    flat white and chagaccino

Came on a Saturday around 10:20 AM and there was already a good line out the door. Waited about 15 minutes in line and another 10 minutes for the drinks to come out. All I can say is wow. Genuinely the most beautiful latte art I've seen in my life!!! You can tell how well they steam their milk because the consistency was perfect. The foam was stable, and the art didn't immediately dissolve or lose its shape when I picked up the cup. The barista's level of precision and control was seriously impressive , my goodnesssss The hot espresso by itself was yum too. The espresso had floral notes with hints of citrus and fruit coming through, and it's a really enjoyable cup even by itself. I also ordered the chaggachino. It was on the sweeter side for me (I don't like my drinks too sweet), but still very delicious. Creamy, rich, and comforting without completely overpowering the coffee flavors underneath. We also got the ham and cheese croissant, which was nicely warm, buttery and crisp on the outside and good proportion of cheese and ham. I visit a lot of coffee shops, so it does take quite a bit to impress me, but this place absolutely wowed me.... Between the coffee quality and the latte art, I really loved it here!! I can see why there's always a line for Nook.

    Lavender Matcha & Hibiscus Lemonade

Located at The Enclave, Nook Coffee Bar always seems to have a line, so I finally decided to see what all the hype was about. On a recent Sunday, the wait really wasn't bad at all. My friend and I stood in line for about 15 minutes, and once we ordered, our drinks were ready in less than five minutes. I chose the lavender matcha, and I was impressed by how well the two flavors balanced each other. Neither overpowered the other, making for a smooth and enjoyable drink. My friend ordered the hibiscus lemonade and found it light and refreshing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One of the best parts of visiting is being able to enjoy your drinks in the spacious outdoor seating area around The Enclave.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Prices were reasonable at around $6-$7 per drink, and the cashier was friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can see why this spot is so popular.

Great coffee! The service is good and great baristas. The pastries are kind of unique. The donuts are small and are definitely unusual. This was my first time dropping in after lunch across the way. I've been to this area few times. The Mediterranean and Vietnamese places I've frequent often. Chicken shawarma and pho fusion is what I usually order. Anyway check this place out for great coffee and service. Enjoy!

Iced matcha and chai latte (light on chai)

When you walk into a coffee shop and see Jetty beans and Sante matcha, you already know it's going to be good. I love Jetty's coffee in South Central, so this was a great sign--The Nook and Jetty definitely feel like they're cut from the same cloth. The menu is similar but a bit more expansive. I got a matcha for my sister and a chai latte for myself with macadamia milk, light on the chai. The matcha was a beautiful, vibrant green. My chai was a bit milkier than I expected--but that's on me since I asked for it that way. Still figuring out how to order a chai that works for my sensitive stomach, so it was just okay for me. The line looked long but moved quickly, and our drinks came out pretty fast too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the outdoor courtyard setup--such a nice spot to sit and hang out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, great vibe and I'd come back to try other drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This coffee bar is a must try! For my first visit, I ordered the Mexican chai latte and it was delicious! The chai spice mixed in nicely with the Mexican cinnamon chocolate! It did not feel too sweet. The line was long, but it moves quickly and the employees are all very polite. I can't wait to try more!

    Honey oat latte
    Maria D.

Ordered a honey oat latte. Espresso was 4/5. Not sure if it was the oat milk the used or the espresso itself, but something could have been a little different. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The indoors is very spacious, which is great, because the line can get pretty long.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And they also have an interesting seating area towards the corner with some outlets.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Probably not the best place to get work done in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is lots of outdoor seating that is shared with the neighboring businesses, and a parking lot as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Every time I have been to The Enclave, this coffee bar has always been busy, with long lines out the door. Today it so happens there were no long lines so I decided to finally give them a try. Nook Coffee Bar not only services both hot and cold coffee, but also tea and pastries. Today I tried their iced Mocha Latte with oat milk and it was fantastic! Very balanced flavor with lots of chocolate so that each sip is flavorful. The service is well organized and friendly. I like this better than their chain store competitors. This is definitely a must try boutique coffee bar.

This has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots--and judging by the long lines, I'm definitely not the only one They never miss. I recently tried the mushroom pastry and wow... so tasty. Seriously, every bite is a treat. It's one of those places I genuinely look forward to coming back to again and again

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Holy moly! Located in the beautiful enclaves, this coffee stop made me so happy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend the island match my mouth is watering thinking of it. I forgot what my husband ordered but it was also fantastic. Parked and ran in to order, line wasn't bad.

