Inconsistent. The coffee tastes different and sour every time. The staff are too busy talking to work. I wish it was better as it's really conveniently located for me. EDIT I don't know what is going on at this place but the drama is off the charts. Getting messages from one of them accusing me of some weird shit on behalf of Maddie.

mocha, avocado toast, blueberry muffin

A hidden gem right near Del Amo mall. I ordered a café mocha, it was perfectly made and delicious. For food I had the avocado toast, and it was so fresh with a generous portion. Has a lemony kick (the use chili oil), a perfect touch. The place is very clean, warm, and inviting, and the staff is incredibly kind. Can't wait to come back!

First time there, coffee wasn't the best but the blueberry muffin was good. Customer service was okay. Nice place to study.

Copa Vida is located inside of an office building. There is free parking in the structure outside. As soon as you walk into the building, Copa Vida is on the left hand side! The interior of Copa Vida is really cute, & it looks like a great place to study or read. However, I just wasn't impressed with their drinks at all. I ordered an iced honey latte with oat milk & almost couldn't even drink it. I usually get oat milk at other coffee shops, but they must use a different brand here because it was very grainy & almost tasted like rice. The coffee was smooth, but the oat milk flavor was just very off putting. It also isn't a sweet drink, so keep that in mind if that's what you're looking for. My sister ordered the peppermint mocha, a seasonal drink. I thought the portion was very small for the price. It looks even smaller than a tall at starbucks. The peppermint was better than my drink, but it was bitter. If I were to come back, I'd stick to regular milk & avoid oat milk.

This is a really low-key cafe located in a large commercial office building so it's tucked away and not easy to find from the main streets. It's adjacent to a large parking structure. Their menu hosts some typical breakfast sandwiches, burritos and avocado toast. They serve a good assortment of coffees and teas. Overall, decent food and drinks. There was only one barista working while I was here, but she was friendly and fast. The inside is simple and clean with lots of seating. They have good chill music. It's a perfect place to get some work done or a good site for an out-of-office meeting. There's also a nice little courtyard right outside with patio tables/chairs, umbrellas, and some lounge chairs.

Very excited to see Copa Vida in Torrance! No more driving to Pasadena. :-) Coffee drinks are very solid and strong. My go-to are simple.. expresso with oatmilk, or cappuccino. Located inside of the Torrance business building next to Denny's/ across from Norsstroms. There is plenty of garage parking.

The good: There's plenty of parking and plen-tea of tea options! I liked the seasonal options like the yuzu matcha. They had plenty of tea options and tea latte options. I tried the brûlée mint tea and liked the frothy foam. I like the modern interior and trendy outdoor communal space. There are tables and umbrellas. The outside has a mural, bamboo plants, lounge chairs and flowers. I came here to treat myself to a peaceful morning on this rainy June day. They sell cute merchandise that includes travel mugs, ceramic cups, and kettles. The service was great. The worker brought my almond croissant and tea to my table. The bad: The brûlée mint tea latte tasted good but tasted like a London fog with black tea and didn't have mint flavor. The almond croissant was good but the almond paste inside was lacking. Instead, it was oozing with lots of butter (not a bad thing- but was definitely looking for that almond paste!). The interesting: They're located on the first floor of a business building.

Lovely place and ambiance! The outdoor area was very pleasant to work in. I just wish they would extend the wifi somehow because I kept getting disconnected outside. Service was nice and friendly. I got the iced vanilla latte which was good and not bad for the price. Overall, a great low-key place that's not too loud and crowded, great to get work done!

I'm really happy the shop opened back up after the pandemic. Great selection of single origin pour overs and espresso drinks as well as milk alternatives. I also picked up a bag of espresso beans to give a try. They have a large selection of breakfast items, however, today they had limited ingredients. That was knowledgeable about their beans. Parking structure is always full, just park in the adjacent lot and walk over. Bottom Line: I'll be sure to come back more often on my days off!

I really wanted to love this place but sadly, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I am a shopaholic and it seems like I'm always at Del Amo, so this would have been a great place to take a break and enjoy an iced latte and/ or a snack. It also seems like a fabulous place to study or get some work done. The indoor and outdoor space are both great. I especially think the outdoor space is wonderful, especially when you want to have a nice conversation and enjoy the beautiful weather. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was just eh; very oat milk forward. I also got a vegan chocolate chip cookie because I didn't eat anything this morning and it looked ef-ing amazing. I thought it was going to taste like Tate's cookies (one of my favs)... the cookie was again, just eh. It was my first time here and this is based on first impressions on what I ordered.

The coffees pretty bad. I don't think they've calibrated their espresso machines since they opened.

A bit tricky to find the entrance because of how maps navigate you to the parking lot but the coffee was good. Would come back again.

