    Soup of the day

We wanted to have brunch and we found this place very comfortable you can dine inside and outside depending on your preference and how hot the day is, food was great good flavor , the ladies were very nice and welcoming, their service was very good and friendly, i had the chilaquiles divorciados the green salsa was my take very rich in flavor, also had stuffed french toast with fresh fruit and they were great would definitely recommend ... I'll be back

I ordered the Loaded Benedict served on a croissant, along with a glass of orange juice. The croissant added a buttery, flaky layer that made the Benedict stand out. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise was rich without being too heavy. The toppings gave it a nice balance of flavor, and the fresh orange juice rounded out the meal well. Waited a little too long for the food. But that was expected given they were busy. The café had a comfortable, laid back atmosphere and the service was friendly. A great spot for a breakfast that feels a little special without being over the top.

The Crepery Cafe Food is amazing, I also like it Crepes professional service, recommend everyone,

This is a small restaurant with great service and delicious food. We tried their Americano, Belgian waffle, red chilaquiles, and a savory crepe with grilled onions, eggs, and cheese...... DELICIOUS!! The staff is very nice and attentive. Yaya has helped us every time we have eaten here and she provides great service.

[Review #814] 2024-013 Food Order: CHICKEN PESTO SANDWICH (oven roasted chicken, fresh mozzarella, pesto, avocado, tomato) APPLE CINNAMON CREPE (apple, brown sugar, cinnamon) DENVER OMELETTE (sausage, roasted bell peppers, onions, cheddar cheese) with MIXED GREENS, POTATO GRATIN MINI FRENCH TOAST (4 pieces french baguette, fresh fruit, powdered sugar) During my first year at my dream job, I was temporarily located in Rolling Hills Estates & our office celebrated Administrative Professionals Day by treating the admin team to a virtual lunch via Grubhub on a budget of $25.00. I wasn't familiar with this area, & of course I used Yelp to find some place within walking distance: The Crepery Cafe. I picked up a chicken pesto sandwich with an apple cinnamon crepe for dessert. The sandwich was delish! It had just enough chicken & barely enough mozzarella to cover the bread, with tidbits of avocado & 1 slice of large tomato. The small mixed greens salad was fresh & plain with a small dose of vinaigrette... no cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, etc. I needed the crepe for my hunger to be satisfied. The crepe itself was a tad rubbery with a decent serving of brown sugar & cinnamon apples, but flavor-wise, it was tasty. A couple of years later, I came back on a Saturday afternoon an hour before closing with my son, & we sat for more than 30-mins. waiting for our order. \(`0´)/ We were planning on going to the South Coast Botanic Garden after this very late lunch. A pair of women ordered before us & a couple with a 5-MO infant ordered after, yet both were served ahead of us while we waited another 15-mins. before following up with our order. When asked there were other orders ahead of us & placated that it's another 5-mins. when it was another 10. Although my son had a snack at his friends, he was starving/hangry by the time his french toast was served (poor guy). Most diners are happy with their food, but are also dissatisfied with their s-l-o-w service. Not the kind of lunch I would serve him, & the other kids menu options (PB & banana crepe, ham & cheese sandwich) didn't appeal to him; at least there was fresh strawberries & bananas. The baguette barely had any egg, which was probably more to his liking. My omelette was fairly hefty... definitely filling! The potatoes were thinly sliced & nicely baked. It was pretty good, but could be executed better... the base was too watery/diluted saucy. I wished I had a little bit more greens to balance out the heaviness of the omelette & potato gratin. Moderate menu size with moderate price points... just right for this cafe. The dining room is fairly spacious, mostly 2 & 4 seaters, with several tables for outdoor patio dining. There's 1 unisex restroom to the left of the bar, not ideal if the cafe is busy. Not sure if it's because of the location or its menu style, the cafe is only open for breakfast & lunch from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM daily except Mondays when they're closed. They used to open until 4:00 PM on weekdays & 6:00 PM on weekends. Still reeling from COVID-19? I've seen a lot of cafes & breakfast spots shortening their hours after coming back in 2022. Now that our Torrance office has been remodeled, I'm not up here that often. M liked his french toast, but The Crepery Cafe doesn't compete with his fav breakfast place that serves a boatload of pancake & french toast options. After dining with me, he's been vocal about who deserves repeat visits & wanted to score a 3 (meaning maybe we'll come back... meaning I'll need to go without him... LOL). Recommended: Denver Omelette (this one's filling), Chicken Pesto Sandwich (you may need a l'il extra sumthin' to be satisfied), Apple Cinnamon Crepe (could be a miss), Mini French Toast (only for the kiddos or as dessert for adults).

Food was delicious! Authentic Mexican CHILAQUILES and Beans ! The caramel Latte was sooo cute ! Above and beyond my expectations. I choose to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The waitress was very attentive. It was the perfect brunch vibe , very chill. Definitely coming back.

Eiffel Tower crepe with bananas & Nutella, veggie omelette with potatoes au gratin

Great breakfast spot. You must have the crepes, very tasty and the texture is perfectly light, no need for a knife, you can cut it with your fork. We had the Nutella crepe with bananas, amazing. Also, we had the veggie omelet. Fluffy eggs full of vegetables. Well decorated, bright and spacious cafe with outdoor seating. Friendly staff, quick service. We will surely return to try other items on their menu.

