If you're driving and checking bags, especially if you're traveling with kids, they'll help you with your luggage while you park your car or head to valet/VIP parking. The check-in process is seamless, and you bypass the usual airport crowds and long TSA security lines. In fact, you barely even feel like you're at the airport until it's time to head to your gate. The lounge itself is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The food is outstanding, and wherever you choose to sit, attentive staff come to you to take your order and provide exceptional service. Every detail feels elevated and thoughtfully designed. If you're flying Delta One or otherwise have access, this is absolutely the way to travel, especially for long-haul flights across the U.S. or internationally. If you ever fly international out of LAX, book with Delta and get Delta One seats- those ones that fully recline. We enjoyed the massage chairs, sushi, dessert, bento box, dranks and service. When we arrived in our uber a bellhop came with a bell cart and took our luggage across the street in LAX to a fancy lobby like a nice hotel has. They checked us in and did the passport check and then took our bigger bags for us to be checked. The private security has dancing TSA agents. After that we just enjoyed! Wow! I'm now officially broken - there will never be an airport lounge that compares to the Delta One Lounge at LAX. If you are arriving internationally, be prepared for a long walk, but then everything is a long walk at LAX. (And don't believe them when they tell you that gate 26 is a 5 minute walk) Upon entering the serene space, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table. This isn't the overpacked lounge with scroungy looking fruit and cups of yoplait. No, you order from a menu. I wish I'd had time to really peruse the menu - due to delays, our 3 hour layover was reduced to less than an hour. Because of time constraints, we both ordered a breakfast croissant. Perfectly scrambled eggs, thick crispy bacon, cheddar and avacado all nestled in a large, fresh croissant. Delicious. As it was breakfast time, a lovely display of morning baked goods, both sweet and savory, were displayed for your choosing. There are small bags if you are just running through. We tried a jam bar and a palmier - both were also delicious. Mimosas were freely flowing and the bar was open. Cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites and even plain old regular black coffee is available. Just ask. There is an outdoor seating area that I would have loved to have had time to sit and enjoy. You have to check out the bathrooms - my husband was oddly excited about the individual stalls. I'm now sitting in a Sky Club in Atlanta. I'd normally be happy as could be, but now it's a bit of a let down. It's time to just shake off the fairyland of flying Delta One and come back to my Southwest Airlines basic fare lifestyle. Such an amazing lounge! Yes, delta one tickets are pricey but the lounge and the check in experience was worth it for me. I was flying to Maui and was excited to see they had delta one tickets which is the only way to access the delta one lounge on domestic tickets in the US. Check in separately in the arrivals section and I definitely love that they have a private check in. The lounge was amazing. I was flying early, so beware alcohol drinks are served only after 6 am per local regulations. Yes, I did start my day at 6 am with a magnificent Mai tai! Our server was amazing, checked on us constantly. I had the green Benedict and it was perfect. Food was excellent and even the açaí bowl was a hit with my family. I didn't get to try all amenities but overall loved the relaxed ambiance and it was a 3 min walk to my gate which was so appreciated. I usually fly Hawaiian airlines to Maui but am glad I tried delta one for this flight. One of the best lounges at LAX and even the US. I will be back for sure! read more

Just flew Delta One business class to Tokyo this past week and was lucky enough to utilize this Delta One lounge before flying out. I was really impressed with the design of it and all of the staff was especially polite and attentive. They have many different seating areas with charging available at every seat, indoor and outdoor seating options, as well as a full large bar with seating at it as well. They also have showers, private and large individual toilets, massage chairs that you can reserve in 15, 30, and 50 increments, a pretty large food and drink menu that will be brought to you, and other snacks and surprises. It was also right next to the gate I was flying out of so it was extremely convenient elevator ride down up before flying out. This is definitely a big selling point for flying Delta One and I would strongly recommend and consider this when booking a ticket. read more

