(4.3/5) Tried La Bella Napoli today and honestly--this place is a small gem. I ordered the bolognese pasta and a margherita pizza. The pasta noodles were clearly fresh, flat handmade, and absolutely excellent--perfect bite and texture. The sauce was super fresh and well balanced, though a little on the sweeter side and not quite as meaty as I personally prefer. Still, the noodles completely carried the dish. The margherita pizza was thin, flavorful, and the cheese was amazing--really high quality and well balanced with the sauce. My only nitpick is that it cooled down a bit fast; I'd love it served just a touch hotter next time. The spot itself is a cozy little hole-in-the-wall, which I love. Just a heads-up when driving: watch the parking so you don't end up half on the sidewalk or miss the entrance (easy to do). Service was friendly but a bit slow--both dishes took about 30 minutes even though there wasn't anyone dining in. That said, I did notice a few walk-in takeout orders, so that likely explains it. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the freshness and quality mostly justify it. Overall: super fresh, very satisfying, and worth a visit. Definitely a neighborhood gem I'd come back to.

The handmade pasta is really good and the ingredients taste like their from another country, enjoyed the pasta a lot. The tiramisu on the other hand was not good at all. $7 for the mini which is 2 bites, tasted like an old bland cake from a gas station. I would go back to try different pastas and the pizzas but stay away from the overpriced dessert. The inside is small but cute. Service was chill.

You know that often times it's the little holes in the walls that are the best! And La Bella Napoli is a hidden gem in Torrance. We had the margherita pizza and the truffle gnocchi Al tartufo. Both were amazingly delicious seating is limited but they had comfortable seating. And the waiter was very kind and polite.

Thank you YELP for helping me to find this taste of Napoli in Torrance! The owner Daniele was incredibly hospitable and shared his thoughts on places to go in Italy for our upcoming trip. He made us feel so at home in his restaurant along with fantastic food! We had the delicious Margherita family pizza as well as spaghetti and meatballs! Also some gelato for the road! Just a wondeful true gem that needs to be recognized!! If you're in that part of LA, it's a must try!

La Bella Napoli is a small Italian restaurant tucked away in Torrance. The owner takes pride in her restaurant and tells her story for everyone to understand and to appreciate the hard work she and her family had to put in to build what she has now. The restaurant itself is very small while the vibe is calming and nice. My party and I were greeted by Daniele Casaletta, who happens to be the owner of La Bella Napoli. She was very nice, professional, and happy to have us dining at her restaurant. I ordered the Spicy Bruschetta and an espresso for a total of $22.00, including a tip I left. The spicy bruschetta contains spicy Calabrian red pepper spread, spicy calabrese, basil, and burrata cheese from Italy; all served on a soft yet crunchy homemade ciabatta bread slice. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil is served on the side with a small portion of arugula salad. The dish itself was astounding, everything was fresh and tasted homemade. Everything was light, yet I felt satisfied without feeling groggy nor an overly full stomach feeling. The burrata cheese was the star of the show as it was soft, creamy, and rich in flavor. However, the spiciness of the dish was a bit too much, even for me and I love spicy foods. The level of spiciness did overpower the flavor of the dish at times, but I still enjoyed it. When ordering the espresso, I was asked if I wanted it when I placed my order or after my meal and of course, I chose after my meal. The espresso was cute and served with a mini spoon and a packet of sugar. I drank it in just one go and it gave me the kick I needed to keep going about my day. The expresso was rich and smooth. The rest of my party ordered the Margherita Pizza, family size. I tried a slice and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had so far. The crust was thin, light, crunchy, and had a nice homemade flavor. The sauce was homemade as well and tasted fresh. And the Mozzarella (from Italy), fresh Basil, and olive oil only made the pizza even better. We did try the Tiramisu and it was a great ending to our experience. The Tiramisu was not overly sweet, creamy, and light. Complimentary water and water cups are provided. Overall, I had a great experience and as an Italian myself; La Bella Napoli is the go-to authentic Italian restaurant if you are in the area and the flavors of Naples truly shine. I will definitely be coming back. To my knowledge, no military discounts are offered.

We stumbled onto this lil gem and ordered the Margherita and Bolognese and it was divine! It feels like your Nona just whipped up her signature dishes for Sunday dinner. It's so simple, fresh and authentic! Plus, the customer service was top tier! Go! Order everything and then get dessert!

The most incredible pizza and pasta! I tried the truffle gnocchi and pepperoni pizza and it was so fresh and delicious. The cook also brought out a dessert at the end on him and it was so sweet. Great service and find so close to my house!

THE FOOD IS SOOO GOOD HERE. I've tried many pizzas and this one takes the cake. I've tried the buffalo margarita and the prosciutto pizza. Also I tried one of their appetizers, and the tomatoes were soooo good. I hate raw tomatoes but I ate every single cherry tomato photographed. I will be back again, this was my second time going!

Home-made, melt in your mouth meatballs!

