Great pizza for the area. Having lived on the east coast for awhile, it doesn't measure up to the pizza out there, but def a go to around here. The crust is nice and chewy, though it could be slightly more dense. Toppings are somewhat sparse too.

My kids and I are visiting from Washington and my brother recommended this pizza. Basically threatening me to go. And I'm so glad we did. The pizza could have been average and I would still review it highly. The employees were so nice and went above and beyond to interact and give us excellent service. Even going as far as to give us drinks which was so unexpected. When we visit again you bet your butt we will be back for more!

Went back twice. And each time, the pizza is so freaking tasty. I always get the dfresh which is their version of a Bianca/white sauce pizza, the Serrano peppers just perfectly complementing the more creamy flavor of the pizza. The guys are always cool and welcoming. I've ordered on the phone for pick up and still super fresh and piping hot when I picked it up. Literally, in my household, if we go out for pizza, it's redwood pie. Can't wait for another pizza night

The pizza at this place is very good. I got the lunch special which entails a 2 slice choice with arugula salad with a drink of choice. The slices and salad were served on the a cardboard plate which is neat. There's seating inside and outside for dining which is nice. The staff was very nice and the space is very open and inviting. I got the classic pepp and D-Fresh. The sourdough crust was cooked very well and chewy. The flavor of the pizza was great and not greasy at all.

This is a small pizzeria with an open kitchen and minimal seating inside and a small patio outside. You could see directly into the kitchen and it's immaculate. This is an order at a counter and they will bring out your food kind of place. I found the person taking my order to be really cool and accommodating. We ordered two pies, a large and a small. The small pie is more than enough for one person. The large pie could easily feed 3 to 4. They are all thin crust with a beautiful char. For the large pie, we had a half margarita and half pepperoni. It was super tasty. For the small pie I ordered the one with sausage and pickled serrano peppers. It's been weeks since I've had that pizza and I still think about it. Don't sleep on that one. Bottom line: I wish I lived closer to the place. I will be back if I'm in the area.

Delicious thin crust pizza.

Redwood Pie serves great pizza--definitely the highlight here. The crust, toppings, and overall quality were all spot on. If you're just after really solid pizza, you're in the right place. That said, a few things kept it from being a full 5-star experience for me. There's no beer (which is always a bummer when you want to kick back with a cold one), indoor seating is pretty limited, and the overall vibe felt a bit uninspiring. I tend to gravitate toward places like the one in El Segundo where you can hang out, enjoy a beer, and make a night of it. Still, for a quick and tasty pizza fix, Redwood Pie definitely delivers. Just not quite the hangout spot I was hoping for. 4 stars

Half e-money, half d-fresh

The pizza is thin crust, no frills, basic toppings, with quality ingredients. They usually don't do split but since it wasn't busy they let us do split. I like the d-fresh (white colored one). That one with sausage and chiles is amazing. We got an overdose of pepperoni toppings (one was pepperoni and sausage, and the other is e-money) and they were a bit greasy for me. I would come back and get the no sauce pizza. They have 3 tables outside you can sit with your dog. Most people did takeout. Pizza took about 12-15 minutes to bake. No bathrooms available.

This little hole in the wall pizza place was so delish! We walked up to the counter ordered our food and beverage and the owner said he would bring it out in 15 minutes. We sat outside in the area they shared with a cafe next door. It was shaded and comfortable. The pizza was so delicious and the arugula salad was incredible

Pepperoni and Sausage Pie

Wow a good pizza spot? Kind of rare out here in California, anyway we got their sausage and pepperoni pie, they got those cupped pepperoni's along with some solid sausage. Crust was nice and puffy. It was a little on the greasy side but it's ok, the bread here is thin as a paper, which isn't my favorite but it also isn't bad. Overall the flavor was there and the ingredients tasted quality. Pepperoni and Sausage Pie: 8.0

Great place! So happy that Redwood Pie is 6 minutes from my house! I ordered the pepperoni and sausage and I must say this is the best pizza in the South Bay! The sourdough crust was thin and crispy and with all the toppings, the crust wasn't soggy in the middle. Delicious!

A few days ago, I found this new pizza place on Yelp. The pizzas looked so good I knew we should come give them a try. Today, hubby & I came for the pizza. They offer a 12" & 16" pie. The menu is limited to pizzas, a salad, and beverages. The signage on the building says Pizzas, Salads, Sandwiches, and Ice Cream. Maybe they'll update the menu soon. We decided to get the 12" Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza. We ordered, paid, and then decided to take a seat outside on the patio. There are about 8 bar height seats available inside. When the pizza was ready, a staff member stuck his head out of the door and called our name and hubby went inside to pick it up. The pizza was super delicious! We truly enjoyed the Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza! I like the little Pepperoni slices they use. The crust is thin, crispy yet chewy. I don't usually eat much of the crust, but I ate most of it! I read on Infatuation.com that they use a Sourdough for the crust. We bring our own Hot Honey and added it to the pizza which made it all the more tasty!! We will definitely be back! We want to try other variations, too! We may also want to order a half and half so we can try more different pizzas on the menu!

