted a juice and a huge cookie, which was a nice touch! If there's one thing I'd change, it would definitely be the bathroom. Other than that, I enjoyed the TVs, the overall look and feel of the place, the area, and especially the guitars and décor. Those details really gave the restaurant some character. Would I come back? Yes -- but I'd definitely try something different next time. Thank you, Rudy! Overall rating: 3.8/5

This is a great spot in October 2026. My wife and I came in on a weekday evening dinner. We went in…read morearound 6p and it wasn't too busy. We were able to sit on the patio and people watch as we enjoyed our food. We got 3 items: the sausage platter, the ceviche and we shared the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The sausage platter featured 3 different sausages and came with some delicious Dijon mustard and our favorite some pickled radish. We enjoy most pickled, sauerkraut, kimchee and coleslaw style cold side dishes. The ceviche was decent, but what especially stood out was the bread chips that came with the Ceviche to scoop the ceviche with. Finally, the Philly cheesesteak stole the show. It featured cheese meat and onions, but what was especially delicious was the bread. It was soft and lightly toasted. Later I learned they add a garlic aioli sauce that really brings this sandwich to light. They do have a sign outside that says "best breakfast burrito in Redondo beach" outside and you can only get this burrito on the weekends from 10a-Noon. We had to test this out so we waiting til the weekend to try and got the breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. The burrito was good, but I wouldn't say it's the best in Redondo beach. The highlights I've come to learn are the garlic aioli sauce that is featured in the Philly and the breakfast sandwich. Very impressive. We will be back to try their lunch specials throughout the week.

Apparently, everyone else in the South Bay had the same idea because the place was absolutely humming. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, just be patient. Fortunately, we had reservations and were quickly seated in a roomy table tucked away in the back corner. It turned out to be prime real estate: enough privacy for conversation, but still a great vantage point to take in the entire restaurant. The patio out front might be even better, though, if you're into people-watching. Catalina Avenue on a Friday night offers no shortage of entertainment. But for our group, this table was perfect. The interior has a warm, industrial feel, exposed brick, dark wood, metal accents, garage-style doors, and televisions scattered throughout. Oddly, the Dodgers game wasn't on. Maybe they don't get SportsNet LA. I never bothered to ask because the conversation at our table was far more enjoyable. Let's address the elephant in the room: Friday-night service. The place was packed, and our server was clearly running a marathon. He's usually stationed behind the bar, sports a sleeve of tattoos, looks super fit, and carries a permanent smile. He worked hard all evening, but there were some significant stretches where my Ikasu Ikasu West Coast IPA ($11) sat empty with no rescue in sight. A man can only stare sadly at an empty pint glass for so long. We started with the poutine fries, crispy fries loaded with gravy, skirt steak, mornay sauce, Gruyère, and green onions. They were outstanding and disappeared so quickly that I remembered to take a photo only after the massacre had already occurred, see my picture, LOL. Our server redeemed himself with his entrée recommendation: The Philly. Thinly sliced ribeye, grilled onions, sweet and hot peppers, house sauce, all piled into a sesame roll. It was fantastic, messy, savory, and exactly what you want from a cheesesteak. My wife paired a Harmonia Mango Wheat ($11) with the Blue Cheese Avocado Burger ($20), a hefty seven-ounce burger topped with melted blue cheese, grilled onions, avocado, applewood bacon, and arugula. She was a happy camper. Our friends split the same burger and also ordered the hummus appetizer, adding filet mignon on top. Excellent call, I snuck a few bites! To their credit, at the end of the evening our server came back to the table, apologized for the pacing, and made amends with a complimentary Crafted Cookie: a warm chocolate-chip cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. At the end of the day, restaurants are about more than perfect timing and topped-off beers. They're about sharing stories, laughing with friends, and breaking bread with people you enjoy being around. The service had its ups and downs, but the food was solid, the atmosphere lively, and Riviera Village on a summer Friday night is hard to beat.
