    Half donut half bagels
    Monica R.

Came by to grab some donut and bagels for my team. The employee there was very nice and welcoming. He boxed my donuts and bagels up which was nicer than just walking in to work with a bag. There was a variety of donuts and bagels. The bagels were very soft and light. The donuts were a little dense but not too bad.

Early Riser combo before 7am = Brew + Donut for $4, best deal out there! The maple bar was very good, and I'm always on the hunt for a good MB. Coffee is tasty and strong. Cute display of sweet treats and some tables inside to sip and talk. Glad we have a new donut shop in Gundo!

A million points for opening at 5am and serving breakfast burritos near LAX. Extremely limited options at that time. Located in a small shopping center in El Segundo, I was thrilled to know that I wouldn't be stuck eating a frozen McDonald's or Starbucks sandwich. The place is clean and service is excellent. First thing that caught my eye was the fresh Apple Fritter & Bear Claw selection at pre-Covid prices. Breakfast burrito was on the smaller scale but it also is 3-4 dollars cheaper than nearby options. Cut in half and easy to eat with little to no bacon grease pouring out. In my opinion for a 5-7am breakfast burrito option in the area, theres no need to go elsewhere.

    Bear Claw. Yes!!

I am a donut expert and aficionado. As soon as a donut is in my hand, I have a good idea if it's gonna' be good and if it's worth the calories. What you wanna' look for in a donut or any other donut like variation, such as an apple fritter, bear claw, fried cinnamon roll, etc, is the weight. If if feels heavy, that's generally not good, because it's too oily. The next thing you do is take just one bite and and keep it in your mouth for a bit before swallowing it to get a taste of the oil. If it's oily or stale, you are not getting your calorie/enjoyment ratio which equals to, not worth the calories. I can assure you, the donut creations here are worth the calories and there's no oily taste to be found! I had a bear claw, and it was packed to the gills with apple filling. Holy smokes, was it ever good! My friend had a breakfast sandwich that I had a hard time not stealing from her. It was awesome! They also have an espresso bar and plenty of other things to drink. The prices are on par with any donut shop, which was surprising, because this place is more premium. Parking is plentiful and free, and the staff is awesome! I'm writing this review in October 2025, and it's a soft opening. So far so good!

    The lax burrito

A great looking assortment of bagels, donuts, croissants, other baked goods, and breakfast items. Got the LAX burrito and was pretty satisfied with it. Not the most tasty or amazing burrito I've ever had, but certainly nothing to sneeze at. $14 seems like a reasonable price. Service inside was friendly and expedient. Lines can back up to the outside during peak times on weekends. Definitely worth a visit.

This Guava Glazed Donut was really dam good. The guava was not to sugary it was perfect. Definitely made in house. If you love glaze donuts please give this a try. The workers were attentive and helpful with any questions I had.

A great new addition to town. This coffee shop offers a wide selection of donuts, bagels, and coffees, so there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with some indoor and outdoor seating available. I tried their croissant, and it was absolutely amazing--perfectly buttery with just the right flaky texture. Friendly service and fresh offerings make this place well worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

I discovered this place by accident while I was out on a walk and decided to stop in for a coffee. I'm so glad I did. Everyone working there was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly. It instantly felt like one of those neighborhood spots where people genuinely care about their customers. The coffee was excellent, smooth, fresh, and exactly what I needed on my walk. On top of that, the manager, Juan, went out of his way to show genuine hospitality, which truly made my day. Great coffee, great donuts, and even better customer service. I'll definitely be stopping by again and highly recommend checking this place out if you're nearby!

Great service. They recommended the apple fritter. My husband said it was one of the best he's had and he's had a few! Pumpkin muffin was delicious. Can't wait to try the rest of the donuts tomorrow morning. Will update the review once we do.

The glossiest frosting ever seen! Apple fritter, maple long John, chocolate old fashioned, Nutella and strawberry stuffed deliciousness!
    Lori T.

The most charming bakery just opened a few months ago, with the glossiest frosted donuts I've ever had! Great coffee choices with many syrups to try, and can't wait to try the breakfast burritos! Definitely worth a visit.

Picked up 4 dozens Dodgers-themed donuts to celebrate the World Series Champs! The croissants and vanilla latte are yummy too!

I looked up a local bagel shop and went to Uncle Stevey's! PERFECTION! I went home to make some eggs, turkey bacon, avocado, and matcha to make a nice breakfast at home and it fully satisfied my craving. The everything bagel had a great amount of topping, the chili garlic crunch had a nice heat, and the cheddar hot honey was perfectly sweet with a cheesy crust. Their menu had the right amount of breakfast type of bagel sandwiches that I was looking for - a bagel with cream cheese, a bagel & egg only sandwich, and a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. The bagel consistency was nice and chewy. The only qualm was with hubby's order. I asked for easy on the cream cheese and his bagel ended up with A LOT of it on his bagel so he had to scrape it off. Usually I'd eat the extra cream cheese but I had a bagel breakfast sandwich instead. *Note for next time: Get the bagel sliced and toasted with the cream cheese on the side I also picked up a loaf of their sourdough bread. Hubby is picky about sourdough but he really enjoyed the tang/flavor of their bread. It would definitely be somewhere to stop by when we're passing through or in the area again.

I think these breads and pastries are nice, but what brings the fifth star is when they use their breads for sandwiches. My wife ordered a blanco toast, which had ricotta, avocado, and a bunch more flavor bombs over freshly baked sourdough toast. I highly recommend their 'works" bagel sandwich. I had it on a sesame seed bagel with a very tasty scallion cream cheese. What made it amazing was their use of perfectly ripened, sweet heirloom tomato, thinly sliced red onions, briny capers, delicious olive oil, and fresh dill, that gave perfect balance and perfect seasoning. We sat at a communal bench/table to enjoy our breakfast items (which they stop serving after 10:30); however, we noticed that others were eating some delicious-looking sandwiches served on their fresh baguettes. We came mainly to try The Works bagel (bagels are served only until 10:30a). I liked that all the other toppings (heirloom tomato, cucumber, onion, dill) helped to balance out the saltiness of the cured salmon. The salmon was so-so though, not really the star. I surprisingly really enjoyed the heirloom tomato, so I'd get probably skip the cured salmon next time and just do the Heirloom Bagel. I also tried their Matcha Einspanner, which was kind of watery.
