Ignore the iffy reviews. This was our first time trying this place and it was amazing! It's a family owned business and the owner, Yvette is there to greet you and make sure everything is well. My son and I went on Valentine's Day. The place was decorated with heart balloons and flowers. We have been going to Pollo Inka for 25 years and the last 3 times we went the service was terrible and the food meh. By contrast, this food was so flavorful and the servings were huge. We took half of our food home. I am always looking for ways to support local small businesses so we will be back with the whole family. read more

Food was delicious! We had the ceviche mixto. Perfect mix of squid, shrimp, and fish. Definitely a decent portion. We got Tallarines saltado because we wanted pasta instead of the usual fries. They were nice and hot. Couldn't finish it all. We also got picante de mariscos which is like a curry/gravy with seafood. I feel is more like a savory sauce than what I call curry. Came in on my lunch break to meet up with a friend. I ordered for both of us and was told I could sit anywhere. We ordered (2) Saltado de Pollo lunch specials and (2) papa relleno. They brought us chicken rice soup which was hot and perfect for the cold day. The saltado de pollo was absolutely delicious. I had a side of pickled onions which were the perfect touch. There was a problem with the papas but the lady behind the counter was quick to solve the problem and was very apologetic. Bummed we couldn't stay longer to enjoy because we had to get back to work. Way too overpriced I can go to el torito get the chicken fajita special for $10 or even the chicken enchilada for $10 or I can go to in-n-out and get the number one for about $12 bucks. I go here all the time. Spiciest green sauce and it's amazing! Good portion sizes and the people are always nice when I've been by. I usually grab a lomo Saltado, a whole roasted chicken and an order of chaufa de Camaron. They also have a chicken soup w cilantro lime and rice that they include a cup of with every entree. The lamb was bone in but also fall off the bone tender. There was enough to share between two hungry females. They were so kind as to be patient with my mom's demands. It was wonderful to go into a cozy restaurant open for Christmas. They have Karaoke Fridays, Peruvian beers, and non-alcoholic drinks. They have French and Spanish wines. They do catering. Peruvian home cooking, the lamb reminded me of Filipino barbacua but it's good getting acquainted with Peruvian taste and culture. Their logo is so funny, it's a comic line drawing of a chicken, no doubt a specialty of the chef which I could tell from the aguadita, arroz caldo verde con pollo zanahorias y guisantes green soup of rice with chicken and peas and carrots. Their motto in Spanish translated means, "Here you're not clients, you're friends!" Really true. Made my Christmas, too. We tried the ceviche yesterday. It was really good when we first ordered. Then a new cook lady came and we ordered two more. But the ceviche tasted differently. The review from the Jassimier girl (costumer) was wrong. I was there when she complained about the chicken. The cook wanted to offer the chicken for free since "she didn't like it" and she made a scene saying she didn't ask for free stuff. Then what did she want the cook to do? Not good at all for my taste. I will stick to my El Pollo Inca!! I only like lomo saltado and fried plantains. I tried this place due to their 4 star ratings. I was there for a good 10 minutes only 1 family there. On waitress came out to and never asked me if I needed help. So while I stood there I put an order through YELP, waited a few minutes. I ordered food from this restaurant through Grubhub and the driver never brought me my food. I reported the order and received a refund. The restaurant called my me and accused me of colluding with driver and threaten to report me. I told him that I never received my food or a confirmation picture that it was delivered. Very unprofessional behavior and practices by calling me in my phone especially because I used a third party service. If they had problems they need to contact Grubhub also. This is the 2nd time we order and I'm so disappointed. The tallarín de pollo didn't have much chicken (was super salty); the lomo saltado had fries that looked like they were fries in dirty oil; the aguadito was tasteless; the saltado de pollo also didn't have chicken; and the 1/2 chicken (looked like it wasn't from today - skin was all wrinkled, dry with the old rice and the salad fresh but about a 1/4 full of water). Sorry but I would rather drive further to get fresh food for the prices we paid. read more
