Been coming here since they opened. My wife makes us visit every new coffee shop in the South Bay as she loves to try all the new things she sees on Tiktok. While some of them are okay, we always ALWAYS end up coming back to Corridor Flow the next week. Yes there might be a chic looking cafe with some fancy fad drink or a roaster just opened up their new industrial styled flagship store. But look forward to copious amounts of sugar covering up the taste of badly roasted beans or concrete blocks used as chairs and grossly high water to bean ratios. It should be a crime to sell over a 15:1 ratio. So why do we keep coming back to Corridor. Obv the coffee is great. The normal drip blend is something all coffee shops in the southbay should look to as an example. They used to use stereoscope beans which is known to be one of the best local roasters, and probably have a partnership with them because the roast is still exceptional. The coffee is flavorful, great mouthfeel, NOT watered down, just enough complexity to keep you curious but not so intense it is not longer balanced. If you actually like coffee, real coffee. This is the spot. It's like a slightly lighter cup of handsome coffee and a way better bang for the buck than blue bottle. They are constant supporters of artists and small businesses in the community, they have awesome style, like seriously their branding is legit. There are plugs everywhere. Like everywhere. Even in the back shaded patio. It's a great spot for getting work done. They even have an entire back area coworking space with private phone booths, printers, and all sorts of business supplies. The business is family owned and run. I forgot the owners names but the guy is an amazing individual and constantly is walking around connecting with people in the shop. I recently complimented someone on their style and the owner happened to be sitting across from me working, and then complimented me for being aware, present, and noticing things that made other people smile. This guy literally complimented me on complimenting others. Dude is meta af. The community is great and this is a big plus. This coffeeshop tends to attract just really honest and good-hearted people. I've met so many cool people here that are passionate about pursuing great things and moving humanity forward. In this time and day where there is so much hate and animosity, this is one of those very rare places where people can connect again. There is seriously no other coffee shop like it. It's comfortable. It's perfect for first dates, casual lunches, catching up with old friends, taking the kids somewhere (they have a dedicated children's section), grabbing a great cup togo (thank you for that dedicated pickup parking spot). and of course, getting work done. We've introduced at LEAST 30 people to this hidden gem over the years, and almost every single one of them says this is the best coffee shop they've ever been to. Yes parking sucks. But it's worth it. I looked around for parking for almost 20 minutes a couple months ago. Blame the city, not the coffee shop. They basically shut off public parking for the whole street opposite of the shop. I hope you guys open up another location someday. The coffee itself was very good, and that's the reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, my interaction with the barista left me feeling unwelcome. While I was waiting for my order, I noticed the barista warmly told another customer, "Have a nice day" when handing over her coffee. When I received my drink moments later, the interaction felt noticeably different and all I got was a brief "sure.", the contrast was enough that I left feeling uncomfortable and wondering whether I was being treated differently. Been driving past this establishment for a few years now. My daughter who recently got her drivers license wanted to check this place out and said she was going so I tagged along. Looks are deceiving because from the outside it appears to be small. But upon entering, it is quite a large space. Tables and couches all around mostly filled by students studying by themselves or collaborating with others. My daughter loved the vibes - thought the music matched her own tastes and the volume was just right. We ordered 3 drinks: Coconut matcha with banana foam top, Ube matcha with banana foam top and a mocha. Good, but a little too sweet for our tastes. We finally tried this coffee shop after driving by for years and not knowing what it was. The Spanish latte was good, but the cereal latte was mediocre. It just tasted like a regular iced coffee, I couldn't tell what made it "cereal." The almond croissant was excellent though and my husband liked his matcha pistachio croissant. There are little things for sale, like clothes and accessories and plant things. Seating is plentiful, though it was crowded when we went. The owner needs to check their employees and hire people who actually want to WORK and have a more welcoming demeanor and owner should look into investing more in the quality AND quantity of their matcha as well as learning from other small businesses that when a customer is unhappy with their order it would go a long way to offer a re-make or something else. As a small business owner, I understand customer service is EVERYTHING but clearly this business does not. Charged me $10 for a matcha latte( i paid extra for extra matcha ) and it tasted like they skimped out on quantity and i simply asked for a re-make or an alternative and they said sorry we already used product cant "waste more" so cant offer you anything and the barista was incredibly rude and lacked empathy. Sometimes you have to "waste" product to achieve customer satisfaction and if you understood running a business you would understand its not wasting, its investing in returning customers. Bc guess what you just lost a new customer who could have been a returning regular customer had you "wasted product", had the decency to simply offer a re-make or alternative drink and showed empathy like every other cafe would. I initially gave Corridor Flow 4 stars, but after trying them out again this morning, I was even more impressed. I got the ube latte again but this time I got it iced, iced version is even better than the hot one I loved before, super creamy, just the right amount of ube flavor without tasting artificial, and still nicely coffee-forward. I swapped in oat milk, which made it extra creamy, and the price still came out under seven bucks including tip, really amazing for what you get. Such a nice little coffee shop in Lomita! Ive passed by a few times prior and was curious so I finally went in. The layout is spacious with tons of seating options. I was really impressed by their kids corner filled with books and some toys. The staff was really friendly, answered all my questions and gave their suggestions. The flavor was actually really good, but it was super messy to eat. I wish they served it on a bigger plate because by the end, the croissant got all saggy from the filling. I ended up just eating the chicken salad with a fork. My husband got the tuna melt. He thought it was weird that it had corn in it, and the bread was chewy instead of crispy. Wow!!! That was exactly what I said as I walked through the door. Maybe it's because most coffee shops are seriously lacking in charm and quality these days. So walking into this place felt like walking into a modern day Central Perk. It has the coziest vibe, couches, work pods. I mean wow! As for the coffee, double wow! Corridor Flown is a nice upgrade to all the local coffee shops in the area. It's nice to see that something with passion and love for coffee and customers has opened. The shop has a huge lounge where you can relax, do some work, meet up with friends, or get the creative juices flowing. Decor is great they have a lot of local art, with a lot of slice of life hand drawn portraits by a local artist along with a small coroner of buyable showcased art. The coffees are very artisanal, thinks not the run of the mill black cup of coffee with sweetener pumps so be prepaid to pay a premium but very and fair affordable price. Coffee is well made and very balanced with flavors nothing overpowers the entire drink. I had the G.O.A.T, RIP Kobe, and the wifey had the Calamansi Tonic. Both refreshing.
