    Stirred Coconut Kiss

Customer service was friendly and inviting. They're set in a really great location for other options to checkout as you walk around and drink your coffee. I liked their cold brew but I wasn't entirely sold on it. My wife had the Coconut Kiss and I did not care for it one bit. It tasted too artificial in my opinion. I don't know if this is a place I would come back to and try something else.

Kaffeine Espresso Bar is located in the Riviera, a great spot if you're looking to grab a coffee for your morning stroll along the beach or a sit down to work at. They have plenty of seating inside and outside the coffee shop. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was really good. If you're getting your drink 'for here,' they serve your drink in a glass cup, which makes it feel a little more elevated. If you're taking it 'to-go', it comes in a plastic cup. The barista was nice and made our drinks well. Parking is on the street out front or around the Riviera. I would recommend this place to other people.

Came here on a Sunday It's super close to Riviera farmers market, we walked here The shop is aesthetically pleasing I loved the blue color and the cool amber colored chairs There's a couch area to sit and chat and plenty of tables inside and outdoor seating to sit outside too The staff was friendly I ended up getting the matcha latte w oat milk And my friend got a latte Both were good! I'd come back to try the other drinks the Dubai chocolate latte looked intriguing.

After attending a proposal in Palos Verdes. We were looking for a coffee spot to waste time in between events as well as get my caffiene fix. Im surprised theres not too many coffee places (still open at 5pm) in PV. We stumbled upon this place in Redondo. Lots of parking (paid) all over the place. Its a small place. Lots of windows. They have a lot of matcha options as well as coffee options. Multiple seating options. Patrons here are kind of snooty. In that if your phone is playing too loudly or your talking to loudly, they side eye you. Like if your that focused on studying your flash cards maybe you should study in the quietness of your own home or somewhere else that isnt a social area... opinions only tho.... Anyways, I got their cortado. And my wife got their chai latte. Drinks come out quickly. Mines had a beautifully made heart on top. It was good. Smooth, strong. Well balanced. They do serve some pastries here. No full on meals.

I recently moved down to the area & came here today after leaving the farmers market. I ordered the "Strawberry Matcha" & it was so good. It had the perfect amount of sweetness. I will definitely be coming back.

Matcha Latte from Kaffeine Espresso Bar in Redondo Beach, July 2025

I set out on a long bike ride this past Saturday with one goal in mind: to reward myself with a matcha latte. That was literally my motivation to get out the door. When I arrived at what I thought was my destination, I realized I was at the wrong location so I kept riding and ended up in Redondo. I passed Kaffeine Espresso Bar and despite it not being my original planned destination, it caught my eye. I ended up circling back and decided to stop in. I was the only customer inside, though there were a couple of small groups seated outside. Since I didn't bring a lock, I brought my bike in and leaned it against the table I planned to sit at. It was completely out of the way. When I went to order, I was barely acknowledged...no greeting, no smile, just a blank stare. Not sure if it was the bike, the general vibe, or if the employee just needed more Kaffeine himself, but it definitely did not give me a good first impression. I asked for a hot matcha latte and was informed they don't make it sweet although they pointed out some sweetener options, which I declined which was a major mistake. Additionally, while I was ordering, another employee tried upselling me on a donut. I said it looked delicious but he shot back, "it tastes better." Cool...unless you're giving it to me for free and taking the calories with you, hard pass! The matcha came in a glass with a nice cream topping, but the drink itself? Meh! Totally mediocre and not worth the 15 mile bike ride!! I left wishing I'd stuck with my original plan or chosen any of the countless other spots in the area. I really don't think this is somewhere I'll be rushing back to.

kaffeine espresso bar has finally opened in the riviera! love that there are multiple cafes around. came in on a sunday afternoon it was not busy the shop is really pretty and inviting, they have merch avail for purchase and offer a few different pastries! kaffeine offers a coffee menu and they have their specialty menu. i wanted to try out their gingerbread chai, but the guy said they were out of something but could add something? not sure how they are out of an ingredient on a wknd mid day? a notification on the menu would have been nice. i asked what was in their aloha coffee, which was my second option, it was coffee and pineapple and another juice, okay sure, lets do that the drink was made really fast! it sure is pretty. i grabbed a lid and a straw but their straws are like boba straws?!? it did not fit into the lid. life was just telling me to stop LOL i did not like my drink, IMO. fruit juices and coffee just do not go together. but ppl love it! parking: metered street parking & metered parking lots

Coconut kiss latter and pistachio bloom

This is by far the best quality espresso I have ever had!! Got some specialty lattes which were delicious but I think I actually prefer a classic latte here- the quality is seriously that good. Among all the competition in this area for a good cafe, Kaffeine easily takes the top spot for me. Everyone is super nice too and the seating area is really cozy.

They have great espresso and cappuccino!! Quiet indoor and outdoor seating. Very relaxing spot in the mornings and the service is very friendly and helpful! There's a few free parking spots right next to the entrance making it easy to get in and out.

Nice staff and in a great location but the drinks were really subpar. The "aloha" is a mix of juice and coffee, we couldn't even finish it. The chai was unremarkable. Can't justify these prices either given the quality. Not sure if we just ordered wrong but it didn't met my expectations

So excited to have Kaffeine finally open in the Riviera! The owners were so welcoming -- you can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience. The vibe is sleek, European chic, and honestly fits the Riviera Village perfectly. It feels like the kind of spot you'd just stumble into on a side street in Paris or Barcelona... but lucky for us, it's right here in Redondo. I ordered a dirty chai and it was on point -- bold, smooth, just the right kick of spice without being overpowering. You can tell they're serious about their coffee here. This is the kind of place you'll want to post up with a book, meet up with a friend, or just swing by to grab a little caffeine and people-watch. So happy to have another local gem in the Village -- can't wait to come back!

Currently, they have multiple locations in Los Angeles (Redondo Beach, Culver City, Westchester, Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, and Gardena) with new shops opening in South Pasadena (Summer 2026) and Little Italy in San Diego (Summer 2026). [Parking]: Metered parking on N Francisca Ave. Otherwise visitors will need to circle around for local street parking. [Atmosphere]: Spacious indoor seating (about five tables) and a bar table & 5-6 small outdoor bench tables and additional cozy outdoor seating. [Menu]: A straightforward coffee menu with only three syrup flavors: mocha, vanilla, and caramel. They also offer teas and various croissants. *** Vanilla latte (to-go & hot - $7.50): No latte art - just a simple hot vanilla latte. It was a solid latte with the right amount of sweetness. *** A nice coffee shop in the South Bay with a good first-date vibe and above-average drinks, but beware of the parking situation.

[Parking]: There's a designated parking garage, but it was surprisingly packed on Sunday morning and I barely found an available spot at 10 AM on Sunday. [Atmosphere and amenities]: This is quite a popular coffee shop, but there were only two employees working so expect to wait a bit even if you order drip coffee. Ask the cashier to print the receipt as the Wi-Fi password is listed on it. The cafe is very spacious and plays modern background music. There is also a small section of the cafe called the Tayo Na Library with books for kids to read. [Menu]: According to the sign, the best sellers are the halo-halo latte, turon latte, shaken bibingka latte, and ube matcha - so basically dessert-style lattes. They use the Aeropress to make the single origin coffee. *** Shaken Bibingka Latte (hot - $7.50): Not overly sweet with hints of coconut and a caramel aftertaste - good smooth finish. *** This is a solid coffee shop for anyone who is open to try latte flavors with a different twist.
