    Porcini mushroom and truffle lasagna
    Margaret P.

I'd like to say 3.5 stars, but rounding up to four. I remember eating here when I was living out in LBC way back in the day. It's been sometime -- my husband and I calculated and it's been almost 12 years to be exact which is crazy! I remember being amazed by this restaurant when I came here a long time ago. Great prices, loved the industrial feel, and the food was amazing. When we had to visit the area, I knew I had to make a pitstop here. This place has definitely changed. There used to be a cheese wheel setup in the back that was pretty much welcoming you when you arrived. It's all been blocked off now in the window. We ordered the tagliatelle ragu and porcini mushroom and truffle lasagna along with the rock pizza (name could be wrong). The tagliatelle ragu fell flat. It was so dry and the portion was pretty small. The rock pizza was good but it wasn't anything to write home about. I will say the porcini mushroom and truffle lasagna was absolutely amazing! The place did look a little run down. Perhaps they're focusing more on their catering versus dine-in experience.

    Prosciutto and Burrata

Always a great experience here. We had the chicken pizza and the burrata with prosciutto. The chicken was seasoned chicken breast and went well with the crust, minimal sauce and cheeses. The prosciutto was soft sliced that melt in your mouth - and plenty of it! I needed special beverage - a cross between an iced americano and an iced espresso and the waiter accommodated. The glass could have been bigger but it tasted great and was the strength I asked for.

The food at Eatalian is okay good, but the space hasn't aged as gracefully as one might hope. Ten years ago, the space was minimalistically modern! And unlike anything else! Now it feels a little lacking and dated. The menu is quite expansive - a little something for everyone which is perfect for a big group. Plus the prices are very reasonable. My friend and I shared the following: -banana peppers ($10.95): stuffed with bread crumbs, sausage and parmesan on a bed of arrabbiata sauce -gitana pizza($16.50): tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh mushrooms, parmigiano reggiano, speck + cherry tomatoes tomatoes -penne speck e trevigiano ($17.50): penne in a treviso cream sauce Ngl, the banana pepper situation was a little weird. The banana pepper was abnormally very large and everything it was stuffed with - sausage + breadcrumbs - tasted very bland. The arrabbiata sauce couldn't make up for the lack of flavor. Interesting try, though not for me. Honestly, the real MVP to both the pizza and pasta was the speck. It's salty, and crispy, and was the standout in both dishes. The pizza didn't do much for me - the crust was flimsy and was giving cracker. I liked the toppings, but again, the crust was not crusting. I thought the pasta fared much better, however, the treviso sauce was sparse. There was just enough to coat the noodles, but nothing beyond that. Fine for the first helping, but not so much for the second. Eatalian is the perfect place to eat with coworkers you don't know too well and want to just skeedaddle after the meal.

I've been to Eatalian in Gardena a couple of times now, and I figured it was finally time to give them a full review. This spot is tucked away in more of a warehouse area, not surrounded by a lot of other restaurants, so I think it's kind of a hidden gem for people who work nearby. It does get packed during peak hours, but when I went, I didn't have to wait, which was great. They start you off with some bread and a little olive oil and vinaigrette for dipping, and I have to say that was my favorite part! For my main, I had the tagliatelle with the porcini mushroom sauce. It was decent, nice texture on the noodles, definitely not bland, but I kind of wished it was a bit creamier. That's just my personal taste, though. My cousin got the linguine con pesto with chicken and absolutely loved it, she's already planning to come back for it. Another highlight was the lasagna with black truffle and porcini mushrooms, which my cousin really enjoyed. I'm a big truffle fan, so I'm definitely going to try that next time to see if that truffle flavor really shines through. My mom had the penne con gamberi with shrimp, and she really liked it as well. And we all shared an appetizer of Fritto Misto which is calamari and shrimp, served with marinara. Even though I usually like a more vinegary or creamy dip, the marinara was actually perfect and really tasty. I also had a cappuccino that came with cute latte art, and they even gave my cousin a complimentary cannoli for her birthday, which was such a sweet touch. Overall, it's a really charming and authentic spot, and I'm excited to come back and try more of their menu items.

