The service is horrible the staff is homophobic and aggressive I was there with some friends and I overheard the staff talk about a customer that walked in. It was 30 minutes till closing and they turned them away. I don't know if this is an on going situation but it needs to be addressed. the business is losing money anytime they turn away a patron and I'm sure they don't want a reputation for being discriminatory as it is there's not a lot of diversity In the establishment. This review was based on a 2 hour visit to Naja's Place on a Saturday night. My friends and I came from a nearby wedding, looking to extend the party a bit. We looked online and found Naja's Place, and a friend called to find that they were open until 2 AM. We walked from the wedding venue. It is located in a bit of a busier area in the Marina district. It is probably the only part of Redondo Beach that has businesses that are open late, as things tend to close early around there. It is basically a beer bar. I don't drink beer. I was happy to see that they had hard cider and champagne splits on the menu. Coming from a wedding, I was more in the mood for champagne, so my husband and I ordered a couple of splits. The bar itself wasn't anything too special. They did happen to have an 80's cover band playing that night. I do love 80's music and appreciate bars that support local bands. However, that night we really wanted to talk with our friends and couldn't hear a thing. Even when the band stopped playing, the music was too loud for us to talk. My husband and I chose to end the night a bit early and go somewhere we could talk. All in all, I like that they have more than beer, it was open late, and that there was a live band, but it was a pretty average bar experience. read more

This is just a great dive bar. It's been 25 years since I have been here. Thank God it has not changed. It's great sitting on the Marina. It's like coming home. Did not eat but the food that the people next door had looked great. We should have had lunch here that were we did. Walking distance from the hotel. Go support Locals. They probably still have bands on the weekend. read more

Last year on my Birthday I was treated with disgusting disrespect. I am diabetic and this causes you to have to urinate often. I'm not sure but I guess a patron reported that I had a trickle of urine roll down my shorts as I was heading to the restroom urgently due to diabetes. Instead of asking me my part of the incident they just cut me off all orders and ridiculed me on my Birthday and eventually kicked me out. I was mortified with the unfair treatment to a person with a medical disposition. I find these actions to be outrageous and unforgivable. read more

Endless beer taps!!! Pretty chill spot music is nice and loud only way to listen to Rock! Band playing was Koo guys get down! When i came to ask for another beeer the guy at the main bar said i was too drunk to ask for another beer. This place has lots of good memories for me. If you love beer be sure to check this place out. They always have a huge selection of beers that they rotate. With so many beers, it's super fun being able to pick a new beer with each round . Not a lot of places with this much selection. They are nice enough to give you a few samples if you can't commit, or pitchers if you can. Def a dive bar. Lots of regulars and locals. Weekends can get packed, especially in the summer. Stopped in for a pint and ordered a Park Smash Burger. What a tasty burger, crispy and tasty! Grilled patty topped with grilled onions, cheese and a garlic aioli on a fresh sesame bun! Opted for a side of ranch dusted onion rings as well to share. The burger was juicy, the onion rings slightly over done but crispy, crunchy and still delicious! The service is always nice here and the beers cold. Usually a nice view of King Harbor but today it was raining but perfect for a pint and a tasty burger! This place is a SouthBay Institution with capacity of 88 beers on tap though sometimes the tap list falls short when they run out or are waiting for deliveries. The Smashburgers are bomb! So is the friendly service and fun divey atmosphere. My fam loves the food here. Super casual right by the harbor area. We've tried the LA, Park Place, and my fave, the Island Burgers. These consist of double thin patties cooked to a nice char. We like the plain fries and this time tried the mozz sticks. These sticks are thick, melty with a crisp coating and a nice cheese pull. These look home cut too, not frozen. Of course you have to down at least one of the many beer selections here. We got Big Wave Dave this time. We parked by R10, a little faster and less dim than through the covered parking lot. Will be back again! read more

Najas is a gem. Would probably take you 6 months to a year to try every single beer if you had one a day from their never ending flow and tap. The burger is also pretty finger licking good if you're cool with a smash patty. Always the best beer selection in the Southbay. Plenty of seats and standing room, the bar food is exactly what you want in bar food. The view is killer, the ambiance is fun and easy going. There's live music often. The bartenders know their shit and the only draw back is how long it could take you to decide which of the 1,000 beautiful brews to try. They have excellent relationships with beer distributors and consistently have beers on tap that are not readily available to the average bar. read more

This place is fucked. I'm a local, and I live right next to here and have tried to come play pool here about 5 times. Every time I call to make sure they are open some grouchy rude bartender answers and claims that they are not open, or closing right now. Every time I call there it is 2-3+ hours before they're listed closing time. This most recent time I called it was at 10:30 on a Thursday, when they are open till 1. He answered and like usual, said they're closing right now. However, I could hear music playing, people talking,m, it sounded like a BAR. To whoever this bartender is- who does that? This is my favorite bar in the entire world by a significant margin. I don't want to be dramatic, but I want my ashes scattered at this bar. 88 drafts, a qualified staff, and incredible atmosphere. This is one of the few bars in the city where I would feel safe to leave my drink when I go to the bathroom. Bartenders care about women's safety, are vigilant about overly drunk patrons, and are all around genuinely kind and friendly people. Good pricing, good place, even better people. Every time I come here I meet or see some very interesting people! Like this past week, they had a reggae band playing, some very entertaining people dancing and just getting into the music, and amazingly random conversations from neighboring tables. I guess its hard not to since the tables are so close together, but everyone we bumped into (literally, bumped), were down to earth and friendly. Maybe it was that reggae vibe. Maybe it was the ice cold IPA. Whatever it was, it was good times. Beer here is pretty good. They keep it cold and they have a good draft list. Can get crowded at times but for some reason, everything works out. The food is also decent. We normally just get shareables but its perfect beer munchie food. Anytime we're chillin in the area, Naja's is the first place we hit to loosen up. Cheers! read more

Liked the atmosphere here and the live music but holy Jesus! The men's bathroom is an absolute horror show. With dirty and out of service urinals, no paper towels or hand dryer. Leaky toilets and wet floors; It made me question the cleanliness of the food. Yuck! read more

My husband loves beer and we came here for their huge selection on tap. We were pretty disappointed with the actual selection. So many familiar beers that can be found a lot anywhere. I hear they often have a different selection, so maybe we just went on a bad day. Staff was friendly, the place was pretty empty. But it was also a Tuesday around 4pm. Music was pretty bad.
