I'm always on the hunt for a quality coffee spot near work, so I found Meravalley Coffee Roasters on a quick Gmaps search after lunch on a Wednesday. Meravalley was close by, and based on the small number of reviews, it looks relatively new or very lowkey. I brought my coworker, who was impressed by their vintage grinders, roasters, and other coffee making equipment. I liked that the menu had pictures, so I quickly settled on trying the caramel cream latte and asked for oatmilk. The drink was pretty large, so the ~$8 price wasn't too bad. What I really liked was the rich coffee flavor, the subtle caramel flavor, and, despite the mountain of whipped cream, there wasn't too much sweetness in the drink. It was quite good. I'll need to try it again to see consistency and variety for a fair rating. Overall would like to see what others think. read more

We ordered the steak bagel and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The meat was undercooked, looked grayish, and the whole bagel was soggy. There was also what looked like the tough end of lettuce or cabbage placed inside, which made it even more unappetizing. We ended up returning the entire bagel. Service was also slow, even though there was only one person inside, and we waited for quite a while. Overall, this was not a good experience. I hope they take the feedback seriously because the quality and service could definitely be improved. read more

As delightful as the woman was who worked the shop, I can't say the same for the food and beverage experience of it all. The vegan panini was made up of what looked like cabbage, cucumber, tomato, too much avocado spread, too much cheese, and too much sauce. The bread was burnt. The earl grey latte tasted like powder with no true resemblance of earl grey tea. Despite the disappointing food and beverage part of the experience, the coffee shop was well kept and clean. With the fragrant aroma of coffee filling the air, soft cafe vibes music played overhead, which gave the wait a relaxed feel. read more

I don't know who told these people that a Thai iced tea is watered down cinnamon milk, but that was probably the most disgusting drink I've ever had in my life. Literally just left it there after two sips. read more

Service is great, cute little spot close to the pier. Lots of variety and options on the menu! The coffee was great but the panini that we got was a little odd. It had a lot of sauce and got soggy quickly, and the meat wasn't that appetizing. For a coffee date it's a great spot but for a meal, may be better going somewhere else. read more

Walking at the beach, first time stopping here for coffee. This cafe is very clean and quiet, peaceful. The coffee beans are roasted fresh. So you know your coffee is fresh. The Barista is the owner and she is super nice. Greeting you a big smile and welcome. I will be back to try one the ice coffees. Best of all, it is across the street from the beach. read more

Jazzy music, more locals than tourist, simple coffees bursting with flavor! The mocha is earthy the caramel latte has a nutty undertone. The only egg bagel the have on the menu is salmon and egg but we asked for the chicken bagel with egg. The egg was perfectly fluffy the sauce on the chicken was a bit tangy like teriyaki. I wish I could give this location more than 1 star because I love local coffee shops. The chicken sandwich is absolutely terrible. The panini comes out soaking wet. It's a warm panini, but the chicken is cold and covered in curry. Then, the sandwich is full of wilted, warm lettuce, kraft American singles, and some sort of soppy sauce. It was the most bizarre panini I've ever had. I had to throw the entire $16 panini away, and the lady working the front saw it and didn't ask if anything was wrong. At the time, I was on a playdate with my toddler and didn't get a chance to talk to her about the food. But I will never stop by for food again. What an expensive disappointment. read more

As an Australian I am constantly on a hunt for a good flatwhite and rarely come across a cafe that makes authentic Aussie flatwhite so needless to say I was very excited about this place. And No it is not just a latte in a mug like most places served here in the US. Exactly what I wanted, strong and rich espresso shots, hot, perfect amount of foam, served in a mug. It took me a good minute to realize that the owner is actually Aussie, from Sydney. The worker was super friendly and attentive, she gave us couple of madeleines to go with our coffee. The cafe itself is very clean and cute as well. Definitely will return for more authentic Aussie flat whites. read more

I'm rating this place 3 stars based on the service, price and cleanliness of the place. I ordered two thai teas; One for myself and the other for my fiancé. The woman behind the counter advocated for their Thai Tea and so my fiancé ordered the Thai Tea instead of her original choice of a cappuccino. The thai teas tasted nothing like a Thai tea. The thai tea was mainly milk. It wasn't sweet at all. I decided to add some of my home cold brew into it and it still didn't mask the amount of milk that was poured into these drinks. I'll give them another try at a later time and order coffee. Maybe Thai Teas aren't their thing? I think, for the price, the friendly service, and for the cleanliness, I hope you give them a shot and have a better drink than we did. Cheers! read more

Best new coffee shop in Redondo! I love that they roast their own coffee, which tastes smooth and so fresh. I've stopped by several times since they opened to get my favorite - an oatmilk latte - it's always been made just the way I like it. Finally a real coffee roaster that happens to make the best coffee drinks in the area. The inside is immaculate, well lit, welcoming and airy that will make you want to sit and enjoy your drink listening to the soft music playing. I've seen people sitting for a long time relaxing and listening to soothing music enjoying the great drinks or snacks. The food choices look good and I had a freshly made panini. Just know it takes a little time to prepare it as it's not premade. The owner/barista is quite talented and very kind making some latte art on your coffee and wanting you to enjoy your order. The passion fruit & jasmine tea is phenomenal and contains pieces of jasmine and passion fruit!!! By the way, the beans are top notch and freshly roasted not like the usual places who roasted them months before.
