    Chicken Palermo and chicken risotto

The vibes were a solid 10/10! Our server Omar was the sweetest guy and super helpful! The food is classic Italian and very saucy. We got the chicken Palermo and chicken risotto.

We love Broginos. The chicken Parm is the best in the south Bay. And Omar is the best server that anyone could ever ask for. When you come here, you are family.

New to Redondo Beach decided to give Brogion's A try I'm glad I did As soon as I walked in I could smell fresh garlic bread And the décor reminded me of a Italian restaurant in little Italy back east I was greeted by the staff and properly seated We were immediately greeted by a server Omar and asked If we wanted drinks We were a party of 4 we order Espresso Martinez Before the server could even bring the Martinez to the table we got A fresh order of hot garlic bread As are server Omar drops off the Express martini's I took a sip and they were perfect Server proceeds to take our order With a smile and a great attitude What I liked was you get soup and salad With your entry Salad was very cold and crisp with a good Italian dressing the soup was very delicious The entrees were brought out In a very timely manner Everyone thought their meal was delicious I had the chicken piccata and I thought it was very good highly recommended Overall great atmosphere service was Top notch Delicious espresso Martinez Really good chicken piccata And THE garlic bread was

    Great place for date night.

I was craving in Italian and looking for a place that was open past 8 o'clock. I've been here once before many years ago, and have been meaning to go back. It was a weekend and quite busy including the bar. We didn't have a reservation, but we're fortunate enough to get a quiet booth in the back after about a 15 minute wait. Great drinks, my martini was made to perfection. So many options on the menu, and you can add soup and salad to your meal, but we opted anla carte because we filled up on the complimentary garlic bread. I ordered the salmon and it was amazing. This is a great spot for a late night dinner or date night.

Italian sausage and pasta, my kid loved it! Pandemic take-out, no dine in right now.

I LOVE BROGINO'S! The food, service and ambiance are next level. Never disappoints. LOVE - 5 Stars!

I really enjoyed the complete meal with garlic bread, salad, and soup in addition to pasta. The salad was very good and nothing like I've had before at an Italian restaurant. The soup also was something I could see one eating as their meal. The pasta I got was bow tie with their secret sauce. It wasn't as good as it sounded based on the description, a little too much going on and the consistency was a bit off. But it was still enjoyable overall. The service was good and restaurant was smaller but I really liked all the decor.

    Atmosphere

Came to have family dinner here and was charmed by the atmosphere. Our waiter Omar was very friendly, helpful, and super chill. The food was also very good we got pasta and the sauce was amazing. I would describe it as herby, homey, and cozy. Comfort food I'd be going back to again for sure.

I just remember waiting quite a long time since the house was packed on a Friday evening. Came today (also on a Friday evening), and they asked if we made a reservation, which felt silly because the restaurant was basically empty! Joined the waitlist anyways, we were the first in line, and they seated us like a minute later. I love the ambiance and bistro feel, especially the caligraphy on the walls and the open kitchen. The lights were flickering a bit, and it was slightly stuffy as well. The menu is designed beautifully; everything was designed to point to the food, pique interest. The Uni Truffle pasta was ok; couldn't make out either uni or truffle flavors, but it tasted great. It did leave a profound fishy aftertaste in my mouth though. From the one bite I had, I liked the Yuzu Peperoncino better; perfect balance of umami, tang, and spice. I remember appreciating the al dente noodles then, and I still appreciate it now. On the pricier side, I really do wish bread was offered (the only bread on the menu being $6 garlic bread for two slices). Great date spot, would come again for special occassions. Keep it up!

