We came here for dinner one night and ordered a cheese pizza, dinner salad, ravioli dinner for two, and wings. The service is very friendly, it's clean, and food comes out fast. The cheese pizza was very cheesy and flavorful. The salad had olives and extras you normally don't see at pizzerias, and you can even get wine there. All in all, good food at a good price. We've been ordering take out from Georgio's since we moved into Redondo in 2011. Last night we tried a fancy new pizza shop in the area that has stellar Yelp reviews. While I enjoyed it - and probably would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't luke warm by the time we got it home - the rest of the family was less impressed. So, we decided to try Georgio's the very next night just so we could compare. Everyone preferred Georgio's. They don't have fancy toppings - you're not going to find burrata or prosciutto, for instance - but if you're craving something simple like a pepperoni, sausage and cheese pizza, Georgio's is a really good choice. Their 2 for 1 deal is a terrific value too. We originally planned to split just the salad, but after chatting with the friendly gentleman at the counter, we decided to add a small pizza. He let us add extra toppings for the same price, so we went with pepperoni, mushrooms, and sausage. The pizza did not disappoint. It had the perfect balance of sauce and a nice crispy bottom. The sausage was outstanding--full Italian flavor and easily five stars. The cheese was just right, blending well with the toppings and delivering a solid cheese pull with every bite. The antipasto salad was the main reason for our visit and it was more than enough for two people, loaded with a generous variety of fresh vegetables and meats. The ambience was warm and inviting, there was plenty of seating, and the service was genuinely friendly. We chose to dine in and really enjoyed the entire experience. I saw a coupon online for two medium pizzas up to three toppings the person on the phone was super sweet and patient. OOOOH how I miss living in the South Bay! That being said, on my latest visit, I stopped in Georgio's for a quick grab and go dinner. What I received was a small pie that packed a lot of punch of flavor. Paired with a wonderfully dressed salad, this was more that enough for one person... no seriously, two could share this pizza no problem! The absolute worst most atrocious meatball sandwich I have ever tasted in my entire life. Why have this on the menu if that is the quality of sandwich you are serving to your community? The crust was like cardboard, at best, the cheese & toppings were disconnected from the crust, which I've never experienced a pizzeria accomplishing before.
