Came here to grab a morning coffee while my son was in a swim meet at a nearby pool. I had the dirty horchata, and it tasted pretty good. Service was fast and friendly enough. She did tell me that it comes with either whole milk or oat milk. I elected for oatmilk, but then surprisingly, there is actually a $.50 surcharge for this. It would have been nice if that was disclosed on the initial comment that she made. In addition, the store did have a bit of a bathroom smell. I'm not sure if the bathroom needed to be cleaned or maybe an air freshener needed to be replaced. Either way, the scent did creep out of the bathroom into the rest of the small place. The coffee was very good, so it's still a solid 4 stars. Next time, I would probably elect the whole milk, and I am going to assume the bathroom was a one off incident. Prices are not cheap ($7 for a coffee), but I get it...it's California..... read more

Sometimes you don't know what you have until it's gone. Thankfully, Offset is still here. I recently started buying my home beans from Offset and wow--what a difference! It's a delight to drink black so you can taste all the delightful this-es and that-as. I didn't realize how delightful until today--when I ran out. I woke up super early and thought I'd just grab some blonde roast from one of the chains on my way to work, and it wouldn't be as good, but would be ok. No. It. Wasn't. It tasted like ash, like so so bad. I tried another two coffee houses, one of them a local spot in Newport Beach. That was drinkable, but it was no Offset. I am beyond thankful for Offset coffee for roasting the most delicious beans available. On top of that, their baristas are always quite friendly and accommodating. While there isn't much room inside, there's enough for you to enjoy your coffee and avocado toast before setting off for your day. I thought about writing them a nice note to say how much I appreciate their expertise but then figured maybe this would be more helpful. Go now, buy some beans, romanticize your mornings. This is truly a coffee bean of quality you can build a morning ritual around. Thank goodness they're right up the road. read more

This particular Offset Coffee Roasters is the smaller one as opposed to the others. Parking is a toss up, so go when you think it's not going to be as busy, otherwise you're stuck having to park at the huge strip mall across the huge street in between it. You will end up playing a real life version of Frogger, so yeah.... It's small and cozy in here. It's as if it can be a damn coffee spot for The Shire, which would then cater to Hobbits and little people wrestlers. I remember going here when it wasn't as popular, but now it's getting more fame and a bigger spot nearby as well. Much love and continued success to them! Their coffee isn't bad. I had their Dirty Horchata Latte with a shot of espresso. You can taste the perfect dark (not the damn Nintendo 64 game!) deliciousness of the espresso and its hipster-like flavor of potency, depending on who makes your drink. Customer service and restrooms were top tier quality! I see that they have your standard avocado toast and other goodies to try, but I honestly haven't tried those yet. Might have to come back to try that and their flat white when I do indeed come back. They have a nice nerdy shop that sells cool random Sanrio and Anime stuff next to this place too; so that kind of gives you motivation to come back here as well! read more

People who work here literally feel like they hate their jobs, I come here every week and treat you so indifferent despite that I tip every single time, the coffee is always a hit or miss, depends on who makes it which sucks because it isn't cheap at all so usually goes all in the trash. And for whatever reason this is an unacceptable avocado toast, the color of it it's just wrong and tastes moldy. They need to do better like at the other locations. Unfortunately won't be coming back soon I rather give business to Cafe Dolce or any new in the area. I definitely do not recommend. read more

Sadly, this was probably my last visit to this location. I stopped in on my way to work to grab coffee and breakfast. I noticed on the menu they no longer had the bfast biscuits which is what I came for, and that's probably my bad if it's been gone for a while. No big deal, I ordered the avocado toast instead, but the barista shared that they were out of toast Apparently they didn't get their bread delivery. So no breakfast for me. I got my usual coffee, nitro vanilla cold brew, and for whatever reason it tasted watery and kinda bland. There's no ice so it really shouldn't be that way. First time here after seeing so many people post the recognizable Off Set stickered cups. Pulling up, parking was a bit tight. Going in the coffee shop is fairly small. There's 2 tables and a bar table inside and 3 tables outside. The workers were very helpful and guided us to the drinks we ordered. They keep the place nice and clean. Drinks were made quickly and they were delicious. I enjoyed the cinnamon-y Dirty Horchata. It was on the sweet side, so if you are looking for something stronger and less sweet this might not be it. We also got the Strawberry Matcha and that too was on the sweet side, but very tasty. The cold foam on top makes the drink. They definitely have plenty options of other coffee, coffee on draft, and teas. Aside from drinks they have a few different toast options and biscuits to have for a bite. The espresso was ok~ more on the fruity side which isn't my favorite BUT it was well made and not burnt which I appreciate! Horchata latte was too sweet for me but perfectly "not too sweet" for my girlfriend (she has a sweet tooth, me not so much). But overall the flavor was great for horchata latte it really was a treat! I gave them another shot because, you know, life happens, and I needed coffee in a rush. Tried their Dirty Horchata, and it just wasn't for me. I realized I'm not a cinnamon-in-my-coffee kind of person, so that was probably on me. It tasted more like watered down horchata with a bitter twist. The parking situation is kind of a pain. It's a tiny lot on a busy street, and it's not exactly the easiest spot to get in and out of, especially if you're in a hurry. So that's another little heads-up. I really wanted to like the drinks here, but I think I got bad luck on the two drinks I got. Not on the fault of the barista at all - just flavor preference. I got the coconut seasonal oat milk latte and the horchata. The coconut was just not a favorite but if you love coconut, you would dig it. The horchata was suuuupppeer sweet. I really wanted to try the matcha pistachio drink, but apparently that was a seasonal drink in January. My daughter got a banana chocolate chip muffin which tasted great. The two ladies there helping us out were super friendly! Parking was not the greatest. Not a ton of spots and it's super tight spaces right off of a busy street. I was in the area and wanted an iced vanilla latte and I was surprised at how busy it was... usually the other times I had gone... there was maybe one other customer or I was the only one there. I did go on a Saturday morning (maybe that's the reason) but the place was packed. I will say that my drink was very satisfying; delicious and one of the best lattes I've had recently. The service was great. There were more employees working today than when I went before. The cashier was friendly and my drink was incredibly tasty. Inside is a bit small but clean. We randomly found this place in Torrance. It is a tiny place in a tiny plaza. There is no room for groups. Maybe 10 people, at most, can stand in there. The staff were very nice and educated in their stuff. We had the matcha latte and a cappuccino. Both were delicious. Hopefully they come up with some more creative. The Offset in Torrance is fantastic! i come at least 1-2 times a week and the staff all are always friendly! The Dirty Horchata is great if you have a sweet tooth or whatever they make the horchata in house everyday! I love a good Cortado on a cool day and an iced americano on a hot one. They have the best coffee in all of old town Torrance hands down! Also don't sleep on their Avocado toast it's solid and has great flavor. read more

