Grabbed some after dinner scoops of ice cream. You're able to sample their flavors before committing. They can also do split scoops. Their vegan ice creams are really good - for those that have lactose issues. Got a vegan ice cream and regular version. Both were spot on. The price is a bit high, but is really good ice cream. Will be back.

I had been wanting to try this place so I'm glad I got to! They have many flavors, including many unique and vegan ones! I got a regular scoop of the dark chocolate salted Oreo. I should've gotten the kids scoop because the regular actually came with a lot! The ice cream was so creamy and smooth. The dark chocolate flavor was pretty good. It came with a good bit of Oreos too. I just wish it was balanced with a little more salt. I don't know if the worker helping us was just tired from the day but he wasn't super friendly and the other worker didn't seem to be either.

The ''vegan'' ice cream street sign caught my attention so I had to go try a scoop after lunch today. I ordered the dark chocolate with peanut butter and it was so delicious. The kids' size cup was more than enough because it was quite rich. I didn't specifically count, but I think there were about ten types of non-dairy ice cream. At most other ice cream shops, I'm lucky if they have one non-dairy flavor and a sorbet. It was unusual to see tasting spoons that were metal and to-go spoons that were wooden. As much as I liked the ice cream, there were two things that will ensure that I don't become a regular: 1) there was only outside seating and those chairs were quite low and looked uncomfortable 2) the prices were very high. A child's cup was $6.95 but I will say that the server packed in as much as she could. Though I won't be a regular, I will be back.

If you're an ice cream lover with divine taste, stop what you're doing and head to Ginger's Divine Ice Cream in El Segundo -- this hidden gem is seriously scoop heaven. I popped in on a warm afternoon, lured by the buzz on IG, and let me tell you... it did not disappoint. I went for the Rocky Road (because nostalgia and chocolate, duh), and WOW -- the flavors are next-level. This isn't your average rocky road. We're talking velvety rich chocolate ice cream, loaded with fluffy marshmallows that melt on your tongue and perfectly roasted almonds that add that satisfying crunch. It's indulgent without being overly sweet -- a balance that's hard to nail but Ginger's does it effortlessly.

Never have I seen so many vegan flavors and regular flavors!! Many of them are unique too like prickly pear sorbet and blueberry pie. The ice cream tasted really good and gourmet. They even let u sample which is nice but after my daughter's 5th flavor sample, the guy seemed kind of annoyed but then again I don't really blame him.

Gingers Divine Ice Cream was indeed Divine! The staff member who helped me was personable and engaged me in conversation as I sampled my way through the case. They had unique flavors and I loved the whiskey chocolate one. The space was spacious and I enjoyed my scoops on the cozy chairs outside. Whenever I have to go to LAX, I'll make it a point to go to Gingers.

Ginger's is just what its name says...DIVINE! Here's my summary! Options: There are very few ice cream shops that include more than 2-3 vegan options. I'm so tired of being offered sorbets because they're the only dairy-free options! Also kudos to this shop for treating vegans like we deserve to enjoy goody goodness of yummy ice cream. I selected 1/2 chocolate covered strawberry vegan ice cream and 1/2 chocolate. Customer Service: good and quick. We were offered samples because it was a first time there. Afterwards we sat outside in the chairs supplied by the shop. Parking: street parking or small parking lot shared with multiple other restaurants Pricing: inflation is real people but the price was to be expected Location: downtown, Main St area of El Segundo

My cute split scoop! Chocolate and Vietnamese Coffee

Great ice cream! Cute little ice cream shop and great service. The worker was very kind and allowed us to sample the ice creams. He was very patient with our party of 5. THERE WERE SOOOO MANY FLAVORS! I think I counted over 40 flavors? I had a hard time choosing! There were a ton of vegan flavors too so this ice cream shop is vegan-friendly. All the ice creams I tried were delicious, I think it just comes down to whatever you personal preference is. I love chocolate and tried a few chocolate flavors and loved them all. I ended up doing a split scoop with my husband of Vietnamese Coffee and a milk chocolate flavor that I can't remember the name of (it was milk chocolate ice cream with bittersweet chocolate chunks or something like that). A tasty combo! I'd definitely come back!

Three of us stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. The happy young lady behind the counter asked us if we wanted to try out any samples and we gladly accepted. After much discussion on which flavors we liked best we chose our favorite one scoop on a cone. The one scoop is big and more than enough. We sat outside enjoying our dessert and people watching.

So excited about this new location of Ginger's! Aka the best (if not one of the best) ice cream scoop shop in LA. There are more flavors than you can count, which is seriously impressive for a gourmet artisan style shop. Even more impressive is the abundance of vegan flavors (which are beyond delicious). This new location couldn't be better as it's right in the heart of downtown el segundo, right next to Sausal, Japonica, and Jame! They are so generous with their samples and scoops here. I got to try a ton of flavors before deciding on my final choices.

my coworkers and i were at happy hour across the street and ive passed by this place a couple times so i decided to try it! there's street parking for this place and they have a tonnn of flavors to choose from. the staff were super nice and happy to let us taste different flavors so that we could find one that we liked. i ended up choosing two scoops - lavender honeycomb and coffee! it melted so fast because it was hot that day but i loved both flavors. the lavender honeycomb was a unique flavor with the additional sweetness from the honey, and you can def never go wrong with coffee. it was a cute store with a few small tables of seating outside!