What can I say. 'Twas a D1 experience. I have been to the LAX D1 lounge about three times now on layovers. I have also been to the Seattle and NYC lounges. LAX takes the cake hands down. This time around I was lucky enough to scoop an upgrade on my way home from Hawaii so I was visiting after my flight. First things first, I found out last minute I had a meeting to attend in LA so they were able to change my flight for a later flight home. I was able to take a relaxation session in one of the pods, then I was able to sit down and have breakfast while I waited for a shower to open up. The relaxation pods have these very interesting chairs, the back doesn't recline normally but they tip back for that zero gravity effect. A blanket, pillow, ear plugs and light switches are provided so you can chill the way you want. Choosing what delicious thing to eat for breakfast is so hard because the menu has a touch of everything, savory and sweet. Pick your poison. I opted for the egg croissant with potatoes and vegan sausages. I was totally full and sated. There was a hiccup with the shower reservation notice system. I never got the texts to let me know I was on the list and that it was my time. Luckily I checked in with the service desk and at the right moment. I was led to the showers that are located in the regular folk lounge. The second you breeze through those doors the vibe changes, lol. Seems chaotic on that side and I know it well. I took a lovely shower and dressed for public consumption. Those shower rooms are chilly; had to steam it up. Was able to dry my hair while wearing the provided robe and slippers. The D1 lounge and amenities gave me the time and space to attend my meeting rested, clean and happily full. Obviously I wish every lounge experience could be this chill but alas it's not possible. Can't wait to return. Guess I gotta fly somewhere noice out of LAX and spring for the best spots on the plane and in the airport. read more

I hit the Delta Sky Clubs during my layovers and they are the best I've experienced. I prefer them over Centurion because they are exclusive and usually much leas crowded. So I really wanted to check out the Delta One Lounge. I finally had my chance last week and this lounge is at a whole new level. It's Delta Sky Club with massage chairs, table service dining, elevated food choices, more privacy, and less chatter. It is much more relaxing than Sky Club and the atmosphere is more professional. I got off the second leg of my then 11 hour journey, walked to the Delta One lounge, checked in and sat down and did not have to get up at all for food and drinks, like a restaurant. I rested my tired body. The sushi was good. I enjoyed 3 unagi hand roll, spicy tuna roll, and a hibiscus refresher. There was so much variety on the menu, I want to go back and try different items next time. If you are planning a long itinerary on Delta (think East Coast to Hawaii), it's worth planning to layover at an airport with a Delta One lounge and splurging on an upgrade to Delta One for the lay flat seats and access to the lounge. Use your miles, your credits, your upgrade certificates. It makes traveling an experience rather than a burden. read more

This whole experience turned out to be surprisingly fun. The night before, Delta canceled my flight, and I spent 3 hours scrambling to find a new way to get to Asia. Every San Diego flight that depended on East Coast arrivals was either massively delayed or outright canceled. Thankfully, I stumbled across a post online about a San Diego-to-LAX shuttle service (reLAXsan) that leaves at 5:45 a.m. It ended up saving the day. After barely 2 hours of sleep, I grabbed an Uber to Old Town, and the shuttle showed up right on time. We made it to LAX with almost no traffic. I had no idea my Korean Air ticket gave me access to Delta One, and things just kept getting better. They even have their own TSA line/setup, which was quick and honestly kind of fun. Then I got escorted into the lounge and told I could order straight from the menu which is different than a tradition Sky Club (buffet style). The food started coming out, really good looking/tasting stuff that was followed by some fancy local chocolates I'd never heard of. After that, I booked a quick session in the massage chair area. From start to finish, the whole experience was smooth, relaxing, and made even better by the amazing staff. I really hope I get the chance to visit that lounge again the next time I fly out of LAX. read more