I'm no coffee expert but I love a coffee shop. I just do. The ambiance, the smells, the flavors, the overall vibe of a coffee shop is my ideal environment to be in on the daily if I could. This place checks off those boxes for me. It's small but has a lovely display and some seating inside and outside. The baristas at the counter were cool and real nice. I ordered and got my latte so quickly, wasn't expecting that but I did come in on a random weekday after the morning rush. I had to come in and try the famous horchata latte I've been hearing about. It tasted like I expected, delicious. However, it was a little too sweet for me so maybe I need to adjust the level of sugar next time. I also noticed that I needed to keep stirring the latte so it wouldn't taste so grainy, probably from the cinnamon and sugar bits so that was a little con for me. Parking isn't that easy, the lot is small so be mindful of that especially since it's on a busy street. Would love to come back and try something else! read more

Offset was the perfect setting to work from while catching up with a friend. I was warmly greeted when I entered and as a first-timer, was given recommendations. Decent. Meets expectations and a solid experience although I wouldn't rush back here again. Uses the La Marzocco machine. COFFEE: The seasonal Macadamia white mocha latte $7.00 (50% sweetness) had an amazing subtle macadamia balanced flavor that also complimented the coffee. I wish the texture was a bit more creamy with layers to the latte however I did try the coffee in a Togo cup so that may have interfered with the layers. The texture it self was watered down but the flavor was not watered down. Milk substitutes were 0.75 cents. Variety was a bit lacking as the latte volume was one size and just offered vanilla, hazelnut, lavender and a seasonal which was white macadamia at the time. AMBIANCE: Very small coffee shop with rigid non plush seating. Does the job but not as "loungey" as I'd like. Plentiful parking but the view is also a black asphalt parking lot so not the most pleasing but definitely convenient WiFi password is attached ! read more

I've been coming to this location for the past three months, and the service I've received from the staff has always been phenomenal. In addition, this store has the best Nitro Cold Brew on tap (I like mine slightly more acidic) compared to other Offset locations in the surrounding area. Normally, I don't write reviews, but I'm writing this one to give a huge shoutout to Christine! When I came to this location last month for my birthday, I was told they were all out of Nitro Cold Brew. I was initially bummed out, especially since it was my big day. Christine recommended other drinks similar to what I was looking for, but I passed and explained why the Nitro Cold Brew specifically meant so much to me that day. Upon hearing it was my birthday, Christine went out of her way to work some sort of magic and poured me the greatest Nitro Cold Brew cup of all time. I don't know what she did or how she did it, but she literally saved my day. I'd also like to give a special shoutout to Justin. He's there almost every time I stop by, and his service and speed are always top-notch! Actually, shoutout to everyone at this location. I don't know all of their names, but my wife and I have never received a bad cup of coffee here, nor have we ever received service that was anything less than excellent (it's always above par!). On top of that, the store itself is always spotless and welcoming. The cleanliness, cozy vibe, and overall ambiance make it a place I genuinely enjoy spending time in, it's just as much about the atmosphere as it is about the coffee. read more

Small coffee shop with about 4 tables that fit 2 to a table. Very clean and simple decor. Music was bomb often asked Siri to name the tunes. 4. The customer service was very pleasant. 5. We had a much better experience this time around. Same time of day and actually same day of the week, but the staff was super friendly and helpful. We ordered 3 coffee drinks (Cortado, regular latter w/ almond milk, and a dirty horchata) and a waffle pastry. I really enjoyed my cortado. You could taste the espresso coming through beautifully. My wife loved her dirty horchata. It tasted like horchata without being overly sweet and a strong coffee flavor was coming through. They heated up the waffle for me and it was a great combo with our drinks. Light and fluffy with a hint of sugar crunch from time to time. I still think their lattes are poured a bit too heavy on the milk, but that is only my opinion. I like to taste the espresso coming through and not everyone does. For me, without an add shot the lattes are not balanced. Come on in and try one of their many coffee creations! read more
