Hands down, the best thin crust pizza I've ever had! As a life long Gardena resident I've had pizza from all the local places (corporate and individually owned). I came in a few minutes after the restaurant opened and placed my order for a thin crust, pepperoni, and pineapple (don't judge) medium pizza and a large Thai iced tea. The gentleman who took my order made the tea first, from scratch. I love this drink and typically assume it's just going to be sweeter than I like but this one was balanced so well, just sweet enough for me. My pizza was ready in about 25 minutes and WOW! This is the thin crust of my dreams. Not too thin that it folds under the weight of the ingredients or gets super soggy and a crunchy crust! I took a bite without adding on parmesan and chili flakes, delicious both ways. Next time, I'm definitely going to add one of the oil drizzles, I'm sure it'll be great too. Do yourself a favor, and go to ASAP Pizza, asap! read more

Ambiance: Small pizza place with a decent sized menu. For some reason, this place didn't smell like food, which I found a bit odd for a food place. Couple tables to dine in, minimal decor. Service: I called my order in, and they answered quickly; they didn't rush me when I had questions either. Quoted me 15 minutes, I got there in maybe 20, but I had to wait an extra 15. I wasn't in a rush, so I didn't mind. Guy behind the counter was nice and fast. Food: This was my first time here, and for the "best pizza in town," I didn't see the hype. The pizza was decent, and it kind of tasted like frozen pizza, to be honest. The cinna stix was just bread with cinnamon on top, which I guess is what I should've expected, but I would've liked the bread itself to be sweet. What I really liked was the Thai tea not too sweet and the perfect amount of ice. read more

I heard about this place on NextDoor and people complimented the taste of the pizza and prices. I must say the people on NextDoor are right. The staff is really polite and well mannered, which is very welcoming. And they offer daily specials, as well as several others. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of food you're receiving. Plus the dining room and tables are clean for those dining in. Overall, ASAP Pizza is worth your time and money. read more

This is your go to spot if you want something yummy. The guys working here were very sweet and so patient with helping us decide what to order, this pizza spot did not disappoint. They made fresh pizza on the spot . We got their special ASAP supreme and a pie of pepperoni , it was phenomenal , the crust is a great balance of crispy on the bottom and fluffy throughout. The cheese melted and stretched like your childhood cartoon made you think pizza cheese should be. The pepperoni was nicely cooked on top being the perfect amount of crisp without being burnt. This pizza was perfect in its simplicity. Definitely we will back again and again . read more

Great pizza! Great customer service. Last pizza I ordered was great! They still hadn't fixed the Uber Eats and Postmates 2 topping limit issue but I let a note politely asking if they could include 2 other toppings and they courteously fulfilled my request. THANK YOU FOLKS! I recommend the large garlic butter crust pan pizza with extra cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni (2X if you're about that LIFE) and sausage. Don't forget the GARLIC DRIZZLE! Give me "Helpful" if you tried it and loved it like I did. read more

I've been a loyal ASAP Pizza customer for a long time--they're the only place I order from for my family. Even after moving farther away, I still make the drive just to get their pizza. Today, I made the mistake of ordering through a third-party service (Grubhub), which I normally avoid. Unfortunately, my order was completely wrong. The chicken was undercooked, I didn't receive the correct pieces or flavors that I paid extra for, and they even left out my beloved garlic butter crust--something I also paid extra for. I'm not sure if this was due to carelessness or a lack of ingredients, but the right thing to do would have been to contact me for a suitable replacement. I spent nearly $100 on dinner for my family, and half of it won't even be eaten. I truly hope this was just an isolated mistake and not a sign of an ongoing issue--because if this continues, ASAP Pizza will have lost a long-time, loyal customer. read more

Whoever was cooking tonight Sunday September 29. I love you. It tastes different. The crust was nice and thin, not doughy. The service is always great but I liked that the cook showed me the pizza to ask if it was crispy enough, that's super nice. Nice and clean dining area. read more

ASAP Pizza - Pepperoni Pizza with jalapeño extra crispy - Pizza Near Me - Gardena, California

