Guy on the phone tried to tell me that I can't put extra toppings on the 1 topping deal. Makes no sense at all if I'm willing to pay.

Great pizza! Great customer service. Last pizza I ordered was great! They still hadn't fixed the Uber Eats and Postmates 2 topping limit issue but I let a note politely asking if they could include 2 other toppings and they courteously fulfilled my request. THANK YOU FOLKS! I recommend the large garlic butter crust pan pizza with extra cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni (2X if you're about that LIFE) and sausage. Don't forget the GARLIC DRIZZLE! Give me "Helpful" if you tried it and loved it like I did.

Ambiance: Small pizza place with a decent sized menu. For some reason, this place didn't smell like food, which I found a bit odd for a food place. Couple tables to dine in, minimal decor. Service: I called my order in, and they answered quickly; they didn't rush me when I had questions either. Quoted me 15 minutes, I got there in maybe 20, but I had to wait an extra 15. I wasn't in a rush, so I didn't mind. Guy behind the counter was nice and fast. Food: This was my first time here, and for the "best pizza in town," I didn't see the hype. The pizza was decent, and it kind of tasted like frozen pizza, to be honest. The cinna stix was just bread with cinnamon on top, which I guess is what I should've expected, but I would've liked the bread itself to be sweet. What I really liked was the Thai tea not too sweet and the perfect amount of ice.

Whoever was cooking tonight Sunday September 29. I love you. It tastes different. The crust was nice and thin, not doughy. The service is always great but I liked that the cook showed me the pizza to ask if it was crispy enough, that's super nice. Nice and clean dining area.

This is your go to spot if you want something yummy. The guys working here were very sweet and so patient with helping us decide what to order, this pizza spot did not disappoint. They made fresh pizza on the spot . We got their special ASAP supreme and a pie of pepperoni , it was phenomenal , the crust is a great balance of crispy on the bottom and fluffy throughout. The cheese melted and stretched like your childhood cartoon made you think pizza cheese should be. The pepperoni was nicely cooked on top being the perfect amount of crisp without being burnt. This pizza was perfect in its simplicity. Definitely we will back again and again .

The food was mediocre. Nothing like the picture. We ordered delivery and had some instructions for the restaurant that was not followed through. Based on the pictures online, we expected a sort of taste and aesthetically pleasing quality. It was none. The fries were cold, burned and tasted like it was just a plethora of garlic and salt seasoning. I ordered garlic herb fries. This seem like they just overly fried some fries, and sprinkled some garlic salt on it. The jalapeño peppers on the one hand did not have flavor at all. It was like some albino nuggets. Taste was bland, ,look was even more bland. The Thai tea set me off though! !I always get Thai tea everywhere I go (if they have it). never in my days did I have some watered down Thai tea with no sweetness to it. Not even the boba. my WORD. just everything about this was off. Do better. Check the pictures. Just a whole mess

This was our first time ordering form ASAP Pizza and it did not disappoint! My husband had the pepperoni calzone and i took a bite of it and omg the cheesy deliciousness! My kids and I had just cheese pizza but it was also delicious! And the cheesy garlic bread was . Prices are really reasonable too. We're excited to have found a local pizza spot to support

Finally tried it! Sooo good! Pepperoni pizza XL, 8 huge slices that can feed 4 people. Great customer service!

This place is a hidden treasure. Very low key and unassuming from the outside. The inside is clean and spacious. My family and I went in for pizza on a Friday night and they were busy but we still were able to sit at a table and get service. I was really happy when I found out they have halal options!! The pepperoni pizza and chicken wings were amazing! My kids love the watermelon lemonade and they even eat the crust on the cheese pizza because it's so good. Definitely a go to spot!

Me and my sister just got home from ordering from you pizza is burnt and doesn't taste good and we told you light Alfredo sauce.