I came here for a meeting with my boss and it's my new favorite Italian spot. The service is spectacular, everyone made us feel like family. And the food....this was the best spaghetti carbonara I've ever had...if you like bacon and you're looking to carb load I highly recommend. They also gave us complimentary cookies to go with our espresso since it was my first time trying. :') Definitely want to bring my boyfriend here! The inside has an industrial, open and inviting feel inside. Great spot to bring your family and friends! Definitely try this place out you will not be disappointed.

This place is very well hidden. It's really only by word of mouth that you know about this place. I have been living in the south bay for over 5 years and never once did i hear about this place until an out-of-town friend told me about it. The service was great. We came into this place at the right time as we didn't have to wait for a table. I ordered the Tagliatelle pasta and my fiancé ordered the Mimmo pizza. Both were great, but there isnt much, if any, sauce on the Tagliatelle. I had it with meat ragu and I think it'll be better woth the porcini mushroom sauce. food together 8/10

I went there with coworkers for lunch. We arrived around 11:10 am just after the restaurant opened. There were only one or two people seated inside at the time. The building is spacious with high ceilings and a nicely designed setup. They have an open kitchen concept which allows you to see the chefs preparing your food. Upon check-in we were seated immediately, and our server brought the menus and asked for our drink selections. I will be honest , the menu is extensive offering a wide variety of Italian dishes, including pizza, pasta, sandwiches, calzones, salads, rice, and risotto options. Since it was my first visit and I wasn't familiar with the potion sizes, it took me some time to decide I ordered the Tagliata de Pollo Con Verdure, which comes with either spaghetti pomodoro or a choice of two sides. I chose grilled and steamed vegetables. The chicken was cooked perfection and full of flavor and the grilled and steamed vegetables were a great addition that complemented the dish well. The calzone was also impressively large. The servers were very attentive, checking in to make sure the food was good and that we had everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed their entrées, and by the time we finished our meal, the entire seating area was full I would come back again to try different menu options.

My cousin enjoys this place, so she suggested we have dinner here when I was visiting a year ago. We shared a pizza, the Crudo E Burrata, and I ordered the Penne con Gamberi. Everything was yummy. Everyone enjoyed the pizza and Crudo E Burrata. My Penne con Gamberi was delicious. My cousin tried it, and really liked it. She had her husband pick her up an order for her not long after; she even talks about it to this day about how good that pasta is.

This place was great. It was a cool restaurant setting within an industrial type area. It was nice and spacious on the inside. Our servers were very friendly. I tried one of the signature meat pizzas, and it was fantastic. However, my spaghetti pasta dish felt like a lunch portion as opposed to the dinner portion that I thought it would be. It tasted grades but thankfully, I had a pizza on the table as well as some bread.

Visited for the first time tonight and the 2 pizzas we ordered were amazing!! Will definitely be back to try the desserts!

This place is literally amazing! I tried it for the first time tonight, and my family and I shared a pizza, steak & arugula salad, and pasta pomodoro--everything was beyond my expectations. Our waitress accidentally mixed up our pizza at first, but she was so kind and quick to fix it, and even gave us a box of cookies as an apology. She was incredibly sweet and attentive the whole time. We also ordered dessert, the tiramisu and millefoglio. The tiramisu was okay, but the millefoglio was absolutely amazing! Overall, I'll definitely be coming back and I'm so excited to try more items off the menu.

An excellent place very close to South Central. They have a huge menu full of delicious options. They always have plenty of staff working too which ensures very good service. The place gives the impression of being a little bit more expensive but when the bill arrives, you see that it's very affordable.

We're already big fans of Aunty Maile's, so we were excited to support this business and drive from South OC here. We love that they expanded the menu to include plate lunches and all the familiar goodies from Aunty Maile's. We came at 3 pm, and it was crowded. There was a band playing - 4 uncles playing familiar, great music and harmonizing so beautifully. An aunty got up to do a beautiful hula dance. It's almost as if we're back on the islands at a family luau. For the first round, we ordered 2 large pizzas (one for to-go), and 4 plate lunches for the 6 of us. A couple new dishes for us here are spicy miso tofu and char siu chicken. For the tofu, I substituted rice and Mac salad for a garden salad. Oh, my goodness! Their salad dressing is amazing! It has a hint of sweetness and tartness and then bam!..the fresh garlic! Yum! Tofu was good, too! Hubby had the char siu chicken with all rice and no Mac salad. It came with a side of hot mustard. Truly onolicious! Only ask for next time is extra hot mustard. For dessert round, we got a dozen malasadas - 6 "simple kine" and 6 "filled," and a shave ice. Everything was great - food, service, and atmosphere. Oh, I forgot to mention that they hosted a pet adoption outside. So, on top of that, they're people with great hearts.