Third visit in 13 months to this fabulous lounge. Something Delta Airlines has done right. Already looking forward to the next visit in Dec 26. The Delta Lounge staff on all occasions were absolutely wonderful. On all occasions the Delta One lounge was about 80-90 percent occupied. Service was friendly, responsive and polite. We visited on two early evenings and one early morning. The food and drink options were small but varied so that anyone could order regardless of their preferences. Meat options and vegetarian options. On all occasions our food arrived somewhat quickly, beautifully arranged on small plates. I loved the small plates. You can order as much as you like, therefore not much waste. If you get the options with a Hispanic influence you will not be disappointed. read more

Our first time stopping by any Delta One Lounge, my wife's and my visit to the relatively new Delta One (open less than a year) was enjoyable. It was a good experience, especially since it ended up being a reward for a non-paying upgrade. Would probably think differently if we had to pay for it via a ticket during breakfast hours. Just to get in via a reward, required a bit of planning [the only way to get in is to be flying Delta One]. We flew the one route from LA (to Boston) that allows a Regional Upgrade cert to be used to upgrade from Main to Delta One (not sure how much longer this opportunity will remain) for a small selection of dates/times. The lounge opens at 04:15, with us being the first ones to enter. A nice gentleman scanned our Delta One boarding pass, and then led us into the elevator to go up one floor. I asked the first employee we saw to educate us on how the process worked. She suggested that we sign up digitally for a massage chair session and then find our own preferred seating. Once we sat down, a server came over with menus, introduced herself and asked what we wanted for beverages. It was a good a start as any fine dining experience, except with an airport tarmac view (which was beautiful during daybreak). The variety of beverages was awe-inspiring, better than any sit-down breakfast restaurant I've been to. First, our server offered us still or sparkling water, and any beverage(s) on the menu (including alcoholic beverages, smoothies, and fresh-squeezed or pressed juices). This was when we got texted that our massage chairs were ready. I apologized to our server and she let me know she would deliver the beverages (and take our order) when we got back. The massage chair experience was great, each chair (maybe eight in all) in its own pod, with custom sounds and lighting. Ours lasted 15 minutes, which was perfect. We got back, and our server delivered our drinks and took our order. My wife got a latte (Coffee by Verve) and I got a Oolong hot tea (Art of Tea). The coffee was really enjoyed, and my tea came in a big tea pot (enough for 4 cups) which I surprisingly finished (it was really good). Because it was so early, some things were closed: bar opens at 06:00, the sushi bar at 10:00...and of course, no non-breakfast dishes. Other things: - The bathrooms are huge and luxurious, with individual rooms (not stalls, and thus single occupancy gender neutral), each with its own sink and changing area. - Variety of sitting arrangements, each meant for dining individually. - charging outlets (USB-C) at each sitting area. Wi-fi worked well. - There is a shaded/protected outdoor sitting space. It was open even that early. As for the food's quality, it was OK. It was definitely a step up from the Sky Club buffet, but wasn't as good as what I hoped. My wife got the Pitaya Bowl, and I got two: Savory Rice Porridge (it was fried rice, not porridge) and Huevos Rancheros (more like Chilaquiles, which I love but didn't care for this version). We didn't have a chance to try out their alcohol selection, because it was so early (for us)...but named wines and sakes were offered, along with named spirits like 12 year Macallan. Even really high end whiskey (like JWalker Blue) was offered for an extra fee ($25 in this case). We ended up leaving after about 90 minutes, and walked back to Terminal 2 for our flight. We boarded our 5 hour flight, and got to experience the Delta One experience (lay-flat seats, 3 course meal) uneventfully. We didn't have the opportunity to try out the Boston Delta One lounge (Delta allows you to also enter a Delta lounge at the destination location). This was due to the Boston location being at the International Terminal (which makes sense since Delta One is mainly for international travel). Once we landed, we decided it would be too difficult to try to take a shuttle bus air-side just to visit. Hopefully, we can be back sometime next year and follow my learnings for non-breakfast service. read more

