Very creative dishes with super cute dishware. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual seating indoor and outdoor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a bit warm in here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Other than that, very cute place and good fresh food.

This place was delicious! My boyfriend and I went in for breakfast. I truly did enjoy their cafe de olla and their torta de chilaquiles! The first chip I tried was delicious and flavorful we will definitely be back!

The food reminds me of traditional home made Mexican food. Delicious! The service is okay. They only have one server on the weekends so be ready to wait or ask for everything you need when you're placing your order. Oh and there are NO REFILLS. You have to purchase the drinks individually. I personally dislike this concept. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The chairs are THE WORST. We really love the food but we always contemplate eating there because the chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs ever.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

El Classico, beans instead of potatoes. Look at the cute little mini-jarrito for the syrup.

If I can give this place 10 stars I would. The food was fantastic. The cafe de olla (served in an adorable ceramic cup) and Jamaica drinks were very tasty. The spouse had Chilaquiles Verdes (plain), I had the Huevos Norteños and our kiddos had El Clásico (pictured). We devoured everything. Carlo is super attentive and the food service was fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was a bit loud for my taste but the music selection was fantastic. Really set the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only suggestion would be to change the chairs, the sides tend to dig into you if you are slightly off centered. They need flat bottom chairs[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We will be back.

Chilaquiles Rojos, absolutamente deliciosos!!! Perfectly spicy !!

I absolutely love coming here when I am craving Chilaquiles. Unfortunately twice I have encountered that they are not open at the time stated, I've called and no answers. They have their open sign on but no one is there. I'm really bummed out 2 weekends back to back I came trying to eat chilaquiles. Well time to look for a new spot !

This place is amazing!!! First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the flavor!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a small location and it's so cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came during the week so it was not crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are not open for dinner and they closed in the afternoon. I ordered the chilaquiles and it was definitely authentic. I'm not a big breakfast person but it did not disappoint. I asked to have it made with two sauces, the green and red sauce. I'm so glad I got to try both! The tortilla chips were light and crispy too. The seasoning was spot on. I will definitely come back and try another item in the menu.

Really amazing food, great service. Kind of hard to see from the street but worth a try 100%.

I ordered the chilaquiles divorciados green/red, they were pretty, filling for sure! I substituted potatoes for black beans. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was nice and the ambiance is chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This a cool little spot, I've driven past a couple times and finally decided to stop by. The lay out and decor inside was really cool which was what brought me inside first. The food options sound delicious and filling. We ordered the chilaquiles and the asada burrito. Both were good, but nothing super spectacular. I definitely need to come back and try the tres leches French toast. There was only one server, but he was super attentive and continuously checked in. I would definitely recommend the cafe de olla, just be careful because there is no free refills for the cafe de olla but it's worth it.

    Jonathan B.

Fast and super good! Cafe de olla was sweet but good! The chilaquiles are amazing and a great portion. Can't wait to try the tres lenches French toast next time we go

    Trying this new brunch spot!

Props to the angel, Angel who was handling the front of the house all by himself-- server, cashier, bussing tables, greeting customers. Owners if you are reading this, please hire someone to help out in the front! Saw a yelp friend check in and was interested as I am a fan of Mexican brunch. Was here on a weekend afternoon w/the hubby. The location is not really Harbor City. It's closer to San Pedro in strip mall shared with other businesses. Although busy with the lunch rush, the dining area was quite clean. Angel, the all trades guy taking care of the front. He was welcoming and took our order. Hubby started with a tasty smoothie. I can't really do spicy and I made a mistake getting the chilaquiles which was very good but I gave to the hubby and ordered the California burrito with chorizo. Tasty! Hubby also had the enchiladas which appeared to be on the small side. Con Huevos (with eggs literally) is kinda tasty. Curious to try the other breakfast items. Hope they have 2 people working in front next time as well. 3 stars!

The best chiliquiles I've ever had! Comes with beans, and you can add meat. I added machaca with my plate. I could have shared the plate, it was a lot of food. I also got a cafe de olla. Customer service was great! The waiter was helpful and explained a few of the items on the menu. It was just him and it got a little busy but he always checked on us. Great ambiance! They have music videos playing for Music and I loved it! Overall a 10/10 experience. Can't wait to go back!!

My wife and I had an enjoyable breakfast experience, tasting some unique dishes that are worth coming in for. We had a real early errand in the Lomita area, so wanted to take advantage by trying a different breakfast place. They have a really informative website, explaining the owning family's participation and how some of their food is sourced. It's a brunch place (open from 8 am to 2/3 pm, Tu-Su), so needed to wait a bit outside (street parking only, found one hour free parking right in front since coming so early). Menus are available at the front counter, and you place and pay (clover) for your order first. The food came out soon after, delivered to your table. There is a self-serve water jug in the same area as take-as-you-need take-out containers (also saw a self-serve costco-size plastic wrap box for wrapping...such a Korean thing to do). Utensils and napkins are available at the table to take for need. I really like places like this that have optimized the service experience, getting what you need without having to track someone down. Forking Around's Filipino Burrito ($18.95) - a collab with the food influencer 'Forking Around' to put into a breakfast burrito, many common ingredients from a Filipino breakfast. This includes egg, garlic fried rice as base and a vegetable lumpia with longanisa pieces, wrapped in a good flour tortilla. Sides were both a cilantro lime crema and a well made sawsawan. The sausage was not too sweet nor too red (though perhaps a bit too meatloaf-like), and the lumpia in the burrito worked for me. Korean Breakfast with bulgogi and steamed rice ($19.95) - it was served in a cast-iron skillet and the pan had been heated up greatly...super hot when served and still warm by the time we left. The flavor of the bulgogi was solid, and I loved the presentation. Taco Truck Burrito ($17.95) - korean-style al pastor pork, with pineapple and kimchi fried rice and egg. It was good....forgot to ask if the meat was really cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Came with a good chipotle salsa and lime crema. We were done in 30 minutes, from entry to exit. It wasn't too busy, so asked the front-of-house lead where the longanisa sausage and lumpia were made...she stated that it was all in-house. That's really impressive, making an ingredient from scratch that is only used in one dish. This and the elegant presentation and longevity really shows that the entire team behind bites & bashes cafe (catering) knows what they are doing.
