Pretty cool place; it's best to call first and reserve seating because it gets really busy. We reserved and waited about 40 minutes. Everything was so very tasty. I had the quesadilla and it was nicely flavored with the beyond beef and it wasn't oily or greasy. It was a good experience. I'm glad I went. That was my first time at The Pan. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meal and they added a huge jar of Horchata. Do not show up without calling that's the best way to ensure you're going to be seated.

Still my number one place to go to for breakfast or brunch. We still need to try this place, The Pan, for dinner. The service is great. The ambience is terrific. They always have uplifting music of old style rock 'n' roll today I decided to try the Barbacoa plate, and my husband had the kielbasa scrambled.

There's 2 locations in Gardena. The one on Western closes at 3pm and the one on Artesia closes at 9pm. This location has more ample parking lot. Their menu is huge! We ordered the steak and eggs and meat lover omelette. I ordered my steak well-done. It didn't disappoint! Didn't come out dry! Both dishes came out really good IMO. The portion size is just enough and not make you feel too heavy after eating. The waitress was nice, fast and attentive. Definitely a great place for breakfast! We will be returning again soon!

I was able to catch this place when it was not too busy, thankfully! By the time I left, it was almost full. I started off with a Mangonada which had plenty of chamoy and tajin. It had a decent amount of sweetness. I think the tajin balances out the flavor. Then, the clam chowder. I was sad to know that they no longer serve it in a bread bowl, but nonetheless, this was very good. It had a ton of clams, which I love!!! In most places, you're lucky to get 2 tiny clams in your bowl. Their clam chowder was delicious! On to the main course. I ordered the fish n chips. We had an option to substitute the fries and I chose the yuca fries. I like them, but I think regular fries is a better match for the fish. I also ordered the Mediterranean Omelet with egg whites. It comes with toast or an upgrade. GET THE UPGRADE!!! Their pancakes are so fluffy and delicious, you'll be disappointed if you went with toast instead of a pancake. Then finally, closed out my meal with a latte to-go. Latte is gooood! If you have the space, or just want something warm, I recommend the latte. In addition, our waitress, Clarissa was such a sweetheart and let us take our time to review the menu and ask questions. If you can, see if you can get a seat in her section. The restaurant is clean and the decor is so cute.

First pack your patience. Went on the weekend about 11:30am (this location open late) and party of 2 was 50-60 minute wait. Lobby is tiny and no place to wait but to stand outside or sit in car. Based on that, I still would give it 5 stars. Food was amazing and portions a good size. Had the traditional pan scramble and upgraded to lemon curd pancake (Yes do the upgrade). Every table had some sort of pancake so I say yes every time. Also, chicken and waffles. Chicken breast was boneless and had great seasoning and moist. Waffle came with blackberry butter and syrup/jam. So delicious. Looked at other tables orders and first time I'd say, everything looked delicious. Lastly, food came out pretty quick and service was amazing. *Didn't get photos because was starving.

The Lumberjack, one with regular buttermilk and one upgraded to banana pancakes

Solid brunch place in Gardena! I was recommended to go to this location because of the big parking lot and it was a very nice perk! I will say I came at 10 am on a Saturday and there was a bit of a wait. The food itself is good in the way that comfort food is good. No frills. Not that aesthetic. Does it have the best of anything I've ever had? Not at all. But it really hits the spot when you want a classic American breakfast and the ambience and good service is what makes it so great. We both got the Lumberjack ($20) but I upgraded my pancakes to a specialty pancake for an extra $2. The Lumberjack is a solid breakfast plate with house potatoes, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pieces of sausage and your choice of 2 eggs with 2 pieces of pancake included. If you want all sausage/all bacon they can accommodate that as well with no extra charge. The house potatoes were a good texture even if it doesn't look like it. Not the biggest crunch but still had a crunch. Not mushy at all. I did enjoy the bell peppers mixed in! The bacon/sausage is nothing to write home about. Salty, greasy just like you would expect. The pancakes were soft and fluffy. I did enjoy the extra nuts and bananas in mine but the regular ones were good too! Syrup is in a bottle on the condiments basket. The syrup itself is very mid, very whatever, but I do believe they have maple syrup on the menu for an extra charge. Our server Rudy was incredible. He's super friendly and kept checking up on us, asking if we wanted refills of coffee. He would bring us extra napkins and coffee creamer too. He also took our photos for us! Much appreciated!! Sometimes you go to places and it feels like you're a nuisance or that they can't wait to turnover your table, but this place is super friendly and welcoming. We were there for a little over an hour and it made for a great catch up experience. Other tables were chatting as well. None of that fast food, get in, get out culture here. I can see why it's such a popular brunch place!