I WISH I LEFT A BIGGER TIP! .. and I hate tipping!…read more We just came back from Italy and had an amazing time there with the food we tried. Fatto a Mano sells pasta and pizza that takes us right back to Italy. If we ever miss that country, then this is the only place we have to go to satisfy any nostalgia. Marco is such an amazing host. He makes everything from scratch and is up front with how long it'll take for him to make your food. We got there right when it opened and the place filled up quickly. But he still made time to ask for our names and check in on us frequently. You can tell the customers love him because so many people came in and talked to him like they had known him for years. We got the carbonara and Estiva. The carbonara was perfect. Just like the way they make it in Italy. Al dente with the sauce perfectly integrated with the noodles. Generous with the ingredients and a flavor explosion with every bite. The Estiva is a pizza with basil pesto, yellow tomato confit, and "fior di latte' mozzarella. All I'll say is that it was delicious and any one who likes pesto needs to try this. Now, why do I wish I left a bigger tip? The delicious food would be enough but it was Marco! He addressed us by name every time he passed by. The most memorable aspect was when we were getting up to leave. He loudly said if we could please wait 5 minutes so that he could give us gelato for free! He was making it fresh as well so his machine needed some time. It was delicious! We threw our trash away and started to walk out, but then he told us to wait so that he could give us gelato again! I told him he already gave some to us and then he said we needed more... and that he insisted because "it is like 1000 degrees outside!" I'm guessing since they're coming to a permanent closure, it only makes sense that the quality of the experience (food and service) had began to going down. We were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. It took a bit of time for Daniel (yep! We got the same server from the last time) to come around and get our orders. It wasn't too bad since the wait gave us the opp to decide on apps and mains, so we got to put all our orders in at once. CALAMARI: Battered thin and crispy. Dash of lemon juice made it better. Quality? Yes. Quantity? Not so much. I thought it was pricey for the amount we got. PEPPERCORN POLPETTINE: Meatballs in cream sauce. Even with the whole peppercorns, the sauce was good. The meatballs, however, didn't taste or look homemade at all. (I recently made frozen meatball soup at home and the meatball's flavor was pretty much similar.) So.. meh... BRUSCHETTA ALLA CHECCA: This was the best app out of the three. Crostini was perfect and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. SPAGHETTI AI NERO DI SEPPIA: Looked great, but lacked flavor. Asked for fresh grated cheese and added black pepper which helped a little, but still missing something... Hubbers got the linguine pesca mare which he loved (he emptied his plate!) So I guess that says a lot. And I'm really glad he liked it, being his birthday and all. He also chose crème brûlée to finish off his birthday treat. (No, they didn't comp it - which is fine, and I don't expect them - or any business - to, even more since they are shutting down. I understand they need all the profit they can get.) Overall a little less stellar than the first visit. I'll admit I was a teenee bit disappointed since we had an amazing experience the first time. My husband had the Rob Gentile, an elevated Old Fashioned, and was thoroughly impressed. Service was great, and the food was top-notch. Let's dive in! Meatballs with beef, pork, ricotta, potato purée, tomato sauce, Grana Padano, and arugula--WOW. Cheesy, saucy perfection. Beef Tartare with tonnato, shallot, marjoram, crispy potato, and toast. Delicious and a generous portion. I ordered Coop's Pork Shank with Lambrusco-mustard glaze, aromatic jus, and potato purée. Tender, flavorful, and that broth was incredible. It paired perfectly with the broccolini... ...which we didn't order. We spotted the table next to us enjoying it with burrata and immediately added it to our "next time" list. My son ordered the Chicken Parm with capellini. He loved the huge chicken parm portion, which successfully fed his bottomless teenage appetite, but declared the pasta "too eggy." Teenagers are basically unpaid Michelin critics. My husband ordered the Scarpinocc with braised beef cheek, brown butter, sage, and saba. He loved it, but our resident food critic chimed in with, "I don't really taste the beef." Dessert was the cinnamon bread pudding with ice cream and caramel drizzle--absolutely worth saving room for. It felt like they were not prepared to be open on valentine's Day, and they went to Costco to get already prepared meals to sell at a higher price point. The Caesar salad was clearly from a bag, the vegetables were 100% frozen and re cooked, and the meat was as if it had been cut into smaller portions just to make a little bit go a long way. The most disappointing part is that they sell themselves as a mom and pop Italian restaurant... when in reality they are not and owned by a company that runs other franchisees. So, the lot know better... it was just a bust and we will not be returning.

We been there a couple of times and i wasn't wowed. service was good considering there were only 2 waiters and a busboy. Very friendly I might add. The bad: the calamari was not crispy. My sea bass was portion was just ok but small. The vegetables that came with it were not very good. This place is hit or mess to me because some items are ok but some or not. If it was up to me I would go elsewhere like Gaitanos near the Kohls on Crenshaw or even Buca de Beppo. Update: The halibut I had last night was very good, but I originally wanted to try their New York steak. The waiter said they were sold out already and it was only 6:00pm. Not acceptable.

It was with no doubt, one of the best pizzas I have tried, the mozzarella cheese was really good. I also tried the Guaraná drink, which is a Brazilian drink, really good. After we were done, we spoke with the owner, chef Marcus and another employee who were very friendly and you can tell they care about their clients and give the best pizza and experience possible. Definitely coming back, I'll bring my family and more friends because we really loved the pizza and the customer service. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered the truffle mushroom pizza and it was absolutely phenomenal. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside while still light and airy inside. The truffle flavor was rich without being overpowering, and the mushrooms were fresh and perfectly cooked. Every bite tasted balanced and authentic, like the kind of pizza you hope to find in a small Italian spot that truly cares about the craft. Then came the Nutella calzone, and that alone is worth the visit. Warm, perfectly baked dough with Nutella inside that melts just right. Sweet, indulgent, and honestly one of the best dessert calzones I have ever had. Also the best and most polite service, wonderful people. I have had a lot of pizza around Los Angeles, and this is easily one of the best I have tried. If you are in Redondo Beach and appreciate real quality pizza, this place is a must. Great flavors, great execution, and a spot I will definitely keep coming back to. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