The staff is friendly and constantly moving around. Sometimes it can be hard to get a hold of someone, especially if they're in the back where customers can't see them. It's a small to medium sized restaurant so expect it to be busy and packed on nights and weekends. Also keep in mind that the parking lot is shared in a plaza, but they also have an underground parking garage too. Overall, would come back, but for only specific things.

So if that's not your thing, you might not love it as much. Ruti's pizza is a white base with soppressata, fresh arugula, and hot honey. The sweet and spicy combo worked really well, super balanced and not overwhelming. We also got the tricolor salad which was a great starter. Very fresh, bright, and tangy from the lemon dressing. It cuts through the heaviness of the pizza perfectly. Third time, we did another walk-in on a Saturday around 2:30 PM and got seated within 30 minutes. At this point I'm convinced I just have good luck with the wait times!! We ordered the mala lamb sausage, diavola, bianca, and tiramisu. My favorite this time was the bianca. It was lighter and acted as a really nice palate cleanser between the heavier pizzas. You can actually taste the lemon in it, which surprisingly I loved on pizza. Only thing is you have to eat it fast because once it cools down, the cheese solidifies pretty quickly. The mala lamb sausage is definitely a crowd favorite, but not my personal favorite.... It leans heavier and the lamb flavor comes through pretty strong. If you like bold flavors you'll probably love it, but I personally prefer something more classic and clean like the margherita or the bianca. The diavola was solid. The soppressata brought the right amount of spice and everything felt really balanced. And the tiramisu... I will always get this if I have room for dessert. It's a good portion size!! The three of us shared it after already eating three pizzas (and still had 3 slices leftover) and we were completely stuffed. I would come back again for the Margherita special and the tiramisu alone.

Diavolo had a little kick but nothing an Angelino can't handle. Though I normally get margherita, I wanted to compare with marinara. Both were great. They also provided anchovies on the side for the Cesar salad. https://www.50toppizza.it/referenza/pizzeria-sei-3/

I had heard great…read morethings from reviews and even had family member recommend their pizza, so we finally decided to give it a shot. For our first visit, my daughter suggested the Tandoori Tikka Pizza (Tandoori Chicken). We also ordered the Halal Chicken Wings, Garlic Naan, and a small salad. Right away, the smell when you walk in is incredible, and the staff greets you immediately, which made a great first impression. Now for the food -- the pizza was delicious with the perfect amount of toppings. The sweet and tangy BBQ sauce really brought everything together. I personally would've liked a little more cheese, but the crust was cooked perfectly with a nice chewy texture. The wings were another standout that both my wife and I really enjoyed. Slightly crispy on the outside while still delicate and moist inside, with a mild heat from the spices that wasn't overpowering. The naan was decent with a good garlic flavor, although it was a bit thin for my preference. The salad was fresh and delicious -- we always appreciate having plenty of vegetables with our meals. Overall, definitely recommend checking them out. Next time we're planning to try the Butter Chicken Pizza.

Never a full bite of bread! We shared a 12 inch pizza, and honestly it was enough for the both of us in one sitting. We got here right at 11 am, so we were the first customers. Took about 20 minutes to get our pizza. However it did look like they were already making orders from online or the phone. We went pretty basic for our toppings and got the standard marinara sauce. They actually have some garlic sauces we will be trying next time. And yes, there will be a next time!

While in California for a cruise, we even extended our stay an extra night just to visit their Carson location. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The pizza we received was the driest we've ever had. It was like biting into cardboard. Red Baron frozen pizza tastes better. Looking at other reviews, some pizzas looked much better, while others appeared just as dry as ours, so it seems inconsistent. The customer service was good, and I appreciate that, but we wouldn't return for the pizza. Overall, very disappointing.
