My boyfriend loves this place! I finally gave them a try by picking up some food via drive-thru. I feel torn and might have to try them again because my food was half good and half stale. I ordered their double bacon cheese burger with onions rings and an arnold palmer. I opted to make it a large for an extra $.59 or something. I also ordered another side of zucchini fries. The burger was delicious. The onion rings and zucchini fries were fried well but the breading on both were stale and tough. I don't know if they were sitting for a while and then got refried? It sucked because the portions are generous but I couldn't even eat 1/4 of the onion rings and zucchini fries. Even the ranch couldn't save it. A lot of food for the price the place is great it's never too full. The service was great, they do mostly drive-thru orders here at this Carson location. Ample parking, clean bathroom, hot water access. You can tell a lot about a restaurant on the overall functionality of the bathroom and cleanliness. I ordered the fish and chips basket $14.99 The food was great ! Not quite the best quality of fish batter but still very good and cooked well almost like air fry system. The overall basket was great either way a mix of French fries and onion rings. It was paired with a very good carbonated coke and a house salad. For the price and quantity of the meal, it's definitely a hot item to get! Well we were in the area after attempting to attend a funeral. My hubby was starving and mother in law was thirsty. I really try to stay away from fast food, but baby this place it the best. My husband and I had the chicken salad, while my granddaughter had an avocado bacon burger . Food is always good , well prepared and fresh. If you can manage to have Ms Tina to wait on you, you will be lucky, all the staff are nice, but Ms. Tina is the best of them all. I only brought cash with me and no debit card, I was 2.00 short and Ms Tina said, no worries I will pay the difference for you. I was reluctant but accepted her offer. So one of my offices is right around the corner so I pick up food pretty often from YB. First let me say that the ladies are always so nice whenever I go. Food is always hot and fresh but some items I like better than others. I'm not really big on their burgers because they suffer from the same issue I have with most mom and pop burger places in SoCal, a small patty loaded with lettuce and tomato. The tacos are solid and packed with meat and they have great breakfast. YB isn't bad but it isn't mindblowing delicious either. It's convenient to my job and better than McDonalds but if there were better options in the area I'd probably opt for those. First they put the traditional tasteless iceberg lettuce and utterly worthless unripe tomatoes which most places use which I wanted to try and wanted to like but inevitably I removed them. The sausage was typical in that you take one bite and the entire thing comes out because the skin is too thick, which again is how those things are.