It came through under the "hot and new" way back in the day, so I added them on my bookmarked collection. I remember looking through their menu and remember it not being extensive (which wasn't an issue) but the one thing I remember is that the pricing was great! Being it National Pizza Day, I decided to finally come through. I ordered via the Yelp app for pick up. I immediately noticed their prices were much higher compared to their menu I looked at just days prior. I was hAngry at that point, so I didn't really care. I put in an order of the ASAP Supreme pizza (requested a thin crust) a side of garlic butter sauce, 6-piece buffalo wings and breadsticks. I opted to pay in CASH since I didn't want to use a card. The food was ready when I got there and the staff immediately thanked me for the order and handed my food over. I told them I still needed to pay them. They said, "No, it's been paid. Via Grubhub." I was floored. (Okay, I'll get back to that and explain in a minute, let's get to the food first.) ASAP SUPREME: Plenty of toppings for the size and the price. As noted earlier, I requested a thin crust on the pie and yes: the crust was thin, but it was a tad bid undercooked. The dough was still chewy and could have use a little more time in the oven. However, they didn't skimp on the toppings so it was still above par overall. BUFFALO WINGS: Perfect amount of sauce, but like the crust on the pizza, could have also used a bit more cooking. A teenee crunch on the wings' skin might have elevated the experience to a better level. BREADSTICKS: This they got PERFECT. Hot, fresh, fluffy, garlicky... YUM! And for the price, it really is worth it!!! GETTING BACK TO THE WHOLE GRUBHUB THING: One of them mentioned if I was to do a pickup, they advised calling them directly than going through the app because GrubHub price their items so much more. And she's right. I did the math and it came down to this: ASAP Supreme Pizza: $10.99 GRUBHUB: $13.74 Thin Crust: $1.50 GRUBHUB: $1.88 Garlic Butter Dipping Sauce: $0.75 GRUBHUB: $0.94 6-piece wings: $6.99 GRUBHUB: $8.74 Breadsticks: $3.00 GRUB HUB: $3.75 TOTAL (PRE-TAX AND TIP): $23.23 GRUBHUB: $29.05 A difference of $5.82. This is the 2nd time I used the Yelp app to order something for pickup and the idea that greedy Grubhub made money off me without doing any work (plus the fact that no part of their fees go to the restaurants!) is not sitting well with me. (I've never used any kind of food delivery service for a reason... now I've got two!) I know, it was my fault for not being more careful and I should have been more aware, so the blame falls on my hAngerism... okay, it's me, blame is on me. Lesson learned: NEVER AGAIN!!! I tipped the restaurant in cash. FOOD: 3. It could use a bit more work and I'm keeping in mind to make special requests next time I phone an order in. SERVICE: 5. So thankful for them telling me about Grubhub's shady practice! VALUE: 4. More than fair for what you get. PARKING: Private lot shared with others. I came through at a lunch-rush but found a few spots open. OVERALL: 4. Keeping them on my radar.

The service here is amazing. They're so nice. The pizza is delicious! It kind of reminds me of Chuck E. Cheese and Numero Uno which are my favorites! I really like that when you request toppings you don't have to question if they added it or not. It was delicious. I had extra cheese and pineapples and it definitely was. Pizza was hot and perfect to eat even when we got home. I will be coming back here.

First time here ordering pizza and it was delicious, the whole family liked and enjoyed it. Will definitely come back again. A few days ago we stopped here for some boba drinks and they were delicious as well and the customer service was impeccable. I was entering the restaurant with my two children and they were offered lollipops right away, it was a really nice detail and my kids of course were very happy.

Absolutely GREAT service! Food is excellent with a great variety on the menu. Many of the sauces are homemade recipes. These guys rock!!! Look them up for to go orders too! Definitely, we will be back again soon! Accept EBT patrons!!! It's worth a try, enjoy!!!! West!

I've eaten fettuccine Alfredo at Italian restaurants all over, and I can say without hesitation that Lomeli's makes the best I've ever had. It's my go‑to dish everywhere I go, and nothing compares to the rich, creamy perfection they serve here. My wife ordered the spinach zucchini, and she absolutely loved it. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right--she couldn't stop talking about it. The service deserves its own spotlight. Nancy and Adam were outstanding--warm, attentive, and genuinely kind people who make you feel like family the moment you sit down. Restaurants can teach technique, but they can't teach heart, and Lomeli's has it in abundance. And then there's the ambience. If you enjoy the timeless voices of Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole, you're in for a treat. Their music fills the room and creates the perfect backdrop for an Italian meal. It's cozy, nostalgic, and effortlessly charming--exactly the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. In short: Lomeli's is everything you want in a neighborhood Italian restaurant and more. Incredible food, wonderful people, and an ambience that feels like a warm embrace. You will not regret giving this place a try. Sorry, I couldn't wait to take a picture of the food. I ate it before I remembered that I needed to take a picture. It was so good.

Looks can be deceiving…read more As I was driving off of the Rosecrans exit of the 110 freeway to the restaurant, I startled to get a little nervous. Looking around area, a desolate industrial wasteland emerged. I thought to myself, "Am I in the right place? Where could there possibly be a restaurant? Did I send my friend the wrong address?" However as I continued down Grand I finally caught a glimpse of a sign that indicated additional parking in the rear. Nerves began to settle as I was able to easily find parking in the giant lot behind the store. I walked around the block, found the entrance and went inside. What awaited me inside had me in shock. A spacious area with a family friendly industrial tones with plenty of seating, a friendly staff that ushered me in and seamlessly guided me to my friend's table, and quaint bakery and grocery area to boot. The food was delicious, upon a cursory review of Yelp I went with the Gnocchi with pesto. My friend had chicken Scaloppina. Portions and price point were great. I had leftovers and did not feel ripped off. The cappuccino I ordered, not the best, but it wasn't bad. It's not like I was at a cafe or coffee shop. The waiter was attentive and the restaurant seemed to be at 70% capacity with families. Overall, I would say it was a positive experience and would recommend it as the best Italian option in this part of town. I regret not getting the House Cake as it looked delicious...I was just too full. Bonus* I did hear some people speaking Italian which also adds some street cred to this fine institution.