Shrimp and grits, I betta neva hear anyone say anything bad bout this dish, devoured it!!

What can I say about this place other than YES PLEASE! It's always so good. The very friendly greeter (woman) said the wait was going to be about an hour but we honestly did not wait that long. I love how the waiting list is by phone so you don't have to wait inside, just near by. The food is fantastic! I had the kielbasa scramble with a tiramisu pancake. My husband had the shrimp and grits with a plain waffle. My tiramisu pancake was amazing! Sweet and delicious. My kielbasa scramble although very good it did not come close to being better than my husband's shrimp and grits, which we shared. The shrimp and grits are on a different level and they hit hard every time. The place is filled with people but we received a warm welcome and the waitress, Sam took good care of us. It can be a little loud inside but it's also cozy and the music playing throughout the restaurant was also a vibe. I love this place, I'll never get tired of it.

Ambiance: it's one of the most popular breakfast and lunch chains in South Bay Area, there's usually a waiting line outside and packed inside Service: very friendly and super patient with questions, provided useful suggestions, and refilled water adequately Food & Drink: numerous items for breakfast and lunch items, and they also serve dinner at this location Short Rib Benedict - **** two corn cakes topped with short rib braised barbacoa over mexican street creamed corn, poached eggs, and poblano cream sauce, tasty beef and unique flavors, recommend The Meat Lover Omelet - ***** bacon, sausage, kielbasa, ham, garlic, jack and cheddar cheeses tucked inside three eggs, served with house potatoes, simple ingredients and rich in flavors, highly recommend Tiramisu Pancake - *** coffee flavored pancakes, topped with a sweet vanilla mascarpone, chocolate shaving, cocoa powder, sweet espresso syrup, and whipped cream, tasted unlike tiramisu, still a good chocolate pancake Drip Coffee - **** freshly brewed and bold taste, recommend Price: generous portions and affordable prices, expect $30 per person for a very fulfilling meal

Came last night around 6:45pm. Got the loaded hashbrowns, strawberry pancakes, & cast iron burger Everything tasted good, our server was nice & she checked up on us. The food was fresh & we enjoyed it This spot is like a fancy diner that offers breakfast all day, lunch, & has a dinner menu. They also have some happy hour options from 3-7pm

Breakfast fire, servers are so sweet!! The restaurant it's self seems a bit small but you can definitely look past that because of how great the food taste! Will definitely be coming back

Revisiting my review Because our server RUDY is amazing. Very tentative from start to finish. Took to heart his food recommendations and enjoyed the banana pudding dessert he also suggested adding a sprig of rosemary on top was going the extra mile. The vibe is positive dining here today.

