Came here with a group of girlfriends on a Friday night and it was definitely busy. The bar itself isn't very large, so the later you arrive, the more crowded and tight it gets. There's a long side bar, which made it easy to order drinks even with the crowd. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and quick with service. They also have two dart boards in the back that are free to use, but it's first come, first serve so if you want to play, plan to get there earlier in the night. Rizza from The Fox and Farrow sent us over and it was the best recommendation. I had been wanting to come here since they opened and I'm glad we finally did. A great new addition to the neighborhood! The Fox Den redid and upped the ante with swag from the entrance to the drinks. When entering the Fox Den you're greeted by a fur wall that you just can't help running your fingers through. Great ambiance and decor, met by a talented bartender mixing up some signature cocktails, that are a bit pricey for a neighborhood joint (and verses the previous proprietor Pats II) Full bar seating with little tables to chill, darts and music over the sound system. We tried to explain and apologize, with loud music blasting, that it was an accident, but he continued to curse us out. Terrible. DO BETTER! We are local, and tipped well all night too. What a perfect addition to the South Bay! I've been on the hunt for a bar with this kind of vibe and quality drinks & I'm so glad we finally have one!! The location is ideal, surrounded by amazing restaurants, making it the perfect spot for a post-dinner drink. The first time I visited (on a weekday) there was only one table left and every seat was taken, but it still didn't feel chaotic. The last time I came, it was packed to the point where you could barely move but the drinks are sooo good that it was still worth it! I tried this lounge last night (Saturday night) and it gets really packed. You're lucky if you score a seat, but they do have comfortable lounge chairs that my boyfriend and I sat in. The crowd is older, (30s-50s). A lot of couples. A dj came on later in the night and the music is great. They have two dart boards that no one seem to give any attention to. The bartenders are attentive and make good cocktails. They don't serve food, it's strictly cocktails and beer. I suggest arriving early or going on a week night. When I left around 10 pm there was a line out the door with a man checking IDs in the front. A great place for a girls night or date night but there isn't much place to stand so try to arrive early to find seating! read more

My wife came home last week and said there's a new bar we needed to try because her friends can't stop talking about it at work. Such a cute cocktail bar. This is the spot where you either start or finish your night...or BOTH. The cocktail menu is extensive and each concoction is delicious. The service is on par. Seating arrangement is limiting because there are three areas for parties larger than four, otherwise there is the bar or you're stuck sitting in a pod of four chairs. Luckily, we got there as they opened so we were able to secure one of the larger areas for our party of 5 or it would have been awkward having the 5th person stand or sit on arms of a chair. I mean...if you're into this sort of thing... Used to be a badass dive bar with character. Now it's trying to play dress-up as an "upscale cocktail lounge", but their "signature craft cocktails" are just sad, overpriced versions of what you'd expect from a gas station happy hour. Watered down, no balance, no flavor. One drink tasted like someone whispered the name of a fruit into a dirty glass and poured flat well liquor over ice. Speaking of dirty glasses...yep, we got one. Awesome. Even worse, one of the bartenders was inexplicably rude to the incredibly kind, patient couple sitting next to us. No reason. Just snide and dismissive. It was uncomfortable to witness. Couldn't hear myself think over the loud music. Zero vibe, no soul, just expensive fluff masquerading as a vibe. Pat's II may have had sticky floors, but it had heart. This? Sorry to say, but this is just noise...to me, anyway. But, hey, it might be your thing. Check it out, decide for yourself. From what I hear, the owners are pretty cool people, so I'm not knocking what they tried to create from the bones of Pat's. Their vision has potential, maybe we just came on a bad night. read more

The Bar tenders need some training they give off a vibe like they are better then everyone else! Service is horrible. Great service at the bar. Friendly bartenders and great drinks. Many of their custom cocktails are just renamed standard drinks, but that's fine, and they are well made with fresh ingredients. The place looks like a dive from the outside, but is really clean and upscale on the inside. The crowd is similarly young to middle-age upscale and isn't too crowded at an early 8-9pm hour.