The food was mediocre. Nothing like the picture. We ordered delivery and had some instructions for the restaurant that was not followed through. Based on the pictures online, we expected a sort of taste and aesthetically pleasing quality. It was none. The fries were cold, burned and tasted like it was just a plethora of garlic and salt seasoning. I ordered garlic herb fries. This seem like they just overly fried some fries, and sprinkled some garlic salt on it. The jalapeño peppers on the one hand did not have flavor at all. It was like some albino nuggets. Taste was bland, ,look was even more bland. The Thai tea set me off though! !I always get Thai tea everywhere I go (if they have it). never in my days did I have some watered down Thai tea with no sweetness to it. Not even the boba. my WORD. just everything about this was off. Do better. Check the pictures. Just a whole mess read more

It came through under the "hot and new" way back in the day, so I added them on my bookmarked collection. I remember looking through their menu and remember it not being extensive (which wasn't an issue) but the one thing I remember is that the pricing was great! Being it National Pizza Day, I decided to finally come through. I ordered via the Yelp app for pick up. I immediately noticed their prices were much higher compared to their menu I looked at just days prior. I was hAngry at that point, so I didn't really care. I put in an order of the ASAP Supreme pizza (requested a thin crust) a side of garlic butter sauce, 6-piece buffalo wings and breadsticks. I opted to pay in CASH since I didn't want to use a card. The food was ready when I got there and the staff immediately thanked me for the order and handed my food over. I told them I still needed to pay them. They said, "No, it's been paid. Via Grubhub." I was floored. (Okay, I'll get back to that and explain in a minute, let's get to the food first.) ASAP SUPREME: Plenty of toppings for the size and the price. As noted earlier, I requested a thin crust on the pie and yes: the crust was thin, but it was a tad bid undercooked. The dough was still chewy and could have use a little more time in the oven. However, they didn't skimp on the toppings so it was still above par overall. BUFFALO WINGS: Perfect amount of sauce, but like the crust on the pizza, could have also used a bit more cooking. A teenee crunch on the wings' skin might have elevated the experience to a better level. BREADSTICKS: This they got PERFECT. Hot, fresh, fluffy, garlicky... YUM! And for the price, it really is worth it!!! GETTING BACK TO THE WHOLE GRUBHUB THING: One of them mentioned if I was to do a pickup, they advised calling them directly than going through the app because GrubHub price their items so much more. And she's right. I did the math and it came down to this: ASAP Supreme Pizza: $10.99 GRUBHUB: $13.74 Thin Crust: $1.50 GRUBHUB: $1.88 Garlic Butter Dipping Sauce: $0.75 GRUBHUB: $0.94 6-piece wings: $6.99 GRUBHUB: $8.74 Breadsticks: $3.00 GRUB HUB: $3.75 TOTAL (PRE-TAX AND TIP): $23.23 GRUBHUB: $29.05 A difference of $5.82. This is the 2nd time I used the Yelp app to order something for pickup and the idea that greedy Grubhub made money off me without doing any work (plus the fact that no part of their fees go to the restaurants!) is not sitting well with me. (I've never used any kind of food delivery service for a reason... now I've got two!) I know, it was my fault for not being more careful and I should have been more aware, so the blame falls on my hAngerism... okay, it's me, blame is on me. Lesson learned: NEVER AGAIN!!! I tipped the restaurant in cash. FOOD: 3. It could use a bit more work and I'm keeping in mind to make special requests next time I phone an order in. SERVICE: 5. So thankful for them telling me about Grubhub's shady practice! VALUE: 4. More than fair for what you get. PARKING: Private lot shared with others. I came through at a lunch-rush but found a few spots open. OVERALL: 4. Keeping them on my radar. read more