I guess Delta One really is the pinnacle of everything lounge-related! You only get in here one way, by having an outbound business class ticket on Delta or one of Delta's codeshare partners. I hadn't flown business since the Delta One Lounge opened, so this was my first opportunity to come here. First things first, gotta get through security. Obviously, it's an absolute breeze here since there's barely anyone that even has access to Delta One in the first place. Essentially, it's like your own personal TSA security check. Once you're through, you go to the elevator that whisks you up to the actual Delta One Lounge itself. Now I have been to T3 Sky Club enough times to remark on how great it is. Delta One Lounge makes Sky Club look like child's play. If there was one word to describe this lounge, it is opulent. The place is just oozing with luxury! And since most people don't have access to here, there are so many places to sit. Of course, it also has an outdoor terrace just like Sky Club. Unfortunately for myself, my original flight was cancelled and I was forced to come here earlier than I was planning. As a result, I only had access to the breakfast menu and not the lunch menu. Food was still great though! Everything was made to order and was essentially restaurant-level food. I ordered the Breakfast Croissant, Eggs Norwegian, and Lyonnaise Potatoes and they were all insanely good. Honestly, I wanted to order more on this menu, but I knew for my own good that I had to hold back. They also have a whole dessert table, and I was totally here for that too. Definitely got a chance to use the massage chairs, because of course you need to use massage chairs when they are available. Only downside is that the lounge does not have its own showers. They utilize Sky Club's showers, which you can access as Sky Club is directly connected to Delta One Lounge. Not that I needed it this time, but something to note for next time. Really enjoyed my time in Delta One Lounge, which was unfortunately much too short. Gives me more reason to find another excuse to come here! read more

Wonderful lounge at LAX I'm quickly becoming a fan of Delta. They're pricier than some other airlines. And their upper classes are definitely giant jumps in cost. But using miles/points wisely (and checking different flights) can get you into the fancy schmancy Delta One Lounges and comfy seats on the flight. Ok so about the lounge. It's very nice. You're welcomed in a genuine and friendly way. They ask if it's your first visit and, if so, give you a quick rundown of the amenities. Wellness area with massage chairs (I believe the one at JFK has mini massages and facials from massage therapists), table service to any seat you choose in the lounge, showers, multiple cocktail bars, a much-mentioned sushi bar, giant restrooms, and a very serene vibe. We were there for breakfast which was very tasty. The huevos rancheros were excellent. Great pork and fennel breakfast sausage (breakfast sausage can go wrong in so many ways). And excellent coffee and Bloody Mary's. The service was excellent if occasionally lagging (since they have a lot of ground to cover). And my favorite part is (much like a top notch steak house) the feeling is very easy and casual with an undertone of incredible precision and elegance. The Delta One and Delta Skyclub lounges are some of the best in the country. Well worth a visit. Now I have to start saving miles again! read more

Truly only located about 10 minutes from main Tom Bradley International Terminal with direct access to Terminal 3 so do not let the brief walk deter you! All food and beverages (including cocktails) are ordered off the menu, freshly prepared, and unlimited (there are also some additional paid extra options for the even fancier fare). The included dishes were incredible and many were high quality restaurant quality with the heirloom tomato, yellowfin tuna sashimi, miso cod, aguachile, branzino as standouts. There were also plenty of desert options, though these were not as impressive as the main food options. Service was excellent. The Delta One Lounge adds great value to the upper class travel experience. I had access from my Virgin Atlantic upper class flight. The service is top-notch. It's a really nice, open space and it was not at all crowded when we were there. The wellness offerings include showers, nap pods and full-body massage chairs. My first stop was to sign up for the massage chairs. There was no wait when I went, but I signed up on an iPad and was added to a wait list. Then I was notified via text when it was my turn. A staff member asked a few questions and adjusted the settings of the chair. The maximum time allowed per session is 15 minutes. The staff member checked in partway through to see if I needed any adjustments. This was a really luxurious way to jumpstart the relaxation and get into vacation mode! Wi-Fi was great and reliable throughout the space. I visited at 5pm on a weekday and the lounge stayed peaceful the entire time. Entry was very smooth with no wait. Restrooms were very clean and well-maintained. There are a few separate lounge areas to sit down and relax, and the team let us know that all sections are full service. We opted to sit down in the room that is set up like a fine dining restaurant. The menu is really impressive. Between 2 of us, we ordered the roasted romanesco, steak frites, tekka maki, yellowfin tuna sashimi and bento box. The portions were satisfying, not huge. We definitely both had enough to eat. The food was very decent - definitely exceeds the quality of food in other lounges we've been in. There's also an extensive beverage list, including wine that can be purchased using miles. I thought this was clever! There's no bill to be paid. I was unprepared and didn't have cash with me. I felt bad because while airport lounges don't typically feel like tipping situations, the service here was lovely and in any other circumstance I would have left a tip on the table. I'll be prepared if I return! All in all, it was a great lounge experience, and it definitely gives me a reason to look at Delta/Virgin Atlantic upper class options when I have the opportunity. read more