So my friend has been NAGGING me for the past FIVE years to try this spot if I ever got the chance to - so when I happened to be driving through Torrance I just knew I had to try this spot or I'd never hear the end of it from my friend. And lo and behold, this spot really nailed their drinks. The island matcha and honey oat latte were not too sweet but pleasant overall. I just couldn't stop slurping up the drinks. Man I wish I lived there... well anyhow, we got our drinks fairly quick. The inside was so pretty and minimalistic and everything just looked like a work of wooden art. There was a line at the door after we got our drinks so we got lucky with timing. The outside seats are so cute too. This is definitely a MUST-try spot if you love coffee!

Yep...it's the Coffee Queen! Hitting up another coffee bar in Southern Cali! Don't be alarmed by the long line...I promise it moves fast and it's worth the wait! My "Spanish" latte was very good. Smooth, extra hot and flavorful. My danish on the other hand...not so good...It had raisins, yuck...there was no mention of them in the bakery case...This girl does not like raisins in her danishes...just sayin...(Note to self...don't order the ricotta danish ever again) *Plenty of free parking *Plenty of tables to sit at in the general area ~ and that's all I have to say about that ~

    Spanish Latte and Strawberry Lemonade

I'm not big on coffee, I asked for a recommendation and was told to try the Spanish Latte. I ordered it with almond milk and it is really good!

    Iced Spanish latte
    Ashley V.

Used to always love coming by Nook when I worked close by! My go to is the iced Spanish latte, their version is light as compared to other coffee shops, yet there's something about the lightness that makes it smooth and enjoyable. Service is your standard hi when you get to the register but not anything special. I do like that although they have lines and are busy that the order still comes out quite fast. So props to that! Ambiance is great because it's nestled in a plaza with a lot of other restaurants and a nice, cozy outdoor spot with lots of seating. Saw a lot of people just hanging out and talking or studying. Definitely recommend coming out to try either for a quick coffee fix or to grab a coffee, matcha, or tea over some good conversation with friends or family.

I especially love their matcha selection they offer so many unique flavors to choose from. On my most recent visit, they were unfortunately out of the banana cream matcha even though it was still listed on the menu . My husband had been really looking forward to trying it, so that was a bit of a letdown. However, he ended up getting the mango matcha instead, and it was just as delicious, so it all worked out. The space itself is open and inviting, making it a great spot to hang out with friends. They also offer food, which I haven't tried yet, but I've heard great things especially about their waffle dessert that everyone seems to love. Definitely planning to try that next time! I also ended up going about 10 minutes before closing, which I normally try to avoid, but I didn't realize they closed at 9 PM. Ordering was super easy thanks to the self-service kiosk, and my drink was ready in less than two minutes. I ordered the crème brûlée brown sugar boba latte, and the crème brûlée topping was thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The brown sugar milk latte itself was definitely on the sweeter side. I think I would've preferred it if it had been made with milk tea instead of just milk, since the tea would've helped balance out the richness and sweetness from both the brown sugar and the crème brûlée. Even so, it was still a tasty drink. The inside of the shop is really cute and very clean. I noticed a few people working on their laptops while I was there, and it seemed like a nice place to hang out for a while. They also don't blast music in the background, so it's easy to have a conversation or get some work done. I'd definitely come back to try some of their other drinks because several of them looked really good.

Parking was easy, and when we walked in, there was only one occupied table. Three employees were chatting in the back. We were greeted, but it felt more like, "What would you like?" than "Welcome in." No smile, no conversation, no thank you--just a transaction. After taking our order, the employee returned to chatting with coworkers. When our order was ready, our name was called, the halo-halo was placed on the counter, and that was the end of the interaction. As for the halo-halo itself, my partner rated it a 2/10. It was overwhelmingly sweet and overpriced for what we received. We were hoping for layers of flavor and nostalgia but got a sugar rush that could probably power a small city. As a business owner myself, I understand that customer service is one of the biggest drivers of customer retention. Great products can bring people in once, but great service brings them back. Unfortunately, this visit missed the mark on both. The good news? These issues are fixable. A little more warmth, engagement, and hospitality would go a long way. Until then, we'll continue our search for our next favorite halo-halo spot.

