I actually would give it closer to 3.5 stars (which I still wish was a feature on here). And most of the stars are for the service. Everyone there was really nice and we ordered to go but they made sure we had what we needed before we left. I ordered a personal pizza and my boyfriend had chicken wings. My boyfriend loved his chicken wings and he said he would get them again. My pizza was ok but it definitely wasn't cooked enough. Was closer to the soggy side and the sauce seemed a bit sweet but when I put it in the over again it was better. I would go back but I would try something else.

Very delicious pizza. If you drive by or pass Mya's place you should definitely check it out.

Dark, limp and unappetizing greens, nice serving of cheese.

We ordered multiple pizzas and dinners. The pizzas were generally good, the dinners (large lasagna & hot wings) were so-so. The salad was terrible, the greens looked like they had been frozen - they were dark and limp.

    Burned garlic knots

Paid over $47 dollars for a large simple pizza and some garlic knots. Food was late for pick-up and burned. Store was not busy. Avoid overpriced and bad food.

    Generous slice of pizza

Pizza slice was large, hot and delicious. Service was friendly. Two minute walk from my hotel.

Are you looking for the best vegan cheese pizza in Playa Del Rey ( and wider) ? Beach Pizza is your spot! I moved here couple of months ago and since then this has been my regular stop. Crust is amazing, cheese is amazing and tomato sauce .... natural, delicious... just perfect ! I would always call in advance to make my order and make a couple of special requests ( light cheese, more crust and basil) and every single time it was exactly how I asked for. Addition to their delicious pizza is amazing staff, that is always so helpful and friendly. Very happy with this restraint and will definitely keep coming back.

The place had such a lively, welcoming family vibe right from the start -- it felt warm and bustling in the best way. We started with the chopped salad to share and added an order of fried calamari. For our mains, we went with the Alejo's Shrimp al Diablo pasta, Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, and the Pescatore. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The portions were generous, and we especially loved the fresh, warm Italian bread -- honestly one of the best parts of the meal! The service was excellent -- attentive, friendly, and spot-on. We paired everything with a bottle of Franciscan Cabernet Sauvignon, which was a perfect match.not too expensive All in all, Alejo's is a lively, family-friendly spot with great food and atmosphere. The garlic dipping oil is truly my draw because not only do I absolutely love garlic, it's the only place that makes it like this and SO DELICIOUS! Their calamari is on a level of it's own and again, never had any anywhere better! It's so fresh, not oily at all, super crunchy and delicious! Next (for me) is their Alejo's chopped salad, with their famous house dressing. After eating these, I never have room for an entree and been ordering these for years... This year they gave me a complimentary Tiramisu for my birthday and I have to say... it was the BEST I've ever had!! Now I need to add that to my meal every time! There's a real chew here--a springy, structured bite that gives just enough resistance before yielding. It's deeply satisfying and makes every dish feel more intentional. The cappelloni shows it off best: that almost-famous sauce wraps around each piece, but the pasta holds its own, so you get that perfect balance of silky and structured. Same with the tangiello--the meat sauce tastes like it's been simmering for days, rich and layered, but the noodles never get lost because that chew carries through. The Caesar isn't an afterthought either. It's got a subtle spicy kick that wakes everything up, and if you add chicken, it's done right--well-seasoned, nicely grilled, juicy with a bit of char. It turns a classic into something you actually remember. Dinner is where things go a little heartier, and the pork chop delivers. Fall-off-the-bone tender, but still full of flavor--not just soft for the sake of it. Jame just gets the fundamentals right, then pushes a little further. Thoughtful, textured, and the kind of place where even the chew of the pasta becomes part of the experience.

I was impressed with the clean and modern look of Jane Enoteca from the moment I walked in. Their dishes consist of several handmade pastas, salads and Italian inspired comfort food. My friend and I chose to start our meals with the Meatballs and Brussels Sprouts. Being a Brussels Sprouts fan, I really enjoyed their roasted crispy Brussels sprouts that were tossed in schiaffoni dressing and finished with sesame. Equal in deliciousness were their Meatballs. The Meatballs were tender, rich and saucy. These starters were a great way to kick off our meal here. For our mains, we got their Paccheri Lisci and Tonnarelli. The Paccheri Lisci had a bit of a spicy kick to it. It has spicy pork sausage sugo, fennel, sage and pecorino. It was meaty and flavorful. The Tonnarelli or Cacio e Pepe contrasted nicely with the Paccheri Lisci. This pasta dish was simple, sharp and peppery. This was more bold versus saucy. Last but not least we had some cookies for dessert. I loved the fresh baked snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies. It was a sweet and perfect ending to the meal here. Overall, I really enjoyed dining at Jame Enoteca. I am now looking forward to trying out their sister restaurant Jame Taqueria down the street.

