Meh, I don't think I will go back. Got their latte, tastes very watery. Big space . I didn't try other food, they do have a deli section. Service is just fine. Nothing above and beyond. They make your drink and you leave.

    Bagel cream cheese & lox

MBB may be the only dedicated bagelry in Manhattan Beach as far as I can tell. It's a clean, contemporary restaurant with a wide selection of Jewish deli favorites. I enjoyed my classic bagel with cream cheese and lox. I also bought a couple tubs of spreads-delicious white fish and salmon spread. I even bought a container of chocolate chip cookies which were soft, chewy and delicious. Service was good, there's a nice amount of seating inside but I had takeout. There is a good sized shopping center parking lot as well. Highly recommended.

Was in town and grabbed a quick bagel for breakfast, got the cheddar jalapeños bagel. As you can see from the picture, they dont even bake in the cheddar or jalapeños into the bagel, they put a slice of white cheese and some jalapeños pieces on top of the bagel. The cheese and jalapeños fell off right when I opened the aluminum foil. Has to to be the worst and laziest cheddar jalapeños ever made. It's funny because there website say these are only available Fri-Sun, they must have a specialists the is able to place a slice of cheese on a bagel only on the the weekends. I would give negative stars if Yelp allowed that. Do better, lazy AF.

Came in to get some bagels with a friend. Inside is bright. Decent amount of seating. There's also a small patio area with a few tables in front. I got the herb and spice cream cheese on an onion bagel. It was really good. My friend got the lox bagel and it was tasty. Small parking lot in front. Service is kind of slow though and staff isn't all that friendly. We waited a while for our order then my friend went up to ask and they said they gave it to someone else. Didn't seem apologetic about it and seemed more annoyed to have to make it again. Overall good bagels but service is lacking. Probably better as a to-go option.

Very sad blueberry bagel with a hint of strawberry cream cheese

I looked up a local bagel shop and went to Uncle Stevey's! PERFECTION! I loved their bagel flavors - I ended up getting cheddar hot honey, chili garlic crunch and an everything bagel with a container of scallion cream cheese. I was in and out in two minutes tops! I went home to make some eggs, turkey bacon, avocado, and matcha to make a nice breakfast at home and it fully satisfied my craving. The everything bagel had a great amount of topping, the chili garlic crunch had a nice heat, and the cheddar hot honey was perfectly sweet with a cheesy crust. I would probably mainly get a half dozen to go again, but the shop had a great ambiance and I wouldn't mind eating there and taking a walk around the neighborhood. Parking was ample and really easy too!

I think these breads and pastries are nice, but what brings the fifth star is when they use their breads for sandwiches. My wife ordered a blanco toast, which had ricotta, avocado, and a bunch more flavor bombs over freshly baked sourdough toast. I highly recommend their 'works" bagel sandwich. I had it on a sesame seed bagel with a very tasty scallion cream cheese. What made it amazing was their use of perfectly ripened, sweet heirloom tomato, thinly sliced red onions, briny capers, delicious olive oil, and fresh dill, that gave perfect balance and perfect seasoning. We sat at a communal bench/table to enjoy our breakfast items (which they stop serving after 10:30); however, we noticed that others were eating some delicious-looking sandwiches served on their fresh baguettes. I know that I have to come back for those!

But if I was in the area, I'd say this was a solid choice if you were looking for a bagel. They also had a lot of different types of pastries -- I noticed a lot people ordering those. We tried their butter croissant and croissant cinnamon roll. The croissant was okay, not the best. The cinnamon roll was tasty, I liked it better than a regular cinnamon roll. We came mainly to try The Works bagel (bagels are served only until 10:30a). I liked that all the other toppings (heirloom tomato, cucumber, onion, dill) helped to balance out the saltiness of the cured salmon. The salmon was so-so though, not really the star. I surprisingly really enjoyed the heirloom tomato, so I'd get probably skip the cured salmon next time and just do the Heirloom Bagel. I also tried their Matcha Einspanner, which was kind of watery. I'd pass on their drinks.