Hubby & I like to eat at a few restaurants in this area. We were surprised to see a new Ice Cream shop coming to the neighborhood. Super happy that it was Gingers Divine Ice Cream! We've been to the one on Washington Blvd. a few times. It's so nice to have one closer! Just look for the bright yellow chairs & "tables" outside! The two drawbacks to this place are: A) that there is no place to eat your ice cream inside B) the chairs are hard to get out of once seated. The ice cream may seem a little pricy, but I feel they make up for it with their pretty large portion sizes. If I were eating the ice cream by myself, I'd get the Child's Scoop. I usually share with my husband & we get either the One Scoop or Two Scoops depending on our mood. Two Scoops is a whole lotta ice cream to consume! TIP: Each scoop of ice cream you want split costs $.50¢. If you get the 2 scoops split, it costs $1 more. ( https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/gingers-divine-ice-cream-el-segundo?select=rZ3PPzzzbOvMunMJJob8vQ ) They have some pretty interesting & somewhat unique flavor combinations! We have sampled lots of flavors! I love that they give samples using metal spoons. My favorites have been the Winter Wonderland, Billionaire Brownie, & Lavender Honeycomb. Their ice cream is quite luscious & rich! We've shared scoops of the Cherry Cheesecake Brownie, Butterscotch Oreos & Fudge, Chocolate Peanut Butter Crack, Campfire Marshmallow, California Gold, & Winter Wonderland. There's a sign that says "CARDS ONLY". Not sure if it is applicable or not because they accepted our cash payment. Their customer service has been attentive & friendly when we've visited. There's no rush, but there is usually a line, so we try to sample and make our choices fairly quickly. They also sell Brownies, Cookies, & Waffle Cones. In the freezers are Hand Packed Pints, Hand Crafted Ice Cream Bars and Sandwiches for sale. Ginger's Divine wants you to enjoy what you purchase. At the bottom of the receipt it reads, "If you ever buy something you do not like at Ginger's please bring it back for something you love. We want you to be happy." How great is that?!?! I want to try the Farmer's Market Strawberry. Smoked Almond Rocky Road, and anything new when I go back!

The…read moreshop has a cool vibe and the staff is really friendly and let you sample a bunch before deciding. Some of the flavors are honestly really good and creative, but a few feel a bit over the top or just not something you'd want in ice cream. It's more of an experience place than somewhere I'd go when I just want a simple scoop. It's also on the pricier side, but that's expected for the type of shop it is. Overall, I'd say it's worth trying at least once, especially if you like adventurous desserts...but it might not be everyone's everyday ice cream spot.

Anyway- I came because a friend was raving about Salt and Straw and swore by it. Said it was the best ice cream in the world and I had to try. He said I had to have the salted caramel. I am not a huge ice cream person but I do enjoy some once in a while. I've tried Brusters and Handel's and I think they're overhyped. Of course I've had Baskin Robbin's, Thrifty's, Dreyers, Haagen-Dazs and so far HD is my favorite - until today. I had the salted caramel ribbon and I was totally blown away. I LOVED the vanilla ice cream and texture. I thought the caramel was incredible. I had never had ice cream as delicious as this. I called my boyfriend right away because he IS a big ice cream person and I had him choose a couple flavor pints I could take to him. He chose rum raisin and hazelnut cookie. I brought home a salted caramel pint for him to try too. Oh my gosh. We're going to try those together later and I will follow up with another review. So excited. They also have the best waffle cone I've ever had.

I am sure, dear reader, that you are aware that some people pronounce the word data like data, and…read morenot like data. this same concept is true when we consider the business name of Handel's. I thought it was pronounced Handel's like a last name should be, but a security guard, who I asked for directions to get to this place, called it Handel's like one calls the things one grips in bikes. Which is the correct way of saying it? I leave that up to you dear reader, as well as what ice cream flavor you want, and whether you want this ice cream in a cone or bowl, or made into a milkshake. However you take your ice cream I will say that you will likely enjoy it more in the resting place that Manhattan beach offers. As my pictures show, I took my ice cream (which was in a waffle cone, witha chocolate rim, decorated with peanuts for some extra light crunch) and I enjoyed it in a bonfire that I did not have to light. In the background, the Nice to Meet you song by Miles Smith gently wafting in the background. The gentle breeze, the notes around, the taste of damn good ice cream, all conspired to help me feel relaxed in place and mood. Thus, if one wants Handel's and also a place to sit that feels right for ice cream, the Manhattan Village one offers all that, at least it did for me. This Handel's is not a walk-in brick location. it is a window. The person who helped us out on this day was Jasmine, and of course her service was princess like. For instance, she showed me the difference between milkshake sizes and the difference between them is significant to the point where a large one can serve two. View the pictures and I invite you to disagree, if one can. Their ice cream selection is lengthy, and creative, and considerate--- they have sugar free and vegan options. So they have a large and ample array of flavors that will satisfy most if not all sweet tooths. I wanted to take the time to celebrate this Handel's for its location because the environment created the ice cream experience. So it was not the cherry on the top, it was the cone, that supported the ice cream.

I especially love the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, which is always delicious. One of the reasons I prefer this Redondo Beach location is their generous portions.
