Truth be told, I thought I knew where all the bars were especially the good ones. I realize why I never heard of this place. It is because it is in the aloft hotel. I don't normally frequent hotel bars, unless I am a guest of the hotel. And I've never stayed here at the aloft. I am Four flatscreen televisions display all the sports activity within Los Angeles as well as the nation Small bites and sandwiches available for a decent price How and why don't know this? I was compelled to find this place. OK, the jury returns with the decision that Joyce T was absolutely correct and that it shouldn't matter whether or not the lounge/bar is in a hotel lobby. Parking available right outside the lobby. If you're not a hotel guest, but you have food and beverage at WXYZ bar the front desk will validate your tickets so you can get out of the parking lot at no cost. It felt like a dead 10-15 minutes after our party was done before we were able to spot a staff member to flag down so that we could pay and head back to the conference. I stopped by the lobby in the evening and could see a much busier crowd hanging out at the bar. TL;DR: Sometimes you have limited choices and need to prioritize convenience when traveling. You can do much worse than Studio 12 so it is a good option to have onsite.