The recommended sandwiches per the menu are Chicken Parm, Italian Combo, Meatball, Mickey's Combo, Sauce & Cheese, and Turkey. They also sell pizza slices, salads, deli items, hot dishes, and dinners. *** Large Chicken Parmigiano (Breaded Chicken, Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese and Parmesan Cheese, French roll - $17.50): Crunchy French roll and the portion was large enough to split into two meals. Flavor profile was alright and nothing too exciting. *** It's an a-ok grab-and-go deli shop, but I wouldn't drive out of the way for sandwiches with other better Italian deli shops in LA.

This location has quickly become favorite, as it hosts a variety of events throughout the week, but…read morethe best part is the food and beer selection! The pizza is always amazing, regardless of the slice I order. Cooked well and the single slice is a decently large portion, and they have a rotating special slice of the month that is different than their pizzas on the menu. Their arugula salad is one of my favorites, as it comes with just enough dressing (lemon and olive oil) that it coats everything just right and then is topped with so much cheese!! The beer selection is great as well, and they carry local brewery beers, which are rotated out seasonally. My favorite being the Snugglebug from Smog City! It does not taste like a beer, more so a delicious berry beverage. The selection of permanent beers they have is also extensive. The service is always great and the location has a lot of seating available. Plus the parking lot is large, so parking easy!

Last night our little league hosted an end of the season party at SP. They seated us in the back…read moreroom and communicated that we must order individually from the front register. I had a few things I wanted to set down in the room before ordering. While I was back there, a kid came back and said he would take our orders from the to go register right by the room. So, I walked over to place my order. As I was finishing up my order, I noticed that he charged me a "large party" fee that came out to almost $18. But I was only ordering for myself and my kids! When I brought this up, he said everyone in our party would be charged a large party fee because we are a large party. Look, I'm all for service workers making a fair wage and even getting perks like a large party bonus if you are in fact SERVING THE PEOPLE IN THE PARTY! That's not how SP works though. There is ZERO service beyond someone taking your order at a register and then delivering it to your table. Literally nothing beyond that. Bare minimum. Bottom of the barrel "service", and charging a FEE simply because you're sitting with some friends is bewildering. We were all on separate tabs because, again, you are forced to order at a register... just like you are at any other fast food establishment. A few people in our "large party" mentioned that they didn't have to pay a fee when they ordered from the front. So after a short back and forth with the kid who was taking my order at the back register, I decided I would order from the front instead. When I told him that's what I was going to do, he then told me "then you can't eat back here with your friends. You must eat up front with everyone else". He said it was "policy". When I finally asked to speak to a manager, he said they don't have a manager and shooed me away with his hand!!!! When I finally got to the front of the line at the front register, I complained to the girl who was taking my order and asked for clarification on the policies of the establishment. She was SO HELPFUL AND KIND and all of a sudden there WAS a manager for me to speak to... she OFFERED his assistance without me even having to ask. When I spoke with the manager, he assured me that the "policy" that was communicated to me before is only in place for LARGE PARTIES WHO ARE BEING WAITED ON. Finally someone who understands! Anyway, I was able to order without a fee but I was so incensed, I only ordered a fraction of what I planned on ordering. And I absolutely will never give this place another chance because the food is mid and the service is garbage. No one should have to fight unfair "policies" for a slice of pizza and some garlic knots. The manager I was able to finally speak to, said he refunded the knots and my drinks but didn't offer an amended receipt and I have yet to see that refund on my card. TLDR: don't go here. They have whack "policies" that are poorly communicated to their staff and lie about not having a manager on duty. The pizza is mid and the "service" is non existent.

I was surprised how pricey their pizzas are. The Chicken Parmigiana Pizza sounded unique, so we decided to try this one. It has fried breaded chicken breast, fresh basil, and mozzarella. There were small pieces of scattered chicken parmigiana across the pizza. They were very thin pieces, and it mostly tasted like end pieces with a lot of batter. Pretty dry too. There was also zero basil on the pizza. Thought it might be hidden under the cheese, but it wasn't there either. Pretty pricey for what you get. The pizza took a really long time to make considering there was only one other person waiting for their order. I think they forgot about us because it wasn't until some time after the other person waiting had left that they asked us if we were waiting for an order. Once we got our pizza, it was super hot. Beware, don't just bite into it right away like I did and burn yourself! There are some tables in the back where you can eat your pizza. They have a few TVs, but when we were there, they had the read aloud setting on...but it was on the movie selection screen, so it just kept saying the same one liner in a robotic voice over and over again. Pretty annoying. Several employees walked through the area but didn't change it or turn off the TVs, so I'm assuming they're just used to it?