Was able to try a couple items this trips. Ordered the Bulgogi Potato Pizza 10" a which was definitely appetizing as it was filling. Great blend of flavor and distribution of ingredients, not one item took over the other which makes for a great blended pie. Also got the half crispy chicken in the soy garlic flavor. With so many other friend chicken competition around the area specifically Korean Friend Chicken, can definitely say their take is well in the running for top friend Korean flavored chicken due to the flavor and serving size. Just got the food to go this time but the service was on time based on the order details online which made for a simple and easy transaction. I do think they were a little understaffed because once lunch started picking up, it was harder for her to check on our table. Overall, though, service was still good! What we got: Sweet Potato Fries $5.99 | 8/10 Pretty standard sweet potato fries. Nothing too crazy, but they were good! Corn Cheese $10.99 | 8/10 Another pretty standard dish, but the portion size was really good! Plenty to share with the table. 12-Piece Extra Crispy Chicken Wings $22.99 | 9/10 We got lemon pepper and soy garlic. Lemon pepper was way better than soy garlic for me! I really liked the crispy batter and seasoning on the wings. I'd definitely come back for these. Sweet Potato Pizza $18.99 | 7/10 Very unique! The sweet potato flavor on a pizza is definitely something I'm not used to. It was a little too sweet for me, but I'm glad we tried it. Bulgogi Pizza $21.99 | 8/10 This was definitely the better of the two pizzas for me. I much preferred the savory bulgogi flavor and would order this one again. Soju $14 Can't go wrong with some soju to go with Korean fried chicken! Overall, a solid spot for Korean fried chicken, pizza, and drinks with a group. The wings were definitely the highlight for me, especially the lemon pepper!

I came in a few minutes after the restaurant opened and placed my order for a thin crust, pepperoni, and pineapple (don't judge) medium pizza and a large Thai iced tea. The gentleman who took my order made the tea first, from scratch. I love this drink and typically assume it's just going to be sweeter than I like but this one was balanced so well, just sweet enough for me. My pizza was ready in about 25 minutes and WOW! This is the thin crust of my dreams. Not too thin that it folds under the weight of the ingredients or gets super soggy and a crunchy crust! I took a bite without adding on parmesan and chili flakes, delicious both ways. Next time, I'm definitely going to add one of the oil drizzles, I'm sure it'll be great too. For our first visit, my daughter suggested the Tandoori Tikka Pizza (Tandoori Chicken). We also ordered the Halal Chicken Wings, Garlic Naan, and a small salad. Right away, the smell when you walk in is incredible, and the staff greets you immediately, which made a great first impression. Now for the food -- the pizza was delicious with the perfect amount of toppings. The sweet and tangy BBQ sauce really brought everything together. I personally would've liked a little more cheese, but the crust was cooked perfectly with a nice chewy texture. The wings were another standout that both my wife and I really enjoyed. Slightly crispy on the outside while still delicate and moist inside, with a mild heat from the spices that wasn't overpowering. The naan was decent with a good garlic flavor, although it was a bit thin for my preference. The salad was fresh and delicious -- we always appreciate having plenty of vegetables with our meals. Overall, definitely recommend checking them out. Next time we're planning to try the Butter Chicken Pizza.

First time customers deserve better:…read more My husband and I visited for the first time recently. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and our server invited us to choose any table. She immediately brought over two bottles of water and asked if it was our first visit. We said yes. She went over the menu in some detail. She did not ask if we wanted a drink, nor did she mention that the bottled water she had already placed on our table would be added to the bill. We ordered the lamb tikka pizza and the bhindi masala. The food was decent, but not remarkable. Portions felt a bit light for the price. The pizza crust was more like a crunchy pita, and the toppings were sparse. The okra was decent. Overall, I'd give the food 3 stars. The reason for my 1-star review is the way the restaurant handles water. We were automatically given bottled water before we had even looked at the menu, and at no point were we told there would be a charge. When the bill arrived, we discovered we'd been charged $1.50 for each 12-ounce plastic bottle. We had three, for a total of $4.50. This isn't about the money. It's about transparency. In most restaurants, water is provided as a courtesy, so presenting bottled water immediately to first-time customers without mentioning a charge feels misleading. If bottled water is the only water option available, that should be clearly communicated upfront. To make matters worse, there's a prominent sign stating that outside beverages are not allowed, which presumably includes bringing your own water bottle. After paying our bill and leaving a 20% tip, we suggested that first-time customers be informed about the water charge when they're seated. The response was a shrug and, "It's in the menu." Maybe it is. But if you're going to place bottled water on the table before customers have even opened the menu, the courteous thing to do is mention that it isn't complimentary. A simple heads-up would have avoided the entire issue.

The sauce was quite overbearing. The comments were right about one thing: it was very tangy. However, the good news is that my family loved it.
