There's something for everyone. They had an entire case of fruity/floral flavors, and an even bigger section of the sweet/desserty flavors. I was having a hard time choosing, but I liked how you could order two half scoops so that you could get two flavors without paying for the price of two (still 50 cents more though). I chose a half scoop of butterscotch Oreos and fudge and a half scoop of burnt sugar vanilla. I was a klutz and dropped my sample spoon of the burnt sugar vanilla on the ground, so I didn't get to try it, but it sounded delicious, so I opted for that flavor. I wish I hadn't because it was good but wasn't great. I thought it was unique how there were actual pieces of burnt sugar in the ice cream, but I guess the crunch wasn't what I was looking for in the moment. The two drawbacks to this place are: A) that there is no place to eat your ice cream inside B) the chairs are hard to get out of once seated. Stopped by with coworkers one weekday afternoon and it was empty except for us. One employee working the counter who was helpful and let us know about the samples that we could have. Outside, they've got a few seats and low tables. They have a LOT of flavors and some are quite interesting, it was hard to choose. The child scoop and regular 1-scoop differ by $1 so most will be compelled to pick up the regular scoop. It may seem expensive but know that the child scoop is quite large already! It's comparable to a regular scoop anywhere else so if you just wanted to try a bit, it's a reasonable option. I was pleasantly surprised by how much you get in that small cup. I'm sure there are places that are potentially cheaper like Cold Stone down the street but this seems to be of better quality. A sweet treat every once in a while! read more

The last time I was in this area, this location was occupied by a cupcake spot that was really good so I was sad to see it go but happy to see it's not sitting vacant. Ginger's has an impressive lineup of regular, dairy-based and vegan ice cream. I tried the butterscotch Oreo and my bf got a chocolate chip cookie dough. We both got one scoop in a cup. Both flavors were creamy, decadent, and one scoop was more than enough. My bf thinks his flavor was more like Rocky Road but maybe he accidentally got the wrong scoop, who knows. There are a few tables and chairs outside otherwise you'll have to take your ice cream elsewhere to enjoy it. There is no seating inside and limited space other than to order.