There's a real chew here--a springy, structured bite that gives just enough resistance before yielding. It's deeply satisfying and makes every dish feel more intentional. The cappelloni shows it off best: that almost-famous sauce wraps around each piece, but the pasta holds its own, so you get that perfect balance of silky and structured. Same with the tangiello--the meat sauce tastes like it's been simmering for days, rich and layered, but the noodles never get lost because that chew carries through. The Caesar isn't an afterthought either. It's got a subtle spicy kick that wakes everything up, and if you add chicken, it's done right--well-seasoned, nicely grilled, juicy with a bit of char. It turns a classic into something you actually remember. Dinner is where things go a little heartier, and the pork chop delivers. The sauce was thick and creamy, and coated the pasta nicely. The pasta was cooked al dente, making it perfectly firm and chewy. For my drink, I had the Light and Stormy mocktail which had lemon, ginger, lime, and mint in it. It was slightly carbonated and tasted like a really good virgin mojito. I would say the service here was good, not great. It took like 10 minutes for a server to come to us after we were seated to take our order. UPDATE! We came…read moreback about a month later to celebrate Hubbers' birthday, but the experience wasn't the same. I'm guessing since they're coming to a permanent closure, it only makes sense that the quality of the experience (food and service) had began to going down. We were seated immediately, so we were off to a good start. It took a bit of time for Daniel (yep! We got the same server from the last time) to come around and get our orders. It wasn't too bad since the wait gave us the opp to decide on apps and mains, so we got to put all our orders in at once. CALAMARI: Battered thin and crispy. Dash of lemon juice made it better. Quality? Yes. Quantity? Not so much. I thought it was pricey for the amount we got. PEPPERCORN POLPETTINE: Meatballs in cream sauce. Even with the whole peppercorns, the sauce was good. The meatballs, however, didn't taste or look homemade at all. (I recently made frozen meatball soup at home and the meatball's flavor was pretty much similar.) So.. meh... BRUSCHETTA ALLA CHECCA: This was the best app out of the three. Crostini was perfect and the toppings were all perfectly balanced. SPAGHETTI AI NERO DI SEPPIA: Looked great, but lacked flavor. Asked for fresh grated cheese and added black pepper which helped a little, but still missing something... Hubbers got the linguine pesca mare which he loved (he emptied his plate!) So I guess that says a lot. And I'm really glad he liked it, being his birthday and all. He also chose crème brûlée to finish off his birthday treat. (No, they didn't comp it - which is fine, and I don't expect them - or any business - to, even more since they are shutting down. I understand they need all the profit they can get.) Overall a little less stellar than the first visit. I'll admit I was a teenee bit disappointed since we had an amazing experience the first time. All the same, I'm still glad of the experience and wish them well on their future endeavors!

It's always a 5 star experience with Chef Michael. I'm actually depressed that unfortunately as all…read moregood things do, this amazing restaurant is coming to an end. 5/31 is that end. Food is amazing as always. The only upside is we may still see him locally. His landlord is repurposing/tearing down and rebuilding. Thank you chef Michael for a dining experience that is so hard to find here in the SB!

Secondly thanks to our waitress Tara who was super attentive and took care of us. She was good. Now down to the bad and the ugly. I understand it was busy, there were people running around the kitchen, tons of chefs, but that doesn't mean their signature dishes, the pastas, should be super bland and boring, you're an Italian restaurant. When you ask for salt for pasta at an Italian restaurant, you're in trouble. My Ricotta Cavatelli was horrible. Lump crab was more like limp crab. The pasta was bland, it was bad, salt couldn't help this dish. To top it off, there were two of us who ordered the dish and my bowl looked like it was a $5.99 lunch deal meal, such a small portion for an almost $30 bowl. It was sad. Tara took care of it though and comp'ed me another bland bowl of the Cavatelli dish. Thank you for making up for it a bit. Overall it was a good experience with the atmosphere and service as it was sort of a family dinner with people who I haven't seen in a while. It was nice to be able to sit outside and have the good service from Tara. unfortunately the food was lackluster.