Cute little breakfast spot up in the rolling estates! The servers were so kind & attentive!! They did seem a bit short staffed on a Sunday morning, however they were very communicative about wait times & always checked in us!! We came with no reservation Sunday morning for two people & were sat down immediately Now for the food: Creamy Chicken Crepe 8/10: WOW I was in between this & the chicken delight & the server recommended the creamy chicken & it did NOT disappoint!! It was incredibly delicious! A bit oily, but overall tasty! Banana frost French toast 7/10: which is had more of the banana frost & more banana slices! The bread was a bit hard Big Breakfast 8/10: the potatoes were the right portion & everything you could have wanted for a filling breakfast! Overall cute spot for a brunch date! Can accommodate small to medium parties. Inside is a bit small, however there is outside seating with umbrellas as well

Food was delicious at generous portions & reasonable prices - I had the Superfood Salad with mixed endive, greens, beets, cashews, Goji berries in a zesty vinaigrette, plus French dip sandwich - delicious with shaved rib eye steak w/ au jus and fries - I could barely finish it. + i had a non-alky beer to wash it all down. Close to where the wifey wanted to shop, (aka, happy wife, happy life), but I too like the mens Bath & Body products. But I digress... We both got paninis, and in their defense, both were tasty. Me... chipotle chicken, the wife, turkey I think but I have no idea. The "fries or salad option" is offered and me, being the fat effer that I am, chose salad, as did the lovely wifey. Results. Pannini's, i.e. both of them, were very tasty. Not the knock your sock off kick my arse variety, but very tasty. Bread is delicious... That said... here is kicker #1. You are offered a 'Salad or a Fry', with your panini. Again. the both of us, attending to our respective diets, chose the salad option. Well... kick me in the arse and call me a donkey's child because I could have picked more greens outta my teeth after a snack sesh with broccoli after flossing, than this B.S... Again, I digress. What really gets me is the cost of two small, albeit tasty, panini's, that was $54... Really? Call me a cheapskate but I personally believe that $54 should at least give you a little... Well, I'll stop there... JMHO.

I got to enjoy beautiful views of the Pacific from their Garden Terrace and Ballroom. The Ballroom has windows that overlook the golf course and makes for a great sight of the sunset at night. It's also quite a spacious ballroom, making it perfect for large events and parties. Aside from enjoying the view, I got to enjoy a wonderful dinner here tonight. Dinner was kicked off with appetizers such as Fried Artichoke, Chicken Tostada and Coconut Shrimp. The main dinner course consisted of tender Short Rib with Roasted Potatoes and Peas. Dessert was a mini Apple Pie topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled with caramel. I enjoyed visiting Palos Verdes Golf Club very much. One thing I would note though was when I was leaving, it was quite dark. The neighborhood around doesn't have much light in the evening. I wasn't quite a fan of the dark area and I do wish there were more lights around. Other than though, this spot is a beautiful spot to visit.

Mar'sel is one of those restaurants that creates memorable evenings out!…read more It starts with a magical setting--it sits perched on a hill that affords spectacular ocean views, and many of the tables look out at that view. And the vibe of the restaurant sets the tone that you're in for something special. The food is clearly the main event. The menu draws influence from a variety of culinary traditions, but it's ultimately the creative vision of their culinary team. I am most attracted to unexpected directions a skilled chef chooses to take their food, and I was spoiled for choice with things I was dying to try! The execution was highly skilled and the plating nothing short of artful--so gorgeous. The cocktail options also felt like choosing your favorite child, and the port menu after dinner was so fun. The service was also flawless. Our primary server, Jesus, was passionate and excellent--he seemed to know every detail of every dish and loved sharing that with interested guests. Everything was prompt, the right temperature, etc. Also, my partner is Celiac, so we need strict gluten free with no cross-contamination. This was no problem at all for this restaurant--Jesus skillfully guided us through the menu and it seems like the issue was communicated to the other staff, so everyone was on the lookout for my partner's safety. We really appreciate that, which makes the dining experience so much more enjoyable. We had a really incredible evening here and deeply appreciate all the work and considerations that went into it.

Breathtaking sunset views, but a special occasion completely ruined by hostile service…read more I came here to celebrate a very special day, and while Nelson's boasts one of the most stunning oceanfront views in LA, our experience was heavily tarnished by a completely unacceptable level of service from our specific server. First, the positives: The location is unmatched. Having dinner while watching the gorgeous sunset over the Pacific was unforgettable. The tall male host at the entrance was also wonderfully kind, professional, and set a great tone for the evening. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag but mostly good. The burgers and tacos were flavorful and delicious. However, I would skip the Fried Calamari--it was almost entirely heavy batter, and it felt like there was barely any actual squid inside. Unfortunately, our dining experience took a sharp turn for the worst due to our female server. We were served our main courses before our salads or appetizers ever made it to the table, and we weren't even given any utensils to eat with. After waiting and searching for our server to no avail, I flagged down another staff member to ask for utensils and let them know about the missing appetizers. Shortly after, our server marched over to our table with an incredibly defensive and intimidating attitude, asking us if we had "complained" about her to another staff member. The hostile tone was shocking. To top it off, she forgot our drinks, and when we had to ask for them again, she gave us an exasperated, annoyed look. It is so disappointing when a beautiful, special occasion is ruined by someone's terrible attitude. While the scenery and most of the food were fantastic, management really needs to address the service standards here.