5 stars across the board!! Just had lunch there today. Amazing, genuine Napolitano meal. Margarita pizza was one of the best i have ever had. The meatballs are incredible, sorry Mom, but....I have never had better. Great salad and the Cannolis were fresh, authentic and out of this world! Service was super friendly and attentive. Definitely a no-miss and a must try!

Behind the waitress stand is more seating overlooking the open kitchen where you can take in the sights and smells of the employees working on their craft. The interior is decorated simply and cleanly with wall decorations but most of the focus drawn to the kitchen. I ordered the avocado cream cheese (with onion and bacon) spaghetti. The avocado and cream cheese tag teamed into a creamy coating on the noodles with a tang from the cheese and a richness from the avocado. The onion and bacon added some necessary contrast, crunch, and meatiness to the meal. The noodle texture is excellent with a nice snap. Unfortunately, it does reach a point where the cheese becomes too rich to consume and I found myself requiring breaks before resuming. All in all, a very good meal and a definite recommend in the area for the experience.

Looks can be deceiving…read more As I was driving off of the Rosecrans exit of the 110 freeway to the restaurant, I startled to get a little nervous. Looking around area, a desolate industrial wasteland emerged. I thought to myself, "Am I in the right place? Where could there possibly be a restaurant? Did I send my friend the wrong address?" However as I continued down Grand I finally caught a glimpse of a sign that indicated additional parking in the rear. Nerves began to settle as I was able to easily find parking in the giant lot behind the store. I walked around the block, found the entrance and went inside. What awaited me inside had me in shock. A spacious area with a family friendly industrial tones with plenty of seating, a friendly staff that ushered me in and seamlessly guided me to my friend's table, and quaint bakery and grocery area to boot. The food was delicious, upon a cursory review of Yelp I went with the Gnocchi with pesto. My friend had chicken Scaloppina. Portions and price point were great. I had leftovers and did not feel ripped off. The cappuccino I ordered, not the best, but it wasn't bad. It's not like I was at a cafe or coffee shop. The waiter was attentive and the restaurant seemed to be at 70% capacity with families. Overall, I would say it was a positive experience and would recommend it as the best Italian option in this part of town. I regret not getting the House Cake as it looked delicious...I was just too full. Bonus* I did hear some people speaking Italian which also adds some street cred to this fine institution.

Not this time, not this place. Aside from the amazing food, the service was so spot on. And on top of everything else they were able to figure out and divide all of our orders so we didn't get one big check. I was so blown away at the service of this place, but let's talk about the food. I had chicken Parmesan and it was great, my wife had the seafood mix with all the different things that go in that and she was really happy. Everything from the bread, to my sister-in-law's lemon chicken was amazing. And then we got to the desserts. You will never find a better restaurant than this for desserts. Their bakery is right on hand, and oh my God was their desserts incredible. I think we all sampled everything, I had a pastry puff that was covered in chocolate with a cream filling on the inside and I swear it was one of the best things that ever went in my mouth. The open air ambience was really interesting, and I swear I have never been in such a large party and had everybody as happy as we were at this restaurant. It was for my wife's birthday and I gotta say they nailed it!!! I can't wait to go back to LA and hit this place up again.

There's a real chew here--a springy, structured bite that gives just enough resistance before yielding. It's deeply satisfying and makes every dish feel more intentional. The cappelloni shows it off best: that almost-famous sauce wraps around each piece, but the pasta holds its own, so you get that perfect balance of silky and structured. Same with the tangiello--the meat sauce tastes like it's been simmering for days, rich and layered, but the noodles never get lost because that chew carries through. The Caesar isn't an afterthought either. It's got a subtle spicy kick that wakes everything up, and if you add chicken, it's done right--well-seasoned, nicely grilled, juicy with a bit of char. It turns a classic into something you actually remember. Dinner is where things go a little heartier, and the pork chop delivers. I was impressed with the clean and modern look of Jane Enoteca from the moment I walked in. Their dishes consist of several handmade pastas, salads and Italian inspired comfort food. My friend and I chose to start our meals with the Meatballs and Brussels Sprouts. Being a Brussels Sprouts fan, I really enjoyed their roasted crispy Brussels sprouts that were tossed in schiaffoni dressing and finished with sesame. Equal in deliciousness were their Meatballs. The Meatballs were tender, rich and saucy. These starters were a great way to kick off our meal here. For our mains, we got their Paccheri Lisci and Tonnarelli. The Paccheri Lisci had a bit of a spicy kick to it. It has spicy pork sausage sugo, fennel, sage and pecorino. It was meaty and flavorful. The Tonnarelli or Cacio e Pepe contrasted nicely with the Paccheri Lisci. This pasta dish was simple, sharp and peppery. This was more bold versus saucy. Last but not least we had some cookies for dessert. I loved the fresh baked snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies. It was a sweet and perfect ending to the meal here. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Jame Enoteca. I am now looking forward to trying out their sister restaurant Jame Taqueria down the street.