This place is a total gem, and if you haven't been yet, you are seriously missing out! Let me tell you about the star of my visit, the Matcha Cream Filled Croissant. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing is on another level. The croissant itself is buttery, perfectly golden, and incredibly flaky -- with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. But the matcha cream filling? Silky smooth, lusciously rich, with a beautiful earthy matcha flavor that isn't overpowering or too sweet. It's the kind of bite that makes you stop mid-chew just to appreciate how good it is. I honestly could eat three of these in a sitting. The Korean-American fusion approach to their baked goods is inspired and completely unique, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in the South Bay or in Gardena. Seriously Impressive, I paired my croissant with their Iced Matcha Latte, made with premium grade matcha sourced from Jeju Island, and WOW, this drink is stunning. It's vibrant, beautifully layered, and tastes as amazing as it looks. The matcha is bold and authentic without being bitter, perfectly balanced with creamy, cold milk. Not too sweet, not too earthy -- just absolutely perfect. It's easily one of the best iced matcha drinks I've had in a while. You can customize your milk choice too, which is a great thoughtful touch. This place is warm & welcoming: The staff here is attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and made to feel at home. The baristas are well-trained and knowledgeable, they took their time explaining the menu and made sure my order was exactly right. No rushing, no attitude, just genuine hospitality that keeps you coming back. Decor is absolutely Charming. The interior of Smoking Tiger is adorable and so well thought out. It's modern, clean, and stylish with a cozy Korean café aesthetic that feels fresh without trying too hard. The lighting is warm and inviting, the seating is comfortable, and the whole vibe just makes you want to stay for hours. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available, which is a great bonus. Whether you're catching up with a friend, working on your laptop, or just treating yourself to something special, this place sets the perfect mood. One thing that really stood out to me was how immaculately clean this café is. The tables, counters, floors, and display cases were all sparkling, it's clear that the team takes real pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for every guest. A clean café is a happy café, and this one passes with flying colors. Bottom Line, Smoking Tiger Coffee & Bread is the real deal. Creative, high-quality food, exceptional drinks, warm service, gorgeous decor, and a spotless space, this place checks every single box. The Matcha Cream Filled Croissant and Iced Matcha Latte alone are worth the trip. Do yourself a favor and go try yourself. Miguel C.

The service wasn't great and only one drink was good or correct. I'm still not 100% sure one of…read morethem was the correct drink. I ordered 2 drinks through the app yesterday, the Honey Bori Latte (seasonal) and the Banana Milk Latte. The Banana Milk Latte was delicious once everything was mixed well, but the Honey Bori Latte was just bitter and then less bitter when mixed. It was already half melted, there was no salted honey cold foam or Jolly Pong which is supposed to be part of the drink. I got the order to go, so I didn't notice that my drink was wrong until I got home, so I couldn't even get it corrected. I didn't realize the drink was wrong at first. I thought it was just a flavor I didn't like even though I noted that I couldn't taste Barley at all. Then half way throught it, I decided to look at the description on the app to remember what it was supposed to taste like because it tasted like an ordinary flavorless latte. The description said there's barley milk, salted honey cold foam and Jolly Pong. That's when it hit me that I either got the wrong drink or someone didn't make it right because there was no flavor of salted honey and definitely no Jolly Pong in my drink. It didn't even look like I had cold foam topping my drink, but maybe that's because it was melting already. Overall, I was very upset and disappointed with my drink, but was happy my mom's drink was fine. Now this is only a part of why I was dissapointed with yesterday's experience. The other reason was the app and workers. Maybe the workers aren't used to working with the Smoking Tiger app yet? Or maybe the app still needs work, but the drinks I ordered through the app took forever to be marked ready even though my drinks had been ready for some time which was obvious because my Honey Bori Latte was already half mixed because the layers of ingredients were melting into each other. I arrived at the cafe about 5 minutes after ordering, but the app's estimated wait time was another 10 minutes which wasn't a problem for me, especially since I saw a person waiting for his order and some people inside the cafe, although it wasn't full like usual. I just assumed some people ordered before me, so I just have to wait a bit, which again was fine with me especially since I was waiting for my mom to arrive. At some point after the one person waiting for their drink left, I realized the 2 girls at the counter were just talking and not making any drinks. I checked the app and it still said my order was being prepared. After 2 more people ordered their drinks and received them immediately, I went up to the counter, by this point it had been the app's estimated 10 minute wait. I told the girl with glasses my name and showed her the order on my phone. Then she walked toward the fridge and got my drinks, put them in a drink carrier, passed them to me and then turned around while looking at the receipt paper that was with the drinks. That was it. She didn't tell me which drink was which and they were not labeled, so my mom and I just had taste them to figure out which was which. At most places, they let you know which drink is which, so I was just confused with the service I received, especially when the place wasn't busy. And to top it all off, my order was marked completed 10 minutes after I received my order which again just left me in confusion. I usually love this place and was saddened when they got rid of their Choco Mugwort drink, but I'm always looking forward to their seasonal drinks and baked goods. This time though, I don't think I was even able to taste one of their new seasonal drinks because it tasted like a regular latte with milk. I want to try their other current seasonal drinks, but I'm also worried about what I will receive in the future and I'm not ready for another disappointing coffee any time soon.
