My husband was recommended this new place by a friend and we were NOT disappointed! The staff is very friendly and the shop is very clean and maintained. I had the chilaquiles and my husband had the steak and eggs and it was so good. I stole a few bites off my husband's plate too and it was delicious! Service: Came here on a Saturday morning and the house was FULL. Luckily the service was super quick and not lacking at all. You'd think with how busy it was we'd have to wait a while for our food and drinks but I was shocked to see everything come out quickly. You order at the counter but there was always a server nearby ready to attend to whatever you needed. As a former server I judge the service hard when I'm at a restaurant and Sissy's did not disappoint. I even saw the owners working so hard, which was sweet to see. You can see the care they put into the details of the operations of the restaurant, the food and the customers, which is so important. Food: OMG!!! The flavors tasted like I was at a delicious upscale restaurant but at an affordable/accesible price. I had the shakshouka and the Borgia. The shakshouka is as delicious as it looks, and the flavors in the Borgia were incredible, def my new go to. I also appreciated that both were unique, never seen either on a menu before. Breakfast burrito was perfectly seasoned and packed with ingredients. Steak and eggs!! Omg juicy, literally kept thinking about it when I left, it was topped with a fresh chimichurri and the beans it came with were delicious. Also the bread that comes with the plates is so good, buttery and toasty. TBH I'd go back just for that toast lol it might have had garlic on it too? Reminded me of the ports o call bread I used to fight my sisters over. I also didn't realize that they had pastries bc they were off to the side, but omg so glad I noticed bc the strawberry scone and blueberry muffin were so moist and REALLY good. I'm always afraid that scones will be too dry but this one was perfect, apparently they make them in house daily! Love that. I grabbed a to go coffee to have for the next day (caramel latte) and was sad I didn't grab more bc that was delicious too. I can't wait to try more items on the menu bc nothing disappointed. Ambiance: This place is so cute! The entry way looks so elegant. Everything looks very clean and the space is bright and beautiful! I loved that it was kid/ family friendly and full of people just enjoying company. Overall I'd recommend this place 100%. I was really excited to try Sissy's Cafe since it's a new spot in town and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I had been seeing it all over TikTok, and since it's so close by, we decided to check it out. The space is super cute and aesthetically pleasing, and the customer service was great, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food and drinks didn't quite live up to the hype. We ordered two iced vanilla lattes, and they tasted like burnt coffee with a lot of simple syrup. The salsas didn't have much flavor, and while the burrito was just okay, the breakfast sandwich was definitely better just very oily. The onion straws, though, were served cold. For $42, I was hoping for a bit better quality overall. To be fair, we didn't mention anything at the time since I had to rush to work, so we didn't give them a chance to fix it. I'd still be open to giving them another try because I really wanted to love it; it's just a little disappointing when you go in with high expectations and it doesn't quite hit. read more

My first thought when walking in was how cute the place is. Very modern and clean and the chairs are SO comfy.. The menu is small but everything is delicious I'm sure. Definitely a brunch spot for us. You order and take your seat, my drink was ready pretty quickly and the food brought out after. It did get crowded and it's a Tuesday late morning, so I'm guessing weekends must be packed here. As mentioned before the place became crowded soon after we arrived and the parking was slim. Overall first experience was nice. I like the owners here, very kind and patient with us, answered our questions and gave us recommendations. Happy for them and wish their business well! I went to this Cafe for the first time yesterday. Here is a quick list of things I really liked and what could have made the experience even better. Things I liked: 1 - Staff was nice, attentive and friendly 2 - The food and drink (tomato toast and strawberry matcha) were beautifully presented and delicious 3 - The outdoor tables with umbrellas made for an enjoyable outdoor eating environment What could make the experience even better (hence the reason for 4 stars vs. 5 stars) 1- THE NOISE LEVEL INSIDE WAS ALMOST DEAFENING. We visited Sissy's Cafe today and overall had a mixed experience. The decor is absolutely beautiful and the space itself is really nice, which made a great first impression. The line was pretty long, and because there seemed to be only one cashier, it moved slower than expected. I think it would really help to add a menu board outside so guests can decide before getting to the register instead of asking a lot of questions at the front. Having two cashiers during busy times would also make the flow much smoother. Another thing I noticed was how loud it was inside. Instead of yelling orders across the restaurant, using a microphone or speaker system might make things feel more organized and less chaotic. The biggest concern for me was sanitation. I noticed the barista repeatedly touching his hair while preparing coffee and then continuing without washing or sanitizing his hands. That honestly made me uncomfortable and raised concerns about cleanliness. We ordered the chilaquiles, and unfortunately they arrived cold. We still ate them because we were really hungry, but it was disappointing. The place definitely has a lot of potential because the ambiance is beautiful and the service was nice, but based on the food temperature and sanitation concerns, I'd rate the food a 3/5. read more

My husband and I decided to try Sissy's Cafe this morning for breakfast. The reviews looked good and we've been trying to find a good breakfast spot nearby. The parking can be a bit of a challenge but we lucked out and got a space close by. We were hoping to sit outside but there are only two tables and both were occupied. One was set up for 6 people and had three and the other for 4 and had two. Maybe have three set up for four and if there's a larger group they could combine the tables? Anyway, we went inside and took a table by the window which had bench seating against the window and the chairs they had were padded which is very nice. My husband had the breakfast burrito and large drip coffee. I ordered the Shakshouka and a hot Chai Tea. The food was excellent! We were both pleased with what we ordered. My husband thought the Shakshouka was a bit spicy but I thought it was just delicious. It definitely has some kick but I didn't think it was too spicy. I tried his breakfast burrito and it was delicious too! We both would order them again. The place is very noisy so that's a bit of an issue that they should work to correct. I placed our order so I got the coffee right away but the chai never came. I went back to inquire and it looked like the order got misplaced or something. The young man making the drinks went ahead and made it for me so I got it quickly and it was delicious. My husband said the coffee was ok and thought the large was kind of small. He's does grind and make his own coffee each morning so he's a bit particular so keep that in mind. Overall we loved our meal and definitely decided we found our new local breakfast spot. This is not your average cafe !! The place is beautiful and cozy and inviting. The food is unique and so delicious! I had the chilaquiles and let me tell you they were the best I've ever had , soft and warm yet crunchy and savory . The baristas coffee drinks are on point and so delicious and the in house baked pastries are so good ! My coffee cake was still warm ! Everyone is so friendly and the service is excellent!
