Absolutely love MISC COFFEE! We order for delivery at work all the time and it's always a hit. Had my husband try it (since he can be a coffee snob sometimes) and he loved it! When we first tried Misc, I ordered their banana matcha which was delicious. I recently tried their earl grey matcha and loved it, which is probably my go-to now if I'm feeling a matcha drink. You can actually taste the flavor of the earl grey and their matcha is really good. Together it's just the right amount of sweetness. If you're a coffee person, I recommend their New Orleans cold brew with cloud. The cold brew is delicious, but the cloud just gives it a little something extra. Definitely busy on the weekend, but otherwise they have a lot of seating inside and a couple tables in front as well. The cafe is clean, open, and spacious. Came here after some pho to get some matcha! Matcha was very high quality and there was a big line but it went by pretty fast so the service is good and attentive. Got the banana matcha and it was really good, my only negative of this place is the price to value ratio. The cups are small, maybe like 12oz or 10oz, so with ice your actually drink is pretty small and this is priced at a premium so definitely wouldnt come here unless there's nothing else around. This is my second time at Misc Coffee. I came here for the first time a couple of months ago. I got their Cloud Espresso and it was a 5/5. It was so creamy, smooth, and delicious. I also liked the minimalist feel and decor. I don't live in the area (I live in the OC), so I have to really want their coffee to make the trek. Yesterday was my second visit. I got their Cloud Toffee Nut. It was still good, but not as great as their Cloud Espresso. Toffee is usually too sweet for me, but it wasn't too overpowering in my drink. It's located in a pretty interesting plaza that is honestly quite dead but it's on the first floor and can be a little bit hard to find. There's plenty of parking in the garage area around it. Within the walls of the shop, they have a large group-table and a couple counter space tables along the window and along the wall. Once inside, you tend to find a lot of people grabbing their Wi-Fi, perhaps working on their schoolwork, and/or other projects. Meaning, seating is often fairly full. There is, of course, some tables outside, and this may be the the best place to enjoy your coffee. With this, you can enjoy your drinks in the open air. It's delicious. It's also offered in matcha (green tea), Earl Grey matcha, strawberry match, and toffee nut. The cappuccino is also good. Finally, I tried the "Yuzu Espresso Tonic" ... When we arrived there were a few customers ahead of us. Our order taker was bubbly and kind. We sat in some chairs until the barista called us after 6-7 minutes or so. As we were waiting much more people came in and their line was almost to their door. They were very efficient with getting orders in and drinks out. There are barstools and tables available to sit at. It was a lovely SoCal day so, outdoor seating was best to enjoy our seasonal refresher which was mango passion fruit and an iced decaf for me. Believe it or not, my first time being in Palos Verdes was to visit Misc Coffee LOL. Yeah I made it all the way there as I've heard good reviews about their coffee and matcha, so certainly high expectations preset. It's located inside a plaza(?), which seemed to be occupied only by people coming for either cafe or resto there. The good side was it meant plenty of free parking spaces. Providing air-conditioned indoor seats as well as shared outdoor patio in front, Misc coffee was pretty busy on the weekend, with bit of line for placing orders. They seemed to open online pre-order though should you not have plenty of time and wanna skip the queue. As they're said to carry Korean coffee beans and Japanese matcha, I wasn't surprised that they're popular for their signature cream top drinks, just like recently flourishing Korean or Japanese cafes. They carried pastries, sandwiches, granola parfaits, and chia puddings from some local businesses, yet unfortunately busy weekends did mean most of them were already out of stock by noon. I got their Cloud Matcha, their version of Matcha Einspanner, sold to the appealing vibrant color. The matcha itself was up to scratch, being bold without 'grassy' taste. The default drink came sweetened yet it's at quite subtle level, making it just right. The cream on top was tad too bland for me, making it tasted bit 'too dairy' for my palate (if you knew what I meant). Overall worth trying if you're around the area! read more

Take my money! I have been on a matcha cloud/cream top craze lately and had to get my hands on this. Had a free afternoon, so I drove myself over to PV. Upon entering, I was surprised with how much seating there is. There are a few tables off to the side wall and a large communal table in the middle. Lots of plugs around and soft music was playing. Such a vibe - I'd definitely set up camp here. Service was nice and drink came out really quick, especially with only one gal working when I was there. I came for the matcha and matcha cloud was what I got. The earthiness of the matcha was prominent and I loved how balanced the drink was. It was a tad grainy, but I was able to look past that with that super fluffy cream top. The drink wasn't too sweet and it was addictive enough for me to inhale it during my 20ish minute drive home. I also got a chance to look at the beans they're selling and I'm definitely intrigued about Momos! Coming back next time I need to restock on beans and to get my hands on another drink! read more

The cloud espresso is possibly the best coffee I have ever tasted. It's perfect, light and a bit frothy and it has the perfect balance of sweet and bitterness.