There's no better place in the South Bay to get a HOME RUN Coffee or Matcha experience, complete with a super chill atmosphere and pastries that are out of this world. The owner is the coolest guy on the planet, and he's there all the time, making every single one of his customers feel like family. The thing that keeps me and my wife coming back (besides the unbeatable drink taste and quality) is the warm authentic service. This is key. Every other coffee spot is staffed with people who do not care, put zero effort into the experience, and look like they hate their jobs. But at Chrome? Everybody is stoked to help you have a great experience, whether you're chilling there doing work on your laptop, or stopping by to grab a drink to go. It's love all around, which speaks volumes about the business. Recommended drinks for first timers: Chrome Matcha or the Banana Cream Latte. Unbeatable taste, you won't find anything like it anywhere else in the South Bay. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won't find any other place like it.

A lot of places either make flavored drinks way too sweet or you can barely taste the flavor, but this one was balanced perfectly. Super smooth and easy to drink. Definitely one of the better coffee spots I've tried in the area. Would absolutely come back and try more off the menu. Highly recommend this place if you're into specialty coffee or just want a really solid latte.

Today was mother's day and the Enclave was busy with a lot of people. They were busy too but the time I came, the line was not to the outside window as usual and stayed indoors so it was a steady type of busy. I ordered my island matcha and sat to wait with my dog, until I just noticed the people behind me just getting their drinks first, then another, then another.. A family came in and got greeted, that was cute, probably regulars, their orders were taken and promptly made. Nice. But then the next ones also were getting made--huh? Where's mine? I thought they might have had some online orders? I was still sitting patiently in front of the pick up counter because I didn't want to bother the obviously busy lady that's super locked in. I worked in food before too, so sometimes I get that some tickets go in front of others and the steady locked in flow of the line was really cool to observe but this was a little bit too weird since--oh another one got his drink right after ordering. My husband finally regrouped with me inside because we also had ordered from the Fish grill, the order was done from fish grill, but I was still there wondering what happened to my drink from Nook--maybe syrups needed to be refilled? Maybe steeping tea?? Idk but at this point I was getting sad since I just saw another walk away with their drinks after just ordering. I sigh, my husband asks me what's wrong. I show him my phone showing the receipt of when I ordered and he noticed it's been a while and he also saw another walk away who just ordered with a drink in hand already. So he goes up to ask them if the island matcha came out. A guy from the line sees the order number, goes to their ticket tablet and makes my matcha drink in less than 5 seconds (I mean it, they're super quick). My husband beckons me to grab my matcha and I come up silently to grab it and leave with another sigh. Drink tastes great. Though the just making the drink quickly and not acknowledging/apologizing that something went wrong was kind of sad since I already felt disregarded in the first place. As I walked away I heard that my ticket just somehow didn't show up but sigh. I wish someone checked on me if I was waiting on anything. I know it's on me too for not speaking up, but I trusted the process. I thought they didn't forget about me. I was wrong. I burnt my favorite mixing bowl today, we got turned away from my fav restaurant for lunch because they were full and we just happened to be the one behind the last queue that got accepted today. I made yucky bitter matcha today. Went here to make my day better but it added more fuel to the fire. :C Sigh. See you in a while Nook. Me sad. Happy Mother's day to all moms today though.

Now it's time to quench my thirst, and so it was that I would find myself back at Chagee Del Amo. This time I went ahead and did my first ever order using the app. I was a bit scared at first, as I assumed that I would have to physically enter the location that I was nearest, and initially I was worried because my last order using the app was in Fox hills, Culver city. CSA (OR CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL STAR) Jose (pictured) was up to the task and went out of his way to accommodate both myself and my guest by quickly putting my nerves to rest when he indicated that my phone had defaulted to the nearest Chagee location-and that he saw the order on the screen. Jose has a smooth and respectful tone-all the while while taking additional in person orders and tending to online pickups etc. Like so many other hires here, he appears to be well cut out for his role in customer service and dealing with people here. The staff here were in a rush, creating all of the drinks as quick as possible. Ordering took a while because there were a lot of beverages out, which I think was mainly because we came by an hour before closing. The cups are beautifully brandished with their artistic designs, giving a fancier feel for a drink. Expect mainly TEA here and don't think it's a coffee spot!!! You order at the front and also pick up your drinks at the front so it can get busy there. You can watch the tea-ristas make the drinks. I'm not sure if you can customize any drinks freely. I got the peach oolong lemon iced tea large and found the tea super refreshing and delicious!!! Super satisfied. My girlfriend got the oolong iced tea and enjoyed it as well. I love how the sticker labels on the cup show the calories and caffeine level ontop of your name and order. Everything was good about my experience. Staff was trying to be polite even though they seemed stress about the long line. Super glad the 15% off discount was still given to us!!!
