I'd been to the El Segundo location of Offset once before, a few years ago, and didn't love it, but I found the Manhattan Beach location to be considerably better. I don't quite remember when this location but I believe it's been here for less than a year. Since our first visit here, we've been here multiple times and I've enjoyed their flavored matcha drinks and coffees. There isn't much in the way of ambiance because there's only a tiny section of the store to stand in to order, and then you have to wait on the street to get your coffee. Service has always been friendly and quick. They also have a range of pastries available. I've liked the drinks on a number of occasions here, however when we visited last weekend, I got an unsweetened matcha latte that just tasted like almond milk. I would recommend visiting this place if you just want a grab and go coffee. read more

I usually frequent the El Segundo location after workouts but my girl & I decided to come to this one on a weekend for the BAGELS, specially the farmers market bagel sandwich. Sadly I don't have a photo but it was AMAZING and enough to share. Pastries, bagels, etc are made fresh (but I believe bagels are only on weekends). We also go the french toast latte (or cinnamon toast latte? lol I don't remember) but it was super good! It's also so close to the beach that we took a little walk and enjoyed our coffee and food on a bench near the stand :) highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back here! There's very limited street parking right in front and a small structure across the street (all metered). read more

Offset everything and head on over to the beach! Offset Coffee Co is now in Manhattan Beach! Back in 2018; the very first Offset Coffee Co opened up in Torrance. I still remember spotting the Offset sign and being intrigued. After my first trip there I was hooked on their delicious coffee as well as their pastry offerings. It quickly became one of my favorite go to spots for a cup of Joe! I was excited when they opened their second location in El Segundo a few years later and now I am even more excited to see them expand with a third location in Manhattan Beach. Located just one block from the beach; is this new location. I will admit I was a bit worried about parking (you do need to park at meters) but there are two 24 min meters in front of the spot as well as lot right across. This location is take out only and it is cute and quaint. They offer all the Offset Coffee classics and I was happy to get my favorite latte! One other awesome thing to note is they have partnered with local award winning Chef Sherry Yard! This weekend they are having a special bagel pop up where Chef Sherry herself was preparing fresh made bagels. I got myself a Farmers Market bagel with fresh vegetables, avocado and cream cheese for $7. I'm happy to see Offset Coffee Co. in Manhattan Beach and happy to see them brewing some beachside bliss! read more

Unfortunately I've given this place 3 chances. The first time I waited 25 minutes for coffee (only 3/4 people in line before me). One gentleman left behind me because it was taking so long. The second time the cream separated from the coffee and I asked her to remake it. The third time I asked for an americano with a SPLASH of cream (see photo as it is mostly cream). Very disappointing!! I'm giving it 2 stars because of the pastries. I also reached out to them online prior to posting this in hopes of getting a response~never got one ! I'm all about supporting local joints but this establishment doesn't train their employees and/or have enough employees to service customers properly. I hope it changes. read more

It's worth the wait on a weekend morning! The veggie bagel was so delicious as was my nitro cold brew with lavender and cold foam. The owner also stopped by with oatmeal, peanut butter and sweet potato dog treats that she baked fresh that morning which my dogs thoroughly enjoyed. The baked goods for humans looked delicious as well but I didn't have room so now have a good excuse to return! read more

I ordered a matcha latte and a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with egg, cheese and avocado instead of bacon. The matcha was mediocre because of the quality but the barista did an excellent job making it with cinnamon and honey. Just couldn't taste much of the matcha flavor itself. The breakfast sandwich was incredible! Bagel perfectly crispy warm on the outside and soft inside, tomato jam incredible flavor. This place is a hole in the wall so not much space to sit except for some benches outside with a stunning view of the ocean. I went early morning around 8am on a weekday. It's a great grab and go location for locals or someone stopping by the area. Baristas were very friendly and chatted with everyone which created a welcoming atmosphere. read more

Management NEEDS to step up to do their job or get replaced. I ordered two matcha lattes and a latte on Saturday 6/21 at around 12:30PM for pick up and arrived at 1:00PM for my order. I let the employee know that Im there for pick up and she just pointed to the latte. I asked her where are the matchas and she said they're out of matcha. I would have appreciated a call or email to let me know ahead of time so I dont drive just for a latte. This reflects poorly on management because it is not the first time this happens. If the manager was aware of the lack of inventory - the website should have been updated. If the manager does not have access to the site, I hope they step up their training to include what to do in these situations- a simple text/call/email. read more

I love the OG Torrance location, I love the Gundo location, and I LOVEEE the El Porto location!!! Such a smart and creative move to expand to a beach community like El Porto, just down the block you can go to The Strand and enjoy your day while sipping on coffee from Offset. The two ladies working on Monday morning were super friendly and welcoming. Their Maple cinnamon iced latte from their Fall Menu is amazing, definitely will come back for the Offset and beach vibes. DELICIOUS!!! A colleague and I happened to stumble upon this find at 7am. Started off with a latte and hot chocolate. Then the pastry lady walked in carrying trays of deliciousness. Couldn't help but order a chocolate twist and scone, which were divine. But I was advised by the barista to actually get the everything bagel, which honestly took the prize. It had seasoning on both sides of the bagel, super soft, and super fresh! There is no inside seating, and only a couple of stools outside, but I was so tempted to sit outside with an ocean view and try some of the dog treats they leave out because the human ones were so good! read more

Coffee is average. Got both the smoked salmon and veggie bagels. If you've had bagels in NY, this doesn't even come close - barista mentioned the baker is from BK, so I had high hopes! But I went in today at 5:10pm on a Sunday and Mauricio had a great personality + customer service + latte skills. He did not rush anything or anyone, just made a beautiful looking and great tasting drink! Ordered a hot nico, no half and half, substitute almond milk.

Regardless, I still keep going and will continue to because I love this city and the views are incredible! I've been to other Caffe Luxxe locations and this one has the same aesthetic, which I love. Staff are very friendly. There was a line but it went by fast. Parking on the weekend is hard to find, at least in my experience. During the week, it's much easier to find parking, especially if you go in the morning.

One of the employees in particular has been consistently unpleasant, making the experience feel unwelcoming the moment you walk in. Simple questions or requests are met with attitude instead of courtesy. From the long wait times to the employee taking a nap on the sofa, there has generally been a decline in the customer service in this establishment. On top of that, the quality of the drinks has declined. The espresso is clearly burnt and orders have been inconsistent, poorly made, and definitely not worth the price anymore. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but the combination of rude service and declining drink quality makes it hard to justify coming back. I hope management addresses these issues soon.

The manager said they ran out of bananas so the order was refunded. I told them I did not receive any refund/cancel notifications, and they respond with "yea we don't do that but we should put a system in place...". Seriously, WTF. This is a coffee shop in an office building. People don't have time to wait around for over 30 minutes for a drink and over an hour for their food. And how do you run out of bananas on a Monday at noon?!! This was not the first time you see the staff just sitting around. Get your shit together and don't waste our time.
