I've been a patron for a few years now. Generally come in for the lunch specials. Pizza and salad or 2 slices. Occasionally I order a full pizza and salad for take out for the whole family. Needed somewhere to get a quick lunch during my workday and decided to order the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken . It was made in a timely manner, went and picked it up. For me it was Delicious, hit the hunger spot , very creamy. No regrets definitely will come back and try other things on their menu. read more

"I've been here before..." Then recognized the Chinese restaurant (I've been to a couple of times) a few yards away. But I was in the mood for pizza and wanted to try new digs. I went through their menu beforehand and knew exactly what I wanted: The Gourmet Pizza. Experience dictated parking can be a challenge more especially during the lunch rush, so I prepped for that. Got way lucky I found one near the front. Came through and a couple customers already waiting for their order. There were also a few takeout orders waiting to be picked up. Didn't see anyone dining in, so they're popular for to-go grub. Put my order in and took a seat. About ten (maybe fifteen?) minutes before my food was ready to go. Made to order is always a plus! Got back to work not too long after and my pie was still hot. Plenty of toppings and the thin crust was crispy at the outer layers. Each bite was savory and flavors from all the toppings came together nicely. I really liked it! I ordered a small but was only able to consume half. There was plenty for a second meal. FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 5. VALUE: 4. PARKING: Small Private lot up front, more in the back. Street also available. OVERALL: 4.5. The only little snag?! The pie was sliced into four pieces which were a bit too big for my personal preference. Will most likely request for 8 slices the next time. There will be a next time! I I would like to give this place 3.5 stars for the reason that 1. When you order online the burger says it has caramelized onions and mushrooms with thousand islands which I was looking forward to but instead they gave me a regular burger lettuce, tomato, onions, and lots of thousand islands. The burger was seasoned great and was very delicious but I really was looking forward to the caramelized onions and mushrooms. 2. The pizza looked super nice but for me everything had no flavor. The sauce was very plain , the dough had no flavor and was really tough, even the cheese had no flavor so it really let me down. Located across from the airport at the far north end of Main St is a small strip center off to the side. That's where you'll find them. Just ordered a cheese pizza with pepperoni, pineapple, and garlic for Postmates delivery (priority due to time crunch) to the Marriott at LAX. The pizza looked beautiful. It was a perfect temperature and consistency when it came... so it wasn't ruined by the time it took to deliver. It's around the corner, and it didn't take long. Location: ( does not contribute to my rating) the restaurant is located in a small plaza in el Segundo. There is a parking lot but it's shared with many other restaurants. It might or might not be easy to find parking right away. When we got there on a Saturday at 1:00 pm, there was parking. Restaurant: small restaurant that probably can fit like 4 small tables. Since this visit was during the covid-19 season, it's hard for me to determine the amount of people they can have inside. To me, it's like a pizza shop where you go buy to take out. Cleanness: (5*) Thank you to the staff for wearing mask and keeping the shop clean. Service(5*) The attention to the costumer was spot on. The cashier was nice with the people he interacted with. Food:(4*) I ordered a large pepperoni and pineapple pizza. Visual(3.8*):The shape of the pizza and the distribution of the topping on it looked how a pizza should look. However, the pizza was bathed with too much oil. Flavor(3.7*): The tomato sauce was spot on for me. The amount of sauce did not overtake any of the other flavors. The amount of cheese was perfect. They actually left it cheesy how I like my pizzas. As I already have said, the amount of topping that was distributed was good that it didn't feel too crowded when you eat it. But, the amount of oil make the experience too messy because it was dropping all over the place. As many other have said, the food value is excellent. I recently visited Giro Puzza to sample their NY style pizza. Ordered the 2 slice special, one pepperoni and one sausage. The slices arrived piping hot with parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes shahers. Other than the size of the slice, the slices were comparable in taste to NY traditiobak rhin cryst pizza. The crust was crispy and properly supported the ingredients. I plan on returning to Giro Puzza to order full pies in the future. BTW, I ate the slices on the property. Great pizza and delivered fast! I had to hike up in a close by Embassy Suites for the night to await my morning flight and had a craving for pizza. I found this place on Yelp and it had good reviews and good ratings although not as many ratings as others in the area.