Wow! What a great experience! A couple of tips... Get dropped off at arrivals level and you will walk right in, otherwise you have to go downstairs. TSA line is dedicated for you and the fastest line you ever go through. Lunch starts at 10:30 and sushi around 10am. You have full table service when inside. Make sure to tip accordingly. When flying business class going forward I will seek out Delta flights just for this lounge. So much better than any other domestic/international lounge I've been to in the US. read more

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm, and the service was professional and attentive. THE FOOD * Steak Frites: The highlight of the evening. The hanger steak had a deep, rich crust with a moist interior and incredible beef flavor. * Tasting Note: It comes with a cognac peppercorn sauce, but the beef flavor was so impressive on its own that I preferred it without the sauce * Raw Bar: The sashimi dishes were excellent. * Yellowfin Sashimi: Flavorful and textural, topped with plenty of onion crisps and ponzu. * Hamachi Crudo: Fresh and bright, served with avocado, orange, and a lime-mint citrus vinaigrette. * Bourbon Sundae: A great serving size to finish the meal. The excellent vanilla ice cream was topped with a sauce that balanced the sweet and bitter notes of the bourbon. THE WINE They offer a great wine and liquor selection. We particularly enjoyed the St. Emilion Bordeaux and the Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. Pros: Food was good and it was fun and unique to be able to order sushi in the lounge. Cons: Our server was extremely rude. No smiles, no introductions, she would not even make eye contact when taking our drink orders. Later when she came to drop off the creamer, I asked politely if sushi was available to order (just checking since it wasn't lunch time yet but had heard that sushi was made available early). She responded by telling me: "I'm getting your drinks ready since that's what you've asked for, so do you want me to get your drink or not?" in a stern manner. I was a little taken aback. I did ask for a new server hoping for a more pleasant and relaxing lounge experience and the manager delivered. However, shortly after I was assigned a new server, a different server walked by the bar a few tables down from ours, and spoke loud enough so we can all hear her, she said "I wonder where the mean server is?" in a mocking tone, clearly addressing us but so others could hear. I understand that you would want to stick up for each other at a work place, however bad behavior by a co-worker should never be rewarded. Furthermore, what type of training is Delta providing to their servers that they fear no repercussions and act so boldly? A server walking across the lounge, mocking customers? In the future, I hope Delta selects servers and any public facing staff that are at a minimum courteous and pleasant. Despite my negative experience, I'm giving 3 out of 5 stars for the manager addressing the issue right away and for the pleasant service provided by our new server. read more

