I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Cloud with oatmilk for $8.50. Very expensive for the size that you get! This is essentially strawberry milk with matcha and then a whipped topping. The matcha here is okay, it wasn't grainy which is a good thing but there is way too much milk compared to the matcha ratio, but it could also be because I got the "cloud" version so it dilutes the matcha flavor even more. My friend got their Toffee Nut Cloud with macadamia nut milk and THAT was actually good, it wasn't overly sweet but not bitter either, however nothing life changing or special. I'd stick to the coffee here. Not a 5/5 because the price is really high for the size, and the mediocre drinks. Service was good and efficient. Love the customer service here, shoutout to Noe! It's a nice and quiet coffee/tea shop with plenty of seats available. They have charging hubs (portables) on the main table which you can borrow to charge your devices. It charged my MacBook 15inch and still had battery left in it. The experience is pleasant. The menu is simple, and they only serve one size. The wifi is OK, could've been a bit more reliable, but nothing concerning. The restroom (only one) is very clean. Outdoor seating is in the mall. I was visiting the area for work, and I wanted a coffee spot to catch up on a little work before dinner--and this was super close to where I was. It's a super cute and modern spot with lots of natural light and extremely friendly and knowledgeable baristas. While a mocha is my typical drink, I saw that they had some "cloud einspanner" drinks on the menu. These are latte drinks with sweet cream, and they can be super tasty if done well. My espresso einspanner was done very, very well. I've been trying to reduce my caffeine consumption a bit (and it was later in the day), so I went with a half-caffeinated version, which often seems to result in a loss of flavor, but not here. I'd be happy with this drink anytime. This spot seems like it's perfect to stop in, stay for a good drink (they have a long communal table and a few others, plus outdoor seating) or possibly work for a while. Also, while initially I thought outlets were scarce--important if you're looking for a work spot--the communal table has some strategically located speaker-looking devices (don't let that fool you) that actually are for plugging in a variety of different types of devices (both regular electrical plugs and USBs). Music/vibe was great, and free parking in the structure for the mall is another plus. If I'm back in the area, I'd definitely return in a heartbeat. read more

This place is small but quaint. There is room to plug in your lap top and study or work. It I ordered a Spanish lattes half sweet. It was a little bit more sweeter than I wanted but it was still good. The coffee was definitely rich and dark. There was not an option for a larger coffee as I would have preferred. The good: This is a great addition to the area! I had been complaining about how there weren't enough coffee shops in the South Bay. I tried the pumpkin spice cloud drink and it was delicious. The "cloud" aspect is heavy cream with agave. It was so good, I drank it quickly. It was sweet but not overpowering. It was creamy but not so thick that it was like a decadent dessert. The pumpkin spice wasn't too strong in spice flavor. When I was out of coffee, I let my toddler sip the melted ice. I've never seen him so ferociously cling onto a cup and want more before. There's indoor seating as well as outdoor seating with outdoor umbrellas. They sell donuts from Old Ferry Building and desserts (like madeleines and caneles) from Sweet Wheat (great businesses!). The bad: The wait for the drink was bit longer than I expected. There was only one worker at the time but an additional person did come halfway thru my time here. The worker seemed a bit flustered with the line and all of the orders. It might just be because he's new and the business is new. He kept looking at papers maybe for recipes, knocked things over and accidentally put pumpkin spice espresso into the strawberry cloud drink (the girl was ok with it and said it was tasty). My drink was $8.75. The interesting: Their swirly black lamps are so cute! They look like witches' hats and are such a trendy statement piece. They have a long communal table in the middle of the shop. OMG did I just find my new favorite coffee shop?? I got the strawberry matcha cloud einspanner and it was AMAZING. Matcha was top quality. It was whisked well and not grainy at all. The strawberry milk was perfect. The strawberry flavor kind of reminded me of the Pocky Japanese snacks. The foam on top, matcha & strawberry milk was proportioned well. We came on a Sunday morning, and there was a short line but the service is fast. They have a short and simple menu and their cloud drinks caught our eye since we love a good einspanner. We ordered the Cloud Matcha and Cloud Espresso. Both drinks were so good and the perfect amount of sweetness and milk! Their cream top is on the thinner side so it's not too heavy and overpowering. It goes really well with the drink and adds a nice creaminess. 10/10!! They also have some pastries and donuts supplied from Old Ferry Donut. I've gone there twice and both times the drinks were not amazing, and there is a tall white dude that works there who is rude every time. I also know a few people who have been there and also mentioned this man who was rude or snarky to them so it is definitely not just a one time thing. I one time went there and ordered cold brew (he was taking my order) and he looked at me skeptically and asked me if im sure i wanted that or something. Been getting into coffee lately, and Misc just gets it! Tucked into a corner of the Palos Verdes Promenade, Misc was easy to miss as they don't have signage (yet?). The interior design is modern and sleek with their white marble contemporary vibe going on. Seating is plentiful and the shop is sizable for a coffee spot. The cashier was sweet and answered the questions I had with a smile - can't really ask for more on their level of service. She guided me into my selection of their Honey Oat Latte, which I enjoyed! With a strong note of coffee and slightly more than a touch of sweet, the drink was well balanced and just the right taste and sweetness. YMMV, but I loved it. It seems that the specialty lattes may be locked to a 12oz cup. I didn't inquire about a 16oz sizing (offered on other beverages) but regret not doing so as I finished the latte before I got home.