I liked their pizza but the service is not satisfactory because they missed my order. I got a refund but only for the menu price plus tax only. This place is a hidden treasure. Very low key and unassuming from the outside. The inside is clean and spacious. My family and I went in for pizza on a Friday night and they were busy but we still were able to sit at a table and get service. I was really happy when I found out they have halal options!! I am happy that this pizza appeals to people unfortunately it is not my personal taste. California pizza preferences are a mystery to me. I can only say that this pizza is cafeteria style dough. The cheese is great, the sauce is ok and the toppings are good quality. But the pure white unfermented dough that has zero crisp or texture or chew is not for me. I would say it belongs in the costco and dominos rating which people definitely love but we did not expect from an independent pizzeria. read more

Today I had their 3 meat Pizza since I'm 100% a meat lover. The order process through Yelp was fairly easy. I ordered the 3 meat pie Pizza and their breadstick with Marinara. Unfortunately the marinara wasn't place in my bag so I didn't enjoy the bread sticks. However, the pizza was delicious. It comes with Bacon, Pepperoni, and sausage. It is cooked pretty well, but would've been nicer if the cheese was melted a bit more ( just preference). I did however feel like it wasn't much different from Dominos Pizza. What really distinguished them was their friendliness. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Staff are also using special measurement during Covid. read more

PLEASE LISTEN, I wasted time out my day to warn ya not because I'm mean. I spent 18$ on a small size pizza("medium") and I thought the taste would make it up for it and it was just nasty. I'm serious, little Caesar's, dominos, Pizza Hut is even way better and also price wise better. So if your new, looking for a new good pizza spot just go down to Gigis pizza better on Crenshaw and Redondo beach across of El Camino. (Same area on this side) I'm very disappointed after I felt the price of the pizza was very expensive and no taste to the pizza at all... I will never come here again.. read more

Ordered via UberEats. Pizza & breadsticks came 45 minutes later than scheduled and were cold, dry and gross. We threw it away. I wanted to like them though. The pizza may have been good if fresh but when a pizza sits in a cardboard box hot, then cools down, it sort of takes on the cardboard taste. Same for the breadsticks- which were really just dry and hard. I may try them again to see if it improves, but likely not. read more

OH MY GOSH ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK. I just ordered 14 piece BBQ wings, cheese stix, and 2 liter diet coke. I was delivered a pepperoni pizza and extra spicy wings I can't even eat they are so spicy. ON TOP OF IT ALL, the delivery driver had to use translation software to speak to me and could not understand. I tried calling the number on their website and guess what? It is some cell# that says vmail has not been set up yet. You cannot get thru. CRAZY. I guess I will have to call my bank to appeal the charge BUT WHAT A NIGHTMARE. Price and taste. My kids love their pizza. Owners are super nice and good with children.

Solid neighborhood pizza with no frills. Consistent and on the less expensive side compared to others. Been going here now for 2 years or so

