This place could be an easy 4 star for me but a few things held me back. Firstly, vegans basically need to plan to come here together, plan to eat a whole pizza, or plan to convince non vegans in your party to go in on a whole pizza with you. For one round Vegan Supreme pizza and one El Segundo Brewing Co. beer plus tip I spent about $50. The non vegans in my party bought pizza by the slice and paid about $13 for two slices. My pizza was good! But I didn't think it was great. The pizza had 8 extra lage slices and easily would have fed 4-5 people. So like I said, come here planning to split with others if you're a vegan, but if you're just here individually I don't think they ever sell vegan pizza by the slice. Even if there was one day that they did sell vegan pizza by the slice I could see myself giving this place 4 stars, since it's also really close to the beach which is a good location. Ordered online the "Pep" as a treat for my husband after picking him up from a long flight. Safe to say it was a great surprise. We ordered the Jalapeño ranch also. I could drink it. It was soo good. The pizza was also spot on! We ordered it double cut (hack for two folks and saving for later). Glad they are opening a location in Torrance so I can have one closer. I'm already a fan of Prime Pizza having eaten at another local location, so was happy to try the El Segundo location to my self-appointed pizza crawl before picking up family at nearby LAX. They do NYC style slices exactly right at Prime...perfectly thin and crispy crust with the right balance of cheese and sauce on the top. The Sicilian slice with its additional toppings and thicker but still perfect square pie based crust is a delightful add on. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Service was perfect in that sense. My NY cheese slice tasted good but as you can see from my photo came, umm, circumcised. So slightly less pizza than I'd hoped for...but other than that it tasted great and on brand with the other Prime location I was familiar with. If you enjoy pizza, this is a great place to go to go to. They offer pizza by the slice or various whole sizes. I came with four people, and we each got our own and devoured everything we had, including garlic bread. There is parking shared with a few other businesses. They were incredibly busy the entire time we were there, but seem to move people in and out very quickly. A lot of people seem to get things to go. Friendly service. Luckily, the store still had some individual slices, so my friends and I were able to grab some. We also ordered a whole sicilian pie. The butter chicken pizza was delicious! It came out hot and crunchy. I do wish there was a bit more of the butter chicken sauce, or a cup of it on the side I could dip into, as it didn't taste too much like butter chicken, more just like chicken and cheese, 8/10. The Sicilian was delicious as well. The big globs of ricotta were a nice touch, 9/10. I would definitely come back again for more pizza as the crust was super crunchy and the slices were huge. The staff were super friendly and kindly accommodated us when we learned the whole butter chicken pizza was sold out. Been to LAX literally 1000 times never had a chance to get over just a couple of blocks to try Prime pizza. So now that I've made it out here I realize how much I've been missing out on. They sell cheese and pepperoni by the slice also a few other veggie options. Other than that everything else is sold as a whole pie they also have a gluten-free option.. Very reasonably priced at four or five bucks a slice the pizza is excellent. Undercarriage was perfect. Take a look at the pictures no drooping, taste, cheese, dough all spot on. After seeing a video about Prime Pizza, I decided to check out their El Segundo location. This location is in a small plaza with its own parking area, and the inside is really cool, modern, clean, and a great neighborhood pizza vibe. Service was good too. I ordered two slices to go, one cheese and one vodka sauce. Both were really good. The crust was crispy with a nice amount of char, and the sauce was well balanced, not overpowering or overly sauced. The vodka slice especially stood out. Overall, this is easily one of the better pizza spots locally, and I'd definitely recommend it. read more

Finally got to try Prime Pizza recently and was very impressed! It's probably one of the best if not the best in the South Bay. The crust really reminded us of pizza in New York. Pizza: I ordered the supreme pizza which had black olives, sausage, red onion, pepperoni and cheese on it. It's a large pizza with minimal toppings on it. For almost $40 (Tip included), this should have had twice as much toppings for the size and price of the pizza. The flavor of their supreme pizza was missing the point of what you expect a pizza to taste like. This was just bread, some tomato sauce with a little bit of cheese and toppings that were MIA. Ordered late night delivery while staying at a hotel in the area. Pizza was made and delivered promptly, still piping hot. Requested utensils/pepper packets/napkins/plates were neatly packed in an additional bag as well. Portion was much larger than expected and slices were big and wide. Love, love, LOVE their Supreme pizza and buffalo wings!! So meaty and tasty and cheesy!! I like getting one for my hour and a half commute on the highway. Just put the box in the passenger seat and dump the buffalo wings on top and cover them with ranch dressing and you have the perfect commuter de-stresser. It gets a little messy but i slip into an old sweatshirt before the ride home cuz of all the stains. Also, the steering wheel gets super slick and greasy which is not optimal for driving so I make sure and have a big sani -cloth dispenser in the center console so I can clean up as I drive. Took one star off my review because I ended up getting in a fender bender on the 105 Freeway and the pizza flew all over my car and got mashed in the carpeting and upholstery.