Food here over the years have evolved with some changes my wife and I wasn't too happy with after Cheesecake Factory bought them out. This last visit has reversed everything I didn't like about the changes and it literally has returned to its previous glory. Food was absolutely amazing this run! I came with my wife and mom (her first visit) and we ordered so much. Food: Braised Short Rib Marsala - The meat melts in your mouth. There's no way to describe how tender is and how easy it is to pull a piece away with your fork one handed. The polenta and mushrooms the ribs sit on have a super inviting taste. My wife doesn't like truffle sauces and that be the only thing I would switch out. Other than that the vegetables were still crispy but easy to chew. Perfect dish all around. Wild Shrimp Scampi is a must order for me. The shrimps are jumbo sized with a mix of flavors that's been improved since a few months ago. It's no longer swimming in grease and a joy to eat with the generous slices of toasted garlic bread. Burrata - Sweet vinaigrette, large chunks of fresh ripped tomatoes, crunchy toast and arugula is a 100% must order. The burrata cheese melts in your mouth. Ambiance - very lively and celebratory loud, this place is perfect for a fun date, a family gathering or even just to feel energize and enjoy an amazing atmosphere Service - Service at over the years have had hits and misses but the last 3 visits have been straight up amazing. Our latest server was with James again which was the server that first waited on us and made us feel welcome many years before pandemic years. He hasn't changed a bit and remains charismatic giving benchmark setting service. This was my mom's first visit and he really impressed her that she is now ok with us traveling 25 miles to eat here again lol. A group near us was on speakerphone/FaceTime at full volume for over 20 minutes, completely disrupting the atmosphere for everyone around them. We politely brought it to the attention of our server, who informed management. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager, Romo, came over and argued with my husband. What made it even worse was Romo's response that this is a "public open space" and people are apparently entitled to be on speakerphone as loud as they want, regardless of how disruptive it is to other paying customers. Since when did restaurants become acceptable places for people to blast FaceTime calls across the bar while everyone else is trying to enjoy their evening? If management truly believes basic courtesy and restaurant etiquette no longer matter, then that says everything about the standards here. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for other customers completely ruined the experience. We won't be returning. For clarification since management repeatedly called this a "public space" that is inaccurate. This is a privately owned business open to the public, not a public park or sidewalk. Management absolutely has the right to address disruptive behavior, including customers blasting speakerphone or FaceTime calls that disturb other paying guests. The issue was never that they "couldn't" do anything?! it's that they chose not to.

And Paulina is perhaps the hardest working, most efficient manager you'll ever come across. There is never a moment when she isn't bustling around, getting things done. You can see she's under enormous pressure with the amount of customers that are constantly coming through, but she is just on top of everything. Comes over to every table, wants to ensure everything is perfect all the time. An example - yesterday we arrived after having waited an hour for our table, there were 6 of us including our toddler - she could see we wanted to order ASAP so she just came over and without taking notes, we reeled off the 9 dishes we wanted, and she recited everything back to us perfectly, coursed it out, and said she'd get the toddler's plate out immediately. After learning about this place a year ago, this past Mother's Day I finally gave them a try. Now as per all my Italian restaurant reviews here in Los Angeles, I've always said that as an Italian American from New York City, I am very picky and take my Italian food very serious. And unfortunately, a lot of places have disappointed me more than not. My first impression, I did like the customer service by the hostesses. The young lady who was our server started a little rough, with her face expressions and her not so friendliness. But throughout the duration of dinner ended up being fantastic. I guess management was there, but did some half ass walking around to the tables trying to help. Nothing special, did not even introduce themselves or do anything special for Mother's Day for tables. My party was large, and they were able to set us up in a nice space with a nice table. Which was nice. The interior is really sweet, really cute and warm. Beautiful vibe overall. The food I will say was out of this world. Super surprising once again having been disappointed after a few years of me being Los Angeles. Everything my family ordered was great. I made sure to try everyone's dish lol everything I put in my mouth was fantastic. The cost of everything was as expected. Reasonable but there were a few items of course I thought were overpriced. Like I mentioned earlier they have an appetizer of a plate of ricotta with meatballs. Ended up being two meatballs with probably not housemaid ricotta cheese. That screamed LA to me. But nonetheless, everything was delicious. Everyone in my large family enjoyed everything they ordered. I highly recommend them for a fantastic meal, and a beautiful setting whether for a date or hang out with friends. Neighborhood parking is decent and they do offer valet parking as well. I know I'll be back sooner than later, definitely a lot of times. For I am curious if their food is always good or if they just brought in the big guns for Mother's Day.