The first thing I do when trying a new spot is look at the negative reviews. I really hope that this reaches whoever it's suppose to... So tonight (a little over an hour ago) I ordered two large pizzas and a 20 piece wings. With the delivery it came out to $54. They have an $8 service charge for delivery, which I think is stupid because that discourages someone who likes to tip big from wanting to leave a tip. That was the first thing, but not a big deal. The second thing is the pizza is just okay. The tomato sauce they use is cool but they are stingy with the toppings, and the crust isn't nothing special. If I was grading just off of pizza they might get 3 stars. The WINGS... the wings are the worst wings that me and Prince, my boy that pulled up to watch the game, have ever tasted. We both agree that they are hands down the worst wings. DO NOT BUY WINGS HERE!!!! The wings that they sell in the frozen section at the grocery store are better, if McDonalds served wings theirs would be better. I'm pretty sure 7Elevens wings are also better. Let me explain... the wings actually have no seasoning on them, NONE. The guy also confirmed this when I called back... I'll get to that in a minute. No seasoning! We ordered lemon pepper and buffalo. In the photo they looked like they are seasoned, but honestly it tasted like they watered it down to stretch it. Also they were undercooked. You know how you go to Wingstop and the wings are crispy and cooked to the perfect temperature, you don't even have to ask... well not here. It's a pizza spot tho right? Well their yelp says pizza and wings, and Pizza Hut figured out a decent wing! This is where it went sideways and I decided to leave a yelp review. I called this place back and explained to them the agony we had to endure by eating the wings. Honestly I was polite. I told him that we just ordered and explained how these were the worst wings we've ever had. I was hoping for a display of excellent customer service, but he stated, "I wouldn't eat the wings here!" And he understood what I mean, but he couldn't accommodate me. I asked for another batch... I asked for a refund. We ordered 20 wings... 14 (pictured) were left. There are 6 people here right now. It only took one wing a piece to figure out it wasn't going to get any better. He didn't offer anything to reconcile. This is when I decided I would leave a review. The person I was on the phone with said the manager made the decision they cannot offer anything, so I asked him for the managers name to leave in the review. Guess what he said, "I can't give you his name!" What in the better business bureau type of crap is that? So I don't know the manager but I know I won't be ordering from asap again. ********************UPDATE******************** This is in response to the owners comment. MarcJoerg- whoever I spoke to that wouldn't give me their name, I never asked why the wings aren't "flavor injected" or have "artificial flavor enhancers" I don't even talk like that! I stated, "These wings taste like they were not seasoned prior to cooking them and they don't taste like anything." Your employee confirmed that, you cannot season your wings prior to cooking them (his words). I'm a wing connoisseur... what type of wing cannot be seasoned prior to cooking them??? Definitely not the fresh, all natural, no hormone wings that you stated your establishment sells. The wings are horrible, but that is not where you failed most as a business, your failings is in your customer service and retention. This could've been a very easy fix and you could've avoided a negative review if you would have made any effort to make your customer happy. Instead I hope someone or many people read this and decide to take their business elsewhere!! read more

Solid pizza place if you like better quality pizza. Wife and I got a large 3 topping pizza which is pretty well priced at just under $12. End up paying a bunch more service and delivery fees so go pick it up if you're close by. Pizza was delivered in about 30 min and left at our doorstep. The pizza was still warm which is always nice and it's a decent sized large (full off of half of it). Also, highly recommend getting the garlic butter dipping sauce which we loved. The sad part was we ran out of the sauce while we still had a couple of slices left. May order again but my go to is pizza hut stuffed crust so that's what I compare other pizzas to. I ordered Hawaiian pizza through a delivery app last weekend and it came promptly. However, the pizza was way too cold making me wonder when it was made. Despite the temperature, the first thing we noticed were the amount of cheese and topping. This place is being way too cheap on toppings. You could see the pizza dough under all the toppings which clearly means there is not enough cheese to cover the whole pizza. The amount of pineapple and ham is ridiculous. This is not a size small pizza. You could put like two more handfuls of pineapple and ham. The pizza looks too empty... The taste is mediocre. Nothing special. It just makes me wonder who wrote all the five star reviews here.. they probably never had a decent pizza. If you are considering to order from here, I suggest just order from Domino's; at least their pizzas are fully covered with cheese and toppings. read more

You are not going to find a better deal on pizza than here at ASAP. Not only are their prices ridiculously affordable, but their staff is friendly and warm and incredibly generous and helpful. Honestly, customer service for a business is underrated at times, but when you receive all star service and feel genuinely cared for, then you realize how important it is. Either that, or when you receive the crappiest service (which was NOT the case here, haha). So thank you, ASAP Pizza, for welcoming us in and making us feel at home. Moving on! ASAP is located in a small plaza on Redondo Beach Blvd and Normandie. It's a very quaint and unassuming joint. They have standard pizzas that everyone loves: cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers, etc. They also have bread sticks and wings. I personally loved their chicken wings. it had the right amount of kick and satisfied my guilty-pleasure cravings. I'd like to emphasize that this a pizza joint. If you're looking for something healthy, obviously, you shouldn't be ordering pizza or complaining about grease. Pizza has cheese and meat, which ooze juice and grease. Not sure why people are complaining about grease in their reviews. SERIOUSLY? Again, prices can't be beat. With that in mind, come and sit down and just enjoy a slice of pizza! Or six. read more
