Private Suite will change the way you travel. Its hard to explain until you try it but I will try here. You dont even enter the airport, ever. You get dropped off at this private bungalow suite adjacent to airport but outside. You are welcomed by an ambassador with a headset that already knows your name. They have champagne and caviar waiting for you. I had the caviar and then the most delicious salmon for my entree. Then, they take your passport and check you in for the flight, and come back with your boarding passes. I was flying internationally and they took care of all that extra paperwork. Next, when the flight is ready to board, they take you a few steps to a private exclusive TSA that checks you out with ease. On the other side of this TSA, there is another beverage cooler with more drinks for you to take on the plane, plus a water refill station. A fancy town car is waiting to drive you DOWN THE RUNWAY to your plane. I was taken up a secret back elevator and was the first one to board my plane. Private Suite is changing the way travel happens, as LAX continues to get more congested and more unpleasant, this is a welcome relief. I highly recommend PS.

The Private Suite at LAX can be summed up in one word... Magnificent! I was traveling to New York on business and experienced the suite with a friend who happens to be a high profile personality and a new member of The Private Suite which opened in May 2017. A few years ago United Airlines had an VIP access but due to rising costs & the events of 9/11 United closed the program leaving high profile people, celebrities, and people who can afford to be treated extra special hanging in the wind. Look no further as The Private Suite at LAX is not only convenient, but provides an extra dose of luxury and comfort before departing Los Angeles Airport, which for a big city happens to be a not so great. There are 13 well suited luxury suites equipped with bathrooms, endless drinks, delicious food, an abundance of snacks, televisions, and a staff of eight attendants to wait on your every needs. The Private Suite allows up too four guests at no additional cost and includes parking, car detailing, pre-flight deep relaxing massages, in-suite private manicures, haircuts, and preferential pricing private jet charters. Upon arriving at the entrance you are greeted by an agent who helps you with your luggage and walks you into The Private Suite. Once inside you are escorted to your suite as there are no common areas as privacy and discretion is key at the suite. The suite is well stocked with high end drinks and snacks you could ever think of. The two mini-fridges stocked to the brim with drinks and fresh snacks, including champagne, wine, beer, milk, water, juice, etc. There is even a section for all kinds of travel essentials, ranging from power cords to headphones, converters to earplugs and small bags. Upon settling in you connect to the ultra high speed WiFi and relax. There are several extremely friendly attendants to serve your every need. Finally, the phone rings and an attendant is ready to escort you to the plane. The Private Suite has it's own private TSA Security Check. No long lines, dealing with people who have never traveled before, and best of all a quick and friendly security check. Once through security you are walked outside the checkpoint and a new 7-Series BMW awaits to take you to your aircraft! Overall 5 STARS for luxury, convince, and at the end of the day makes your LAX experience beyond awesome!

We enjoyed the massage chairs, sushi, dessert, bento box, dranks and service. When we arrived in our uber a bellhop came with a bell cart and took our luggage across the street in LAX to a fancy lobby like a nice hotel has. They checked us in and did the passport check and then took our bigger bags for us to be checked. The private security has dancing TSA agents. After that we just enjoyed! Cannot wait to have this experience again!

If you are arriving internationally, be prepared for a long walk, but then everything is a long walk at LAX. (And don't believe them when they tell you that gate 26 is a 5 minute walk) Upon entering the serene space, we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table. This isn't the overpacked lounge with scroungy looking fruit and cups of yoplait. No, you order from a menu. I wish I'd had time to really peruse the menu - due to delays, our 3 hour layover was reduced to less than an hour. Because of time constraints, we both ordered a breakfast croissant. Perfectly scrambled eggs, thick crispy bacon, cheddar and avacado all nestled in a large, fresh croissant. Delicious. As it was breakfast time, a lovely display of morning baked goods, both sweet and savory, were displayed for your choosing. There are small bags if you are just running through. We tried a jam bar and a palmier - both were also delicious. Mimosas were freely flowing and the bar was open. Cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites and even plain old regular black coffee is available. Just ask. There is an outdoor seating area that I would have loved to have had time to sit and enjoy. You have to check out the bathrooms - my husband was oddly excited about the individual stalls. I'm now sitting in a Sky Club in Atlanta. I'd normally be happy as could be, but now it's a bit of a let down. It's time to just shake off the fairyland of flying Delta One and come back to my Southwest Airlines basic fare lifestyle. I'm just going to sit here and stay on my private little isle a few minutes longer ...

It wasn't very busy when I was there. Service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately because of the sun, they had the blinds down and so there were no views of the tarmac or planes. Also there's no outdoor space unlike the Delta or Star Alliance lounges. Good wifi. The drink selection was very good with lots of choices of decent wine, beer, Scotch, tequila, gin, Bourbon and vodka - all self-serve. The food was a pleasant surprise with a selection of fresh sushi included! Overall it was a good experience.

In one word: disappointed. THE FOOD: While there were more options than a typical lounge, quantity didn't make up for quality. The food simply didn't compare to the Centurion Lounge in taste or execution. Even more surprising, several items ran out and sat empty for a while before staff noticed or replenished them. THE SERVICE: This was a mixed bag. On the positive side, when I asked about a specific item being restocked, the manager personally brought out a fresh plate of my favorite dish, which was appreciated. That said, the overall attentiveness felt inconsistent (see below). THE AMBIANCE: It's definitely more private and feels a bit more "exclusive"... but not necessarily more comfortable. The main seating area was extremely warm. When I asked about it, I was told it was due to the sun pouring in through the large windows. Unfortunately, that didn't make the experience any less uncomfortable--I was genuinely miserable trying to relax before my flight. Bottom line: For the premium price, I expected a noticeably elevated experience across the board. Instead, it felt like a modest upgrade in space, but a downgrade in comfort and food quality. Not worth the hype or the cost.