Yet another great experience at the Delta One LAX! The elegance and hospitality is unmatched to any other lounge, including Delta One at JFK. After checking in, you're met by a hostess. Nahjhe was a smiling, welcoming face that met us to tell us about the lounge. There's a wellness "center" that you can sign up for with massage chairs for relaxation, a huge bar, dessert bar, sushi bar, and lots of space to sit. We chose to sit on the patio area which was similar to the sky club lounge but much better. You order food through your server. This is definitely not a buffet style experience. This lounge is amazing and I've now been completely spoiled for any other US Delta lounge. The food is scrumptious - the hamachi crudo was perhaps my favorite thing. I also got a tuna roll, as they even offer soy paper if you prefer it. The team went over and above to offer gluten free/avoiding gluten options. They did make it clear there could be cross contamination, but they did a fantastic job and I had no issues. The service is wonderful. On the day we were there, Chelsea was there to help with pretty much anything we needed. My only complaint/concern is the music they played. I wish it were more of a spa like music, instead of unappealing jazz genre. It's a mismatch to me. It's not enough to deduct a star, as I guess you could put on your own headphones, but just my observation. read more

Short Review: Brand new lounge for Delta One passengers only. The extra plane fare is worth it! This rivals the Virgin Atlantic lounges back in the day when they had all the amenities. If you've got a couple of hours before your flight, I'd recommend you pop in. Long Review: At the time of this review, the lounge has only been opened for 1 week. Everything is shiny new, high end, and top notch in terms of style, service and cleanliness. I came in to the lounge at around 4:00am. I was greeted by a cadre of hostesses and hosts - yes at that ungodly hour! I was greeted with an amenities list, offered my choice of seating, and attended to right away. I had a cappuccino and avocado toast, both of which were very splendid. Oh, don't forget the freshly squeezed orange juice! Just sayin'! The servers were very knowledgeable about the menu which is always a good sign. The lounge is very intimate and roomy. Highly suggest you stop in when you're flying Delta One. read more

Having recently frequented both the Delta One lounge at JFK and the one at LAX, I feel qualified to make a controversial judgement call. Despite all the hype the larger JFK lounge gets, the LAX lounge is the superior lounge. Fight me... Firstly, the private check-in experience at LAX is incredible. It was so quick and seamless that I was forced to throw away the water I grabbed (honestly just to grab something) because we were already through check in and I had to go through security. 37 seconds later, I'm grabbing my things and heading up the elevators to the two week old delta one lounge. The lounge itself is stunning. It is incredibly well-appointed with beautiful furniture and vibey lighting, making it the ideal place to relax before a long flight. The service is exceptional, characterized by hushed tones and rapt attention. They do a good job at making you feel like a true VIP. The highlight was undoubtedly the restaurant. The food was delicious. 100 points to Delta for bringing decent sushi to the lounge experience. I enjoyed a handroll, a California roll, street corn pizza, and orange madeleines. Odd pairing but it made sense at the time. Everything was great. Given that I usually don't eat on planes, it was the perfect pre-departure meal. Also, the bathrooms. It cannot be overstated how great it is to have a private, beautiful space to do your business. The bathrooms are essentially individual suites, adorned with so much marble, felt more akin to a Roman monument than an airport terminal. In this regard, LAX edges out JFK, which, while offering fully enclosed stalls, cannot compare to the privacy and elegance of a personal bathroom suite. I spent the rest of my time before the flight enjoying a fantastic mocktail on the terrace, watching planes take off. Suffice it to say, this is my favorite U.S. lounge and arguably the best lounge in America. Such a great experience. To draw upon the sentiment of TK California, Delta forever, goodbye! read more

Came early to the airport so we could enjoy the delta one lounge. Tried multiple items on the menu but our server was great and make our experience. The ice cream and chocolate chip cookies were delicious and would definitely order them again! read more

Pretty stellar service. Must say at the main entrance to the lounge they weren't very welcoming. However moments after when I sat myself at a beautiful table I was welcomed by the MOST helpful, service oriented, knowledgeable, friendly guy named Kyle. He guided me through the options and then when he heard me say my back was hurting encouraged me to try the wellness rooms. There a met Michelle who is an absolute gem. She's delightful and makes you feel relaxed immediately. I was fitted with a heated belt on a zero gravity chair with compression boots in minutes. All with impeccable care within a privacy pod! An absolute amazing experience. Oh my I can't forget to mention the highest quality- melt in your mouth sushi. read more
